Un clásico en la calle Laurel de Logroño, no puedes irte de allí sin haber probado esta etapa de champiñones aliñados con un aceite de ajo perejil... En mi opinión la mejor tapa de champiñones de todo Logroño.

Bar Ángel es todo un clásico de la Calle Laurel. Su pincho de champiñones con gamba es una delicia simple pero perfecta, y se ha convertido en todo un emblema del tapeo en Logroño. Ideal para una parada rápida y sabrosa.

Los champiñones estaban riquísimos, nunca defraudan. Hemos repetido varias veces y la calidad de la comida siempre es excelente. Pero sobre todo quiero destacar a una camarera, Vanessa. Anoche quise preguntarle su nombre porque la atención fue de diez y quería destacarla en este comentario. Súper profesional, rapidísima, muy organizada y pendiente en todo momento de si necesitábamos algo. Tanto la calidad del servicio como la comida, un 10. Sin duda, volveremos.

It was quite crowded, and we waited almost 30 minutes for our food, but it was absolutely worth it! We tried another place serving the same dish, and Bar Angel still wins hands down. Great flavors and overall experience. Highly recommend if you have the time!

One of the BEST tapas restaurants/bars we visited in Spain - absolutely packed, even during the week. They serve one food item and they do it VERY well - it’s a delicious fresh piece of bread with 3 sautéed mushrooms and shrimp on it, and it pairs perfectly with their wine and beer offerings. When I got back to the US, I still dreamt about this place and wished we had somewhere comparable to it in Boston or NY. It’s one of a kind and so delicious and memorable - very affordable too!!

They are specialised in the Mushroom tapa and it's so tasty. Very crowded, in Laurel Street, they continuously sell this unique pinchos and you usually have them in the streets with a drink.

Una de las opciones, dentro de la archiconocida calle Laurel, para probar un Pintxo de champiñones. La opción ideal, para mi, pedirlo y consumirlo fuera. Si no, demasiado olor a humo. El pintxo es bueno, ahora bien, no tiene demasiada complicación. RCP buena.

Pincho perfecto, pero camareras muy bordes y la cocinera de la plancha solo miraba mal y hablaba a gritos con quien se apoyaba en la barra (que está para eso, para pedir y poder esperar ahí el pincho, apoyar la bebida, etc). Más respeto o amabilidad quizá ayudan a que ese local siga siendo referencia muchos años más como ha sido hasta ahora

Only serves one pincho, and it is delicious. Also good variety of wine. Most servers seem friendly, but mine was not, and was quite rude to me on several occasions. Maybe I was unlucky or she just was having a bad day. Will definitely give it another try and hope for a better server.

You can’t have your cake and eat it too. On the very busy Laurel Street, Bar Angel is an institution. One of those specialty tapas bar, they specialize in mushrooms. And they do it very well. And cheap. We did the notice the shrimps are smaller than in 2022. Shrinkflation. But when you do it well and cheap, there are crowds. And the restaurant will try its best to serve everybody so service will be screamed and that adds to the overall atmosphere similar to a market. Not for everybody. Circus atmosphere. Most bothering were the waitresses who ignore clients and scream at each other, over our heads, unrelated to service, just for fun. Classless. If I was the owner, I would attend to it because it makes the visit unbearable. We ate and we left because of that. But that may be exactly what they want. The unofficial copy of the Soriano bar. We ended up there since the original Soriano was closed. Mushrooms were similar but the service was hostile: it’s like the waitress was doing us a favor. Thanks, but I will choose other bars next time.

One of the staff treated us in a discriminatory and disrespectful way, making us feel extremely uncomfortable. The waitress behaved in a racist and disrespectful way, which made us feel even worse. During my long stay in Spain, I have never experienced such rude behavior. Because of her, it became the worst experience. This kind of attitude does not help your business at all.
