Well isn’t awesome to have another coffee bar option besides that one other place. Incredibly impressed with Luckys coffee. It’s what a real latte should be like. Foam…they have foam. I mean does anyone else realize lattes are meant to have foam. I mobile order my coffee. They always have it ready and hot for me. The crew is amazing. They’re so friendly and accommodating the BEST!! I can’t wait to see them blow up. Never change Lucky Coffee Roasters!! No matter how big you get!!

An excellent stopping point if headed out west. A clean coffee shop with amazing coffee blends and subtle flavors. I would recommend stopping by and I will be going back.

Their coffee is so good. I got a honey cinnamon coffee; I can’t remember the name. It wasn’t bitter at all. It’s similarly priced to the big places too.

Coffee recommendation was amazing, today was my first time trying their coffee and it was great. Customer service great. Even though there are still some renovations going on it looks better than it did as Starbucks which is what used to be there and lucky's coffee is so much better. The style they have going on is so nice. Super friendly. 100/10 recommend

All the drinks are so interesting without being overly sugary and sweet; very clean taste! My go to is the Matcha Love, but I am also always excited to see the alternating holiday menus. I was skeptical to try one of the drinks with matcha and the sparkling water but fell in love! Great combination and super refreshing.

My favorite coffee shop in the area. The dirty Donna (chai latte with espresso) is my go to. I also really like the salted caramel iced latte with oat milk. And pastries are delicious! The sitting area outside is really nice to hang out in too.

I love this cafe. We live 5 min away of the Claremont location, and I visit them almost everyday. The coffee is delicious, the staff is so kind and sweet, and now they have a great variety of nice treats! I tried different cafes in Claremont and surrounding, but never found anything so good and with such a nice staff like there.

Nothing but good things to say about this coffee shop. Lots of places to sit, coffee is great, they also have tea.......service is always perfect and its quiet enough to carry on a conversation. Right beside Priceless Pets so you can visit them or drop off a donation afterwards. Theres a small airport across on the other side of Foothill so the small plans cross over, which I think is cool. Oh, tons of parking too! Used to be a Starbucks location.

The staff is always so kind and very good at their job. I love coming here for the best coffee in Claremont and a chill place to study. The music is always good too.

Honestly glad that this place replaced Starbucks. I prefer small and locally owned coffee shops. It's also a plus that they will have their roastery in the same building. I like their selection of beans to purchase. I currently have a rotating selection. I like the variety in their menu with the seasonal drinks. The coffee hits the spot and is very smooth especially in my iced lattes. Friendly staff and like how they are dog friendly. My husky is fond of the puppacinos.

The staff at Lucky Coffee are so friendly and enthusiastic. This is my go to coffee store because the staff always makes you feel so welcomed. Keep up the great work of brewing the best coffee in town!

Been here a few times now to buy beans and the staff has always been great (and patient while I try and decide and then change my mind about which beans to bring home). The coffee is good, the vibe is good, what else do you need? Oh and now you can even watch the roasting!

This is spot probably has everything you would want from a coffee shop. The ambiance is nice and chill and the baristas usually have a cool playlist going and the decor has a nice home feel to it. They roast coffee in house so you know they’re serious. I started off with their pour over and I picked an Ethiopian blend and it was excellent. Next I had the Cortado which was also good. For my final drink I went with an Espresso shot. All of the different types of coffee flavors I experienced were really really enjoyable. They have different roasts so you won’t be stuck having just one type. What I really liked about this shop was that they do the whole dine in service thing while other shops have taken that away and made it more of a grab and go. So if you’re looking for a nice place to relax and enjoy your coffee while you work or just cause then most definitely check this place out if you’re in the area.

Great service. Staff is always so lively... sorta reminds me of Borders, Books and Cafe (pour a lil liqqa out) Ample space to study, read a book or just contemplate the days of analog life. I haven't tasted their baked items here but I have had a London Fog here and it was on point. Also has outdoor seating on the patio that's great for a sunny day. Today I tried their lavender bergamote (earl grey latte, espresso and lavender syrup). So good The way they develop drinks are quite unique and i honestly think that the quality of drinks they are providing is comparable to other hipster coffee shops in OC or LA. Not overly crowded so I always get to order within 5min. A plenty of seats there. Restrooms are spacious. I’d definitely visit more.

