Good service, good quality
Love this tea place! They have the largest selection of fruit tea options 😍
The mango pomelo sago is gas. Owner is also rlly chill.
Big fan of their mini-bubbles; wish they had locations in Manhattan.
Such an awesome bbtea place, winter melon drink is bomb!
My favorite bubble tea. Healthy and nice tasty.
eddie 老板 is the best and drinks are always 10/10!!
delicious drinks with real ingredients and kind and generous staff
Awesome bubble tea place that still open during pandemic
Not expensive, my pearl latte was great
Great
Their mango pomelo sago is the best!
Best bubble tea 🍵 in Town
The best Yifang in all of NYC
Love. Lots of rules however
Love there boba
🧋✌️
They had my favorite brown sugar pearl latte!!! The brown sugar can’t go wrong with either tea or milk! They’re the best!! The bubbles are so chewy as well!
Love it! I had a Brown sugar milk tea. It was delicious. Very good, very chewy fresh boba. Mmmmm highly recommend this place.
Great shop, but most importantly has the cutest barista 😏
I tried the brown sugar black tea latte. It’s the best tea drink! I’ll try fruit tea next time. Hope they can deliver to Manhattan soon.
Lovely atmosphere, boba is amazing. The service was quick, lovely. Def worth coming 👍👍
Excellent oolong cream tea! $10 credit card minimum, but they accept Venmo for any charge.
Clean, well presented shop with a good selection of quality drinks at a reasonable price ($7.50 as of 2-6-23).
Great service, cute atmosphere, delicious brown sugar black tea latte. Can't wait to try more.
Lots of variety and customization of sugar and add ons. Fresh fruit and natural ingredients. Great service and clean store.
The fruit tea and brown sugar tea are amazing here! They are a must try! And the staff are super friendly here!
Such a great tea shop! I come here after classes with friends and it’s actually such a vibe.
My favourite Yi Fang. Owner is so sick and hilarious. Drinks are pretty fire too 🧋🧋
We finally have a REAL bubble tea place in the neighborhood. I went there yesterday and it was great!
There's plenty seats here. Better than the one in flushing. No need to wait for brown sugar bubbles.
Their salty cream is buy one get one 50%! Go try it out! One of my favorite flavors at a really cool store. Conveniently located right there in front of a bus station and train station. The place is always so clean and even its customers. If you like my reviews, hit the thumbs up. I try to put effort in these reviews to better prepare people for their upcoming experiences, unlike others who post up single word reviews just to say they are, local guides." I appreciate all the views and love you all give! ❤
Yi Fang is my favorite bubble tea spot in the neighborhood! The tea tastes really good (I often get the sun moon lake tea), the bubbles have a perfect chewy ness as tapioca should have (and they are smaller than your average tapioca, I appreciate the texture on the mouth feel), and OMG have you tried their egg waffle treats?! They smell and taste soooooo good - I think it’s new.
Their fruit tea is one of the best places in town. The location is near the train station. Perfect place to hang out with friends.
I really like their brown sugar bubbles. But When I went there around 11:30 which is just opened I can only get normal bubbles. Their normal bubbles are ok but I still prefer brown sugar one!! So be careful if you like brown sugar bubbles you should go after 1 PM so you can get. But some time around 5 PM they might’ve sold out and making them so I could not get it for few times😂
Yi Fang is always my go to when it comes to milk tea. Authentic, tasty and cool vibes! I love the Brown Sugar Pearl Tea Latte and the Taro Milk. In my opinion, this is the best milk tea in NYC!
I adore the black tea pearl like everyone else but the aiyu lemon jelly is a superstar for those into tart flavors. By the way, my combo is 50% ice, 50% sugar. That's probably wrong and 100% sugar would be my correction if I remembered.
Best bubble tea place in NYC! Unique flavors. The green plum green tea is my favorite if you love sweet and sour flavors.
Unique tasty flavor: passion fruit green tea with grass jelly made my mouth happy. Light fruity and great taste combo. Easily becoming one of my favorites
Cute place with delicious teas 🧋🍵😋. First picture is of Pineapple Green Tea the next pictures are of Passion fruit green tea. The latter is very sweet even if it wasn't with sweetness 100% the former definitely less sweet but both were tasty and the price is also reasonable.
