I absolutely loved coming here by its excellent service and very welcoming restaurant. Good selection of seafood and anything you like to eat with your familia. I definitely enjoyed my graduation dinner after graduating from Cal State LA in 2023. Will swing by again soon

Exceeded all of my expectations and more! The place is clean and it doesn’t smell like the ocean inside. Decorations are cute. Everyone is bilingual and very nice. The food was fresh and tasted amazing! definitely recommend this place

Oh my goodness this place has the best Mexican food around and they have incredible fish dishes. The Margaritis are awesome Excellent staff and nice environment. Recently ordered a delivery from there and it was absolutely perfect! They really do things above and beyond. I look forward to when it opens up after the pandemic!

Been here twice and both times have left super satisfied. If your a light eater, share a plate. If you have a nice big appetite you will leave very satisfied from this place. Parking could be bigger, kids menu is great.

Been going here for 20 years. Kinda the equivalent of suburban Red Lobster, except it's family owned, better food, same wait staff (for at least 20 years). and the main reason why I haven't been to a Red Lobster in 20+ years). FWIW. It's super busy on holidays and around graduation. Also offers decent breakfast specials

I've eaten here about 6 times now and the food and service has always been on point. The service is great and the employees are attentive but not pushy, they check in at the perfect moments and let you enjoy your meal. The food is pretty good not to mention the portions are very generous , you will not leave hungry, and the margaritas are a must. I look forward to my next visit.

My first time there I was treated like part as a family member. My girlfriend and I had the Mocajete, I was expecting something small size for 1 person. I ask Nora questions about the dishes what they had and asked about what she recommended for me cause I wanted something like surf and turf. Btw she was fabulous thank you. We love this place, have been coming here for years. She had the aguachile, which had a ton of shrimp and fish. I had my usual a la diabla asada burrito which was great, as usual. The servers hands down are the best in town specially being led by the manager, highly recommend this place if you want good service tasty food and reasonable prices. They have happy hour, they have specials almost every day of the week and you cant go wrong with any specialty drink that you may want to try. My daughter told me about this place. We shared fajitas which was quite tasty! We had the carne asada very tender with chicken and plump shrimp. The rice and beans were very good. The margaritas were big and quenched the thirst! Very friendly service and we went at good time around six so the wait wasn't too long . Will definitely go again so I can give them a five star!

The experience you receive all depends on the waitress. Good waitress and horrible waitress at this location. The terrible waitress will be eating on another table in between taking orders.

The vibe is awesome with the music and the DJ is epic! The patio dining experience is great too and most of the guests in my party enjoyed their food and the drinks were also great. But my grilled chicken was burnt a bit which was not great but all the other stuff was awesome. Generally pretty good!!

Great, fast and good service. All the food was great (would opt out oysters only the last 2 felt fresher but the rest decent) went as a part of 6. Standard fast casual Mexican menu with lots of seafood and steak options. Large portions and sports TVs

They are jerks about masks and want to charge you $1 for one, to walk 2 ft to your table, but their own staff wears all their masks under their chin, including the kitchen staff. If you’re gonna preach something, practice it yourself. The food is really good, but the staff sucks. Good luck finding your waiter after you order.

We came from out of town to try this place since we saw good reviews online. The food was disappointing as it was bland and lacked flavor. The wife had a margarita and left half of it and they only had one type of tequila to choose from. The service was fine. The staff was friendly but not all food was brought out together and had to ask if they forgot the other orders. Most likely a place we would not come back to

This is establishment is pretty popular on a Saturday night. Although my food tasted fine at that moment I got food poisoning somehow. Customer svc was wonderful, the ceviche tasted blend. My friends frequently come..and have a great time.. just wasn't my day I guess.

I have been going to this place since it opened up I would say a little over 20 years. It was always top notch quality food. These last few visits have been a disappointment. The quality has diminshed over the last few years. Their menu is also limited now. This place was a family favorite for many years but it has chnged. The pictures I've added look good but unfortunately it didn't taste as good as it looks. I still recommend and see for yourself so hopefully you have a better experience. Its not awful by any means but in my opinion it isn't as good as the good old days. The mecheladas are good though.

