Lunchtime stop off when we found this place at random. The food is unbeatable, especially the espresso. My visit was totally unplanned; I only came into town to buy a frying pan and am now enjoying a fabulous burrito. There's an awesome view from up here, we can see from Southport to Eryri. There must be some breathtaking sunsets from up here. Full Recommendation without reservation.
Fantastic experience at 350 Sky Bar! The views are absolutely stunning, especially at night, creating the perfect atmosphere to relax and enjoy a drink. The cocktails were great, the ambiance was stylish, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Definitely a must-visit spot for a memorable night out!
Both the bar near reception & the 360 bar are fabulous. Great staff, very attentive and lots of choice. The views from the 360 bar are great and nice that it's open to residents slightly later. We've booked already to stay at the hotel again and look forward to enjoying it all over.
The best venue in Liverpool for views, food and cocktails but what makes this venue extra special is the standout service from Hayley and her team who always go above and beyond to make you feel welcome.
WOW - You can see across the whole of the city of Liverpool. Then come the evening the sunsets are immense as well as seeing the city in lights. We were in awe of the view. Next day we headed up for light dinner instead of the beautiful Gino D Acampo restaurant downstairs. Food was OK - wine was deliciously chilled. Staff were very helpful and friendly. It was a nice change. We ventured out onto the terrace outside. You really don't want to miss a visit here - even just for the view.
We booked a table in advance, and as soon as we walked in, we were seated right away, which was a great start to the evening. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and we immediately felt comfortable. We decided to go all out and ordered a starter, main course, dessert, and a selection of cocktails. When it came to choosing cocktails, we were a bit indecisive, as there were so many great options on the menu. Noticing this, the manager kindly offered us a cocktail to try completely on the house alongside the ones we had already picked. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and to our surprise, we ended up loving the recommendation so much that we ordered more of it throughout the evening! The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The service was excellent, with food arriving promptly and beautifully presented. Every dish was full of flavor and cooked to perfection, making the entire dining experience even more enjoyable. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We’ll definitely be returning! 🙏🏼
We recently stayed at INNSiDE by Meliá Liverpool and visited the 360 Sky Bar during our visit. There had been a slight mix-up with our room – nothing to do with the Sky Bar – but we ended up speaking with the Sky Bar Manager, Hayley who had warmly greeted us on our arrival. She truly went above and beyond for us. We had been given some drinks tokens as a goodwill gesture, and we asked if we could have something other than Prosecco, as we were hoping for soft drinks instead. When I explained to Hayley why we’d been given the tokens – even though the issue had nothing to do with her or her team – she took the time to really listen and understand what had happened. Hayley then went out of her way to speak with the hotel management to see what could be done to make our stay special. Again, this wasn’t something she needed to do – it wasn’t her department – but she genuinely cared and wanted to help in any way she could. She made our daughter’s 21st birthday incredibly special and memorable – she absolutely spoiled her and made her feel like a VIP. We went on to have some cocktails which were delicious and the desserts here are so good too! Views from here are stunning, especially at sunset. Hayley is an absolute credit to the Sky Bar and the hotel. Her hospitality skills are exceptional, and her team is clearly a reflection of her brilliant leadership. We felt truly looked after, and she turned a frustrating situation into a really positive experience. Thank you, Hayley – you made all the difference!
Great views of Liverpool and great service especially from Orrin and Ismael who made my sons birthday that more special. Would recommend going and having a cocktail while taking in the views. Will definitely go back. Cocktails and Dreams is what its all about
We booked a meal here. At first we thought we had booked to be seated in the restaurant at the top of the building but found this was only for a small selection of foods. We were able though to go up there and take a few photos of the view before heading back down for our dinner on the first floor. We ordered the selection of breads for starters and then had a calzone and the lasagna. All dishes were so delicious and we throughly enjoyed our meals and it has to be one of the best meals we have ever had. I had an alcoholic free cocktail which was also really good and refreshing. Prices were so reasonable for this restaurant and we were surprised at the total bill as we thought it would be a lot more for this type of restaurant. Service by staff was also friendly and very professional. We would definitely eat here again when we are back in the area and will highly recommend this restaurant to others.
What a place! We visited on our first night in the city and were blown away by the food and service. Our waitress, Amy, was brilliant. She recommended places to visit and things to do during our city break, and we managed to tick off most of her suggestions. A massive thank you to her for the fantastic recommendations. The food was delicious, with great flavors and perfectly sized portions. We also tried some cocktails and highly recommend the Gino Martini and the Gino and the Giant Peach. Definitely give this place a try!
