FIRST OFF, I LOVE THIS PLACE!! A convenient fried chicken shop (they sell other food items too don’t worry) tucked in Westwood near in-n-out that opens until late when most other places are closed for the night. But most of all, I LOVE the owner—Danny’s a wonderful person and so kind to my friends and I whenever we visit (which is often :) ). He deserves the world and I hope everyone continues to support him and his business— plus, the chicken tastes good and hits so hard when you have light night cravings (or after a night out). They recently got 9.99 medium specials, which are so worth (Danny packs on the chicken and thick fries), so come check them out! Love you Danny + Hangry Moon’s!! <3

I got the hangry combo and it was really good! The toast was surprisingly flavorful. The portions are extremely generous (I couldn’t finish it in one sitting) and the owner was super nice. Best chicken in Westwood and recommended!

The people are trippin and sleepin on the Korean Fried Chicken thicc fries. It’s the only thing that’s kept me from crashing out this year. Really Hangry Moons is the only fried chicken place near campus that has been keeping my soul in balance. If nobody’s got me, I know Mr. Moon got me!

Their tenders are 2-3x larger than most places. Each one is like an entire small chicken breast. Prices are low by West LA standards. Food was made to order yet still quick. Friendly service. Great lunch spot!

Godly portions. Each chicken tender is almost a whole chicken breast, breaded and crispy with a moist interior. The 3 tender meal should only be attempted by those with colossal appetites. The quality was good and augmented by a great selection of dipping sauces.

I'm almost in food coma for finishing my chicken tenders (more like chicken pancakes), chicken slider (a full size sandwich, 2x size of other places), BBQ pork slider (again, a full size), Ribeyes over rice, and popcorn chicken (which are the normal chicken tenders at other places). Ok, I need to go lie down...

I love this place!!!! I have been coming here for a couple years now and it is always so good. The food is always cooked fresh and is ready fast. The portions they give are also really big, way bigger than similar restaurants and the price is cheaper. Ever since I tried this spot its the only fried chicken restaurant I go to and I am going to keep coming back!!!

This is the BEST fried chicken place ever! WAY BETTER THAN CANEs or DAVES hot chicken! I promise you will not be disappointed. PERFECTLY crispy and super flavorful, the fries are thick and airy I have been going here almost every week for years😋😋REALLY GREAT PRICE AS WELL SUPER AFFORDABLE AND YOU GET HUGE PORTIONS!!!

Good food and fast service. Their chicken sandwich is Delicious and the portion is good, too. Their special sauces are great! Make sure to check it out! The chicken tender is little dry and thick, but it is still delicious. The price is reasonable but there is no outdoor or indoor seatings available.

Basically $12 for 2 chicken tenders, fries and Texas toast. Totally Raising Canes without the glitz. You walk up and order. It's not an inside eatery. I ordered the 2 PC tenders with fries and Texas Toast. Honestly, the portions are large. I ordered 2 of these combos for ne and my wife but we easily could have split one order. The tenders were ok. The breading was more crispy than I prefer and was pulling away from the chicken, creating almost a sandwich-like effect. Some of my fries weren't cooked all the way through and my Texas Toast was burnt on one side. Honestly, I'd rather go to Raising Canes. Food quality is much better and it's cheaper to boot. My advice....skip this place and go to Fat Sal's which is adjacent to Hangry Moons
