Good food and service was excellent. The oxtails was hella bomb and the drinks was hitting the spot. Def a vibe and on the upscale side.
The super special pizza was sooooooo good! I really liked the atmosphere and the waitress was nice. This new location is really pretty.
We were 20 min. early for our reservation so we got a glass of wine at the bar. we were served immediately and even got bread and butter. Liz was our waitress in the restaurant side and was super attentive and the sommelier suggested an excellent port to go with the tiramisu! The food was great and the service was even better! Thank you Liz for a wonderful birthday experience for my husband!
Vegetarian. I really loved the place..we celebrated my birthday and their service is great. 1. Eggplant parmesan - this was very light and amazing in taste. The side fettucini with Alfredo was the best 5/5 2. Fries - they were okay. Nothing special but normal 3/5 3. Loved the Espresso Martini 5/5 4.their marinara pasta was also good 5/5. Overall, their hospitality and service is great.
Visiting my daughter and son in law in Stockton for Christmas, dinner reservations at the new Pietro's Trattoria, spacious beautiful building, gracious friendly staff, food filling portions great taste. I enjoyed the Tagliatelle, my daughter the Milanese sandwich, my son in law the Oxtail. For an adult beverage I enjoyed a Santa's Mule. Definitely would revisit when I again visit my daughter and son in law.
Food is always good in Pietro’s , but last night was wonderful ! Had Peppermint Spices Old-fashioned Christmas cocktail also and white wine. They put a lot of clams in my Bucatini and the flavor was so good . Not my first to order this, but this one was best . My husband enjoyed his bday dinner too. Definitely new Pietro’s level up ! highly recommended!
The new location is big and open. Unfortunately, it's basically reservation only now with extremelylimited open seating. Specify where you want to sit in your reservation if you want to sit in specific area. I went to celebrate my 5th sober birthday and didn't know about specifying where to sit. That's new since the old location. The staff walked me to the bar area. I let the host know my sobriety and they were able to move us after waiting an extra 10mins. The food and service are just as great as it always is.
Pietro’s – Lodi, CA I was visiting the area and a friend suggested we stop here for lunch. Oh boy… what a treat! The place was absolutely packed — at 2:00 PM the next available reservation was at 7:00 PM, which tells you something right away. Luckily, the hostess recommended checking the bar area, and we were seated quickly. The service was friendly and welcoming, the food came out hot, delicious, and perfectly seasoned, and the drink selection had every kind of option you could imagine. You can tell this place knows what it’s doing. Between the vibe, the service, and the amazing food, Pietro’s is the kind of restaurant you look forward to coming back to. I’ll definitely be eating here again next time I’m in the area!
This restaurant was impeccable from start to finish. Not only is it a restaurant and bar but there is a little store selling merchandise, oils, meats, and cheeses. We sat on the outdoor patio which was heated and covered. I ordered the chicken piccata with clam chowder on the side. Not only was the clam chowder the best I have ever tasted but the chicken piccata was decadent. Our hostess was attentive and friendly. The overall atmosphere was very warm and welcoming but still had a high-end restaurant feel. I highly recommend this restaurant.
The new space for this restaurant is absolutely beautiful. High ceilings and an open seating concept/ nice decor inside and out. We sat in the patio outside. There was plenty of heaters and natural light through the shudder ceiling; love the ambiance of the restaurant. The staff is very friendly and attentive. You definitely will not feel ignored. If you live in the area or are just passing through, stop by and support local business. You will not leave hungry or disappointed.
1. Get a reservation!! We were lucky enough to walk-in around 4:30 and got an open spot at the bar/chef’s table 2. We split the bruschetta; we both thought the Mona Lisa tasted like juice (dangerously yummy); I had the bucatini—so many clams!; and I finished with a birthday-sized tiramisu. Everything was delicious. I wish they sold the butter they serve with the bread! 3. The new location is gorgeous with its greenhouse motifs. High ceilings and whatnot. Clean bathroom + really sweet service Would go back and would recommend
Updated post: we tried Pietros again at their new location. They were fabulous. What an improvement from our previous visit. The new place is wonderful. Everyone around us seemed to be enjoying themselves! Only suggestion: let your customers know what the specials are. We shouldn’t have to ask if they are any specials.
We absolutely loved our experience at Pietro’s! The food was incredible, full of flavor and perfectly cooked. Every dish we tried was delicious. The service was just as amazing, our waitress was so kind, and the whole staff was attentive and welcoming. You can really tell they care about their guests. We can’t wait to come back!
