Un restaurante donde todo está buenísimo y te lo quieres pedir todo. Tienen bien informado los alérgenos y tienen opciones para todos. El servicio es muy atento y el restaurante es muy bonito. Hay que reservar si o si por qué si no puede ser que te quedes sin sitio. Vale la pena comer aquí.

Una experiencia fantástica, con unas vistas espectaculares que hacen la comida todavía más especial. La calidad de los platos es excelente, todo muy cuidado y sabroso. Each plate was beautifully presented, but more importantly, the flavors were perfectly tuned: fresh, bold, and deeply satisfying. The quality of the ingredients was outstanding, and the chefs clearly know how to take Japanese cuisine to a whole new level while respecting tradition. The set menu was a flawless journey, building in intensity and surprise with every course. One moment you’re savoring delicate textures, the next you’re hit with a wave of umami that makes you close your eyes just to focus on how good it tastes. It was adventurous without ever being pretentious, and generous without ever feeling rushed. The service was warm, attentive, and completely in sync with the flow of the meal. And let’s not forget the setting: overlooking the sea in Llafranc, with that laid-back Mediterranean charm, it’s hard to imagine a more perfect backdrop for such extraordinary food. Far Nomo isn’t just a restaurant—it’s an experience. If you love Japanese cuisine (or honestly, if you just love food), this place will blow you away. Amazing location, amazing food, amazing service. It is a must if in the area. Pre booking is essential. Only negative is the desserts. Best avoided and fill up on the sushi. Best dish I had was no 28 "inoshishi no nikomi harumaki" (picture attached)

A beautiful and historic setting for a high-end sushi bistro. Lively, which means it can be loud when the tables fill. Maybe not the best place for a romantic dinner. The expansive menu needs to be studied before you sit down to avoid being blinded by choice. The special menu is appealing and great value BUT you may wind up buried in food. Ordering is by magnetic pegs on a numbered board. Excellent wine list that coordinated well with sushi. Very reasonably priced. Beer available. The food was extremely creative and artistically presented. It was considerably different than the sushi I enjoyed on a number of trips to Japan. I found some otherwise yummy sounding items flooded with sauce, the Ebi Chilli and the Maguro Tataki: just too much of a good thing. Favourites included the grilled Avocado Salad, the mini Maguro Taco and the salmon and scallop Hokkai Pepper Roll

My favourite spot in Llafranc, both Mar & Far are beautiful but Far is amazing with its incredible view. The tasting menu remains outstanding value for money and all food is delicious. My husband has a sensitivity to shellfish which he let them know and they went above and beyond to accommodate this. Loyalty programme also seems great, finally signed up for it on this trip.

Set on top of a hill in a converted lighthouse. Been here a couple of times and would more than happy to come back. We go for the set menu which at Euro 50 is a bargain. Very relaxed, great service. One of our party recently discovers an allergy to prawns, they handled it brilliantly, offering alternates or extra portions if appropriate. Highly recommend.

Wow...one of the best restaurants ever. Situated on a cliff near the coastline. Food was excellent...but you definitely need to make a reservation in advance. Highly recommend the spicy prawns...although everything we ordered was excellent 👌 the black cod with the smoky aubergine was scrumptious. Highly recommend this place if you are visiting Llfranc. You won't be disappointed!

Nos pasamos por el Far Nomo, aprovechando que estábamos por la zona. Nos pareció interesante la forma de elegir los platos, aunque por ello, no podemos enumerar los platos que decidimos probar El restaurante dispone de dos estancias, entrando a la derecha para las reservas, y a la izquierda, para las personas que no disponen de ella. Nosotros estuvimos en la de la derecha y la verdad que muy bien, ya que estábamos en un ambiente más tranquilo. La calidad del producto, así como de preparación nos pareció excelente. El servicio, atento, aunque algo despistado, nos ayudó en la elección de la comanda. Es una buena opción si te encuentras por la zona, disfrutando del atardecer.

La comida estaba increíble, como siempre, el grupo Nomo no falla en ese aspecto. El talón de aquiles, el servicio, 6 personas en sala, con sensación descontrol ya que cuando nos sentaron en la mesa tardaron 12 minutos, en traer la carta hasta que levantamos la mano, reacción del camarero que si no nos dieron la carta nada más sentarnos. Este tipo de detalles hace que la experiencia no sea tan buena. Hace falta más profesionalidad en este aspecto.

El menú degustación esta muy bien, pero comparado con otros japoneses del mismo estilo me parece un pelin caro. Eso si las vistas y el sitio son impresionantes. Muy recomendable reservar antes e ir a ver allí el atardecer

We had this place recommended by some locals, and were told it was important to book in advance, which we really saw - multiple were rejected in the door. The vibe of the place was super nice in the room with the bar, were the opposite room where we were located was more “empty” The waiters have perhaps been super good if we could speak Spanish or Catalan ourselves, as when it came to English, we had to use handgestures and google translate, to make sure we ordered the right things and not to much of it. When it came to the food we had the edename truffle, which is there best I’ve ever tasted! Next came a beef gyoza, which was melting with taste in our mouth, really good! For the main course we chose the 35p chef choice of nigiri and uramaki. Some of them were AMAZING! But there were also a few we didn’t like. There’s were a few pieces which were super spicy, and we do prefer to spice our sushi ourselves with the real wasabi served. We def have had better sushi, but this was another experience as they used untraditional things to top the sushi with. All in all, I would def recommend this to someone how want to to try something new, and get a nice datenight out of it. But be prepared, the English service isn’t the best.

Gorgeous outdoor setting and such a unique fun ordering concept. The food came out really quickly. The quality of the sushi is mid-range and some plates are better than others. A lot of the sushi rolls we ordered had too much sauce. However, it’s a relaxed environment and has a diverse menu that is a really good for families and picky eaters.

As a tourist, I expected a better experience. The service was poor. It was overpriced. A disappointment in every respect.

Reservé mesa en la terraza de Far Nomo con antelación, pero al llegar (de los primeros), nos situaron en una mesa sin vistas, a pesar de que había otras vacías. En la web no hay opción de seleccionar ubicación concreta, pero al preguntar, la chica de recepción nos confirmó que asignaban por orden de llegada. Sin embargo, en ese momento las mesas aún estaban vacías, como se puede ver en las fotos que adjunto, y al insistir me dijo que ya se habían adelantado otros… cuando literalmente no había nadie antes que nosotros. Me ha parecido una gestión poco transparente y que genera frustración, sobre todo en un sitio donde el entorno es parte importante de la experiencia. Dicho esto, la comida muy buena y el servicio en mesa excelente. Los camareros muy atentos y todo lo que pedimos estaba en su punto.
