We were the large table of 20 friends on a Saturday night in December literally the worst table to try and serve and all the staff were absolutely phenomenal. They were attentive took care to clarify allergens, made sure everyone had drinks when they needed them. There were no delays in food and it was all delicious. Staff even kindly took a group photo for us. Would highly recommend booking here for group meals it was very easy to communicate with them during the booking process and the service led to a really special night for us.

We had a wonderful experience at Côte Kensington! Yana was incredibly kind, warm, and attentive — she truly made our visit special. The chocolate mousse was absolutely delicious, one of the best we’ve ever had. Thank you for the lovely service and great food. We’ll definitely be back!

I really miss Cote Brasserie in Glasgow so we were super happy to find this one in Kensington. Popped in for lunch and it was excellent. Just a really nice vibe and great food. We shared whitebait to start... super light and tasty. Then salad nicoise and caeser with french fries. A little glass of red wine! Lovely staff too. Thanks

Wow, all I can say. Cote have truly outdone themselves today. Exceptional service from start to finish. Could not of asked for anymore. Special Thanks to Robert, Gabriele and Manisha for making my evening so special. The attentiveness of each staff member made the experience memorable. Already looking forward to my return. The cleanliness of the restaurant and bathrooms did not go amiss. Amazing, thank you Cote!!!!!

Also filled out the survey sent post-dinner but wanted to share this more publicly. Went here for my birthday and the staff were absolutely amazing. Alexandra and the lady with the lovely tattoos on her arms were so kind and welcoming. The lady brought over my free birthday drink which I wasn’t aware of but was thrilled to receive. They gave me a seat by the window which was great as it was a lovely day. The food was excellent (fish parmentier and a blueberry financier). It was lovely because they put a candle in the financier for my birthday which was so lovely and unexpected. Thanks for a fantastic birthday treat!!

The most delicious caramel pudding in London ever, from the cafes that I love to frequent every time I visit London, don't miss the opportunity to try it.

We had a very enjoyable pre-concert dinner at the Kensington Cote this week. The service was friendly and fast, and we were lucky with the weather, so an outside table allowed us to get some early evening sunshine 🌞. The a la carte mains we chose were the Beef Cheek Bourguignon and the Poulet Breton with the Petits Pois à la Française side dish, both were delicious. A couple of free glasses of Crémant Rosé was a nice bonus too. Recommended.

I had an absolutely wonderful evening at Côte in Kensington. For starters, I went with calamari, seared scallops, crab maison, and the French onion soup — which was immaculate, rich, and perfectly savoury. For my main, I chose the salmon and swapped the truffle chips for a fresh salad — an excellent decision, as the seasoning was spot-on and every bite was perfect. Dessert was a highlight in itself — the crème caramel was silky, rich, and quickly became my absolute favourite, while the chocolate lava cake was indulgent and perfectly gooey in the centre. Later, I enjoyed a few cocktails, and the new flat white cocktail from their latest range was hands down my favourite. I also tried the “Passion in Paris,” which was equally delightful. The whole evening had a romantic charm, especially with the beautiful Kensington walkway just outside. A special thank you to Krish, who made the night truly memorable.

Ula was very attentive and frequently checked up on me whether the meal was good or whether I needed anything else. The chef cooked the mussels really perfectly, they were nice and juicy. Thank you Ula and team!

This restaurant is a true delight to attend. Booking is easy, staff are just wonderful here, friendly, attentive and know their menu. Wine selection here is nice. The can easily cater to people with Celiac with a wide selection of dishes. we have eaten here a few times and will continue too. Mussel and frites are the best !

Côte Kensington is a lovely neighbourhood restaurant close to Kensington High Street and Hyde Park. I had the charcuterie and steak with fries and both of them were very tasty. The wine was delicious too. The service and atmosphere were lovely and welcoming.

Côte Kensington is an absolute gem in London. From the moment we arrived, everything felt effortlessly welcoming. The food was truly amazing—beautifully presented, full of flavour, and perfectly cooked. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared, classic yet exciting. What really elevated the experience was the outstanding service from Ula. She was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, making us feel completely looked after without ever being intrusive. Her professionalism and friendly energy added such a personal touch to the evening. An elegant atmosphere, amazing food, and exceptional service—Côte Kensington delivers on every level. We’ll definitely be returning!