We had a truly fantastic dinner at Pietro's Trattoria in Lodi, CA. We were lucky enough to sit on their outdoor patio, which was absolutely splendid. The atmosphere was incredibly charming and made for a perfect evening. The food was just as great as the setting. Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious, from the authentic pasta dishes to the wood-fired pizza. You can really taste the quality in every bite. Overall, the combination of the wonderful atmosphere and the awesome food makes Pietro's a must-visit spot.
Three entrees, three drinks, three salads and one dessert. Everything was excellent. A bit of a wait, but this was my first time there and my wife highly recommended. You can watch the food preparation in the open kitchen, everything is fresh and seasonal produce is featured, including in the desserts. Our bill at lunchtime was $175 (pre-tip) and well worth it. Great way to celebrate a friend's birthday. Although this restaurant is a solid 45 minute drive for us, I would definitely make the trip for high-quality, delicious Italian. So many things on the menu looked divine, I will certainly be back to sample the selection.
My friend was like you know what let's ditch the men and go have girl dinner! Yes, say less. We drove out to Lodi and arrived at the outside vibes of Italy. Almost like transported. We did not have a reservation and was almost turned away. *Angelica like music plays. Three seats at the bar were open. We will take them! My drink was never empty! The bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar *chefs kiss. Gnocchi was delicious clouds of joy! Meatballs on point. We loved everything! We were too full for dessert but I bet it would be delicious! Highly recommend!
Food was pretty good, service was great. We had reservations for a Friday night and it was pretty packed, and pretty loud. We got the risotto, a Caesar salad, and the tagliatelle.
Dining in for Father’s Day celebration. I’ve been here many times before. Always welcoming. We asked for outdoor seating. Great Ambiance. Our server was great. Food was great. Although, they can do better on the 3 skinny asparagus included on the "Catch of the day". Kinda wilted. Til our next dine in! I forgot to also mention. We were seated in a tight/narrow spot. Where our server was having a hard time getting our food on our table. See last photo.
The restaurant itself is lovely, very clean, with a warm atmosphere. The staff was friendly, especially the host who seated us, and overall the service was okay, just a bit on the slow side. Unfortunately, the food didn’t match the quality of the space. I started with the Caesar salad, which was a big letdown. The dressing was watery and had almost no flavor. For my entrée, I ordered the pappardelle. It was fine, but nothing memorable, especially at $23. The portion was small and there wasn’t much meat in it. My mom ordered the New York strip, and that was the most disappointing part of the meal. The steak was tough and bland, she actually had to use the butter from the bread just to give it some flavor and make it edible. Overall, the prices are high for what you get, and the food simply wasn’t worth it. The space and staff were great, but the kitchen really missed the mark.
We drove to the new location, which was very nice and curated well. Had the vibes of the old location for sure. Our waitress was kind but not very present. The service definitely what it’s not what it used to be. I had to send my food back because I ordered medium and it definitely came out rare rare, I sent it back and it came out rare again…. We had to ask for refills and bread, basic stuff. They seated us in the courtyard and it was freezing. Then, before the dinner was even over, they shut the heaters off, which we could see our breath. Then we got them to turn the heaters back on, and they open the roof vents up at the same time which didn’t help. We were numb by the time we left. We definitely like the old location and service better. Sadly, we will not drive back here again for that same service or meal. The Italian sausage was however great like usual.
I've been a huge fan of Pietros for over 20 years. I was looking forward to experiencing the new location. The wait time was less than 5 min with reservations. The restaurant is amazing. Pietros never had a big bar area. The new bar is unbelievable the lighting..seating the beautiful display through and through. As you walk through the restaurant it is just beautiful love the open kitchen reminds me off the original location when they first renovated it. The patio very nice. I love the old location, there it felt like you were in the Murdaca patio. As you can tell I was just in awe of the new location. Time to order, for starters we had fried calamari,. They are strips of calamari not rings which i prefer the strips. My granddaughter ordered the Pork Milanese, me Clam Bucatini, my mom one of the specials 14 Oz New York strip with 3 large shrimp prawns over polenta. First off the Pork Milanese is pounded out..it supposed to be tenderized and lightly breaded. It was presented beautifully but the pork was ran over by a steam roller. This piece of pork was so flat and dried out. You could have flug it across the the street. My Clam Bucatini.... well, I normally love bucatini noodles. Bucatini looks like a spaghetti noodle with a hole in the center. It is meant to capture the sauce. The clam sauce is a white wine garlic in olive oil . My sauce was none existence, the Bucatini must've sucked up all the sauce and the heat lamp dried up the Bucatini noodle. My mom's steak and prawns is the only reason I'll give Pietros another try.
