A nice spot to grab a cup. Much cleaner and more friendly than the locations in Berkeley
A super alternative to other "big name" coffee shops! Friendly staff, clean restrooms, delicious coffees! My first time to visit, and only wish they had a location in Tulsa!
Peet's coffee has a great taste. The ambiance is just what you want. And they don't call in stormtroopers to whisk you off to jail even if you ask to use the restroom.
Anyone who even tries to compare Peet's to Starbucks doesn't get it.......no comparison. That said....I've never been to a Peet's I didn't love. True it's great when the staff is on the ball but ultimately the coffee is what makes it for me.
Excellent always! I would NEVER chose the competition when Pete's is close by, even if I had to go a bit farther. Rich, bold and always served with a smile! Thank you all and keep up the good work. 🌞
This shop has large indoor and outdoor space to sit. I enjoyed sitting outside under a tree canopy. Cafe I ordered was good too.
Ordering via the Peets app is so convenient. Park, order, go in and pick up! Never easier! Can earn points toward free drinks too! I love Peets!
Although the parking was a bit challenging at this downtown location, there was plenty of seating at tables inside (& outside), the restrooms were clean, and the drink service speedy & delightful. Worked out as a great meetup spot.
A great, local Peet's. Always has good service. Directly adjacent to the Livermorium park, so it's nice to eat outside on a sunny day.
Lovely staff and atmosphere. Food and drink has always been excellent with minimal wait. Great to sit and chat.
I LOVE Peet's Coffee! The staff is always friendly, the customer service is great, and the atmosphere is relaxing. The store is nice and clean with plenty of room to sit, relax, work, or chit chat with friends. The taste & quality of their coffee is wonderful. I like them so much more than Starbucks. Just wish they had more locations!
I usually meet up here with family or friends to get a small drink and or pastry. The atmosphere is talkative and enjoyable. The prices are right and the view is very nice because of the very large windows on two sides of the store. They have a very clean bathroom and the rest of the store is usually pretty quick clean! The workers are good at what they do and keep a nice conversation going while ordering. Come here for a hot cup of joe
Peet's Coffee is way better than Starbucks AND they have an all Vegan breakfast sandwich! Yes, the sausage patty, cheese, bread, and egg are all Vegan! Plus, if you're craving something sweet, they have a Vegan brownie too!
I don't go very often, but the staff treats me like a regular. They're always very friendly, and apologetic if the coffee is still brewing. Pricing is typical and contactless. Hours are typical and the location is great. I have no reason not to keep going.
These folks made my day. I had come in to grab some drinks and breakfast for myself and my wife while we work our booth, J-Boss Bakery, at the farmers market. My visit was great and the staff was friendly but as I started drinking my mocha at our booth, I realized my drink was made incorrectly and unfortunately wasn't able to continue drinking it due to my food sensitivity. Due to still being in the area, I decided to go back and see if they could remake my drink. After explaining the situation to them, the staff was so incredibly kind and apologetic, more than any coffee shop I've been to (this situation happens quite often in general). I've asked some coffee shops to remake drinks for me and some would have the audacity to ask if I was sure it was made incorrectly or even call me a liar. Not here. There was no judgment, no questions asked, and they remade my drink perfectly. As someone who's been a barista at multiple establishments including Peet's, I understand mistakes can happen especially in a rush. Thank you to the team that helped me out and I appreciate your kindness. 10/31/2021@ 9:40 AM
This is a great location and the shop itself is a good size with plenty of seats. It's very quiet there, which is a nice relaxing spot for coffee. Or, if you want to take it out, it's super close to downtown so you can walk around easy.
We come here regularly to meet and speak German or speak Spanish on Wednesdays and the staff is lovely. The coffee drinks are amazing. Thank you Peet's.
I've been coming here since I moved to Livermore. Of the larger coffee chains, I've always preferred Peet's, and this one is exceptional in staff and location. I love how convenient it is to grab a coffee and stroll around downtown in the morning. The outdoor seating is nice (adjacent to the town square), with a pleasant view.
Always have liked peets- today I messed up my order, I asked for a matcha latte meaning it to be iced. The kind barista remade my drink for me as I apologized many times, but they never made me feel bad for my mix up. Peets>Starbucks
Great atmosphere, excellent seating, and always, terrific service. The coffee here is the best and I have never had a bad drink made. I've been going here for years and will go out of my way to grab a coffee here over other shops.
