Had a great start to my morning by going into Denny’s for a nice and hot breakfast. The Manager Ellanor was fantastic, checked on us and made sure we had everything we needed and more. Will definitely be coming back!

Like one of my usual weekend I come to have a good dinner at Dennys in Los Banos. Two young ladies were very busy typical of a Sunday. There was also a gentleman helping them clean tables, that gentleman was up and down as soon as every Table left he was trying to clean them. When I saw him, I thought that’s very nice of him trying to help the young ladies because they were busy. What came to my surprise, one of the young ladies asked the other one if she had seen her money from a table. The other one answered no I just cashed them out, but I did not clean your table. So the other one answered oh well let me go look for my money because I just seen I had money there.. what a big surprise the young gentleman that was helping them clean the tables had put the money wrapped up in a napkin and in his apron because he was wearing one. What a shame. The young ladies were working very hard and this gentleman just grabbed money that didn’t belong to him. This is a shame because now I am not confident to leave money for my server seeing this.. I don’t understand why people are so disrespectful and dishonest. The young lady was doing such a good job trying to keep up with everyone giving a very good service.. at the end I did hear the young lady said that she had to ask the gentleman for her money, once again, this is very sad. We need to have respect, manners and most important be honest, I hope the store manager does something about this because it’s going to be a little hard if we can’t even cash tip knowing this will happen and with people like this. I did not catch her name of the young lady, but if I’m not mistaken, she was my server not too long ago.

Katryna was an awesome server, kept water and coffee full. Barbara (the manager), also checked on us, highly recommend. Food was quick.

We had the best waitress! Dulen Service was quick, professional, helpful and plesant. Haven’t had a waitress this good in years even at 3 star Michelin restraunts.

Great service and really enjoyable food. We were given the dreaded holiday menu but when I showed my distain for the lack of options, she willingly offered the full menu. The salmon was cooked really well, with nice seasoning. The waitress was really attentive and helpful. A nice stop on the way back to San Jose.

I've been to alot of Dennys and am visiting Cali and stopped for a quick breakfast. It was such a wonderful family atmosphere and was super clean (even the bathrooms). We were on a Road trip when we stopped here, bless the server marisa so patient and kind, our kid is special needs and was being very difficult and she handled the situation so well!!! I have been coming to Dennys for a while. Sometimes with friends and sometimes with family' the service has been exceptional and the food is great. Today I came in with my family and I was seated by a new worker Rebecca. She said she has only been there a couple weeks and I just have to say that for her being that new she was amazing. She was on top of everything. I saw her moving across that restaurant like she has been there for a long time. Greeted us with a smile' took our drink order as she sat us and quickly returned with them and moved onto the next customers waiting' I dont think that girl stopped for a minute! I highly praise her for having such great customer service and making sure my family as well as other customers were taken care of. There should be more like her working here. I need to first give a shout out to Dez! She was an excellent waitress. We were greeted upon entry, seated quickly & the service was great! The restaraunt was clean & well stocked. Our food arrived really quick. It tasted fresh And the portions were huge. I got the veggie omelette with hash browns & a biscuit + a side of buttermilk pancakes. I had to take half of it home. My hubby & son also enjoyed their visit. We would definitely stop by here again whenever we pass through!

I've been to alot of Dennys. Amazingly this Dennys was amazingly better all the better then any other Dennys I have been to in probably 10 years. The pancakes were fluffy n flavorful. The sides were fresh n warm. And our server Kristen was nothing less then shinning excellence in customer service.

Despite always being busy, I never felt we ever had to wait for our food once being seated. Their staff has always been kind and responsive to our requests for more water, some ranch and to-go boxes. I will say the wait gets pretty long....we've waited an hour before, but it is one of the Few restaurants our family of 8 knows well, there's food everyone likes and we can go and sit down together during the pandemic.

A great location with fine staff. This Denny's is clean, with a six seat diner bar that's perfect for an old-school burger and malt (yes actual malts) or a salad and tea. Parking is easy, finding it is easy.

Food and service were good for a road trip stop. Atmosphere was Dennys... but they did have this strange fly problem on just one table by the window with the broken blind. It was like the flies were sun bathing... lol Not sure what was up with that, but the avocado burger was tasty.