My daughter gave my mum and I a voucher for high tea at Gino's sky bar. I couldn't get a date within the time frame of my voucher due to other commitments. The staff were so helpful and extended the expiry dare by a week. I was impressed with the food, the atmosphere and the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. My mum is nearly 84 and was treated so kindly. I loved the space and decor, and had a very enjoyable relaxing afternoon. Thank you
The experience at sky bar is exceptional. The restaurant is beautifully laid out, the tall large glass windows with the bird’s eye of the city is truly exceptional. The staff are polite and courteous. Do try the Tiramisu there, it needs a special mention, it was supremely well done. The food and amped up cocktails marry very well with the ambience and the vibe of the whole place. Me and my husband had a memorable experience there on our first wedding anniversary.
The food was so delicious. The cocktails were delicious too. The Italian female waitstaff was very attentive and very friendly. Our orders came timely and well-prepared.
Beautiful restaurant, very efficient staff. Delicious food. Great atmosphere. Then went up in the sky bar, panoramic views. Amazing place to drink
What a fabulous experience from start to finish!!!!! We booked very last minute for a 40th birthday celebration as had change of mind of where to go…. We’ll we had a lovely table and an even lovelier server (Jan) from the very beginning she made us feel so welcome and was so friendly!! The drinks esp the cocktails were amazing and the food was really really good!! Calzone was exceptionally good!!! Service was fast but attentive and the icing on the cake (literally) was Jan bring out two cakes slices with candles in for my friend and I (total auto sue but such a nice thought) - loved every minute of it and would recommend to many!!!
My partner and I recently stayed at the INNSiDE by Meliá hotel in Liverpool and had the absolute pleasure of dining at Gino D’Acampo Restaurant for three consecutive days – and what a treat it was from start to finish! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. We enjoyed both the à la carte menu and the set menu, and every dish we tried was absolutely delicious. The quality of the food was consistently high, and the portion sizes were generous – perfect for food lovers like us! A huge highlight of our experience was the incredible service from the team. We were looked after each day by Pablo and Francesco, who were both professional, friendly, and genuinely attentive. They made every meal enjoyable and relaxing, striking the perfect balance between excellent service and down-to-earth charm. A massive thank you to Pablo, who went above and beyond to make my birthday (on our final day) truly special. From a lovely lunch to a late dinner celebration, he made the whole day feel unforgettable – we couldn’t have asked for more! We’d also love to give a shoutout to the young gentleman behind the bar (we didn’t catch his name, unfortunately) – he was super friendly and crafted some excellent drinks that perfectly complemented our meals. This restaurant is a real gem in Liverpool, and we can’t recommend it highly enough. We’ll definitely be back on our next visit!
Gino's is an excellent choice for a work gathering. The restaurant's lovely ambiance creates a perfect setting for both socializing and enjoying a meal. The food is top-notch, offering a range of delicious dishes that cater to various tastes. The menu's diversity and quality ensure that everyone in the group finds something they love. The service is attentive and efficient, making the dining experience smooth and enjoyable. Gino's combines great food with a welcoming atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for any professional event. Highly recommended!
Beautiful food, highly recommended the afternoon tea!! Happily made my mum (who doesn't like salmon) something different with no hassle. Everything was freshly made you could see it being prepared, happily refilled tea pot with hot water. I would go back! 😍 feels so luxurious.
Always content after a visit to Ginos. I have been quite a few times now and honestly never fails to please me. This time I came in with my good friend and The service is always great as the staff are very attentive and we was well looked after. The food was beautiful and the drinks just as delicious. Thank you again to the team especially Tia! I will definitely be in again soon! Highly recommend then bruschetta and the Calamari is probably some of the nicest I have ever Tasted!! I would have given 6 stars if I could. Thank you all !!
Our waiter Mubariz and barman Martin were very welcoming. Even though we had not booked they gave us a window seat and suggested a few food choices. We had a few cocktails, some lovely food and nice chats. Would definitely visit again. Mo and Martin are a credit to the company.
We had a lovely meal here recently, wonderful service with helpful recommendations. Highly recommend trying the tuna tartare, a new addition to their menu! We had a wonderful sirloin too! Lovely atmosphere and beautiful restaurant.