The have a really good space in here. A nice long high bar with stools that helps to split the line from the sitting area. Great music and Taylor is a barista who is both knowledgeable and friendly. I don't normally go to Peet's but when I do this is the one.
Come try the new beverages!! So dang good! Sparkling Passion Fruit BlackTea, omg 🤤 Also! Have you tried the Chicken chorizo flatbread?! It’s amazing! I order it every time!!!
Five stars for Rich taking orders! He’s so sweet and so kind. My app was giving me problems (honestly Peet’s please work on this app!!) but he was so wonderful helping me get through it and not get flustered with the LONG line behind me. He’s a keeper. Coffees great too!
My favorite “coffee chain” coffee shop. I’ll almost always go for black coffee and there is always a unique blend on the menu. They make blended drinks as well but if you enjoy good brewed coffee, this is the place. I never get a “burnt” cup or anything that isn’t fresh. Staff readily offers to make a new batch if it’s even close. As far as staff goes, excellent customer service and friendly people (especially the early morning group). The shop itself is cozy, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating but parking can be a pain during mealtimes and evenings. Good atmosphere good service and great coffee!
I've been coming here for about 2 years sence I got a job here in town. This is my favorite Peets coffee of all. Thank you so much for your kind and welcoming everytime come in.

Dropped in before going to the Bankhead in Livermore. Nice tables and chairs, not loud but it was very wet. The floor the counters. Maybe we came in after a crowd and they hadn't had time to clean up. I'll go again. Had green tea and it was good. Kinda expensive but nice seating outside in warm weather.
Nice coffee shop. Peet’s always has good coffee. One way they can still improve is to add shaded outdoor seating. I wonder if Livermore would allow it.
I bought a tin of tea and ordered oatmeal for breakfast. The tea was "Pride of the Port", a long time favorite from the "pre-Mighty Leaf" days when Peets carried their own excellent teas. The service was very good at a very busy 8:45 am time. The oatmeal was good although the blueberries were dried. The oatmeal was either rolled or quick, not steel-cut, but much better than instant.
Livermore only has one, therefore it IS busy. However, staffing has never been better since Anne left to Main St USA (Pleasanton x3 stores as well as San Ramon, Dublin x1), and even on an early Sat. Morning. This was around 0730. Maybe 530 is less customers when they open. Big big coffee filters you could wear upside down as a summer sun hat. Funny. But not the smell! Even their standard roast smells great. Try the hot Oatmeal. It's a blend not your average cup of Joe, seriously. If not your brew, try the Snow Leopard if you want a slower weekend up, not a jolt-it's a White Tea. Not floral alike Jasmine but delicate. Nice! This layout here seems to work. Getting condiments (including milks- yes x3 diff pourers), albeit no coconut, almond or soy here- take a visit at the end to the barista bar and request. Usually acomodated the more than 50 times I have been at this location over the past decade. So forget the airport drive thru. Try here in downtown. Ask for a receipt and just might recieve a survey with it. Next time 1.00 off your order
The gentleman that took our order was friendly and most courteous. My only complaint is that the beverages took too long to prepare. By the time the beverages were ready, our heated breakfast was tepid.
Nice shop, good coffee and staff. My only critique is that sometimes it takes really long to get a drink. I know it is not their fault (the same thing happens at Starbucks), but I think they get inundated with mobile orders sometimes and it feels like they are scrambling to fulfill those mobile orders before they can make drinks for the people standing in the store in person.
So, I like Pete's. I don't love it, but mostly because I really prefer a lighter roasted coffee. I know, most people prefer dark roast, (see EVERY coffee bean sold at Costco) but it's just not my preference as even their medium roast is pretty much just dark roast. Otherwise, it's a nice place in a nice location and the coffee is good, just for me, requires a lot of additions to make it tolerable. Still better than Starbucks.
Livermore location seemed a little slow for "team to customer ratio". The drinks are made accurately and the espresso is delicious. With only 2 locations in the Trivalley (Dublins under remodel) its your time to shine. Peets was in my top 3 and is slipping.
