I came here with some friends, had a few good drinks, and then all of a sudden another group of friends comes in and starts playing Celine Dion's "And That's The Way It Is" and everyone is singing and jumping around and dancing and lying on tables taking pictures. I'm just there with my drink thinking to myself "tonight is a movie" and then I started singing along too.

I can’t recommend this place enough! The food was so good and cheap and came out so quickly. I played next door and besides it being sweaty it was such a beautiful experience. The sound was great and the staff was so lovely.

Saw a live rap show here a few days ago. The venue is intimate and has a great feel to it! The drinks were reasonably priced and the staff were nice. It also wasn’t too busy on a Sunday night which was a plus.

Great food, drinks and music. A very important and supportive music venue for a couple decades now. Can't wait to get back there when the air is clear again!

A un toscano "La casa del popolo" evoca vecchietti che giocano a tressette bestemmiando, panini al prosciutto e Chianti. Niente di tutto ciò in questa Casa, ma non per questo una delusione. Bell'ambiente, bella gente prevalentemente anglofona, snack vegetariani buoni ed economici. Servizio al limite del self-service (ma vogliono ugualmente la mancia, vai a sapere perché). Musica un po' troppo forte, ma non male.

I really appreciate vegan options and theirs were very good. Portions are on the smaller side. The concert area is extremely small and intimate, I felt bad for the bands performing for only a handful of people, but I also felt privileged. They have a lot of great beers and delicious cider.

Nice ambiance in the restaurant and the adjacent live music bar and stage is very well insulated. You can almost not hear the music from the restaurant even though the music can get quite loud. Went to see some live music and really enjoyed ourselves.

Awesome little dive bar with Mexican food, loud music, WiFi and a warm atmosphere. Stopped in before a show across the street without any preconceived notions and spent a good 2 hours hanging out. The staff was friendly and attentive when necessary but not too much. I will definitely go back if I’m in the area again.

Bar and music venue. They had about a dozen beers on draft. Bartenders were kind and very helpful in explaining the cluster of venues nearby. Service was quick.

I hate it here. The waitress humiliated me when I was at my lowest. Also I don’t like the concept of nachos. Also I don’t like that my boyfriend went there for nachos with someone else from Calgary and then brought me there. Also there’s no bathroom in the kitchen and the stairs (ramp) are at too much of an incline. THEY DONT VALIDATE PARKING

Avis au propriétaire Dimanche, j’ai vraiment vécu une expérience désagréable. J’ai fait un détour pour venir prendre un natchos parce qu’un mardi, il était tellement délicieux on en avait prix 2. Mais ce soir, comme j’ai dit à la personne au bar, le natchos était mal faite. Le fromage était tellement mal reparti, tout concentré au milieu en gros morceaux fondus-figé en ayant refroidit. La serveuse assez méprisante me demande ce que je veux qu’elle fasse, avec un air de “Jmen fou ben”. Jy recommande tout simplement d’en parler au cuisinier pour qu’il s’améliore. Elle me demande pourquoi j’y ai pas dit plus tot quand elle m’a demandé si tout était beau. Stais, quand on reçoit l’assiette pi qu’il fait noir, on voit pas. Après quelques chips j’ai cherché le fromage et j’étais vraiment déçu. Donc elle me dit que yest trop tard que j’aurais du y dire avant pour le refaire. Alors je réponds: moi le client je te demande pas j’le refaire, mais jte dis ce que j’en pense et c’est ta job d’en parler à ton collègue, c’est important que la cuisine ait des feedbacks . Donc disons que j’me sentais déjà pas tellement bien servi par elle en terme de réception , la en plus elle a éclaté à rire quand jsuis allé me rassoir (j’étais allé à elle en lui montrant le natchos. Pas longtemps après, 2 minutes, le cuisinier apparait. J’imagine qu’elle lui fait le message, ils parlent. Moi je prends une photo du natchos avec les gros morceaux de fromage pi des chips vides , avec ma bière pleine. En prenant la photo j’ai dit que j’allais écrire un commentaire sur Google, en espérant que le proprio en prenne compte. Elle a encore éclaté à rire Le cuisinier a peut être mal fait le natchos, il peut apprendre si c’est par manque d’expérience. Mai’s la bartender elle ma vraiment coupé la faim et la soif. J’ai payé 30$ pour ne pas manger ni boire ce que j’avais payé et tipé. Ma plainte ne vise pas le cuisinier, mais la bartender. Elle M’a fait fuir. J’ai payé 30 $ pour le faire mépriser et faire rire de moi.

Nachos are as good as they’ve always been in terms of taste & portion, but during my most recent visit it took 25 minutes and a reminder before they were literally tossed on to our table. the tacos are small and bland, the drinks are insanely overpriced and miniature, and the service is actually awful enough that I’ll probably never come back again which is a very huge bummer as someone who’s been coming here for a decade.

I don't even know where to start with the WORST EXPERIENCE ever. The location is good, central! NO FREE parking, basically it's $25 per day, park on the street! Stairs are horrible to walk on just to get to your room! We asked for TWO-BEDS, and instead, we only got ONE 😡 we tried reaching out to the owner, and he never responded. We paid for the price of two beds, which sucks because he didn't get it. The WORST part is that doesn’t say YOU MUST SHARE BATHROOM with EVERYONE, which is NASTY! There is no bathroom inside the room, sheets that were dirty and smelled BAD. There is a kitchen for everyone to share, we didn't bother because we only stayed two nights, in which the bed is BAD! NO REFUND what so ever! Definitely NOT recommended!