We initially came for tea and much was exceptional. I just want to express how wonderful our entire experience was and how the staff truly went above and beyond for us. The recommendations we received, along with the warm and friendly service, especially from a lovely woman named Tia, made it even more special. She was exceptional! Thank you once again for such a memorable experience. We’ll definitely be returning very soon!
Awesome location, especially on a lovely summers evening watching the sunset. The views across the whole of Liverpool and beyond are superb. Good food and drink selection priced as expected. Well worth a visit
We had the most amazing experience at this bar. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, in particular Brendan who was lovely - an absolute credit to this place. The views were amazing and the bar very stylish. The array of cocktails to choose from were fantastic. Brendan recommended a few cocktails to us that were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back. Great night out those looking for a classy and fun night out.
We really enjoyed our evening at Gino's. The restaurant is very modern and spacious, with a relaxed atmosphere. The staff were very attentive and accomodating. We had a selection of dishes, all of which were well cooked, with generous portions. The menu is fairly extensive, offering pasta, pizza and other Italian dishes, with a variety of deserts. Gino's also had a good selection of accompanying wines and cocktails.
Excellent top class service staff highly experienced in my view, lovely selection of drinks, views amazing well worth a visit also cocktails were amazing.
We had my mum’s 50th birthday and we had the best night of our lives thanks to Ismael and Elliot Ismael and his manager Elliot went above and beyond for us. Isma was really charismatic and took our order really promptly, while also advising us of what the best drinks are. He was so funny as well, he made my mum laugh which is really hard to do. He was busy on other tables too, but it was like he was everywhere at once. Like an omnipresent ghost that gets you alcohol and food. We appreciated that because we were so hungry at one point, and he recommended the prawn bruschetta. We ordered it and it came so fast!!! And it was delicious. Thanks to Ismael we had the best night of our lives and we cannot understate how good of a waiter he is. His performance is unparalleled, and his skills unmatched by any other waiter I’ve ever come across. There is no one like Ismael, and good thing he’s working where he is, because he is 100% driving sales up. Make sure you compensate him appropriately. Anyway I would recommend this place as long as Ismael is in, you will not regret it.
Lupe was amazing! Super friendly and made sure we were taken care of throughout the evening. The drinks were on point, and the staff was quick, even when the place got busy. I’ll be returning to. Highly recommend it!
From when walking in we had a warm welcome from all the staff which was a great start to the evening, me and my partner came to liverpool for the first time and decided to try ginos 360 sky bar out and are we glad we did!! Great atmosphere and great drinks. Shame we didn't get food this visit but we are already planning our next visit as it looked delicious. Our server said he was new I think it was T, you'd not think he was new, very funny and made the night that bit better!! Thank you for having us and can't wait to be back
We had a fantastic experience at Gino D’Acampo Restaurant Liverpool. The décor and the restaurant itself are absolutely beautiful — stylish, welcoming, and with a really lovely atmosphere. One thing I really appreciated was how well spaced out the tables are; it made the whole experience feel relaxed and comfortable rather than cramped. The staff were so friendly and attentive from the moment we arrived, and the cocktails were delicious. We started by sharing the garlic bread, which was honestly the nicest garlic bread we’ve ever had. It was so good that just before the mains we decided to order another — we couldn’t resist. For my main, I had the lasagne with truffle fries, and it was hands down the nicest meal I’ve ever had. Absolutely incredible. I was completely full, but there was no way the meal could end there. For dessert, I had the chocolate fondant and it was to die for — perfectly cooked, melt-in-your-mouth, and pure indulgence. All I need to say is: YOU HAVE TO GO THERE. IT’S SENSATIONAL.
Honestly exceptional! Food and service second to non, Lozka in particular was attentive, engaging and nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant is modern and has a very welcoming atmosphere, it's laid back and service was not rushed. Thoroughly enjoyable evening. We ordered the T Bone sharer, but we're spoilt for choice really, took a while to decide. The meat was cooked to perfection, seasoning and sauces, amazing and we couldn't leave the delicious veg even though we were full! If only 6 stars were an option! We will be back, Thank you for a special and memorable birthday night
Lovely views. Server was amazing and very accommodating. Cocktails were good, not the best but they make off menu too which is nice.
360 sky bar is sublime, atmosphere is fantastic and service was second to none. the restaurant on the ground floor was a stunning place but the food was mediocre at best. sorry but it was.
"Pushed the boat out" for a celebratory meal. It was a nice, trendy, place. Server was excellent. Atmosphere was noisy and seating was a bit "laid back" for my taste (too low). The food was acceptable, nothing outstanding by Liverpool's excellent restaurant standards. It was expensive for what you got, by any standard, and the wine was outrageous. Good experience, but I'll not be going back as there are much better choices in the city.