Super tea tasty! I ordered oolong milk tea with cheese foam! Love it! Btw, their boba is in a smaller size with great elasticity.
Always have a good experience when I come here, drinks are solid and service is really fast. I would also say that the offerings here are unique to other bubble tea chains while still retaining some classic drinks. The interior is also very comfortable. Just be aware that there is a $10 minimum to pay with card.
Love the tea shop! The taste is the same as I had in Taiwan as far as I know. Yi Fang is famous for its fresh fruit tea. There’s usually real fruit inside. I also like that they offer seasonal fruit tea, which made me want to try new flavors. For example, now there are 3 kinds of peach 🍑 fruit tea You can choose sugar level. They recommended 50% for peach fruit tea The ice level is fixed in this case, but I’m not sure if you can change for other drinks. Usually you can choose both ice and sugar level in a Taiwanese tea shop Also, the location is good. It’s near subway and Keyfood, so it’s convenient to drop by and grab a drink there. The vibe and decoration in store is also enjoyable. It’s a woody and vintage Taiwanese style. There’s $10 minimum purchase for credit/debit card, but they accept Venmo if it’s under $10. The price is slightly higher compared with lots of the tea shops.
It’s honestly a treat when we get Yifang in the evening with our dogs. The bubble tea here fills so much of my happiness! It is also delightful to walk into a shop knowing that the owner, Eddie, is so friendly and approachable. There is an array of great bubble tea options here, and anyone who wants some good bubble tea should definitely come here. You won’t leave disappointed!
Very good place, friendly, clean and has a lot of space for customers. Right near subway station and open late hours. Great options of bubble tea and fruit tea.
First, it has the best boba. The boba they make is less chewy and it has a flavor (brown sugar). I would not recommend for those who like their boba chewy. In another place I usually go to for boba drinks, the boba is very chewy and has little to no flavor which is not my preference of boba. The drinks they make are good. Second, the staff is friendly and organized. Third, the place is really cute. The decor is simple and elegant. Lastly, if you purchase their drinks, you can actually get a stamp card and eat time you get a drink you get a stamp for about nine times and you will win a free drink. I mean it is a good deal if you are a boba lover!!
Ordered a Yakult milktea. Recommended 👍
I came here on a quest to find a flavor similar to our beloved coconut ice cream 🥥🍨, and to my delight, I stumbled upon this one-of-a-kind Mango Pomelo Sago Frozen Tea 🥭🍊❄️ that was absolutely fantastic and exceeded my expectations! 😄👌

This place seems great, but they should consider offering almond milk or another non-dairy alternative.
Matcha brown sugar bubble tea was very good flavoe wise but the tapioca pearls were a little too soft. Turns into mush quickly.
Pricier compared to other bubble tea places. Menu is also a bit limited. But, their brown sugar latte is a must, as well as their black tea with salty cream.
I came here for the soft opening today (4/24/19), and despite the long line and wait, I'm pretty happy with my experience. When I arrived at 6:40PM, the line was a bit out the door, and I got to the front at 7:15PM. I got their large fruit tea which was the drink on promotion for $3! They just ran out when I got to the front but they made more; I had to wait an additional 10 minutes for it but the cashier was quite apologetic when I picked up my drinks. I also liked that I could get as many drinks as I wanted, so I got two. I didn't like that this was the only drink on promo though! I really like their pineapple fruit tea in Taiwan (and Hong Kong) but it's just way too pricey here. It's $5.50 for a large - including tax, and I could get a meal in Chinatown for that price!. Anyway, I was glad they didn't close their doors early, as their Facebook event said it's until 7PM. They were still open by the time I left around 7:30PM, and the line was still until the door. They were definitely highly inefficient for this, and I'm glad I got my drink today and not during grand opening which is this weekend (buy one get second one 50% off - soft opening is definitely a better deal if you want the fruit tea). Regarding the drink itself, it was a lot better than I expected. It was very fruity and there were lots of fruits in the tea (apple, orange, passion fruit, and pineapple). They definitely diluted the drink with water though as I saw them do it, and the tea flavor could have been stronger. That being said, it's the best fruit tea I've had in NYC. I was also thinking that this is very well-located, as there aren't any good bubble tea shops in LIC. This could be the one! It's convenient too as it's right outside the E/M/G Court Square train. I would recommend this place if you like fruit teas!
