I drive 40 mins in traffic to come here. Freshly made pasta and great prices. I get double the chicken and spend about $23 … great deal free parking too
Delicious! The restaurant is decorative open Modern fashion. The owners are delightful. They recommended dishes to me and informed me that that I could order, pretty much to my liking, anything from the menu and modify it. I got 2 pasta dishes to go the total is 17.xx. What a great deal for any Italian restaurant, let alone one of this quality. It is a steal. Pasta dishes come with two pieces of focaccia bread. The kitchen is open to watch the chef's create Masterpiece after masterpiece. I ordered fresh tagliatelle and I saw that fresh tubes of rigatoni we're being worked on at the counter. My meals were already under 6 minutes, as the pasta is fresh. Damn that pasta is delicious. Al Dente to perfection. Bolognese sauce was Perfection, the tomato taste to it was delicious. Comes with a side of parmesean cheese. There's absolutely no need to season it with salt or pepper. It is that good. The portions are generous. 2 meals for me. I can't wait come back and try another dish. I definitely recommend this place for a fresh, authentic, budget friendly italian meal.
Wow so good!! Love the food and the vibes
Great team of folks working here! Food is delicious! I got a tagliatelle pasta with bolognese sauce and tiramisu 😋😋😋! Pricing was reasonable and as expected considering they’re located at USC Village.
Great Italian place in USC village. Among the top 2-3 restaurants in that area. I love their food, and their ambience. Service is quick, but not clumsy. A little overpriced, but then what is not in the village.
The best restaurant at USC village
This is family and this is life. Good food must made by authentic Love, with great stories in it . Great Restaurant! /Food cooked with love would trigger one's memories; cause love is a same notion to everybody; and this thing my friends; it can across all the differences, and all our struggles. Though it could get hurts sometimes; cause it's also our graves and tears, however, this is our family, isn't it? We were recommended this lovely restaurant, and it did not disappoint! We were greeted warmly by the owners, who made sure we were comfortably seated on a cool evening—near heaters to keep us cozy. Dinner was outstanding. The calamari in its rich tomato sauce was absolutely delicious, and the sea bass was cooked to perfection. Truly one of the best meals we've had in Palm Springs. A special shoutout to our waiter, who was both incredibly personable and wonderfully professional. The whole experience was memorable, and we’ll definitely be back!

the food was super yummy!!!! the pesto gnocchi could do with more seasoning though.
The pasta was AMAZING. I got gluten free penne with pesto, and as a gluten free person I was happily surprised at how perfectly the pasta was cooked! Finding good gluten free pasta in restaurants is a rarity and I can’t thank Giardino enough for that. I highly recommend getting the good pasta served with chicken, because the one flaw is that it is VERY buttery, and having chicken or a side bread is good for soaking some of that up. It should also be noted how efficient the staff were- our pastas were ready within ten minutes and all of the workers had a smile on their face. Overall, I’m highly impressed!

The pasta is mediocre for what you're paying for. I got the gnocchi with pesto, and it was very creamy, but definitely lacked flavor. The bread on the side didn't taste like much. It's a clean establishment though, with nice staff.

Got spaghetti mare last time, but I don’t understand what the spaghetti is that thick. However, it comes with garlic baguettes that is over my expectations. Price is acceptable.

