After living in WestLA for over 50 yrs, I can't believe that I haven't tried this place! Even when I was living on Veteran Ave and La Grange for several years. But I've grown to love good Mediterranean food. My friend has been recommending this place for years. Today, I finally got to try Sunnin. Thr 2 of us shared 2 pita wraps: Falafel and beef shawarma. A simple lunch before going back to work. It was so good that I forgot to take pictures of the falafel pita. The first bite was an explosion of flavors: crunchy falafel balls, pickled vegetable, creamy sauces, hummus. Yummy. Then I remembered to take a pic of the beef shawarma pita wrap before devouring it. Also good, but I enjoyed the falafel wrap better. Next time Ill try the other wraps. Or come for dinner, where I can sit and enjoy a bigger meal. Charming dining room. Casual place. The other Mediterranean restaurant nearby, Shamshiri Grill, is finer dining (white table cloths, etc), but Sunnin is a casual, convenient, and tasty. Good price for the wraps, but maybe small if you are a big eater. I could've eaten 1.5 wraps. When our nice waiter discovered that this was our first visit, he kindly gave us baklava for dessert. I'll take the family here next time so we can order more and try more Lebanese dishes.

Great, professional, well trained and very polite team. Great food quality, best taste. Clean place and clean restrooms. Multiple visits and still the same great level. Best Lebanese real taste food in LA and San Fernando Valley. Price per person varies from $25 to $75, depending on quantity and if alcohol is ordered. Example grilled combo is good for 2 and is for only $36.

Great lamb, chicken, and beef skewers. Would also highly recommend the rice pudding for dessert. The staff is super nice and welcoming and will even offer complementary baklava, pickles, and samples!

Oh my goodness, if you're looking for a very delicious, authentic Mediterranean restaurant, PLEASE go visit Sunnin. My husband is Egyptian, and he says it's one of the best spots that makes food close to homemade. The ambiance gives the feel of the Middle East. The music, the couches with pillows(and chairs as well) are all esthetically nice and comforting. We have been pleased with our service and wait time. The waiters and waitress are very attentive. I love the stuffed zucchini, the salads, the chicken shawarama, and the garlic sauce. Their menu is pretty extensive, and they haven't disappointed.

Yesterday was my first time in the restaurant and I absolutely loved it. The food is traditional authentic Lebanese and it tasted excellent, the portions are very big and the service was top notch 🔝 The meat and the potatoes were just fantastic 🤤Will be coming back often for sure!

This place is decent. We ordered two shawarma wraps and a chicken plate. The wraps were really delicious, but they were overloaded with sauce and not wrapped well, you can’t eat them without getting your hands messy. The chicken plate was awesome, and the dip was perfect. They also have good Mediterranean options, even imported alcohol.

We've been wanting to come here for awhile as it's packed every time we passby. The substantial menu has many temptations, but we eventually settled on our choices. The Fried Cauliflower was excellent - crispy and served with a tart sauce. My Beef Kefta Kebab was rich in spices that woke up the tastebuds. My friends enjoyed their chicken equivalent, commenting it was succulent and had lovely flavours. The friend who had Falafels however felt her dish was bland and dry, and didn't finish it. As usual, the place was full of diners, giving it a natural atmosphere. Service was fast and professional. Collectively, our group rated this one a 4.

May 12, 2025 Very Americanized Mediterranean style cuisine. I had a “bowl” of their lentil soup, a chicken shawarma wrap and a chicken tawook (kabob). The wrap and the soup were kinda small portions, so I still felt hungry and ordered the chicken tawook. It was a decent size and tasted OK.

My feedback is that quality decreased a lot since my last time. We had dinner and we both woke up at night multiple times to drink water and because the food was very very hard to digest. I hope they get better

We liked everything that we ate, but the portion sizes were too small for the price. Also we were charged an 18% gratuity even though we were just a party of 2. It left a bad taste. Definitely not going back again.
