Avaliações de Taquería Las Cazuelas Los Angeles
Food was hot off the grill and super delicious. The environment is very welcoming and the employees are very friendly. Overall very good service and I look forward to becoming a regular here with my family!
amazing flavorful food totally worth every penny
Came here with my sisters for breakfast, it was so good 💗
Las Cazuelas is definitely the best restaurant in town. Even though they get crazy busy at times, everyone of their staff is on it. They are friendly and the pupusas always TASTE THE SAME (delicious)!! It's a 10min drive from Pasadena, I have since moved from the area but I'm still down to make the 30min drive to eat here!! I love their rewards program, the pupusas con chicharon, revueltas and bean and cheese are my favorite. I also recommend the yuca frita (it's always fresh and delicious), the carne guisada and the bread called quesadillas. The orchata and ensalada drinks are delicious. Parking can be a challenge depending on the day and time you come, but I love that the restaurant has a classic Salvadorian charm, it's always clean, they have outdoor seating, and the restrooms are clean. Food comes out on a timely matter, and the chips and salsa are a good appetizer when you are waiting for the fresh food to come out. Thank you Carlos and staff for always providing delicious food and amazing service!
Love the food always super good I just wish you would have the Curtido for sale like before you used to sale it in a tub!!!
Everything here is delicious. The pupusas are great. Also highly recommend the carne guisado and soups!
Amazing spot! Great frozen margaritas and papusas. We even took friends of ours that happen to be vegan and they have vegan papusas too!!
Food is great, a little pricey, if you dine in double check your bill.
The food was absolutely amazing and they have a vegan pupusas option. Fire!
Highly recommend! I ordered catering from them for my team's holiday party. Carlos was super helpful over the phone. I had some allergies that I needed to make sure were taken into consideration and he was accomodating. He also offered some adjustments that weren't listed online as options. He warned me that the vegan cheese was noticable, but honestly I still thought it was delicious. A colleague told me he could tell they used the best kind of vegan cheese, be told me the brand but I do not remember. Portion sizes: pretty big. They were not skimpy at all. 1 pupusa had several of us rolling out of lunch. They were also super good, several Salvadorian team mates said their families would approve. The platanos and the toppings were all bomb too. Pick-up was scheduled for 11:45 and they were actually ready for us at that time! Everything was piping hot, even after the drive back to DTLA. Check this place out!
I absolutely "Love" the pupusas at Las Cazuelas Restaurant! I highly recommend the chicken and beans and cheese pupusas! Also try the casamiento that is made with mixed rice and beans and veggies! It is very flavorful and yummy! This business has been in Highland Park for decades and very popular. Give them a try. I guarantee you won't be dissapointed.
My favorite restaurant to got to! Such an amazing experience. The moment I walked in the staff was warm and welcoming. Cozy, makes you feel like home and the FOOD gets a MILLION STARS. Feels like my Grandmother was in the kitchen cooking with all her heart. Pupusas are hands down the BEST in tow, but I do like to explore different dishes and everything I have tried is incredible delicious (caldo de gallina mmmmmm). Will never stop coming to Las Cazuelas, Thank You for existing.
The pupusas are DELICUOUS!! We ordered cheese ones and they are served with a "pickled cabbage" side. Honestly, 1/2 would have been filling enough, but it was just too yummy and I nearly ate the whole one! We also ordered yummy fried plantains! The aguas are not too sweet, just very refreshing. Go visit this restaurant if you're in the neighborhood!!
The food was great if you love El Salvadorian cuisine, the drinks were fantastic fresh fruit very sweet very presentable they have alcoholic drinks as well. Pupusas is their number one seller however their soaps are extremely good
The revueltas pupusa is my go-to, but everything is so yummy and with such generous portions! I had the maracuya (passion fruit) agua fresca - super refreshing. Today we got the chilaquiles too which were amazing, I love the sauce the chips were doused in and the beans and rice were some of the best I’ve had! It was rockin on Sunday around brunch, and my other favorite time to go is during happy hour - excellent deal on big frozen margaritas.