I used to love this place and thought the pasta was great but it recently has fallen flat when I came. I usually order the pesto sauce with penne and chicken, but this time I decided to get the tagliatelle noodles. The noodles were cooked well, and the pesto sauce was fine, I just wish it was more creamy, but I guess its just how the sauce is made. The chicken was severely under seasoned, I could not make out a single flavor on it besides cooked chicken. It was slightly overcooked, but did complement the pasta quite well. All in all, the food was just okay, it was solid and provided a good meal and filled me up, but the flavors were lacking.
Very expensive for mediocre pasta served in a paper bowl. Not atmospheric at all, 0 Italian ambiance for an Italian name. I would describe this as the McDonald’s of Italian food. Kinda hard to focus on eating when every 2 minutes they’re yelling out “order # XYZ” would not come back here again, I’d rather spend my money somewhere more aesthetic with food served on real plates.
I really wanted to love this place because the food itself is good, but my experiences here have made me question the overall quality control and customer service. The first issue I had was finding hair in my food. Mistakes happen, and I appreciated that they remade my plate without argument. However, they never offered any further accommodation or apology beyond that, which I found disappointing. A simple gesture, like a discount or even just an acknowledgment beyond remaking the food, would have gone a long way. The second issue came when I watched an employee drag a rag through my food while cleaning another plate. Again, they remade my food without argument, which I appreciate, but the fact that I had to point it out is concerning. Proper food handling should be a priority. On another visit, I saw fresh bread being brought out. When it was my turn to get bread, the employee tried to give me the old bread instead. When I politely asked for the fresh bread, his demeanor completely changed, and he looked at me like I was being difficult. This was frustrating because he had given me great service before, so seeing his attitude shift just because I asked for fresh bread was disappointing. Why give customers old bread when fresh bread is right there? Then, on my most recent visit, I noticed poor management involvement. The manager stood around watching while the cashier handled a growing line of customers alone, even though there were two registers he could have helped with. If you see your staff struggling, why not assist? Lastly, the manager’s response to the hair incident rubbed me the wrong way. Instead of taking the situation seriously, he made a joke about which cook’s hair it might have been. When a customer is already being patient about an issue like that, the last thing they need is an inappropriate joke about it. Overall, I like the food, but I don’t trust the handling of it, and the inconsistent service and management leave a bad taste in my mouth. If they tighten up on food safety and customer care, I would love to keep coming back, but right now, I’m hesitant.
Please change your salad to-go containers. My entire salad emptied itself by the time I got back to my car and this isn't the first time. The lids are super loose and don't snap shut. Food is great but your to-go container sucks.

low quality food. It’s no good at all! Had a pasta al salmon plus additional shrimps for $19.66 total. So the price pretty much as in any real cafe, but the taste is so poor you wouldn’t even believe it. Shrimps have taste like garbage. Salmon is smoked like hundred times and the taste is just smoke.
I visited this specific location, today 4/25 at 5:39pm. I ordered takeout pink penne with broccoli. I opened my food when I got to work and noticed not just one … but MULTIPLE bugs all throughout my broccoli. I immediately and respectfully went to get a refund. The manager was UNAPOLOGETIC and extremely rude and disrespectful.. insinuating that I lied about having bugs in my food, AFTER showing them photos, AND I even brought the food back for them to see themselves. The manager began to accuse me of having opened my food outside even after I explained multiple times, that i opened it INDOORS at my job. He still refused to issue an apology at the very LEAST . I did get my refund but that is not enough. I contacted LA County public health. This is unacceptable and no one should ever be treated the way I was mistreated at this establishment. Extremely disappointed in not only the unsanitary food , but the lack of proper customer service from the manager. 0/10 wouldn’t recommend.
I tried the duck ragu with asparagus and truffle oil special. You couldn’t even tell what kind of meat they were using as it lacked any distinctive duck flavor. That and there was hardly any meat to begin with. I also couldn’t taste the truffle oil which is normally a very noticeable flavor. The asparagus was slivers taken from the bottom of the asparagus so they tasted bitter. The pasta itself is okay but a bit over cooked and the garlic bread was a nice addition. All of this for almost $20. You’re better off going to Trader Joe’s and getting their premade sauce and your favorite pasta.
This photo shows a Penne Alfredo chicken dish. This dish was the worst dish I've ever had in my entire life! Look how oily it is! It even went through my paper bowl and left a mark on the table. This was my first and last time eating here.

Low quality of service. The employees don’t follow proper procedures and hygiene of establishment. You can see the employees not changing their gloves when touching non food items. They touch cash registers and different surfaces and doesn’t change their gloves when touching back on food items. One of the employees working cash register and packing food items. Touches his face with his glove and doesn’t change them and just touches the food. Which employee spreading contamination. Owner gets upset with guests when asking different menu questions or guests dining in. He proceeds to stare them down as guests eats and creepy just stares. Extremely disgusting. This place doesn’t have the quality of the establishment poor food preparation. And lack of taste.