It was Grand National weekend , but service was a little slow ,our person looking after us was Jan who was brilliant , I think she just had too many tables which is an establishment management issue as we dined at a competitor the next night and service was better. Still a great experience and one of the best whisky sours I've had in a while.
This rooftop bar rides mainly on the name of the owner, because there isn’t much else really going on. The 360 degree view is really over hyped, unless you’re into watching neighboring rooftops. The decor is modern and , unfortunately the staff are not really up to scratch. I mean the person manning the entrance was clear, “this is a bar with food”, but when a server delivers a dish and he has no clue what he’s serving, goes back to ask what he just delivered and returns with the wrong name of dish, it doesn’t augur well. I guess good people are hard to find, though high prices are rather easy to charge. Not to mention other gaffes like serving wine without asking us to sample it or pouring the second bottle straight into the glasses on the table. Did I mention the tatty menus? It wasn’t a great experience- I like the guy’s TV shows, but wasn’t impressed with his bar operation in Liverpool.
Cool, open plan dining, really festive atmosphere & serenaded by Arsenal fans before a match! Team were receptive, but of confusion regarding the BF festive menu. Starters not great TBH, Calamari batter bland and greasy, Arancini balls not great-over cooked rice and molten plastic cheese sauce. The pizza base was undercooked, sent it back to get crisped up and was much more tasty. My steak was served MR and not MW as requested- was very pink as my sons was MW and looked much different but a really good cut of meat and really tasty as were the sides. My wife loved the sea bass, we ordered garlic bread side which never came, so instead ordered Bruschetta- again was really looking forward to trying this- bread was beautiful but the tomatoes were watery, tasteless, un seasoned and definitely no garlic or basil flavour was detected. The deserts were top quality, esp chic cheesecake with cherry sauce. We asked for the bill and were a bit suprised, the team had not applied the BF discount and we were overcharged by £70. We had this amended and I paid the optional service charge as the team were actually very attentive, could maybe just show more diligence when adding transactions to till and taking food cooking instruction. Overall we did have a good day out but the attention to details and flavours could have been better considering we spent >£260 for 2 adults and 3 kids
My wife and I went here two nights ago for the first time to celebrate the very recent birth of our grandson. After a very disappointing start up in the 360 bar where we had one pre dinner drink that has now been reviewed elsewhere , we descended to the main restaurant for our meal. The multi ethnic staff ( mainly Spanish ) were smartly dressed, well groomed, polite and attentive and should be congratulated. We took advantage of the January food offer and on the whole the Chateaubriand did not disappoint, the meat and vegetables were very good although the sauces were quite watery and a bit of a let down. When it came to the small fixed dessert menu , our orders were taken , only for the waiter to return to say that there was no crème brûlée. I had also ordered the only available desert wine and the drinks waiter then returned to say that there was none available and no alternative . We had booked to eat early at 6.15 pm and for the life of me I cannot understand why the dessert and drink were not available at such an early part of the evening. Out choice of wine was the cheapest , the red table wine priced at £28 plus 10% service charge and it was disappointing. Finally , my wife sat on the bench seating and discovered that there was little or no stuffing to the padded seats where she was sitting and she had to swop seats with me as she felt most uncomfortable and the chair was comfier. I can corroborate her comments about the padded or lack of padded , bench seating , it was ridiculous. So in conclusion , a mixed review but we will go back.
Honestly I loved the food, the service was pretty good. Great atmosphere. On a whole a fabulous time. One BUT, we were under a speaker that was broken and this was such a shame, the music being played was great but from a broken speaker!!! It was bloody annoying… still that was the only negative and so overall so glad we went and gave this place a go. Definitely worth it for the food & views 🫶🏼
We were gifted an Afternoon Tea Voucher and the sandwiches were awful - The bread was hard and there was no filling in the cucumber or egg sandwich. Maybe because we had a voucher as we saw other Afternoon Teas with a lot more filling!! Service was poor. We were shown to our table on arrival and was not served until 20 minutes after we tried asking for assistance and after complaining to the front desk. We were given a round of drinks on the house from the manager downstairs who overheard the complaint and then promised we would be looked after. Complimentary Drinks took a while to arrive and the kids hot chocolate were served in inappropriate cups that could’ve burnt their hands. We ordered 3 coffees and it took over 30 mins to arrive…1st excuse was that they ran out of milk and then when we asked again the waiter came over and told us they didn’t have our order!!! We moved to more comfortable seating when we finished the Afternoon Tea and asked the waitress to bring the kids hot chocolates over and this didn’t happen but we just didn’t bother to raise this. Overall experience was disappointing. Service was very poor especially since I have come from the hospitality business. However, the views of Liverpool were amazing.