Quality teas and boba! Love that they use actual milk and fruits for their teas instead of the powdered stuff found at other places. Only negative is that that the order placing and pickup could be improved to ensure proper social distancing measures. Hopefully we don't have to do this forever and this all becomes a moot point!
Friendly and decent bubble tea place with a lot of options. They allow you to choose your sugar and ice level for most drinks which is nice. Decently sized drinks as well. Also conveniently located by a subway hole.
Delicious drinks, peaceful atmosphere and clean/inviting environment. Lots of people during rush hr times but not bad. Cashier could be more welcoming but other staffs seem to be fine.
Love the authentic flavored tea and the real ingredients they use. Beautiful blend of tea me fruit together! Yifang fruit tea was mentioned as very sweet and was suggested to me at 1/2 sugar. $10 credit card minimum.
Chewy and consistent tapioca bubbles along with fresh milk. Recommend place for Black sugar pearl milk(bubble tea).

They didn’t have brown sugar when I went. The staff seemed as if they didn’t know what they were doing. But I’ll probably go back and try it again.
Good enough, a bit expensive though.
Tried some of the bubble tea when they first opened a couple of years ago. It wasn’t anything to write home about, but nothing overly bad either. Keep your expectations down and you should be good.
I wanted to get the brown sugar bubble tea, but the store clerk said it is not ready until 1:30pm which is so weird. I'm don't know how other bubble tea places can serve their brown sugar drink all day long. Then after I placed my order, the store clerk said cash only because my drink was not more than $10.
It’s a 10$ credit card limit what bothers me. During this pandemic I try to avoid cash. I understand that bankcharges can be expensive for a small business ... but still I am not willing to pay 10$ plus tax & tip for a rather a mediocre drink.
Pretty unpleasant experience with the staff today. I was trying to explain my order and I felt like one male staff was just cutting me off. I also don't think he was wearing a mask. Drinks were fine.
The decor of Yi Fang Taiwan Fruit Tea is artsy, simple and bright, similar to its other locations. The staff was friendly and served everything quickly. We had their oolong milk tea with bubble and it wasn’t good at all. The oolong milk tea was okay but the bubble was unpalatable and braised too soft for us. We prefer bubble with chewy texture. We have visited multiple locations in both New York and Taiwan. We would recommend to try their signature fruit tea. If you like milk tea or brown sugar milk, there are better options out there.
I gave them a second chance, really tastes bad. They shall switch to a better brand and close the current one.
Their fruit tea was okay. I didn't like that they had too much seeds inside.

Takes to long
Staff are rude.
Update: Thank you for the owner/manager's response. Maybe I didn't make it clear that this was not my first time trying Yi Fang as I have waited online in the Flushing location when it first opened on multiple occasions. The hype of brown sugar boba tea was one that deserved the praise. With that in mind, when I tried it in this location, the quality was vastly different. The bobas in the Flushing location, specifically on 40th road were chewy and bouncy. In comparison, the bobas here were mushy and lacked texture. Again, I'm willing to give it another try as it may be an exception. But perhaps, as owner/management, you should test out the difference yourself. Thanks. Firstly, I am thankful that they are opened for business, but lack of quality control on the boba cooking process/time. They ran out of regular boba when I was there but they said the brown sugar boba is still available. These bobas were cooked in brown sugar for its sweetness so I opted for one. However, the bobas were less than impressive because they were very mushy as a result of over cooking. This was my first time but I am willing to try again when things get back to its semi-normal state. This could have just been an exception.
The tea is great but I have been here many times and the staff is ALWAYS rude. I’m paying $6 for tea with milk and you want to be rude? C’mon- that’s bad business. The menu is also bit big/confusing and the store opens at noon but they won’t have bubbles until 1p? Doesn’t make sense.
Wouldn’t give me nondairy milk options for my milk tea and the taro mixture was very chunky and chalky in nature. Also charging $1 for boba is crazy

Doesn’t taste like any other yi fang locations. It taste so bad that I’m not even sure is this place legit.
