Overall a nice restaurant, but not for you if you want to eat only the commercial tourist food of Italy or if you don’t like fish. So don’t come here then and whine about the fish food which has fish taste or the amount of food if you don’t know how Italians’ eating culture.

We were a party of 4 and had a spectacular dinner last night. The food was delicious, their house white wine was one of the best we have had, the service was excellent and the ambiance exceptional. Make sure to make reservations beforehand. If you are not staying in this area it’s worth coming and enjoy an authentic meal from this region.
First interaction: Chiara - very polite, delicate, professional and with a lot of patience, as I was not understanding Italian very well she explained “piano” all the dishes that I wanted to know. As a lover of the fish this restaurant was the best for me 🐠 this is the place to eat fresh fish from the lake Como! The restaurant is owned by the chef, that is also a fisherman, so fishing by the day cooking by the night ! Started the dinner with a white wine from Lugana region, floral perfume but dry finish, loved it! 🍷 We had as a starter the famous appetizer called “Antipasto Misto Di Lago”, composed by fish cooked in 6 ways. Definitely a must try if you want to experience different tastes of the local fishes. Primi piatti: - I had the amazing Pasta Al cartoccio, was absolutely delicious and fresh, I would have never expected a pasta cooked Al forno to be fresh. - And Laganelle al limone con bottarga di lavarello - nothing spectacular, for our taste was a basic Al limone pasta 🍝 But the plates, were enormously big for a primi piatti! Too big! 👌🏼 Secondi - Main course - Persico Al burro e salvia - tasty dish, but the main intense flavor was the fried, butter and salvia, but not so much the fish. - Scartuzel de lavarel - ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS, I have to say that for a lake fish cooked in a paper with capers tomatoes and olives was amazing. Very tasty, fresh, delicate and definetly my type of cooking style! 👌🏼 Very good food and ambiance, thank you Da Abate for a wonderful dinner! 🐠👏🏼
Perfetto ! A good friend recommended the place and he was completely right ! The food is tasty and of good quality, the service is attentionate and motivated. We hadn't finished our first meal there that we decided to come for the next. We will happily come again at our next visit at the lake !
Menu is easy - Diiferent variations of fish fillet - simple and tasty. Fillet of lake local fish - lavarello. Reasonably low prices, very good garden and excellent service. Vine list is ok, as well desserts. Very pipular among local people. Highly reccommended.
There are not enough stars available to rate this restaurant in my opinion. We were on vacation in Lezzeno for a week and our host recommended "Da Abate" - The food is amazing, the staff super-friendly, and the prices more than reasonable. We fell in love and reserved a table for a second visit after paying the bill for our first visit, and now we are sad to be back at home in Germany. Highly recommended!
Great place to try local fish. The menu is very thick as they offer so many different ways to prepare the fish fillet. I highly recommend to try the three fillets in one plate option.
Quaint, nicely done interior yielding class with compfort atmosphere. Food was to die for - best Perch I have ever had! Service was exceptional as well.

Love the place and the service, very good quality. Still remember polenta with dried sardines, could not find similar way of cooking anywhere else. Just perfect 👌

Great service, good food and pleasant atmosphere. What more could you ask for. The owner is a fisherman and catches fresh fish daily from the lake.

Just amazing ! The service is incredible, we had Prosecco at arrival and the waitress took the time to explain all the dishes in a near perfect English. We then had the chance to walk in the kitchen in order to see how the fish was prepared which was a great experience. The restaurant has a lot of confidence in its employees and everything was pristine. The whole meal was delicious, we got linguine and fish cooked in three different ways, and dessert. Add a bottle of wine sourced from around the lake, and the whole bill was only 65 euros ! Thanks so much for such a delightful experience

Found this restaurant on Google offering seafood options. Made a booking via phone call. They have a valet who will find a parking spot for you if you are coming in your car. The seating area is quite nice with both indoor and outdoor seating options. We ordered fish and chips and Pasta with fish. They have locally sourced fish from the lake so it’s not like typical fish and chips but still tasted good enough for the kids. We also tried desert, their 3 cakes and all tasted very good. Overall a great restaurant providing great options. The prices are mid++ but you do get great food.

The concept of ittiturismo is very good, having local lake fish based plates. The restaurant is pretty nice and the service fast and kind. The variety is good, it’s definitely worth a try .
We were staying in Lezzeno , I thought this restaurant was going to be fabulous, however other than the man outside who was truly lovely ) I did not feel any passion inside .. I asked for a recommend…
I have no clue why this restaurant has such good reviews. It is by far the worst restaurant I have been to in Italy. I know it’s a fish restaurant but everything tastes way too fishy even the ragu (and I’m a huge fish fan).