Stayed in the hotel which is absolutely perfect, we ate food in ginos restaurant which other than the starters the mains were really poor and very expensive. Very disappointed as were the couple next to us. We then headed upto the sky bar, were seated and waited 10 minutes for our server to take order. I finished my drink well before my partner and sat for another 30 minutes with no drink waiting to be served again. No bar service available only table. All the tables around us were sat with no drinks with nobody seeming to serve our side of the bar at all. Really was very disappointing just like the restaurant. Sad really as I’ve probably wrote 2-3 reviews in my life but the food and the sky bar experience really quite ruined our anniversary. There just didn’t seem to be anyone working the bar at all. Again the hotel is perfect, just wish ginos followed suite and it would be the place to visit in the city
Nice rooftop setting and the view is okay, but the overall experience was very disappointing. The staff seemed uninterested and not keen to help. We asked three different staff members to move to empty tables near the window and were repeatedly told it wasn’t possible or that they were booked, but no one could properly explain why. When I mentioned I couldn’t see any option to book window tables, they just said they would “double check” with no follow-up. The food was extremely small for the price. Plates were £16–17 each and we paid £82 in total but still left hungry and ended up going for takeaway afterwards. The quality was also poor and honestly quite unpleasant. The bruschetta tasted like salty tomato paste. Nice idea for a venue, but the service and food really let it down. Wouldn’t recommend it for dining.
We arrived and were seated by a very friendly and helpful member of staff (with colourful hair) who greeted us in the lift and brought us promptly to a very nice seat with a great view, sadly she didn’t serve us. A few minutes later we were moved by another member of staff, to a much smaller table with a restricted view. Following that, I found service to be quite slow, and noted a few faults with the unisex WC, including an obstructed smoke detector and broken lock.
Didn’t think I would leave a bad review until I had a friend share a bad experience too. Food options are very bland not much choice but not too bad as it’s a bar. Mainly though staff were rude and unprofessional , because we camme for our reservation for our anniversary dinner and they told us we had to sit away from everyone in the ‘worser’ corner because my partner was wearing apparently sports jacket ( he was wearing black too and black pants it was just the jacket he was holding) they said they would serve us one round which was fine but the fact the menu had nothing appetising , drinks were alright it’s just the way they looked at you and made us feel like we had to say ‘ I can pay I have the money you know ‘. Recently my friend went there for her boyfriends birthday and the staff laughed and made jokes because her boyfriend looked young even though he had his ID and money , took the oiss so long they left and didn’t even have anything. I think this behaviour is stuck up it’s not following and policies or procedures in my eyes and turns people away as soon as they come check in ? It’s not that high end of a place they make it out to be. Edit : shared my experience and a girl who worked there for a day and ended up walking out because staff were smoking weed and rolling joints in the kitchen. Clearly not high end and not up to hygiene standards there BEST be some regulatory body coming in and making a lot of changes. Oh and let’s not forget to mention the male staff were asking for a hotel with this young girl on her first day working there. All I have to say is one bad review may mean nothing but multiple made me write this !!! Awful
We arrived after dining in the restaurant downstairs and a lovely lady with colourful hair sat us in a very nice table looking at the river. After 5 min, deciding our drinks, a very rude woman with blonde hair decided to move us to a worse table, just because she wanted (she said that they were booked, but the tables were empty for the whole time).
I usually love the Melia brand and work closely with them across my travel socials, so I know the value of consistency and quality — which is why last night at Gino D’Acampo Liverpool was so disappointing. I’ve been a loyal customer for years, and it used to be one of my favourite restaurants. Our food arrived before our drinks, which immediately felt disorganised. When the pasta arrived, it tasted off, so we sent it back expecting a fresh, properly prepared dish. Shockingly, when it returned, it was exactly the same. After a second attempt, we had no choice but to send it back again and leave. I’ve sent and booked so many customers here in the past, and after this experience, I will be sincere in considering other options. This wasn’t a minor issue it was a clear failure in kitchen standards and service. Loyal customers and brand advocates deserve far better, and I hope the team takes serious action to improve.
