This is one of my partners go to spots, since he absolutely loves cars. (Its a coffee shop themed around cars.) They have two sections, one for the general public with window seating, a truck outfitted with a table to sit at, and a merch section. Then they have a closed off area for members that has more lounge area and special cars to look close up at. If this was a regular spot for you, I can understand getting a membership. Its a great, themed location for doing work or hanging out. The coffee was also really great. I got a seasonal drink that was a lightly spiced capuchino with cocoa on top. I really enjoyed it! Even if you dont have a huge appreciation for cars (like myself) its a really cool spot and I would highly recommend checking out!
Had such a fun time at Motoring Coffee in LA! The vibe is so unique — great coffee with a cool car-club feel and classic rides on display inside. It’s a perfect spot to grab a drink, chill, or even get some work done. The drinks (especially the matcha) are tasty, and the staff are genuinely friendly. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area! ☕️🚗
Stylish and comfortable place. ALWAYS delicious coffee and matcha. I can definitely say that this place is in my personal top in LA. I should probably be happy that their rating now shows 4.2 and there is no huge flow of people, but it's not fair and they deserve 5⭐️ without a doubt
Super cool coffee shop and members only shared work space. Your car loving boyfriend would never come home if he knew about this spot. I’m unsure how much a membership is as I went as a guest of a friend. I did learn that a membership provides a discount at the coffee bar. My drink was made well and quickly, allowing me some time to browse the car collection. Cool concept for car enthusiasts.
I’m on the hunt for good coffee in LA, and a lot of it is crap. Motoring is awesome, high quality. I think they use Canyon beans. Also great hangout vibes. Love this place.
Could not tell how big and stylish from outside. Lots of people with laptops. Free WiFi is a big plus for a short work stop. Parking is tricky but there is street parking around.
Fasten your seatbelt—you’re about to roll into the most car-obsessed coffee shop in LA (maybe even the US). Housed in a retro warehouse on Olympic, this spot is part café, part co-working lounge, and part secret car vault. Yes, you read that right. Sip a solid coffee, grab one of their excellent pastries (the cinnamon roll is a must), and soak in the vibes of a mini vintage car museum. The décor is pure love letter to beautiful machines. Even if you couldn’t care less about carburetors, it’s still a unique place worth visiting. And yes—beyond the shiny chrome, the coffee really is worth it
If you're a coffee and automotive enthusiast like me, you'll really enjoy this place. It's a 2-in-1 private auto club and coffee shop. The coffee shop is open to the public but the club itself requires a membership. Plenty of seating and it's a great place to work remote. They've got a Japanese K truck set up as a work station which was super cool. The coffee was good but not as strong as most other places. If you like sweet, it may benefit ordering your drink extra sweet here. Staff was super friendly! I just wish they had one or two more cars on display for the coffee shop.
Obsessed with their matcha and vibes 🫶🏽 Motoring coffee is the hottest spot on the west side for a coffee. It has the atmosphere of a chic auto-body shop, with a charismatic coffee shop vibe. The staff here is amazing, and their drinks speak for themselves. You HAVE to come here to just grab a drink or sit and get some work done. They also have a membership which allows you access to their back room!
A petrol heads dream! This place is fantastic. Not only is the coffee delicious but the atmosphere can’t get any better. I loved chilling and checking out all the awesome vehicles in here. The staff were super friendly as well! Highly recommend!
Cool place! Coffee was great with interesting menu items. Part of the space is reserved for members only, but the remaining cafe space is unique and fun. There’s a table made out of the bed of a truck that you can sit at. Definitely worth a visit.

Super friendly staff. Incredible ambiance. Such a unique space. Couldn’t recommend more!
Great spot with a super chilled atmosphere! Had a matcha, which was really tasty. The whole interior is minimalistic but perfect for the vibe. Love the cars on display. Good selection

I found this place online before going to a doctor's appointment in the area. For starters, I was greeted by April at the counter, who has such a friendly affect that I'd imagine even the grumpiest of customers would have their morning brightened... and the coffee? Holy moly, Hector made the best latte I've ever had - perfect roast, perfect temperature, perfect foam. If his handiwork isn't already the standard there, it should be taught in the training process! While most places in Los Angeles seem to be in a race to make the most bitter rocket fuel they can (honestly, many competitors' offerings taste like bile to me), Motoring Coffee stands out for crafting a cup I can actually enjoy. I have many more doctor's appointments in the area, and I'm going to make it a point to go early so I can stop in beforehand. See you all soon!

