Decent sports bar. Small menu but with all the basics. Locals swing by for lunch. There's booth, table & bar seating along with a couple outside tables. Lots of TVs across the walls. They put labels on each monitor so you know which games are on which monitors, something I've not seen before. I had the hanger steak. Nicely seasoned. I tried their homemade carrot cake. It is a heavier cake with thick icing. I liked it. It was a serving size for 2 but I managed most of it. The table caddy of condiments even includes Mayonnaise, another thing I've not seen before.
We were in the area and stopped in around brunch time. The service was great and the food was delicious! I highly recommend the sweet potato and the french fries! Also, the club sandwich is great.
Great Tavern, awesome food(s), and accepts dogs on the 4 outdoor tables. Lots of TVs inside to watch the games. Shout to the service staff, as they were very accommodating to my furry family. Located in downtown Littleton, with a small town charm ...
Went here with my family, sat on the rooftop for lunch and had a fantastic meal. Their lunch specials are large portions for reasonable prices. Staff is extremely friendly and move fast. Highly recommend the chili and buffalo chicken wrap. Definitely coming back again!
Highly reccomend to anyone in the area! Visiting from Illinois and founds this cute place with indoor and outdoor seating. Service was so amazing, quick, and everyone was so friendly! All of our meals were absolutely phenomenal! Best veggie burger and fries we have ever had! Prices are a little highly but the food is completely worth it! If you need some place to eat, go to the Tavern!
We came back to town from hiking in Glenwood Springs late & this was one of the only restaurants still open. It wasn’t busy so we were seated right away. The place was clean & stylish & had a comfortable classy sports bar atmosphere. The staff were all very nice. The drinks were perfect (it’s very rare that I go somewhere & don’t have to send my drink back because it’s not right). They were only serving appetizers at that time of night but the portion sizes & taste - PERFECTION. We got the nachos & buffalo cauliflower. Prices were moderate. We will definitely be coming back here for drinks & appetizers.
Nice corner spot with limited outdoor seating. Burgers, sweet potato fries, slaw and Moscow mules. All were excellent.
Their homemade veggie burger is so delicious! The veggie nachos are really good too. Great ambiance, excellent service.
Good happy hour deals and our food tasted great. Fish and chips, beer can chicken.
Great service followed by great drinks followed by great grub!! You will become a regular here.
Fantastic food, you can tell they care about the quality. Service was great as well!
Get the Proper Nachos!!! We call them proper because there is the proper amount of toppings on each and every chip! Worth the visit!!
Great place for a drink and some grub. Their prices are very reasonable for tasty cocktails or other beverages of choice.
My son & I always have a wonderful time when we go here. Good food, service, atmosphere, & most importantly the music!
Came with a bunch of friend and had a great time. Our waiter John took great care of us. The food was great and a perfect place to watch a game, there are tons of TV’s. Great outdoor seating and a great fun vibe. Everything was clean and I would highly recommend eating hanging out for a football game. Being all your friend.
Delicious food and great service. I love the fries!
Not the typical tavern fare - the food was great! Excellent nachos with shredded roast beef and fresh jalapenos. Best chili soup ever! Good service. Cloth napkins. Highly recommended.
I came in for lunch. I had the pear gargonzola salad and added cranberry glazed grilled salmon. Yummy. It was just the right amount. I should give them a four star because it was very expensive, but the food was great, the presentation was nice and the service was great. It was not busy. The music in the background was loud enough to hear, but not so loud that I could still understand my waitress. Who was awesome. Thank you Alison.
My girlfriend and I moved here a year ago from out of state, and the Tavern is easily our go-to spot! John was our server, and he was super attentive and had great drink recommendations! Always excellent food and service.
Came in last week for the first time and a bad experience. Decided I was gonna give it another shot and I was not disappointed! The night bartender Chelsea is OUTSTANDING. Served us with a cheerful smile and really made me and my friends feel welcome. She recommended the volcano burger and let me tell ya it was amazing. Highly recommend the tavern and make sure you go see Chelsea. Thank you!!!! Thoroughly impressed!
Logan was a fantastic server and bartender. They were busy and a little understaffed but he made sure to take his time offering recommendations and making sure we felt welcome. I would recommend requesting him as a server if you go. The food and drinks were well-priced and tasted fresh.
Perfectly acceptable tavern with food and drink that's likely better than it needs to be! I had one of their burgers, which was fantastic, and I've been in before for drinks which were fine. Prices standard for the area. If you are looking for decent bar food, a good place to go for lunch, this is a solid choice. Fine service too.
Came here for dinner late night on my birthday on Monday mainly because it was one of the only places open and the bartender served us outside. Even though it was near the end of the night, she gave us the best service! She was so friendly and attentive. My husband had a burger and I ate a simple chicken finger and sweet potato fries, both were tasty! We ended up coming back a week later on a Saturday for impromptu late night drinks at the rooftop bar. They had a great DJ and the staff there too were all awesome, they always stayed on top of our drinks and made sure we had water. We probably arrived a little after 11pm and it was pretty quiet in terms of how many people were there but after 30 minutes or so people started coming in. It was a good time and nice to have a place to listen to a DJ and dance late night in Littleton! We will definitely be back!