More expensive than Manhattan and $10 credit card min.!! Just lost a new customer...
very bad experience. customer service in this store is just utterly terrible. (especially their boss). Strongly discourage anyone going to this place.
Sipping a plastic or glass scrap from my drink. Besides, the staff did not wear disposable gloves or mask, I’m worried about sanitation.
Cashier has no idea what customer service is. Specially the female, if she’s so tired of working she don’t gotta work. If she’s having a bad day she can keep it to herself and stay tf home. You’re working to serve people if you don’t want to be kind then quit
Some toppings like sago and pudding are always not ready until late afternoon. Should have set a notice at door or front desk saying when those toppings are expecting to be ready if they won’t be ready when you open at 12pm
prioritizing Uber Eats orders. refuse to serve in-store customers strawberry products because the strawberry orders volume from Uber Eats too large.
They forgot to add boba to one of my drinks and refused to add it or re-make it just because we didn’t have cash. We were left there waiting and they did not plan on handling my drink until we asked again. In the end, we asked for a refund for that drink just because of this 75 cents drama. So ridiculous.
I ordered from Panda Express twice the drinks didn’t come with straws. I called the store they were extremely mean and rejected to provide straws. Don’t go there.
Great seating area but the employees blast the WORST, head pounding, noisy and loud AF kpop songs that completely kill the vibes
Big fan of boba tea and saw this place when walking the dog. Decided to go back, waited to order my drink, went to pay and didn’t see the little sign saying $10 min for debit and credit. Guy behind the counter says tells me to cancel the order as they have a minimum. Stupid policy considering 80% of the menu items are under $10 (my order was $9). They lost a new customer. Googled quickly and went to Boba & Bean inside ABCeats on Jackson Ave. Much better, no issues.
I hope I could give them 0 star. Went to their grand opening today. They had promotions from 2pm-5pm. I went there 450pm and waited 15mins on the line to order. Then their staff told me the promotion expired. Horrible customer service. Also, they gave me a wrong order and their milk tea tastes bad. Will never go back.
I ordered the Yakult pineapple green tea and the mango pomelo sago. The Yakult pineapple green tea didn’t taste like Yakult at all. I’m not sure if they’re cutting back on ingredients, but there was absolutely no Yakult flavor. They also used canned pineapple, which didn’t taste fresh. As for the mango pomelo sago, it barely had any pomelo in it, which was disappointing.
What’s worse than getting a wrong drink delivered is when the store (6/26/2025 8pm) insists they did not add milk to your drink. Picture for context…

We have been to Yi Fang LIC several times. Whenever we go we always ask about ingredients because of food allergies. We usually order the Lemon Mountain Tea for my kid. Today we asked about the Mango Pomelo Sago but the woman at the counter said there is coconut milk in it. We can't do coconut. So I asked about another drink. She recommended the Mango Sago and said it only contains mango juice, mango puree, ice and tapioca pearls, none of which my child is allergic to. I then repeated the ingredients to the employee and confirmed that it was just ice and no dairy. She even turned to her co-worker and conferred with him in Taiwanese. (I cannot understand Taiwanese but I presume that was what she was speaking about.) Unfortunately, shortly after leaving the store and drinking half of their Mango Sago, my child had a severe allergic reaction!! This was extemely traumatic and scary! After my child was treated and feeling better, I went to call this store but the phone only rang and rang. No one answered and there is no voicemail box. There is no way to contact this store. I ended up calling Yi Fang on 6th Ave in the city to ask about the ingredients and a woman at that location confirmed that they often add whole milk to the Mango Sago! It is not pre-mixed into the mango juice but a little bit of milk is added separately. I was shocked! We were specifically told that the Mango Sago was dairy-free. I also mentioned that we have many food allergies! It's unfortunate there isn't another bubble tea shop nearby. But after the carelessness of the employees at this store and also seeing other reviews here about the lack of attention to detail, we are sadly never returning to Yi Fang LIC. (I should also mention that the Kyoto Uji Matcha Latte I purchased for myself had chucks of matcha powder in it that were not blended at all. Very disappointing for a $9+ beverage.)
