On our first day in Loreto did ask a few people at the tour booking offices what is a good fish option and Buena Vida was mentioned. Wonderful relaxed atmosphere, cats, dogs, and chicken roamed around the area, and the yellowtail fish was fantastic! A good introduction to the seaside vibe of Loreto!

Our landlord recommended Buena Vida as having the best seafood in town. He did not lie. We ordered fish ceviche, which was delicious and was piled high. Both entrees (one grilled sea bass in garlic sauce, one grilled shrimp, both with rice and lots of crisp vegetables) were delicious. Pleasant open-air patio, with several cats who visited tables, but minded their manners.

This is the best meal I've eaten in all of Baja. My wife had the poblano stuffed with smoked fish. I had the pollo taco and fish taco. Fantastic. The salsa was great. Top that off with a mango margarita. Delicioso. Benjamin, Mauricio, Candi and Brian were the staff. Thank you so much.

I have to say that this place is... FENOMINAL! We were in Loreto for 3 days and ate here twice it would have been 3, but they are closed Mondays. Everything we had was delicious! Thanks to Chef Leonard for taking the time to stop by our table to chat with us and his staff for providing excellent service.

We love the yellowtail tiradito there! It was a pleasant surprise. We had whole fried fish with pulpo, pulpo tacos(abit dry), shrimp tacos were decent. We love the raw items better! Had a drink with passion fruit. Yum. There are cats and dog in the restaurant, feeding them may not be a good idea as they come really close to you. We are determined to be back again for the raw fish!!! As my kid says. I want good life!

Out riding bikes through Loreto and came across Buena Vida. A little off the beaten path, but well worth a stop. Food was really really good! Service was great and bonus to have a few animals roaming the outdoor patio. Very nice.

The clams au gratin was excellent and the fish ceviche was very good, though we couldn't figure out what kind of fish it was. Service was excellent and the atmosphere very nice with Mexican music playing softly.

Food was good but not great. Our server was terrible. Appeared very arrogant and couldn't give us his attention while ordering. waited forever for bill. Will not be returning.

No view, but Great service and tasty food. Grilled Shrimp tacos are delicious! Cadillac margarita the best! Seems to be a favorite spot by locals, check it out!

I ordered a ceviche rojo, and the waiter suggested a combination. I went for it: Big Mistake, first of all the double charged for it, and there's no red in it. Is a fruit salad with fish in it, very disappointing 😞. You don't taste the ceviche flavor whatsoever. They fancy it plated, but not ceviche at all.

Was rushed to order, asked for a minute, the waiter stayed standing in front, till I gave in and just got what my acquaintance ordered. Chocolate clamp, would have been OK if not covered in cheese.
