Beautifully remodeled into a pleasant and more open space! Delicious and high quality sushi that never lets down. Staff are all very friendly and go the extra mile to make it a great experience. Have been coming here since I was a small child - this is a Los Altos classic!!
It was generous and delicious! They were so kind, and I really appreciated how they kept refilling my hot tea. It was my first visit thanks to a friend’s recommendation, and I’ll definitely be coming back. The parking is spacious, the food is excellent, and the service is great!
Came in on a Monday evening and had a moderate wait for sushi. The Mr. Sushiko was wonderful and while it was busy, service was good. The atmosphere is pretty basic, which was fine by me, as the fish was fresh and tasty. I will definitely return.
At opening we had one waiter who seated people, provided menu, took orders and brought drinks. There were a few guests filling the tables but he seemed to juggle well. The food took a bit longer but it was worth the wait. We ordered two bentos: calamari, mix tempura, tonkatsu, bulgogi and tuna sashimi. We recently ordered 3 rolls: spider, dragon and poke roll. Our favorites were spider roll, poke roll, calamari and mix tempura. Service was nice, food was flavorful. Another new favorite is Alaska roll: baked salmon and scallops and sauce over roll.
Sushiko is deserves nothing less than a five-star review. The ambiance was a harmonious blend of contemporary design and traditional Japanese aesthetics, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The menu offered a selection of sushi and sashimi. I couldn't resist starting with the Ikura Nigiri, a delightful burst of briny flavors that danced on my taste buds. The delicate pearls of salmon roe were perfectly complemented by the tender, slightly sweet rice. The Tuna and Salmon Sashimi were impeccably fresh, with a melt-in-your-mouth quality that's the hallmark of exceptional sashimi. The vibrant colors and clean, pure flavors of the sashimi left me in awe of the chef's dedication to quality and precision. Sushiko is the place to be. I can't wait to return for another exceptional meal and explore more of their delectable offerings.
My husband and I had an exquisite dinner before his performance with West Bay Opera. We started with some hot and tasty gyoza and egg rolls. The fish was fresh and delicious and the flavors in my rolls were perfect! The miso was very good and we enjoyed warm tea. For dessert, we ate delicious mango mochi! The service was wonderful. Thank you!
Dined in for a business purpose with clients. Definitely top notch quality chef and also top quality/fresh sushi. Atmosphere and lighting is just right for the sushi restaurant, yet what really shines is the way sushi and rolls are placed on dishes. If you are looking for a quality dine-in sushi restaurant, look no further. I definitely liked Unagi and Tuna. Salmon was top quality, too.
Lovely atmosphere. Friendly service. Ordered the evening bento with 3 choices. My husband ordered the calmari tempura. Better than the usual calmari. Batter was light. Thanks to chef David.
Nice experience at Sushiko. I had been standing up outside of ther door and the owner (or server?) of this restaurant came out to ask of I wanted to have lunch and offered me a menu. I came back a couple of days later as I had a craving for japanese food. We got lunch bentos with 2 items, including rice, salad, and a slice of orange, and 2 items of your choice. In total we got teriyaki chicken, teriyaki salmon, tonkatsu, and some sashimi. The food was fair, the place is nicely decorated, and service was very nice and approachable. We also got a serving of fried California roll, so we were really full after all that food. I'd come back for more of those bento and maybe to try the ramen they have on special these days!
Nice fresh simple sushi offering really leaning into the quality of fish for clean flavor profiles.
This is the best place for sushi and rolls in the Bay Area, to be honest, best ever in my life!! I’ve tried several times and have never been disappointed. I loved the food every time. This restaurant will always be my favorite place for california rolls!
Amazing sushi. We randomly tried this place out and the sushi was fresh fresh fresh. And the servers are so kind and polite. Will be back!

This is a great low key spot and they are very nice and attentive there. Also, their sushi is DELICIOUS - so fresh and nicely put together.
I’ve been having office meetings here for the last couple months and we’re all very impressed with the quality of the food and the service. I’d highly recommend for anyone.
Wonderful Uni. Very fresh!!! The rolls were very well done: tasty with a great presentation. Recently remodeled, keeping the best of the old with a crisp new look. Warm and friendly service that you don't experience in most restaurant.

2/28/2024 Sushiko 4546 El Camino Real Ste A4 Los Altos, CA 94022 We went there for lunch on a Wed around noon. It's in the Village Court plaza at the corner of ECR and San Antonio Rd. The store front faces San Antonio Rd. with parking around the periphery of the shops. Not too many people when we got there and it starting filling up while we dined. Probably no need for reservations. It's a booth and table layout with a smallish sushi bar. They didn't have calamari. Wifey had the stir fried seafood udon and I had the lunch special Bento Box with Saba Shioyaki and mixed Tempura. My Miso soup was thick, flavorful and had some Wakame but no diced tofu, just okay. The udon had a good selection of seafood, including mussels and shrimp. My Saba was juicy and tasty, with some edible pin bones. The mixed tempura was hot and included two sweet shrimp with assorted vegetables having a crunchy and slightly greasy breading. The salad had a mayo dressing and just okay, no sesame or soy flavors. The menu is extensive with sushi, bento and udon selections. The service was good, even with just a single server. The lunch special bento box is a good value. Similar to several other places in the area, it's repeatable.
Very high quality sushi in a setting that could use a modern refresh. The price for what is pictured here was $26. This seems to be at least $5 too high. Prices were higher here than I expected for everything else that I saw on the menu too 😬

Solid place for a weeknight dinner - sushi or other Japanese food. On the higher side of the price range for that class of place, but good quality

Wonderful lunch spot. Friendly vibes and good food! Got a 3-item lunch special bento with beef teriyaki, tonkatsu and assorted tempura. Nothing to complain about. The flavours were there and the portion was great. The employees are super friendly and it looks like most people who come here are regulars. It was super cute seeing everyone acknowledging each other. Food's not going to blow you away, but if you want a solid, safe lunch, this is the place to go!
This place is ok. Just ok. The other sushi places around it are better though The good: Decent sushi, the portion size is relatively big The not so good: Not a lot of fish in the dish, the seasoning wasn't accurate - many dishes were too sweet.

Disappointing experience! the avocado is old and black, It tasted disgusting. I removed it and had one bite and it have fish scales on it 😷 I paid for the sushi 23.56 $ and it went to garbage. The lion king roll was soo sweet that it’s made of sugar. Disgusting.