Easily the best fish and chips I've ever had, no doubt. Been there a few times and each time it has been busy, but the service was spot on even though they were moving like crazy. We were sat pretty immediately, our appetizers and drinks were brought out warm and delicious. Our server Matthew was awesome, even though it was obviously busy (Broncos game was on) he was incredibly attentive and made a great experience even better.
We just celebrated my wife's 60th birthday. The event at the TAVERN was awesome. From Jeff the manager, the food, and the service people, everything was perfect. I highly recommend the TAVERN, not only for the atmosphere, but the people who helped us with everything. It was a great party from start to finish. Thanks TAVERN, Randy Jesse.
I have always liked the tavern. As American food and bars go they really deliver well. The burgers are fantastic and the fries are absolutely delicious. If you're looking for solid pub food that will absolutely deliver put this on your short list.
I love this place! Cozy booths. Great service. My fav is the veggie burger and sweet potato fries with Salmon Creek Cab. My hubby loves their IPA’s and chicken sandwich. Brussel sprouts are also very good. I hope that they will reopen soon. Our fav place in downtown Littleton.
I have been here a few times, it has always been fantastic as far as the food in the service. They seem to have a decent selection of beers and for those people who like wine they seem to have a decent selection of wines as well. I have never had a problem with any of the customer service or the service in general here, it is always been top-notch. The food has always been Top Notch. I personally believe that they might need to add a little bit more selection to their menu but I think for what it is it is absolutely fantastic.
Great place for a quick lunch in downtown Littleton. Fish tacos are great. Fish was cooked perfectly. Could have used a little more seasoning, but overall very good. I’ve also had the ham and cheese pretzel sandwich, which is a solid lunch offering as well. Servers are super attentive without being overbearing. Heather has been our server the last couple times and is excellent.
Odd main door feng shui going on here. It feels like it should be down the side street but it’s actually on Main St. next to a defunct ATM machine. Anyway, by the time we got inside it was a nice experience. Wide and spacious with plenty of seating options. Solid beer list and food menu.
I love this place is so dark. (In atmosphere) it makes the restaurant cozy without being overly masculine with all the sports TVs. Food is good, reasonably priced. There is parking in the back which they recently made valet parking, which I don't mind because when I'm going there to eat, I hate the struggle of looking for parking. The valet is free, but tip them anyway cuz its the right thing to do..👍🏽 also, get the queso and chorizo appetizer. Its really good.
I asked for a medium rare burger and got it cooked to my liking. It won’t blow your mind but it was tasty. The only complaint is that napkins were nowhere to be found.
First time diner and we had a friendly waiter. We got the friend zucchini for an appetizer and then for dinner I tried a classic Fish and Chips. Personally i didn't love the fries or the fish (they were in a fish stick form) but the slaw was the best. Next time I think I'll try a salad. That being said, I do like the atmosphere and the lighting. It get a little loud but not so much that I couldn't hear the stories being told over dinner. Update, fish are better now but the slaw is not as excellent as before. Roasted Brussels sprouts were really nice with the sweet sauce
Great location and absolutely fantastic fajitas. It's a lot to eat! The only downside is the slow service and in the evening, the sun can be really annoying on the patio. They could use some better shade screens. Great food though!
Visited Wednesday night with a party of 9. Food was good. Very impressed with the service by Chelsea, very tentative. She took care of our party and ran the bar tops as well. Definitely will be back
On a busy Friday night we surprisingly got a table quickly. The bar food was above par and quite good actually. The atmosphere was as expected and the staff did a good job staying on top of things. Careful where you sit, under a vent with a constantly on fan but no heat was uncomfortable. The heat was coming "any minute" but never did, we just had to endure the cold air for the duration. Minus that, an overall pleasant experience.
I had a Cobb salad at the Tavern Lowry and it was so good and I was craving it again. So I ordered one at Tavern Littleton and a majority of the lettuce was brown. I picked the order up to take home and was really disappointed. I got to the Tavern before the order was ready, so it should have been fresh! I can't rationalize paying $20 for a salad, let alone one that most of the lettuce is bad!
My friends fish taco was so salty neither of us could even swallow a bite. My enchiladas tasted great but didn't settle at all. Waitress was excellent and very professional and kind even tho we complained a bit! And kudos to the manager for the food credit. I think the staff was great but the kitchen could really do better at helping this place get better reviews.
Food: OK. Not that great, not terrible. I got the Ultimate Mac which was very small for $17. It was decent, but ultimately overpriced. Wife got a basic burger that really had no flavor and was not cooked correctly to order (cooked medium well, asked for medium rare). Service: Not overly attentive service, but polite staff. Overall, go for a drink, and maybe get small bites. "Meals" are basic and overpriced.
We have come here a couple times. The food isn't bad. However, for the price point I would expect a bit more. The thing that makes all the difference is the server. Normally, we have good service. However, tonight my server had the personality of a wall. Please do not put someone on during trivia night who has no personality and or up selling and drink experience. While most of the time my server is decent, that was not the case tonight. The hosts are super ditzy and unprofessional too.