Had a great dinner! My family and I came to Denny's the other day, there was one server and one cook and what looked like maybe 6 or 7 other tables. 3 walked in right before us. At a previous visit in the Winter the country breakfast was great, but when I ordered the t-bone steak now, I don't know where the quality control went. The steak was still a bit pink in the center like I asked, but there was a line of fat and connective tissue at the corners that must be trimmed. It was way too difficult to cut or bite through. Eggs I was concerned but not definite were undercooked with runny whites. The shredded potatoes were definitely undercooked. Not held together, not crispy, and still had some resistance to chew. I will probably re-crisp them at home. Overall, not inedible but I expected better when my winter experience was excellent with many more customers.

Expecting Denny's to be Denny's, the food was good. It was the middle of the night and the waitress was distracted with a friend. Our order didn't go in, computer glitch, but she didn't notice for 25 minutes. We were sitting close enough to the window to hear the conversation with the cook, so we knew what happened, but she never bothered to say anything to us. Didn't check on us after we did finally get our food. It wasn't busy, that I could understand. It was our table and one other. Thankfully not a local place for me.

The ubiquitous Denny's restaurant chain, sometimes the only sit down restaurant among the fast food restaurants along the highway truck stop/rest areas. All in all it's usually a safe bet for breakfast and lunch. The last few times we've been to the Denny's in Los Banos we had to sit next to tables that wouldn't be cleared from the previous diners for far too long and basically just a somewhat unkept atmosphere. We haven't been back there to eat in over a year. Update: We went to Denny's again recently and the experience was much better. The food was good, the place was clean, and the service was professional. I was surprised how good the pancakes were, they were light and fluffy, not tough and rubbery like most places. I'm looking forward to going back.

We just had a big dinner at Dennys with a women's Bible study group of 22 ladies. Anna and Ernest were awesome hosts. They were attentive, kind, patient, and fairly organized for a group of our size.…

It is a decent stop for breakfast or brunch. I love their pancakes and that's why I ended up going there. Unfortunately at that time, many of their pancakes were unavailable. I am not sure if this is the case every time. There are no vegetarian options in the menu except for pancakes. They serve good unlimited coffee.

Came here Christmas Eve morning to have breakfast with my daughter making it a tradition to have reindeer pancakes. Unfortunately I didn't see any on the menu so we just ordered breakfast. Food was good had to make an alteration in what I ordered but it was fine we went around 9 it was getting pretty busy the waiter was doing his best.

Food was ok but the service was horrible. It wasn't even bust to say that's why we weren't being tended to. There was no one waiting to be seated but it took them 5mins to seat us. Then when we were finally seated it took the server another 5-10mins to get our drink order. Then another 5-10mins to get our drinks. It took them a total of about 30 Mins to get our order from us and like I said it wasn't busy so I didn't see the reason for the delay. We were celebrating our anniversary and it got late so we ended up at Dennys. Now I kind of wish I just went home and saved my money.

It wasn't the best experience and it wasn't the worst experience. There was one waitress at first. Then it got busy. Food was average to good. I had the country fried steak and vegetables. Although the value for the price was good for the fifty five and over menu.

The serving staff were so lovely and friendly. I'm sorry to say the food was a little sub-par, but if you're looking for a quick, hassle-free pit-stop on your long journey, Denny's serves its purpose.

We stopped here on Christmas. It was super busy. There was a shortage in staff and food. Out of three waitresses, only one handled her customers with care. With how busy it was, a few employees could of gave better customer service. Hamburgers were out of stock by 6pm. Overall, the food & service was okay. It was ok. We had the endless breakfast. We were seated rt away, but when we got our food..after about 15 min., we had to wait about another 5-6 minutes for our silverware! So we ate cold food! Then they didn't give us butter for our pancakes. We had to wait about another 5 minutes. It was ridiculous! And to top it off, it wasn't even busy! Very disappointed ☹️

I'm truly disappointed. We waited a long time to sit and go get our food. After receiving our food the server didnt pay attention to us. Waited for our check while the server chatted with a coworker. If our usual server, Anna would have been there we would have a much better experience.

Fish Platter was good. Should have had sliced lemon with it. Ordered seasoned fries and red potatoes. Instead of red potatoes, it was runny mashed potatoes/grits/baby food. Here's the pick, you decide for yourselves what it looks like. Notice it was "poured" over the fries. Blah!

