First time here, the menu is a little extensive so plan to take time to look over the menu if you have not been there before. My drink aka la guera y la morena was on point and the grilled chicken aka pollo a la parrilla I ordered was delicious 😋. I would come back again to eat and drink. Our server was a little overwhelmed with tables but she did take care of us.

First of all thanks to my co-worker Audri who recommended this restaurant. Shout out to her, this place was super entertaining and full of joy with the live mariachi , birthday people getting shout outs and requesting songs to dance💃 🕺 to. Only on Fridays live band, and on Thursdays karaoke 🎤. Super fun place to be with the family if you want to unwind and enjoy the surroundings. Let me start with the corn 🌽 tortillas, fresh and soft also tasty. Got 6 tacos three fajita, and three pastor.. wow flavorful. Next the 3 birria tacos, meaty cheesy with the consumé that was full of flavor a must have im my book, light crispy shell that has you anticipating the next bite. If your in Lubbock Tx. Check this place out, you won't regret it really friendly atmosphere! I will go and try other iteams on the menu just to update the review but trust me this is one of the most memorable places as of yet in my opinion!

It was D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S Honestly, I'm very impressed about how tasty it was. I ordered a birria taco and a shrimp and chicken skillet. If you want real Mexican food in Lubbock this is the place 10/10

We went for lunch on a Sunday, just before noon; they sat us immediately, and the service was fast! Most of us ordered the birria tacos, and they were delicious. I tried all of the salsas on the salsa bar, and I enjoyed them all. The avocado and tomatillo salsas were mild, but one salsa verde was medium, and a couple of the salsas rojas had good heat. The mariachi band was talented and fun!

Decided to come here for lunch and try out the Cali burrito and carne asada torta. Cali burrito was decent, I thought it was going to be bigger for the price. I feel that the guacamole should’ve been spreaded throughout instead of having it on one end. There was also a little amount of fries inside the burrito. But the carne asada in it was really good. The tasty carne asada torta you definitely get your money’s worth on this. I love the guacamole inside of it and I smother it with the red salsa (my favorite). The fries are super crispy and delicious. The customer service was 10/10. The employee attending us at the window was super friendly and made us feel very welcomed. We even came a second time the same day to eat again. I recommend 👍🏼

Everything we had here was delicious. I love cilantro and that flavor really popped in the salsa they bring out with the chips, and they also have delicious salsas and limes at their salsa bar. They didn't bring a drink menu but there is a full bar. Service was good, and parking was easy. The menu has tons of options. I just wish I would've saved room for Tres Leches.

Everyone in our party of four enjoyed their food. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. The service was excellent. This will be our go-to restaurant for Mexican food when we come back to Lubbock to visit family members.

Food Is Fresh and Delioushish af, they have a salsa bar with different levels of heat that all taste good. Our waitress was supper attentive and made sure we were always doing good even though she had her hands fill. Would definitely recommend and will definitely come back when in Lubbock. Only downside was the prices on some of the seafood were a little high but were legit far far from the ocean so I get it 👿

It was great, on Sunday at noon, the wait time was 35 min but they got us in like 15. They had live music, mariachis. The service was fast and friendly. The chipotle quesadillas are awesome 👏. Price is good for the flavor. Definitely worth waiting a few min. Will be going back soon.

Truly enjoyed the food. I have only been here the one time, but the food would make me come back for more. The salsa brought out to the table was not my favorite, but the salsa bar offered a good selection for me to move past this concern. I noticed there is a stage setup and would be curious to come in when live music is playing. Parking is okay.

Update: came back to try their Caldo de Res, it was really good. The meat was so tender and the rice was so much better than the first time we tried it. The carne guisada was very good although the rice was a bit dry. Service was fast and server was very attentive. Would most likely come back to try their other dishes on the menu.

First time here was a great atmosphere, modern and clean look . Service was pleasant and patient as we went over a good selection of options. Food came out looking and tasting wonderful. Steak, chicken and shrimp all season and seared to perfection. Will definitely be coming back around when in town..

Jungle Explorer

This is a good place to get some Tex-Mex food while in Lubbock. Good food in a nice Mexican atmosphere. Although I do like the food, the prices are a lot higher then other establishments in the other that offer food just as good, and the time I have been her, the place has the music too loud for my comfort. I like music in a restaurant, but the volume level needs to be enough to hear, and not overwhelm your ability to hold a conversation. All in all, it is a good place to eat though.

We love the food here and we don't have a problem with the live music at all we have been here during live music several times already no problem but it was so loud tonight it was rattling our brains we had to leave before we even ordered our food if it was even a notch or so lower it would be perfectly fine but damn it was loud
