Avaliações de Partners Coffee Long Island City
Walked into the LIC location on a Saturday morning and expected a massive line. I was pleasantly surprised to be out with a drink in under 10 minutes. The place was buzzing. Every table was taken and the energy was high. The service really stood out. The barista was genuinely friendly and clearly knew her craft. Just look at the latte art. They have a large outdoor seating area in the back that looks nice for the warmer months. • Gingerbread Latte (10/10): I am usually a black filter coffee or straight espresso drinker because I actually like the taste of coffee. The Christmas spirit got to me and I went for the seasonal special. This was surprisingly excellent. It wasn’t syrupy or artificial. It tasted like actual gingerbread. The only real downside is the seating situation. Since it’s cold out the small indoor section was packed.
Arrived near closing time hoping to get a fresh cup of coffee, but was told they had finished that up for the day. He offered me an Americano instead, and I didn't hesitate - I've had a hankering for one for some time now. It was outstanding! The service was friendly and despite the imminent closing there were several customers there. None of them looked like they were in a rush to finish.
I went here for the first time and can’t believe how great their coffee is. I tried their seasonal drink cardamom rose latte and it was phenomenal. I’d definitely go back to try their matcha latte. Also almond milk and oat milk options are no additional cost! the interior of the cafe is cute as well. They do have a no laptop policy on the weekends!
I’ve been coming to this coffee shop for almost two years. I order the same thing almost every day, and the staff never fail to greet me with kindness. They always remember my drink and my name. Thank you! The coffee is consistently good, and you can genuinely taste the growth and confidence of the newer baristas as they refine their craft. The music is always thoughtfully curated. People here respect each other’s space, and the environment naturally invites good positive energy. Something about the high ceilings, natural light, and clean airflow makes it an easy place to read, think, and get a little work done. Absolutely love this place and I'll never stop coming!
Nice coffee spot in the heart of LIC! We got the latte and iced vanilla latte, both of which I enjoyed quite a bit (feel like you can tell a lot about a cafe from their ability to deliver on simple drinks). Seating was a bit limited on a Sunday morning, but we were able to find one pretty easily. We were also able to get our drinks pretty quickly despite it being a busier day.
Nice service and Delicious quad cortado!! And I am fussy ;) staff was sweet, service was efficient. The cookie we got was also decadent, shared amongst several of us (so much yummy chocolate in the large chocolate chip cookie). We got to go but the space was small in front but v high exposed ceilings (cool!) And a nice patio that is laptop free on the weekends.
I came here to get some work done, and it was a great coffee to be at! The inside of the coffee shop is bright and spacious, with lots of seating. There's also an outside seating area that would be amazing to sit at when the weather is nicer! This coffee shop has a bathroom and free wifi to get your work done, and overall great ambiance for hanging out, studying, or just picking up a quick drink/bite!
Ambiance: 5/5 Morning at Partners Coffee was calm, perfect for reading a book. The music wasn't too loud, and the windows provided great natural light. The seating was comfortable and welcoming. Customer Service: 3/5 The service was fine, nothing to complain about, but it wasn't exceptional. A little more warmth or attention could have made the experience stand out more. Quality of Drinks: 5/5 I tried the seasonal Orange Cardamom Latte, which tasted like a holiday chocolate orange--sweet but delicious. I've also had their cappuccinos and instant coffee before, and all of it was high-quality, great-tasting coffee. They really know how to do coffee here. Value for Money: 4/5 The two lattes came to $18 with tips, which is a bit steep. It's definitely on the pricier side, but for the quality and experience, I'd say it's worth it as a special treat. Overall Experience: 5/5 A solid 5-star experience overall. I'd definitely return to enjoy their drinks, especially the seasonal offerings. Highly recommend as a cozy spot to relax with great coffee!
Super cute coffee shop in LIC! It’s a bit small with the seating but the atmosphere is cute and the space can be ideal for working or studying or just hanging out! I didn’t love my matcha but I usually get it cold so that might be on me. I did love the latte though so will definitely be back!
The coffee shop is well designed and has a great wood exposed structure. The small courtyard in the rear is a great plus and gives you the sense that you are away from the busy streets. We went specifically to try the coffee and didn’t have any food but it looked good in the display case. The coffee had great aroma and was well made.
I went in with my husband and was so disappointed to see the amount of people taking up tables with laptops. We went there to eat breakfast and were really excited to try the food and there was nowhere to sit, and these people weren't getting up anytime soon. They buy a single cup of coffee and take up tables for hours working remotely. In the summer it wouldn't be so bad but I didn't want to sit on the cold patio. Coffee was really good, bathroom was clean and nice.
I’m from the west coast so I have plenty of great coffee over there. For me this coffee was good and solid but lacks a bit of the nuance that I usually see from the west coast like fruity notes or hints of caramel. I don’t drink sweet drinks but those a flavours from the beans themselves. Def coming back for a solid coffee
Do not order chicken avocado sandwich from the kitchen menu. Dry as hell, hard to swallow 🥲. Can’t believe it’s recommended to me by one of the African American cashiers there. Coffee is great as usual, their burritos are really great. All kitchen orders seem to come with a bag of chips, which is great. Other service crew, especially barista, have been nothing but nice. Just the cashier didn’t really seem to care about giving a good attitude.
Got an iced matcha latte and I had reservations because coffee places hardly ever do matcha well but the pictures of it looked good. But I watched the barista prepare 2 matchas at the same time and put more in the other matcha, so mine came out so light. Light light green. When I asked if he can put more they said they charge for more than a matcha shot. $8.17 for an iced matcha here, and it’s not worth it. Actual coffee is good though so I’ll give them a star for that.
Drinks are great and used to come here all the time. What is interesting though is the no laptop policy? Walked in and saw many people working on their iPads on the tables inside. Since there were signs that indicated a no laptop policy indoors, my partner and I walked to their (great) outdoor space in the back. It was one hour before closing and there were barely any people sitting in the outdoor patio. I have come here many times to work and have not been asked to put away my laptop. There is apparently a sign on the door that says there are also no laptops outside (which I missed); and given the circumstances, I thought (like many times before) that I could get some work done on the weekends here. I understand there is a no laptop policy to prevent people from taking up space inside; but why enforce the policy when it is so close to closing and the patio is not even half full? I’d be happy to stop using my laptop if the cafe was busy and we were genuinely preventing people from coming in, but enforcing it so strictly at this time (given the context) was a bit confusing to me. Moreover, the interaction I had with staff was a bit off putting, as the staff was a bit rude when telling us to get off our devices. As soon as customers were told this, everyone quickly left. Will likely not return to work.
Hand drip stands out, white is average. Should’ve check the least favorable comments before going, same experience of the impolite barista and asking us to move to out door could be nicer. Didn’t notice there is any sign outside of the front door, even check back when leaving. Unfortunately ordered the drink before knowing no laptop allowed. We moved out as instructed and left as expected of the quick turnqorund time.
One of the worst coffee shops I’ve ever been to. I had to wait way too long for my order, the staff were rude and unprofessional, and the atmosphere was terrible. The coffee itself was honestly the worst I’ve ever tasted — completely undrinkable. Definitely not recommended. I’ll never come back here again.
