Ameci Pizza & Pasta

Excellent pizza. Quality dips a little during busy hours. The garlic chicken pizza is really good, but I wish they'd use more garlic. Usually, you get maybe 1 piece of roasted garlic per slice and since the roasted garlic is so mild it really should be 5 times the amount. Th deluxe has sliced meatballs on it instead of Italian sausage but it's still very good Prices on Uber eats are definitely higher than ordering directly, so we always use their online ordering system. It's a little dated and their "specials" aren't intriguing unless you like wings. Also their online system does not allow you to order anything but red sauce on the build your own pizzas and that's lame. The location is easy to navigate to, but the parking lot sucks if driving a large vehicle. Not a dine in location.

Best pizza in west OC! And, doing a re-review, still the best pizza. With the amount of food this place pumps out, it needs 13+employees working on a weekday to ensure it happens. And, I've never once had to wait, or had been ignored any time I've been in the restaurant itself. Though it's not a dine-in, there is someone that helps me the moment I walk in the door, sometimes 2 or 3! Great food, great service, and hard workers! Pizza is always delicious and 🔥! Keep it up AP!

This is the best pizza I’ve ever had (no exaggeration), and the sauce is to die for. What’s more, the price is extremely reasonable, especially for this economy (how so many people are working 2 and 3 jobs just in an attempt to make ends meet.). I couldn’t recommend it more.

Forgot mustard on my sandwich..but I can live with that....wings were good. What bothers me...is the lack of dine- in, "COVID" protocols. REALLY? It's 2025!! You have pictures of dine-in on Google page...but you don't actually have dine-in options. I remember watching a game here before COVID...and you still haven't brought back dine-in?! Watching a game is the the top reason I eat out. Covid-"19" meant the influenza strain from 2019... we've moved on!! Respiratory diseases (COPD, pneumonia, etc.) were already the #4 cause of death in the country even before covid. People were paranoid about COVID because they didn't know how many flu/respiratory deaths we already have in a "non-covid" year. If you are using COVID protocols as an excuse to protect your employees ...then research vehicle fatalities!! Those are the number one cause of death for your employees (under 35 y.o....none of them looked over 35) at over 45,000 deaths a year...not COVID. Get your delivery drivers driver training classes, not COVID protocols! Bring back dine-in/sports to get more of my business....in the meantime I will go to a pizza place with the game on that has moved on from the COVID hype

I ordered a pizza for my husband and I for dinner. Ameci Pizza is just down the street from my office so I picked it up on the way home. When I got it home I was very disappointed and unfortunately this wasn't the first time. I ordered a pepperoni, mushroom, jalapeño and pineapple pizza. When we opened the box, it was a mess of toppings. One or two pieces had a bunch of mushrooms, but the other pieces had none. It was the same thing for the pineapple as well. But they sure didn't skim not he jalapeño's, there were a tone of them. It was basically a jalapeño pizza. Very sad.

This pizza is good but when I came in person for my first time I was shocked to experience horrible customer service by the owner. I had simple questions and request for my pizza since last time I ordered it was granted and couldn't this time......just to add some garlic butter on the crust..... anyways when the owner address my questions he was very rude to turn his back against me and gave responded saying no to my request.....very surprised knowing that they sell garlic bread and they did this last time I ordered This pizza place is good quality but the customer service doesn't match this place. Horrible leadership from the owner the whole time.

I'm a long-time regular customer and the quality of the food is consistently delicious. Unfortunately, I am extremely disappointed in their customer service. My issue? I attempted to place an online order through their website and attempted to use a discount coupon that was both emailed & texted to me BY AMECI and it did not work. I then called Ameci to place an order over the phone, to take advantage of the discount, only to be told that they were no longer accepting coupons and would not honor it. What?! AMECI sent the coupon and I am continuing to receive coupons today. Bummed that I have to find a new pizza place, but it's the principle of the matter.

This review concerns the severe lack of customer service skills and bizarre behavior by the owner, Elizabeth. Whenever I’ve approached her to pick up an order, she shoos me away for someone else to help me, even though she’s not on the phone or with a customer. That’s fine. I’d rather not interact with someone who is being rude anyway. A few months ago, I picked up an order from a different employee, and Elizabeth CHASED me to my car in the parking lot, accusing me of holding the pizza upside down, even though I was holding it upright, flat on my hand. It was really bizarre and creepy that she ran after me out to my car. She eventually acknowledged that I was holding it just fine, claimed that some people don’t hold pizzas correctly, and left me alone. Fast forward a few months later, and she did it again. She’s watching me like a hawk as I’m handed the order, and the second my hand tilts slightly from a perfect 180 degree horizontal position holding a small box (not even pizza), she starts bullying me again about the way I’m holding it. She’s relentless. I asked her to stop and she continued anyway. Elizabeth and her bizarre behavior make this Ameci’s location a very uncomfortable place to be. I recommend approaching one of the other employees straight away, who are actually really nice, in spite of their boss’ toxic behavior. You don't have to wait and observe very long to notice the culture here. I’ve noticed a very toxic culture of bullying in place, especially with the treatment of new employees. There doesn’t seem to be room for anything but complete perfection, and those new employees are spoken to as if they’re a nuisance, rather than a human being who is learning. My unsolicited advice for this establishment is to train your employees with kindness and understanding, BEFORE placing them into a busy, backed-up situation, and CONTINUE to treat them with kindness and understanding, so they can have a chance at enjoying their job. In addition, try treating anyone who walks through the door with a kind and professional attitude, like you actually appreciate their business.