Ordered the Blue N’ Green. This is their seasonal Nekohama Strawberry Matcha latte with a strawberry blue spirulina cold foam. The matcha notes do not particularly shine through here, however the strawberry hints are there, especially with the sprinkles of dried strawberry on top. Would probably recommend customers to stick to their regular drinks menu or try other seasonal offerings they may have. Location is very distinct for having a few cars on display. It seems part of the space is also being used to promote auto-related productions such as the upcoming Call of Duty 6 game and also an electric motorcycle company, Maeving RM1. Probably 70% of the space is sectioned off for members only, the rest of the plebeians are relegated to the limited space and can only look past the small border of fake plants that hinder the view. It seems the member space has a few more tasteful classic vehicles, and another room in the back for member vehicle storage. In the main customer space, there’s a gift shop area and just enough tables and chairs for guests to lounge in. It’s a very novel and amusing idea that one of the tables is the truck bed of the Honda Acty parked in the middle of the space, I think they’d look even cooler with a larger kei truck takeover as table and sitting space. Location is in a medium traffic area with sufficient street parking in the area. It does get busy in the afternoon but otherwise, worth checking out at least once for coffee aficionados for their distinct automobile slash coffee shop experience.
Such a cool spot! Friendly service! Would be 5/5 stars if they had more herbal tea options. They have a mint herbal tea by Smith, which is a brand that has more herbal options so why not offer more choices? Very unique ceramic tip jar!

Always pleasure checking out coffee shops with unique themes. Cold brew was solid quality. Not exactly a car lover but enjoyed seeing cars and bikes inside. If you’re into cars and coffees, I also recommend checking out the Happier cafe by LA River and Wild Oak Cafe in Glendale Hills.
I tried their london fog and it was pretty tasty. As a study spot, there are limited tables but the atmosphere is cool. The individual tables are a bit small and most of the place is reserved for the motoring club members. I wish they would open up more the the space for non-members, but it is still a cool place nonetheless. Definitely worth checking out and I could see myself coming back to study/hang out with friends.
The reason I'll give 3 stars is because the size of the hot latte, which I got almost half cup, For $6 bucks I believe it's pricey. However at got to the point that I pay for the admission to see the cars. I'm not going to lie, the place is huge, clean and car-museum looking with classic cars. There is a coffee section where there is a cool pickup truck as table where everyone can chill or catch up with friends or just alone to enjoy the coffee , of course if it's available, also there are a couple more astonishing vehicles inside the shop , there are some other seats available windows side, and sofas,. There is also another area with classic cars that is only for members where we can't get in, but from the coffee shop side we can take some pics, at least that's what I was told. The girl who took my order is very friendly. But I'm still very disappointed for the latte, not sure if all hot lattes are the same size , to me it was very small and not even full as I saw on the posted pictures, anyway this is only my opinion, nothing personal. Not sure if the cold drinks are small and not full. But everyone is free to stop by and try their coffee and be delighted with the cars of course if you like cars.
I don't know what to think about 5his location. Its pretty big but mostly for Members. None members have limited seating. My 2nd visit but I can't find the attraction. Vintage cars are amazing. Not many choices with coffee or pastries. Service is OK. Not many smiles or greetings. It needs a little of a cheerful environment
Ordered a Chai and London Fog. Basically just got a cup of milk for both. Atmosphere is really cool and gonna try the coffee next time since we already had coffee earlier.

I’ve been wanting to visit this cafe to see what the hype was about. And I can honestly say it’s really just about the location. You’re nestled inside a car club surrounded by some fancy vintage vehicles. Although the cafe area is minimal, as the rest of the space is reserved for the actual car club members. I tried one of their signature drinks as well as a matcha one. The Citrus Latte was citrusy though you could barely taste the coffee. It was pretty weak. Definitely wasn’t satisfied with it after I finished that I had to get coffee elsewhere afterwards. The matcha was typical and nothing one could make themselves. Seating is minimal with just two hi tops by the coffee bar, a pick up truck that’s been converted into a table bar, and some windows ledge seating with some typical coffee tables. Nothing too comfy. But definitely varied. They also have a corner for cheaply made though expensive merchandise and some of their periodicals they carry on cars which is cool. They carry some vintage items as well though nothing you can’t find at a local flea market or thrift store for much less. Overall it was a fun excursion to visit though not a place I’d feel I need to return to. Maybe if I know a car enthusiast I’d bring them but not exactly worthy of a ride to the west side.
Super. Mid. Not the vibe. I was looking forward to going to this cafe for a year. Service is mid. Design is fantastic. Music is on point. The seating is so-so. Too full to sit down, yet many empty seats, IYKYK. Very... Unfriendly atmosphere. Not cool, actually disappointed. And to be clear, I came here because I'm a car, scooter, and motorcycle enthusiast. I go to rallies. I drive a manual. This experience was sad. You don't even get to check out the cars, but a kei truck used as a table.
2 stars only because of the car my sibling liked. The hot chocolate I bought had the taste of silty lake water and the after taste of sawdust. The pastries looked like they fit in your palm with some room to spare and the cheapest one they offered was 4 dollars.
