I just ate the best Carne guisada burrito I have ever had. Sabrina, has great customer service. She was so sweet and friendly. These days, that's very rare. Outstanding food ,AND customer service. Thanks for the great experience!

We stopped here on our way between Amarillo and Austin. We spotted it on Google maps and decided to give it a shot. Delicious burgers & fries! The building doesn't look like much but the owners were incredibly kind & the food was wonderful! Highly recommended.

We happened upon this place by accident as my husband was looking for a fountain drink before going into work. We decided to try their breakfast burritos and they were delicious! The tortilla was homemade and it was $2.50. So much better than the fake, paper tortillas you get for double the price at other places.

If you can find it, this gem is awesome! Great Mexican food! Super burgers! Nice people. And for the price, you just can't go wrong! I cannot wait to return!

This is the best place to grab a quick and delicious bite. Wanda Knighten was such an amazing help with me. She answered any questions I had about the place. Overall I would definitely refer a friend to go and grab a bite. I give you 5 stars for amazing service and amazing food!

This is the best barbecue I have ever had in my life and I’ve been here for a long time not only is the food. Good portions per serving awesome best price can’t beat it little hard to find but it’s worth searching for.

I had the enchilada special the enchiladas and beans are pretty good I am not a big fan of the rice but let's talk about that carne guisada burrito with cheese in a homemade tortilla I have to say it was the best carne guisada burrito I have had in Lubbock talking about it right now makes my mouth water. I rate this place 10 out of 10 I highly recommend that burrito.

They come with queso but I got it taken off which was a mistake on my part. they are testing these out to see if they should add them to the menu. My vote would be yes! Come support a small business.

CFS and cream gravy with mashed potatoes, green beans, and toast. Also comes with a canned soft drink. Everything was hot and fresh and seemed to be made from scratch. One of the best CFS in town and at only $10 on Thursday you can't beat the value.

It's definitely a "Hole in wall" type of restaurant but very well managed. I got a carne guisada burrito and some chili cheese fries for lunch. The carne guisada tasted how my mom used to make it, and it's definitely an 8 out of 10! 🙌 The chili cheese fries, on the other hand, were good, but the fries were a bit overly fried and greasy. Overall, Cuevas Drive In is a great place if you're not trying to spend a large amount of money and not kill your pockets. Good food and a great vibe.

This place is overall a good place. My family and I went here for breakfast, and all got chorizo and eggs breakfast burritos. The burritos were decent but some chorizo was burnt. The people are so nice and gave us complementary chips that were fresh and delicious. The building is kinda creepy but still an awesome place.

Placed a to go order but was told they have grown too big to cater to individuals anymore. Place is a dump and food quality really isn't that great. Very rude people.

Been here before always same issue, first time went drive through order 3 burritos and it took 20 mins to get my order, 2nd time called figured it would give them more time to make my order and the guy in the phone denied my order he said "Call back in 30 mins we have a big catering of 40 burritos" called back 30 minutes later and restaurant was closed due to a family illness, 3rd time called in a order 5 burritos all Bac. and egg tried to make it easy so I didn't have to wait the guy on the phone said it would be 15mins waited at home until it was time, went to the drive thru window waited another 5 minutes so he can make 1 tortilla and fix a burrito for a gentleman that was already waiting on his burrito for who knows how long just to be told that I was going to have to wait another 5 mins for my order which I'm more than sure it would have been a longer wait GET THIS GUY SOME HELP!

I just paid six dollars for some breakfast burritos. Six bucks is too much. I don’t know how you can burn the chorizo and eggs and chorizo and papas and still wrap it up and give it to me and say enjoy sir after you hand it to me. Your cook knows what he gave me. The chorizo looks like the burnt scraping off the pan and also tastes like it. I will never go back for lunch much less breakfast again....

I used to order from Cuevas often, being that I work up the street from them. For the past couple of months though, the quality has declined. The last couple of times I ordered the food quality has been horrible, almost inedible. The burgers are raw, The nachos are barely anything but chips with lettuce, I will never order from this place again. I wouldnt recomend this place to anybody, ever.

They close early,so if you're running late don't bother.

Stopped by this morning for breakfast, the guy that came to the window looks like the man who you see in some of the advertisement photos so I am assuming he is the owner but I could be wrong. He was super rude, not a good way to appreciate your customers who come out of their way to visit your establishment and give you their business! Do better