This place sucks. Servers just stand around talking & eating, while you wait 10+ minutes JUST for drinks. No one acknowledges you once you've sat. Unfortunate, that you can't give 0 stars.

Ate there a month ago. Thought I'd give it a try do to there new remodel. Well, you can remodel a place but if you don't have good service what's the point. A nice place don't make it with out a nice experience. Took a very long time to be seated and understandable if it was busy but it wasn't at all. The server also took for ever to come to our table. Took our order cause he took so long we didn't need time to l look over the menu we already had it. So we got our drinks once he finish putting our order in. When the food came out it was cold and not cooked right. Only one of us ate cause they couldn't get the other orders right. Will not go back.

Visited Dennys today 09/28/2023, the table that we got seated at had multiple dead flies on the window sill, that should’ve been our first sign to leave. When getting our drinks, one of the cups was dirty as the cup was previously used to serve a green smoothie. When letting the server know he seemed not to care and walked away with cup and never returned. At the moment we decided to leave as no one was approaching our table, then called in to let them know the situation, spoke with Blanca and she as a manager was so unbothered with the whole situation, and never offered a solution or apology. At this point we just wanted an apology for the horrible & disgusting service, because there was really no solution after experiencing such horrible restaurant hygiene.

We were seated quickly and drinks were quick. However we waited 30 min to order our food and it took 1.5 hours to receive the first plate of food. Then the plates trickled in however by the time the last plate arrived we asked to get the food bagged. Half of the orders were incorrect with the sides and 2 orders were completely incorrect. We remained cordial and took what was given.

I called it an ordered a clubs sandwich last night. I ended up waiting a few minutes for the order to be completed. The fries weren't even Luke warm. It's easy to tell they were just sitting there. That was the worst Club sandwich ever. I even tipped $4 at the cash register for a to-go order. I called in last night to complain and wasn't even offer a remake. By the way I complain with a very good attitude never ever rude. Oh well I'll never return.

We tried to have a nice lunch. We were there before most of the people. Others got food before us. We asked for soup before lunch we ened up with one bowl we had asked for 2. It was not what we ordered. The waitress said the I would have to wait to get different bowl as they had to many people to take care of. Told them never mind. The food was bad they over charged us. I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this Denny's. After being involved in a serious car accident yesterday, my partner had to come pick me up from the restaurant. My phone was at 10%, so I asked the waitress, Anna, if I could charge it at the booth next to me, which had an available outlet. Unfortunately, she refused to help and showed no willingness to accommodate my request. I ended up waiting for over an hour and a half for my partner to arrive, and throughout the ordeal, Anna was unsympathetic to my situation.

Stopped at this place for a lunch.. we’re waiting like 10 min until they will tell us that we can’t sit by the table we have chosen.. because the table was clean. Yeah, this table is cleaned and sanitized, you can’t sit here. Great, thank you so much! Me and my parents can’t sit at clean tables. This is insane ! By the way, the place wasn’t busy at all. This is the service we deserve..

I've been a Los Banos resident for nearly 15 years and this was the first time I ever have walked out of a restaurant in Los Banos due to poor customer service. The restaurant was only filled at about a 35-40% capacity when we were seated, yet 12 minutes into are sit down we had not yet been tended to. A party of 6 and a party of 2 who came in a few minutes after my son and I were tended to and their orders were taken immediately upon arrival. We were told once about 3 minutes after being seated, "I'll be with you in minute" by the same hostess who tended to the parties that came in after we did. Thanks but no thanks, I'll take my business elsewhere given that type of customer service. If a 0 rating was an option, that's what I would have submitted!

There is a boundary between work and personal life, at this stage that boundary was beyond past. Sometimes we just want to go in enjoy a quiet peaceful place with a exquisite hot cup of coffee but we come to kids running all over. I don’t understand if the Store Manager/Owner allows this but to be honest this is the first time I experience a situation like this. Hopefully I don’t encounter this again. “KIDS PLEASE TAKE CARE OF YOUR PARENTS AT ALL TIMES”

Worst service honestly, they definitely deserve an F rating! I been waiting for a stack of pancakes and I came prior to most people. I waited a whole hour while others who came after me got theirs. Worst experience and overall not to mentioned how old fashioned the restaurant is. PLEASE AVOID EATING AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT!