They offered to correct it and was brought food back but everything was overcooked, and vegetables burnt. Staff was pleasant and did try to make experience nice, Manager Eduardo is a nice friendly guy, they just need better cooks that actually care .

Grade B- (80) Generally the food was sub par. The ceviche was good, guacamole, Mare y mare & Queso fundido con chorizo were good. The Aguachile was ok, but the price for what you get is high. The rest like the tacos were too dry, fajitas were not that great, the frozen Margarita was too sweet. Know what you want from the beginning. Not too crazy about the food here.

The food is great however lately they have been extremely inconsistent with their hours of operation. One minute they open at then, the next day if they miss the alert from the rooster, they open at 10. Too many better options in highland park to waste your time here. They’re happy hours is the worst. Don’t even consider that. If they can monitor their hours of operation, breakfast is great

I just came outside of this restaurant bed experience. I order a michelada and it tasted bad the glass jar was warm not even cool. I ask the waitress for my bill and she took more than 15 minutes to give me the bill and it was almost empty. The music horrible. Food was not hot the fish was not well cooked. Never coming back. I would suggest not to go with a party larger than 8. We waited for over an hour before we had to finally leave. The little girl that was the hostess felt bad and tried to guage the wait time but the large party before us was not ready to leave anytime soon. Not their problem whatsoever. I blame the management for not apologizing for the wait or offering to split our tables up or even just say they can't accommodate. We tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but the Management totally ignored us whoever they were. We had no clue. The lady next to the register where we were waiting was busy pouring her salsa into about a hundred little condiment cups all lined up one by one and never picked her head up to acknowledge us. She knew we were sitting there salivating over the salsa. 🤤..It was so awkward, rude and the worst customer service I've every experienced. There's no bar to order drinks while you wait either. I had always had great experiences here, My family and I had been coming to this restaurant for about 13 years. I had never had a bad experience, however this all changed after a new employee, who was the one calling in the families, decided to ignore us for about 3 hours. We sat outside in the cold, since they can only have about 4 people inside the restaurant while you wait to be served. I came in with a group of 14 because we were celebrating on of my siblings birthday, after the new employee finally called us in they attempted to sit us all at different booths around the restaurant, since she had called in various amounts of people during the time the new employee was ignoring us, the large tables they had in the center of the restaurant (which would have sat us all together) were only partially filled. We ended up leaving while the new employee just smiled as if she wanted us to leave. I would not recomend this place for groups larger than 4 people.

My father paid $56 on two soups. Expensive, we didn't even get chips or salted crackers. Overpriced and low quality caldos Aka soups. Siete mares soup was horrible and squid was very chewy. So awful. I do not recommend this place anymore. So sad to see this place like this.

Well, dont get regular American breakfast, the hash browns weren't the ones ilustrated, bacon was like chicharrón from the brunch special the day before. I had high hopes for this place, especially being a seafood Mexican spot — but it was a total letdown. The food lacked freshness and flavor. The shrimp tasted like it had been sitting out too long, and the ceviche was overly acidic with barely any seafood in it. For the prices they charge, you’d expect better quality and service.

If I could give zero stars for service, I would. We came here as a party of 15 and the experience was a headache from start to finish. First off, the server didn't even bother asking us what we wanted to order—we literally had to tell her to take our orders. It was completely disorganized. The billing situation was even worse. At the very beginning, when we ordered drinks, I tried to coordinate the checks, but the server just brushed me off and said, "Tell us when you order food." Then, a different server took over for the food order. She was much ruder and seemed to only speak Spanish, which made communication difficult. Despite that, I promise you, every single person in our group very clearly stated who was on whose bill when ordering. We were following their instruction that they can only split it 3 ways- which is fine. Yet, when the check finally came, it was just one massive bill for the whole table. When we asked her to split it as we had asked, she essentially told us to "figure it out" ourselves. The food was fine, but the service was absolutely horrible. The place was small but kinda cute. Needless to say, I do not recommend this place.

I often eat here, maybe twice a week, and I really like it. But after seeing this today, I think you need to improve food hygiene and ensure the food is clean. Seeing this really disappointed me. I don't know how much unhygienic food I've eaten here.