I've reserved judgement until now but this place really is unworthy of your presence. After visiting several times now, I can safely say the service in the upstairs Sky Bar is appalling. They call it table service but then determinedly refuse to visit your table to take your order. You can't simply order at the bar, but you can approach the single computer screen at the bar and wait for one of the disinterested wait staff to drag themselves away from their conversations to take your order. It then takes 20 minutes for your drinks to come. To give some perspective, 1 beer and 1 Havana Club and coke, this took 20 minutes to make. The bar was dead, fully half the tables were empty and yet it still took this long to pour two simple drinks. One of our party had booked in advance, 2 tables, near the DJ, for 20 of us. Imagine the confusion when we arrived to only 1 table for all of us, standing filling the aisle. When the table next to us was vacated and became available we spread out to this, only to be told this table, the one we had reserved but they hadn't kept, had been reserved by a group of 5, and we had to leave. Can safely say we will take our business elsewhere, where the management aren't amateurs. Elsewhere the restaurant was ok, for the sake of fairness. Service is better downstairs, albeit the atmosphere is dreary in the restaurant. I can make a better Carbonara than that.
I recently visited 360 Sky Bar for Valentine’s Day, expecting a romantic and enjoyable evening, but unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience from start to finish. When we arrived, we were simply pointed towards our table rather than being properly seated, which immediately set the tone for the evening. We then waited around 30 minutes without being served, while other guests who arrived after us were seated and attended to before us. Eventually, we had to ask to be served ourselves. Even after ordering, our drinks still hadn’t arrived 45 minutes later. As we were already very hungry from the long wait, we ordered food with our first round of drinks. We chose four dishes, including olives (which I would normally expect to be served promptly alongside drinks but did not arrive until an hour after ordering). Shortly after ordering, the waiter informed us one of our choices was out of stock, so we selected an alternative. He then returned again to tell us that the replacement dish was also unavailable. We then picked another dish to be told that was also unavailable. However, our first option had come back in stock. I completely understand that Valentine’s Day is an extremely busy night and that staff are under pressure, but the level of disorganisation was unacceptable. Our food finally began arriving separately around 10 minutes in between each other. This was an hour and a half after we had first arrived — and even then, my dish was missing. My boyfriend ate his meal and his plate was cleared before mine had even arrived. As well as this, the plates were basically “launched” on the table. Being at an expensive restaurant I do expect a waiter to come over an ask if everything was ok. That didn’t happen. To make matters worse, we were then told that the table was needed back in five minutes as the table reservation is only an hour and a half long — at which point I still hadn’t received my food. When I pointed out that my dish hadn’t arrived, I was asked, “If I can get it out in five minutes, do you still want it?” By then the evening had been completely ruined, so I declined and asked for it to be removed from the bill. To be fair, the waiter was understanding at that point and removed both my dish and the service charge. However, the final bill still came to £65 for four drinks, olives, bread, and a ragu dish that consisted of just five small parcels of ravioli. Overall, it was extremely poor service and very disappointing value for money. What was meant to be a lovely, romantic Valentine’s evening ended up being stressful and frustrating. Sadly, I wouldn’t return or recommend it based on this experience.I recently visited 360 Sky Bar for Valentine’s Day, expecting a romantic and enjoyable evening, but unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience from start to finish.
Not a warm welcome. Arrived to be halted at the door and questioned on our table reservation. We didn’t have one and were quickly ushered to the least desirable spot in the bar, with a strict time limit in our stay. I persuaded my wife to at least have a stroll around the bar and check out the view but we were quickly told it was table service and my wife was again, ushered back to the table. I did a quick lap discovering lots of space in far more suitable areas but when I returned to my wife she felt very obliged to stay seated. We didn’t order anything and left. I understand it’s a popular spot but a simple drink, stood at the bar with a nice view was all we wanted.
Six of us went last Sunday. View was fantastic but everything else was poor. We had been to the original Gino's in Castle street last year and we walked out after waiting nearly an hour for a starter. So we thought we would give them another chance. One waitress on duty, we waited 20 mins for someone to come to the table , we ordered the drinks & another 15 mins past to no avail. So we went upto the bar ourselves to get them. Ordered the Tapas Meatballs at c£15 a pop (you get six ) which to be fair were quite nice but not hot in the middle. After wasting nearly 3 hours there ( most of which were waiting for drinks) & spending c£300 we couldn't wait to leave. Unfortunately this again is another Hino flop - Our advice stay away !!