Ula was a wonderful wonderful host! Very attentive, complimentary and friendly with a personable service. She had it all under control, with many people coming through the doors Sunday morning for coffee and brunch. Thank you. The food was filling and tasty, and Ula found a way for us to order a smaller portion of a second dish. The brunch menu is varied and had something for all tastes. Highly recommend the French toast stack with the vanilla crème which is incredible! The full Côte breakfast was appreciated too, with the best black pudding. The atmosphere was very relaxed, warm and comfortable. A few tables were full but it was quiet. Lovely surroundings for a chilled brunch on a Sunday.

The food, atmosphere, staff attentiveness, and cleanliness are all great. The portions could be a bit more filling. Overall, when you get tired of eating the same things over and over in England, it’s a great go-to option.

The restaurant has a calm and warm atmosphere. The service is excellent, the staff are friendly, and the experience is comfortable from start to finish — especially thanks to Ula, whose welcoming and professional manner made a real difference. I have visited several times and will definitely return again.

The January set menu was superb value for money and bottomless drink was a great deal too. My main course, Sea Bream was cooked very well. Thank you Ula for the fantastic service. I will be back.

So lovely to see that restaurants like tge côte is dog friendly. We have been welcomed with a smile, service was quick and polite, an the food was good as usual. One person stood out from the crowd( Aslam ), he is funny, helpful and so personable. You can tell he has excellent people skills which is so important in hospitality.

Partner and I had a lovely meal and great experience! It was a Monday before a show at RAH, so wasn't during a dinner rush or a slammed friday/Saturday evening, but nonetheless we were extremely satisfied wih the service, the food, and the atmosphere. I've found in the UK the food service industry lacking in competence and hospitality, but at Côte I was grateful for the staff and their well-balanced tentativeness. The drinks were well made; the wine list offers suggested pairings based on your main. The food was AMAZING! The scallops melted in your mouth like butter. The bourguignon was rich, delicious, and tender. Absolutely lovely experience and appropriately priced.

The service was really great! The food was tasty and well presented, the staff were beyond helpful and friendly. We had Onion Soup, Beetroot Salad and Goat Cheese Pie for starters and we had the burger as a main dish. Our experience was very nice because we had kids and the staff were very friendly and the place is very suitable for families and couples!

We visited the cafe late on a Saturday morning for a coffee and dessert. The warm almond and pear butter cake was hearty for such a small slice, and the vanilla ice cream created a creamy and cool contrast. Lovely coffee and a cosy place.

My avocado smash with egg and salmon was out of this world. Food was tasty, and fresh. The place was very cozy. Ula was a wonderful waitress. She was sweet and attentive. Best service and food so far in my visit to London.

Ula was our server on two occasions. She is a gem! Kind, personable and funny. She made both our experiences memorable and enjoyable. The food was great but Ula was the star!!! Definitely would come back.

Very impressed! Amazing veggie breakfast options…the mushroom croque was especially good. The service was impeccable, Ula was very sweet and accommodating. Will definitely be back whenever we’re in town!

Our first visit to this site. Usually we frequent Cote on St. Martins. We trekked there for lunch to visit our server (who transferred from the St. Martin site). We were greeted warmly and promptly shown to a table. Cocktails arrived promptly and orders taken. Food was delivered soon thereafter...well prepared, and just plain good. Fair prices. Only (small) slip up was trying to get the bill to settle up...they were very very busy owing to the holiday so understandable and it didn't take anything away from our great visit. And if our server, Silvia, doesn't move back to St. Martin's we'll head to Kensington--we love her so much!

We came with two small kids on one of the run-up-to-Christmas weekends and our server Ula made the whole experience a delight. She was attentive without hovering, brought an instant little bowl of bread to distract the kids, and was generally a joy. Also, the food was some of the best we've had at a Cote.

I ordered the sirloin steak (medium well) and it was perfectly cooked, with the sea food linguine (my mom liked it so much), the king prawn starter was good but not perfect. Great staff and they were very helpful and cautious about our preference. Many thanks to the chef

We had the best brunch at Côte Kensington with Ula! She was a phenomenal waitress and made our experience just lovely. The food was amazing, fresh, and so tasty. I had one of the French toast stacks with bacon and my husband had one of the breakfast sandwiches. Mimosas were wonderful and coffee as well! We would absolutely return to Côte Kensington next time in London.

