We were here today for lunch with friends, and we stopped for a bite to eat. We drank a cold beer, ate a really good platter, and then had polenta for lunch: polenta with wild boar, polenta with gorgonzola, pancetta, and walnuts. Everything was wonderful, authentic flavors, and generous portions. The staff was friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back!
If you want good food without all the fuss, this is the place for you. The space isn't large and is frequented by many workers during their lunch break, so reservations are recommended. There's free blue-line parking nearby during the low season.
I stopped by on my way back from the beach after my tent. I must say I was pleased with both the courtesy and the speed with which the dishes were prepared. The traditional cuisine was very good. I'll definitely be back.
Family-run, clean, and tidy. Excellent location, convenient to town and parking. Affordable prices and a wide selection of dishes on the menu. Friendly staff and short wait times.
We returned here after many years because we were regular customers of the pizzeria Il Camino, run by the legendary Giorgio, uncle of the current owner Alessia. We were pleasantly surprised by the excellent food, the quiet and relaxed atmosphere, and the kindness and helpfulness of Alessia and her staff. We've returned several times and found this to be true. We definitely recommend it.
I almost never leave a review...but when it's deserved it has to be done!!! Exceptional even with children, they brought them markers to the table. Top kindness. Well done well done. Excellent food.

Good place to take a good lunch 👍 !
Excellent place for a travel break or business lunch at affordable prices. Family-run, run by a mother with two daughters. Friendly and courteous...
Welcoming, authentic, and family-friendly. On the main road leading to the village of Tenda, within the town of Limone, is this lovely diner offering delicious, home-cooked Piedmontese dishes. Friendly and helpful staff. Fair prices and efficient service. Also recommended for a business lunch. Ample parking is available nearby, easily accessible and convenient.
Location: Not a particularly beautiful view, but very convenient for entering the village. Staff: Kind, friendly, and helpful. Service: Excellent, with a reasonable wait. Food: Good quality and excellent presentation. Price: A bit high. Personal opinion: In my opinion, this is a place worth trying for those looking for a quick stop before a tour of the village or a mountain adventure, as it's a bar serving very touristy dishes like pizza, burgers, polenta, and more. In my opinion, the quality is excellent, and the service is excellent. The place isn't too large, but it's very comfortable.
Excellent experience, welcoming staff. We went today, Epiphany Day, with our four-legged friend. The very kind woman brought a bowl of water for our little one. The place was very cute. We had a platter of cured meats and cheeses, the first course of the day was capon tortelli with melted butter and thyme, polenta with wild boar stew, and polenta with bagna cauda, accompanied by a quarter of Barbera and a liter of water. To finish, a San Simone. Total: €58, which I'd say was fair. We wanted dessert, but we were full. We'll definitely be back and I recommend it. I'll post photos if I can.
I went with my wife, daughter, and dog. Sitting at the table, they asked if they could bring a bowl of water for the dog. I ordered polenta; I had porcini mushrooms, my wife had cheese. Both were excellent, delicious! The desserts were delicious, and the staff was excellent, helpful, and friendly. We'll be back.
Excellent experience. I called on February 13th to check if there would be any problems with a normal dinner the following evening, Valentine's Day, since we were passing through on our way to the beach that evening. They told me there wouldn't be any problems, so I booked for 7:15 pm, since we're with our 3-year-old daughter, who at that time... The next day we were more than half an hour late, so I called and they told me not to worry. We arrived and were seated immediately. The staff was very kind, smiling, and attentive, despite the crowd. The mixed appetizer was very good in quality and quantity, the meat was excellent, and the side dishes were equally good. The beer was tasty, and the desserts were well-prepared and served. The price was fair. It couldn't be better... The only flaw: the vexing issue with the tunnel... the minute counter had been dead for months, the wait was shamefully long, and the tunnel was always in disrepair... The tourism operators of Limone and the Vermenagna Valley must make themselves heard!
Three of us stopped for lunch. We were returning from Nice. The girls were immediately friendly and welcoming, welcoming us and quickly seated us. We ordered tongue in salsa verde, curenta steak, rustic potatoes, a hamburger menu, tea, a medium beer, water, and three coffees. Everything was delicious, especially the curenta. The bill was €39, which I'd call excellent value. Having grown accustomed to the crazy French prices, it was a pleasant ending. A slight negative note was the table layout, which was a bit too narrow. I've already saved it to my favorites because I'll be returning on my motorcycle next summer... The Via del Sale is on the agenda.
Conveniently located on the road with ample parking both uphill and downhill. It's a shame that, considering it's a workers' place (it's packed at noon), we had an unpleasant surprise, even after checking the prices. We ordered: 1 L of still water, 1 medium beer, 1 appetizer of cold cuts and ground Curenta, 1 Fassone burger (a plate with 1 burger inside, that's it), 1 Curenta steak (note: it's recomposed and spiced ground beef) with peas (a large spoonful costs €5), and 1 green salad (€5). Nothing else. Total: €54.00. Definitely excessive for a casual place that sells itself as lunch. Something doesn't sit right with me. As for the ambience, I have to be objective, as I was above...very nice inside and out, and very clean. The only shame is the exorbitant prices for the side dishes and appetizers (€15 is too much for eight slices of cold cuts and a bowl of giardiniera). If we'd also had coffee, dessert, and an after-dinner drink, we'd have come to €70-75...unacceptable for a place like this. Normal, ordinary service with a bread basket.