Stopped here for some coffee while walking around South Livermore. I saw that they had Havana Cappuccino (that has cinnamon and condensed milk in it). I figured I would try it out as it was something I have never had before. I wasn't sure what to expect but I guess it was a little underwhelming, though I was still glad I tried it. At least now I know that it is not something I would try again. My husband just had latte but he was underwhelmed as well. At least we had the chance to try out Peet's Coffee. (This visit was almost four months ago)

First time here, good service and quality App rewards are good 😊 Only one restroom and code needed
Really love the vibe of the cafe on week days . I know at weekend , it’s crowded . But if you are one of those people who need good space for reading 📖/ work along with great coffee then that’s the place
I love this peet's location. They are always friendly and make sure to get your order just right. And even today today they were running behind my coffee still was ready in time and I wasn't late for my pedicure appointment 👍🏽!!

Disappointed that my premium coffee is served in a paper cup. I prefer drinking coffee in a ceramic cup. What happened to PEETS? I’ve been a fan since 1983.
Coffees fine, just be prepared to wait 20 plus minutes and remind them what they forgot to make. Avoid the chicken waffle sandwich at all costs I don't think this should be consumed by humans...
Customer service could have been better. Not my favorite Peet's but the only one near me. I hope these guys like working there cause it sure doesn't seem like it sometimes. Gave three stars cause I like the coffee.
The good - the people who work here are friendly and efficient at getting your order. The bad- there was a spill that was there before we got there. The trash was overflowing. They put up a caution sign, but the soil was still there and trash had not been emptied when we left. We spent about 30 minutes there. The bathroom was in desperate need of attention. There was paper all over the floor, no paper towels for hand drying, trash overflowing. I have not been to this Peet's in a couple years and was surprised at how bad it had gotten.
This particular Pete’s had put way too much oat milk in my latte. So much so it tasted like chalk. I was unable to finish my drink and I am very disappointed and will probably will not go back any time soon.
I normally do not care how awkward I am, but this place made me feel so out of place. I'm not racist. I'm not antisocial, but I open the door and everybody stared at me. I was the only colored person in there like I said, normally I do not care about that, but when everybody gives you a dirty look and nobody helps you. That just makes everything completely awkward. I didn't know where the heck to order my drink. And I asked the guy and he stared at me, and he's like, I guess I could help you over here. There was no line I was trying to figure out what drink it was that I was looking for luckily I had a picture. He didn't even try to help me what it could be....I LOVE PEETS COFFEE...this place not so much....Noone said hi. No one said thank you. Didn't even say my name (like why did you ask for my name then....) of course next two people got a greeting and soneone prior name called...I don't know if it's because I haven't had my coffee but I'm never going to that peets again (btw I order drinks from door dash often never been in store)
I'm currently Door Dashing and absolutely hideous that I've been sitting here for Twenty minutes waiting for my customers order. The lady next to me also concurs because as you can see from the photo's the store is empty. This has raised my mood level to steaming. WAIT WAIT 30 Min. has come and gone. What a bunch of time wasted. Any orders that pop up on my screen for Peet's I will definitely decline to take the order:-( next time around.

Yesterday I ordered a cup of coffee through the app. For some reason it did not show up in the store . I showed the the cashier I was charged for my coffee the charge stated it happened 5 mins ago. The manager made me feel that I was an lie an I was trying to get free coffee. It was embarrassing It was terrible customer service we we’re going back an fourth for an minute until the barista asked me what I ordered. Even when I told the barista she still gave me an hard time because I said I wanted it upside down not thinking only Starbucks does that . She seemed she had an attitude an was very upset. I am an regular customer their an that was terrible they have always given me great customer service....until yesterday
Update: "due to Covid bathroom is closed." No excuses, horrible customer service. Had to walk all the way to the gas station after purchasing a drink. Best coffee in town (besides mine ;) chill and relaxing environment. I'm glad they still play classical and jazz. I'm tired of hearing rock and pop at Starbucks.
Their espresso is something beyond disgusting, a blasphemy for my italian palate. Unfortunately that is pretty average for Livermore standards. Staff however is friendly and nice. Difficult to park nearby. Overall, I'm not going there again.
"Large caramel mocha with whip cream please." Seems simple right? But time and time again this location fails to complete the basic order correctly. Today was the last time. Honestly, Starbucks never messes up my order. This location, just amazing how badly they listen and/or make drinks. Meh.
Super bad service. Her name was ila. We were the ones to greet her and she didn’t even bother to respond. She had made a big face the whole time. Got our order all wrong and still had an attitude like i was being paid to take her nonsense. She really needs to fix her attitude to work around people. Never coming back