I personally really like restaurants that aren’t spruced up. Very cozy old interior with a lot of seats. Our waitress was friendly and the drinks/food arrived within a short time. We’ve ordered one Pupusa Revueltas and one with cheese and chicken. It also came with Curtido and some nachos with salsa even before we have received our drinks. Good portions, really flavorful.
Las Cazuelas: A Highland Park Gem! Las Cazuelas isn't just a restaurant, it's a Highland Park staple! You can feel the history here, and it's clear they're a beloved part of the community. The staff is amazing - they work incredibly hard to keep up with the fast pace, but they're always friendly and attentive. Now, onto the food! I dove headfirst into some cheesy goodness with their queso con loroco. It stretched like a dream, and the flavor was on point. Sticking with the Salvadoran theme, I tried the pupusa revuelta - delicious! For my main course, I went with the pan con pollo. Let me tell you, they don't skimp on the chicken! It was perfectly marinated and juicy, bursting with flavor in every bite. No Salvadoran meal is complete without chicharron and fried yucca, and Las Cazuelas absolutely delivered. Crispy, salty goodness! To wash it all down, I had a michelada - the perfect refreshing sidekick to a fantastic meal. Overall, Las Cazuelas is a must-try for anyone looking for authentic Salvadoran food in a welcoming atmosphere. They've clearly been a part of the Highland Park community for a reason - it's fantastic!
This is my favorite place to eat My mom and I have been coming since we were young. It's a comfort place. Love the service. Mama always bring a smile to my face. She is so sweet and her laugh is contagious. The vibes are amazing I love that they have Spanish music playing. They also have happy hour 3-6 My go to order to share with people will be pupusa revuelta and queso. Empanada de Vanilla inside Platanos plato Horchata (drinks) Fruita de ensalada(drinks)
Well'p what can I say, the closest thing i had the opportunity to taste authentic Popusas where from my kids Babysitter who is native to El Salvador, she would make us popusas, so with that said, these popusas have that similar taste and feel of what I loved the moment I tasted popusas, the curtido is on point, fresh ,crisp and tangy, the salsa just as good with the right amount of spices added into it, had some chicken nachos yeah maybe not a salvadorian dish but they looked delicious and they WERE! here are some shots we took. feel free to check out my page on Instagram @pcfabrications 🍻👊🏻🤙🏻
Salvadorean restaurant. Parking in the back, metered not free. Can enter from the front or back door. Alcohol available. Went early Sunday morning and not to busy. The Horchata is good. The pan con pollo is decent. The platanos were delicious. The revuelta was ok. Service seems a bit lacking. $5 off if you sign up to there text program.
Super friendly staff and loved the lively ambience. I had a revueltas and pollo pupusa, as well as an asada taco. The revueltas pupusas was super flavorful — I would definitely recommend it. The taco wasn’t as good as the pupusas, but not bad. If you’re in Highland Park and craving pupusas, definitely stop by!
We had dinner in this busy restaurant on a hot Friday evening. The portions were bigger than expected, but many items did not look and taste fresh. I ordered chile relleno, which was very oily and tasted like it was made a day ago and just warmed up. The rice on the side was of low quality and the bean sauce looked like something straight out of a can. As European we are used to a diffent type of Mexican cuisine. They often have drink specials, which might attractive for others, who drink alcohol. Prepare to bring cash, there is extra charge on cards.
While I used to be a fan of this place and enjoyed their pupusas and beef soup, I’ve noticed a decline in the overall taste of their food lately. Yesterday, I tried their shrimp soup, and it was disappointingly flavorless – almost like water. The shrimp had a strange, plastic-like texture and lacked any discernible taste or seasoning. It seems like the quality has taken a hit, and I believe they should step up their game to regain the appeal they once had, especially among Salvadoran customers who used to love this spot. It feels like they’ve followed the trend of gentrification, sacrificing the distinct taste that used to set them apart.
always a great spot for food, The Service is beyond terrible, i didnt feel welcome, server was rude, reminds me why i never dine in.
