Visiting from Toronto and must say this brewery is a beauty. Sam working the bar was excellent she was very friendly and giving us excellent suggestions. All beers that was recommended were very tasty. Don't forget to order some pizza with beers.
We go here often, great beer, the staff is beyond friendly, they just added a fun photobooth and fun place to watch games. Extremely dog friendly. Bonus of their food partner as Emmy squared is one of the best pizzas on the westside.
Wonderful brewery serving great drink selection and offering ample seating both indoors and outdoors. The vibe at Santa Monica Brew Works is very inviting and friendly. Guests of all ages are welcome (toddlers, kids, young adults, older adults, dogs) and their outside/front yard seating is plentiful as it is inside as well. Emmy’s Pizza is also right next to it and offer very tasty food options that go perfectly with drinking. There is a nice selection of all beverages (mostly beers, some ciders and wine and some non alcoholic options). Flights are available too. All in all, fun spot and a wonderful establishment to have in the neighborhood.
Nice place especially outside for groups, not too loud. Great burger very fresh. It did take 32 minutes after I paid on my phone to get the burger which was a bit long, there were a decent size crowd on a Monday evening.
Great atmosphere, loads of beer choices with some non alcoholic drinks too. The food from Emmy Squared was delicious, with vegan options too. Loads of outdoor sitting to enjoy the sun with umbrellas that provide some shade. Also indoor seating is available too! Would definitely recommend!
Best beer place in the world! Fun for large party events. Amazing beer! Nice staff. Happy hour here is amazing. Prices are so good! Food from pizza place next door is top notch
Had a great holiday event/ luncheon at this wonderful place! Staff ( especially Lucy) were friendly and efficient. Super comfortable and fun setting for our large group. The food was delicious especially the Hawaiian pizza. Great drink options. Ample free parking was available which was greatly appreciated by all! Would love to recommend it to others in my circle for small or large group parties in the future. Great job!
Want to have a different type of beer? this is it... local brewery with many options and great flavor! The place is ample, they observe all distancing protocols with seating both outdoors and inside as you may prefer. Being a local brewery, you can actually see the actual machinery used while the bartenders help you decide on the right beer for your taste (samples are provided for you to decide). I say be bold and try something out of your comfort zone! will visit the place again whenever I'm back in the area.

Spacious indoor and outdoor brewery with a wide selection of beer and pizza. I enjoyed the cucumber beer and a sausage, pepperoni and pepper pizza. One whole pizza was quite a large portion for one person but I managed to finish it. Sat outside with a bunch of friends and enjoyed some good conversation and a game of uno! Would recommend!

The best beers are the ones we drink with friends. So without further ado let’s do this beer review. Santa Monica’s first and only craft brewery. They brew California inspired beers for those who live the Beach Brewed lifestyle. Their Brewery & Tasting Room is located at the corner of 19th and Colorado. I came here with my buddies today (Sabado) after beach vb to chill, talk about life, dating and women. Cool time! It was my first time here so I was oblivious on what to expect. They have a wide and huge open front patio with wooden benches and high tables. Indoor was very spacious and huge; ambiance was very chill with two large tele hangers by the wall. Staff was very cordial, professional and followed health protocol. They have good selection of beers (IPA, Ales, 310 etc). Similarly, food selection was wide. I personally like Ale so I chose XPA. For food, I ordered a MacNCheese Chicken. Service was fast and prices were average. Free parking available. Overall, I had a good time and experience going to this brewery. And I highly recommend it.
It can't be beat!! Located in LAX departure. Airport food...sometimes we dread it. But Steven at Santa Monica Brew Works made it all happen ✅🤩 And it was wonderful! He was attentive to my dietary needs and the kitchen staff made my delicious Grilled Chicken Burger to perfection ✅ Located beside departure gate 133 inside LAX You won't be disappointed!😋👌

I had the absolute best time! I have been here before and picked this spot for a celebration of about 15-20 people. The food is excellent and the beer/wine is so good too! I like the vibe inside and out and it's easy if you are being dropped off or if you drive with lots of car spaces to park. The staff are terrific! It has fast become one of my fav go to spots. It's all really well priced so a great time is not breaking the budget. Loved it!
Great beer selection and ordering pizza to the table was very easy. The pizza was the best I've had at a brewery, hands down. Would come again when in the area.
This place is awesome. Great beers and food. We’ve had many an event here including our engagement party!

Dog bar that happens to be people friendly. Really wonderful staff. Immediately after showing up with my dog, they brought a water bowl and dog treats. That welcome for me felt very warm. 2nd time there, will definitely return and would absolutely recommend for anyone who likes a good brewery.
Came here for a goodbye party hosted by one of my friends, the place was easy to find and the beers were nice. Nothing execptional but nice if you are in the area. It was a saturday during the summer so parking lot was full and had to park around 10mn walking distance. I recommend the heads in the cloud IPA. I dislike IPA’s but that one was very smooth and enjoyable

So this is a no tipping place which means the tip is built into the prices. I don’t know why the posted prices don’t include the sales tax as well. It’s like you took a half step to make my checkout easier but not a full step. Anyway, I got a flight of 4x 5oz pours and they were good. The cost was roughly $18. That’s a rate of $14+ per pint of beer. To me it’s not worth it. Another thing is the space. I came around 4pm when part of the interior as well as the outdoor patio were closed. The section that was open had pretty unattractive seating and decor. Around 5pm they opened up the rest of the space. I’m just not impressed by this place. Final thing, which doesn’t affect my rating but is good to know - there is no wifi.
The beer is fine, at best. I appreciate that they incorporate staff cost for the beer pricing (which is about $2 more than standard), so there’s no tipping. So, that said, the blood orange IPA is rather tasty, but everything else we tried, again, was… fine. Here’s a picture of weird spotty clouds from the beer garden, for your pleasure.
Huge brewery, probably one of, if not the largest I've ever visited. Lots of seating inside and out. I would assume this place is family friendly, but thankfully all the babies were home in bed. Sorry not a fan of alcohol and adolescents. It was the end of the night when I showed up so it was fairly dead. They had plenty of IPAs for me to try, but they don't do half pours? Points off, there's no excuse for that. So I only had 3 beers, the Pils, a Hazy and the smoked beer. The 1st two were fairly standard and easy drinking. The smoked beer was good, but more of an occasion beer. It's not as strong as a Marzen, I wasn't getting the ham and cheese vibes I do with other smoked hop beers. Didn't order food, but maybe the smoked trout dip and that smoked beer would be a good pairing? But the whole not giving your customers the option of a half pour seems silly and irresponsible. I would've liked to sample more, but couldn't due to time BAC limits.
Had a great time here. Beers were fresh but pricy. I paid $13 for a regular size beer. I believe tip is included but maybe give patrons the option to add their tip. $13 and it’s also in a plastic cup…it is pretty steep! The pizza was real good. Jalapeño and pepperoni was nice and not too spicy. Just a perfect kick.