Food is okay. We ordered the chips and salsa appetizer, and the chips were not homemade and very stale. The restaurant was surprisingly empty for a weekend. It also took quite a while to get our beer and cocktail. Overall, the price was not worth the quality of food and experience we had.
I hope folks at the tavern hear this…you used to be better. I know everyone is still reeling from Covid and getting back on track but you haven’t kept up with recovery. Service was mediocre, our server kept complaining about the stairs, he got to us with most everything but everything took a lot longer than it should have. The food on the other hand was not worthy of being served at a restaurant. Period. Pure fail. Burgers were way overdone, guacamole was day old at best (browning, see my pic) and they gave the kids grilled cheese the effing heel of the loaf! Who does that at a restaurant!? Do better Tavern. You were better. We miss you.
Wow. The Tavern is a vestige of its formal self. Came for a Mizzou watch party. Not only was the bartender obtuse, there was no volume, and I was advised that if I’m here for a watch party then just watch, you don’t have to listen. Took 20 minutes for a beer. Then went downstairs was equally slammed with one bartender for all of college Saturday game day. Wildly understaffed, and wildly unprofessional. I would avoid this if you are bringing a group for sports. View House is right across the street, and operating at a higher level. ———————- Part 2 - still here Ordered Odell’s IPA and keg was foamy. Glass came with top 40% foam… which then settled into a 75% full beer. Asked them to top it off and the reply was “there is supposed to be a little room at the top”, as if this is my first high school beer. Whaddup Tavern?!
The lack of crowd should have been a sign. Even the sign when you go in states they are short staffed and apologizes in advance. We were seated upstairs where there were 2 other tables with guests. It took a good 5min to have water brought and we declined on other drinks. We then waited until the table that was seated after us ordered, then our order was taken (an appetizer, a sandwich, and an entree salad). The brussel sprouts were huge, greasy, and had about 3 drops of glaze on half of them. The salad greens were not fresh and still watery enough there was a puddle in the bottom if the bowl, thus the dressing was very thinned and you couldn't taste it. The shredded lettuce in the sandwich was not fresh either. Red/brown lettuce is never good. It took a bit to get the check and pay as well. Overall, the staff were nice, but our waitress was not on the ball, the menu was meh, and the food lacked flavor and quality. If I'm spending $50 for two for lunch, i expect much better.
The heat was broken on a day when it was 27 out, so there’s that. I had to go get someone to wait on me after sitting there for ten minutes, but once someone came to take my order the service was good. The burger and fries were decent. The carrot cake was gross, dry and tasteless. There was a lot of something (dried out pineapple maybe?) that had the consistency of a sponge all throughout the “cake”. The worst thing was that the prices were almost double what they are online. The burger was $19! The online menu said $11. The most expensive burger I’ve had in my life and it was not worth it. I definitely won’t be returning. Thumbs down!
Went to Tavern last night for the first time and was a little disappointed. The atmosphere was nice, the staff was great, and there were a ton of TVs so I’m sure it would be a fun place to watch games, but I was really disappointed by the food, especially considering the price. I got the fish tacos and they were very bland. The rice that came with them was the same; it tasted like it was just cooked in tomato sauce and sprinkled with frozen veggies without any type of seasoning. My partner got the tequila chicken salad which was much more flavorful, but for $17.50 the portion was very small. We left a little hungry. The draft beer selection was also a bit small, especially for a place that calls itself a “tavern.” I’ll probably go back once more to try another dish, but I don’t think I got the experience I paid for in my first visit.
I am no fan of sports bars. We tried a seat on the roof deck to get away from the TVs, but even the roof deck had the game on speakers at a high volume. The food is serviceable bar food. Our waitress was very friendly.
Decent service but undercooked meat. I got sliders and they came out medium to medium rare. Which can be fine, so I asked if they ground their beef in house. Which was a no. Because of this, wouldn’t recommend you eating any beef products there as there is clearly food safety education that needs to happen All of that being said, I never said anything to the server as I didn’t want to cause a fuss. I appreciate the pressure food service is under so it’s possible it was a bad night. I will visit again but will not purchase any beef products until their staff is food safety verified.
$12 for this tiny drink? Asked for tequila and without asking they made my drink with the most expensive tequila they had😂 place is a rip off with subpar service….won’t be coming back
I've been here with my family a couple times, usually the service is spot on a the food is too, both of which is why we come here. However this time I was very disappointed with the service. Service is everything to us. We sat on the roof top as usual and there was a party going on in the upper portion of the roof. On the upper portion apparently smoking is allowed, but to my surprise the people on the lower level of the roof seemed to not care about the other guests or no smoking signs. Of course there was a nice gust of wind that blew the smoke right in my face during my entire meal. I proceeded to ask the waitress about the people smoking and she claimed it is allowed on the upper level and walked away. Not only was she rude about me asking she also took very long to bring me my second drink after telling me she would. We will not be coming back to this one until management takes care of this. Not impressed.
