Great fish tacos in good old boil heights
Maria makes the best drinks for happy hour! The margarita, oyster shots, and micheladas were great! Will be coming back soon for more happy hour fun!!!

Mon through Fri if you are looking for relatively cheap eats that taste great this is the spot to go. The area might not be the greatest but the food and service is awesome.
Came in for Father’s Day, was seated soon after arriving, had some drinks while waiting for the rest of our party to arrive and then ordered our food once our group was whole. Food was excellent, with the only caveat being one group member being a bit surprised by the price of the lobster, beyond that the service was great and the atmosphere was solid with the multiple TVs to watch something on.
Affordable, yummy, would definitely make the drive out again for the amount of food that they serve. I ordered the #7 combo, and it came with a fish taco that was impossible to eat because the portion was so huge (great problem to have, lol) AND a shrimp cocktail with a very generous amount of shrimp. 😋
Hey I came in last week with my 2 friends and we were very amazed by the wonderful service Maria provided for us. She was very polite, made us feel at home and also my friend couldn’t decide what to get so she suggested some plates. I feel like her service was out of this word and should be recognized. Ever since I went I need to come back. And this is why I rate it at 5/5
About 2 weeks ago I came with a coworker, Johana who was taking our order is very friendly as well as Ignacio whom took over after I believe they switch shift. 1st of, once seating they bring salsa and chips, delicious by the way, . I ordered asada and shrimp plate, I really loved the way the meat was cooked, very soft and tasty, the shrimps were delicious too. Portion is decent for the price totally worth it, but keep in mind that buying beer definitely increases the price, then it won't be 20-30 per person. The place is big, clean and looks kind of romantic to me because is dark, perfect for a date and has a small bar. Definitely have to try different dishes and highly recommend this place to anyone who's craving seafood or meat.
The food here is delicious! I highly recommend the ceviche and shrimp tacos. It's the only place I ever order micheladas from because they make them so good!!!
The taco stand part of this restaurant has great daily specials M-F, but great everyday prices too. This is my go to late night dinner choice after a long day of work and is my favorite neighborhood taco place. You can't beat the 99 cent fish tacos on Tuesdays or ceviche tostadas on Thursdays. Love this place!

Always a good time to come here to eat . We came right on the happy hours Monday-Friday 3-7pm we had 2x1 micheladas for $15 . So delicious. Will recommend to come with your family . Worth the price…

Best fish and shrimp tacos in East LA daily specials and great food portions, Note inside the restaurant there is different types of food and the prices are different, I usually order from the outside booth were you can take advantage of the daily deals but you must sit on the chairs outside the restaurant overall great atmosphere and amazing food.

Just to let everyone know check your recipes. They automatically charge an 18% tip on your check. I like the place but this time the service was disappointing. I didn't like the attitude of the waitres

Not as I remember from the 80s. They even used the pulpo head on their 11 dollars tostadas. If you go to Vegas try their octopus 🐙 tostadas for 7.99 tasty and loaded at la mojarra loca grill

I've been here many times without an issues. This time I ordered 5 ceviche tostadas to go. When I got home I only had enough for 3 1/2 tostadas. They weren't even packed. I called and it was to the inside. They told me to call the outside, gave me the number and clicked on me. Rude. I called the outside, explained the situation and they said it should be enough for 5. It wasn't though. I asked what I should do and they just repeated that it should be enough for 5. They were nicer but didn't really help me resolve it.

I've never had seafood this badly overcooked. The Jalapeño was so overcooked the inside was mushy like okra.
If I could leave zero stars I would!!! They kicked us out with our service dog she was in her cage and the person that had her was hard of seeing.
Definitely not the 7 Mares I used to come to years ago. Placed an order over the phone. Lady on the phone was polite. However, the food was another story. Wanted a flavorful fried fish and got an overcooked, burnt, dry and bland fish. Fish was so dry it was hard to eat, threw away most of it. The shrimp orders had a good appearance but were also bland. Not worth the price. Will be taking business elsewhere.
I came here to get food for me and 3 of my coworkers I ordered 5 ceviche tostada specials what I didn’t expect was to be given a single 16oz cup with ( 5 tostadas ) all wrapped in the same foil I didn’t want to make a big deal about it so I just took it and left I guess me and my coworkers will all be eating out of the same cup, Won’t be returning, I recommend Tacos baja on Whittier blvd near the commerce center