The moment I walked in, I was struck by how clean and tidy the place was, creating a welcoming atmosphere right away. The staff members were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. Now, let's talk about their drinks. The Butterfly Lavender Lemonade was a revelation! It's not often you find such a unique and delicious combination. The floral notes of lavender paired perfectly with the citrusy lemonade, creating a refreshing and unforgettable taste experience. As for the coffee, oh my! The Rose Latte was delicious. It had just the right balance of coffee and floral sweetness, making each sip a pure delight. It's evident that the baristas at Lucky’s are experts at their craft. Overall, my time at Lucky’s was nothing short of fantastic. From the impeccable cleanliness to the outstanding drinks, it was a truly great experience. I'll definitely be returning soon to explore more of their menu and enjoy their wonderful hospitality once again. Highly recommended!

I loved it! It’s a huge location with good little tables for working on your computer, tall tables with stools, and even low, comfy couches. The menu has good variety, and there is a seasonal menu as well. The menu is not posted anywhere, it’s just printed andat the cash register. I wish I could have seen it before hand. There were lots of students and non-students either studying or just chatting.

Since trying this place shortly after we moved here a few months ago, I find myself comparing every latte to Lucky’s. I love this place. The roast is excellent, perfectly balanced. Sure, like some reviews say, there’s not a lot of food options, and it’s not “cozy” or “cute” like some other neighborhood coffee shops. But the place is super clean and bright with natural light, the chairs are comfy (tables have a nice little shelf under them for bags and such), and the baristas are all very kind! I personally find the atmosphere super welcoming and cheery. If you want a place with no frills, kind folks, bright light, and—most importantly—excellent coffee, Lucky’s is it.

The pasties are also really good including the vegan breakfast empanada? (it’s a chickpea mixture in a baked dough thing) This has been my go-to spot since I moved to the area. Definitely a must try if you are looking for a place for good coffee and tea lattes, want to meet up with a friend, read, knit, and study or work.

Bro…. When I tell you this is the best coffee I have ever had I mean it (and I have been on a coffee tour overseas). It’s so good I had a 2nd cup and took home a bag of beans. They have made me a customer for life. An absolute must go.

It was a nice treat. However, halfway through the drink, the powerful chai flavor can get played out. My SO ordered a Mocha Latte. The drink was enjoyable. Mostly got the mocha flavors and couldn't get the coffee flavor. Still, it was an enjoyable drink. If you're indecisive on getting a sticker that they sell at the Register... Do it ;)

I enjoy this spot. I love to grab a latte,and read in the corner spot. I wish they had vegan pastries available. I enjoy the tunes they play. Discovered a few good indie songs whilst there (Shazam). The parking is plenty and the service is great. I recommend this spot. But don't take my corner seat by the window! 😉

Meh. Coffee’s fine at the Claremont location but the staff can be kind of a bummer. Upland is a much better experience in my opinion. I also recommend trying Cactus Coffee in La Verne as an alternative to Lucky’s in Claremont.

This place is somewhat lacking in decor and coziness. The food is limited to croissants, muffins and cookies, which are very good but could be better if they had an oven to warm them. The large outside area is empty not sure why there’s no patio tables. The coffee it’s very good that’s what brings me back.

I would love to give this place a higher Mark, but boy, was the counter waitress extremely rude and uninviting. The miserable hipster college student brought so much negativity and frustration for just breathing that my cold brew lost its appeal. I suppose Training now should include hospitality and warmth because her entitled attitude leaves much to desire. Claremont location at 8:30AM

I never do this. I know how hard it is to run a business dealing with the public. I am also aware of the difficulties it takes to hire and retain staff in todays climate. It felt like I was bothering the staff when I walked in. I asked for a pour over coffee. They said they were out of beans. I found this to be odd because they roast there own beans. They also have bags of beans for sale. If they don’t want to make then please take it off the menu. I ordered a cappuccino and an apple pastry. The pastry tasted old and was very soggy. Then I remember I wanted my cappuccino with oat milk. I said the the barista could I get that with oat milk she said yes. A few minutes later I went to get my drink and a 3 person said to me “just so you know it’s an added charge for oat milk”. I was shook I just spent 10 on a cappuccino and a pastry. You did not need to tell me about an up charge. It’s seemed like they thought I was trying cheat them out a . 50c up charge The cappuccino was good. 5 out 5

I went in for my morning coffee and something to eat, and when I ordered there were maybe three people ahead of me. After I order, a group of cops a handful of other people came. The barista, who was clearly Buddy Buddy with the cops, decides to skip my drink and take care of their order and some other people that came in after me THEN made my drink all while the food ordered was sitting behind the counter out of reach getting cold. Clearly, if you’re not their friend, you’re not their priority, even if you’re a paying customer.