Had a pre-Proms dinner here and it was good. We had the two course menu which had a good choice. The Romesco salad was delicious and the fish Parmentier (fish pie) was tasty. Good service, would return there. Five minute walk from High Street Kensington tube station..

Nice ambience to chat with a friend this morning. Love my minute steak with sunny side egg and fries. The green juice was the best I’ve ever tasted.

Sat outside on a sunny day. Nice vibe and dishes. Enjoyed the side of broccoli in particular and the scallop was flavourful. Crab croquette with the cheese was sinfully delicious. 👍

The food at Cote is always beautiful and consistently high quality. Every visit has been a lovely experience in terms of taste and presentation. The caramel dessert is especially delicious and truly stands out — it’s one of the main reasons I keep coming back. However, during my most recent visit, there was noticeable disturbance caused by one staff member who was speaking very loudly, laughing, and having personal conversations about her life with other employees in the dining area. As a person with disabilities, I am particularly sensitive to loud noises and can become quite distressed by high sound levels. It was difficult for me to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. I politely mentioned this to another staff member, who kindly said he would ask her to lower her voice, and I appreciate his response. I simply hope more consideration can be given to maintaining a calm and comfortable environment for all guests, especially those who may be sensitive to noise, as the quality of the food truly deserves a peaceful dining experience.

Food quality is very good. The crispy pork belly was really delicious. Duck confit was good as well. pay attention too much on customers (more than 6 times asking if their service and food is good) which made a bit annoying and interruption chats with friends and reunion.

G

It's a lovely staple. The food is well done with a great selection - their menue sets are wonderful for large tables or even just to help picking. They have loads of glutenfree options, and their atmosphere is of a nice busy bistro. Nice for dates and catching-up with friends. The service has been great every time I've been!

Nice meal and great service. Got caught out on t&cs so meal was a lot more expensive than expected, so read the small print before you book! But otherwise was nice

A

Food was average. The vegan burger we ordered for the kids was very poor, expected much better from an established chain like this. One server was excellent and attentive but too busy, others looked disinterested.

Me and my partner both got the steak frites, the steak was grilled and chewy lacking in flavour. The chips were lovely but that’s about it. The warm chocolate fondant was lovely but the tarte au citron was mediocre. Our drinks took around 30 minutes to come we had nearly finished our meal before we got them. I witnessed the waiter touching his crotch area multiple times. Other dishes looked lovely but I would not recommend the steak frites.

Cote Brasserie Kensington We visited Cote Brasserie in Kensington on 2nd December 2025 to celebrate a friends 60th birthday. The venue was very busy and we were shown to our table. No one offered to take our coats, we had to hang them over our chairs with customers and staff stepping on them. Having sat there for over 10 minutes we had to ask for drinks, of which only 2 of the 4 came. We then had to ask where the other 2 were. We ordered. Two of us had the fillet steak at £40 per head. It was literally a piece of meat with some frozen fries thrown on a plate. Although the steak was cooked well, there was no finesse about the meal. The other 2 guests had beef cheeks and both described it as very salty and gelatinous. Two glasses of wine were ordered when we ordered food yet these did not arrive until the main course was nearly finished. The bill came to £246 for the 4 of us so it was not cheap. Overall a really disappointing experience which should have been a memorable one.

A really disappointing visit on xmas eve. A bit of a family tradition for us to meet on xmas eve and we all love cote so this was a new location to try. Accomodated 2 disabled people and we were introduced to our server who was very upbeat and thought we would have the lovely cote meal and experience. Unfortunately a missed stsrter which was also not as described on the menu, meant we left very disappointed with the food which was delayed and cold. The manager did his best to put it right at the end just a real shame as it was not the xmas eve meal we have known and loved from cote the last few years. Hope it was just a one off.

Very rude staff. Their closing time shows 10 PM, but I reached at 9:12 PM and they told me they were already closed. I asked politely if I could just get a coffee, and the staff still refused, even though there were many people still eating inside the restaurant. Very disappointing experience.