Zero stars respectfully. We arrived, they were slightly busy, about 7-10 families were in the restaurant. They said it would be a small wait. No big deal. We waited for about 25 mins. They finally sat us at a table, we ordered, got our drinks, and waited. After an hour, I politely asked, (now there were less people because some people had finished and a few got upset and left, one woman had waited two hours for her food and when it came out, it wasn’t even cooked all the way. Ew.) how long it would be. The waitress refused to answer my question and instead kept saying how busy they were. After I asked for the 3rd time, she said about 15 mins. No problem, we had already waited this long, right? Fast forward. 15 mins had gone by and she came back and said it would be at least 25 mins if not longer. There were people who had gotten there before us, who were still waiting over two hours for a to-go order, and they had less of an order than we did, so obviously we were going to be waiting for a while. I respectfully told the waitress we would now be leaving. She had the audacity to ask if she could get me a check for the drinks. I said, “absolutely not these are complementary for the wait.” And we left. Horrible customer service. Don’t even waste your time here. Honesty is the best policy. Be up front with your customers when they walk through the door.

My experience here unfortunately did not meet my already low expectations…The servers were kind but quick to take your order then leave as soon as the food arrived. The food in question was undercooked eggs, under seasoned burgers, as well as overcooked and an oily mess. The fries were sparse and you can expect to pay at least 16-20$ for these sad plates. I tend to stick to the coffee here but today wanted to give dennys another chance. Never again, stick to the coffee…

Dirty place, poor food presentation, poor staff aparience over all bad experience. Dennis is one of my Favorite restaurants and I have visit many in different places but this in los Banos is by far the worst I have visit

This day it took us 45 minutes to be served and we ordered 4 coffees and we asked again, they were never brought to us. We also asked for water and the same thing happened. I even saw a young man get angry and leave without paying. Very bad service in this establishment. I do not recommend it as a stopover. .

Spend your money anywhere else, the things I hear being said are absolutely unacceptable for a restaurant, especially with kids everywhere, name tag said ana, she was decent at best when it came to serving but all I heard was from the back was gross comments about customers and what I believe is other servers.

Cucumbers in salad were frozen. Lettuce was brown. Sauteed veggies were burnt. Chicken fried steak looked and tasted old and they must've had to dig deep to find the old gravy that was included. Red skinned mashed potatoes were brought out separately and they tasted like instant paste! Iced tea tastes like it was made with canal water! Gross! Horrible!

20 minutes waiting and never got offered a table they didn’t have anyone waiting it was slow in a weekday at 2pm worst service

Told us there would be a 35 min wait. After a long hour, we asked what was the hold up, they told us they were no longer sitting people and giving priority only to pick up orders!! Didn’t bother letting us know, had us waiting like idiots. Came to The Habit instead, had our food ready within 5 minutes.

Waited for 30 minutes when tables where available, my French toast had a a hair in it and the Bacon was shriveled and about 3 inches long. Worse breakfast I’ve ever had.

I tried calling in a take-out order at this location and was told “can I put you on a brief hold?” After waiting 12 mins the waitress hung up on me and didn’t pick back up for 2 additional calls. This has happened before at this location and it’s because they literally don’t have a cook working the hours I usually come in to order food. I don’t know if the manager is aware that the night shift waitresses are refusing to take orders but are still getting paid for being clocked in for work wages. If she would’ve just told me the truth then it wouldn’t have got a second thought or a bad review, I don’t appreciate being lied to and I’m sorry but the waitress never gave her name. In person I could point her out, that’s how often I used to order from here, I’ve seen all this location employees.

The most disgusting food at a Dennys I've ever attempted to eat. I know what I ordered but it is hard to tell what it is. Also no napkins or silverware. The ask me to drive from the hotel. This was horrible. Enter at your own risk...

Stopped by to grab breakfast and the food was good, our server was great, but the bathroom was being repaired and the smells coming out of the bathroom were awful. In addition to that, we were first seated next to the bathroom. I had to request for a different table.

So much for being 24 hours. Maybe change your opening hours correctly online. Really wanted to eat after a long ride.

They offered us a table next to the bathrooms and we requested a different one and it took like 10min to get other one pointed by the waitress, they didnt let us sit in the empty ones until she picked it. Later it took forever to receive the ordee and it was not complete. Unfortunately there was only 1 waitress and 1 cook in the kitchen
