Delicious and inexpensive ready made breakfast burritos!
The pumpkin empenadas are amazing as well as the tacos al carbon.

Good food, good prices. Great place to stop at if you're riding Greyhound & have to transfer, or stop in Lubbock. Definitely recommended.
Family atmosphere, good home style type cooking. Had the Mexican Plate: 2 beef enchiladas, bean, rice and a crispy taco with avocado and salad. Chips and salsa included. Staff is very nice. Got some sweet rolls to go. Delicious!
Great breakfast : Juevos Rancheros with real good tea 🌞 Don't forget the pan dulce--& they have mouth watering thumb print cookies too💟

The staff is very welcoming and helpful. They have excellent breakfast burritos and other great menu options. The price wasn't too bad, and the atmosphere is cozy.
We went right before closing but they still served us and were very kind and friendly ..gave us a great impression! Will be coming back again! ....also their bakery is so delicious! !!!!!
This is a new restaurant. The food is ok but definitely not authentic. The customer service from everyone was fantastic. Zoey was our server and she did a great job.
The bakery is absolutely amazing! Everything I’ve tried has been a pleasurable experience. Nothing like this in Lubbock. Don’t listen to the negative reviews these people are nuts!
Been coming here as long as I can remember. We used to drive from Tulia just to get breakfast an sweet bread. Can't go without getting a pumkin empanada and a couple pineapple empanadas! The best around!
This place so clean so gentle happy people the waitress are wonderful the food is delicious I love enchiladas the beef enchiladas with rice and beans you need to come and join this restaurant like I said the food is wonderful thank you and go and eat at this place
I know the owner and there are good people. They treat you with respect as soon as you walk in the door and the best food in town.
This restaurant always has great food, it's clean and the staff is friendly. The service is very nice and helpful. I would recommend this place before any other. If your downtown give it a try you won't regret it.
Food is great, Amanda is the best waitress and takes such great care of everyone there. The bakery is wonderful, but don't forget to try their lunch too! Great mexican food, will definitely be back many times!

Best breakfast burritos, anywhere!!!! Also the staff is super friendly and food has always been consistently good quality
Good food fairly priced. I love the special nachos for a meal and just 6.59
Good place to get baked items. Delicious, variety of Mexican breads. Good location. Friendly, fast service.
Moved out of town 20+ years ago, but had a chance to stop into this old favorite for lunch. So glad I did. Tasty food, reasonable prices, owned by a super family.
It was good. On the cheaper side for lubbock Mexican food. But at the same time it was a smaller plate than normal as well. I got the 2 chicken floutas. They had a very good taste but where small. It was covered with guacamole to give it more flavor. The rice and beans that came with it where nice as well.

Decent service. Food was good but not great .
Just not that great. It's cheap but the food is real generic. Server was nice.
Okay customer service and not so great food... but awesome bread
I have been going for years and I agree service used to be good. They are friendly but service is always slow, only one person works the bakery side. The food lacks effort and it is losing favor in my eyes. I tried again today and sadly walked out.
Well I wish I could get it more of the higher rating because the coffee is absolutely delicious and my server Jake was awesome. But when it came time to pay is when it went this place went downhill for me. So isn't the customer within reason usually right? Absolutely not here! For a bean and cheese burrito cup a coffee and a hot chocolate, over $12! Excuse me really! According to my ticket I should have been paying around $7.50 plus tax. I told her that was pricing and incorrect as she immediately argued and told me menu prices are not what you're actually charged for certain items, such as the hot chocolate unless you set there and drink it at their table in their coffee cup. well I had just left their table . I politely ask for the manager and the lady rudely snapped at me she was the owner and proceeded to make a big deal about the young man not knowing his prices to another woman! Again clearly stated right there on the menu?! No other prices or rules for anything else are given So rather than let me go ahead and keep the med sized h pop t choc that I had already been drinking out of and complimenting No Doubt and even after I explained to her it was for my autistic 13 year old who had never had Mexican hot chocolate and was very excited to be getting it, she took it from my hand handed it to the other lady and told her to take in back into the kitchen and to pour it into the tiny cup 4oz and charged me $2 and had the rest of my autistic son's hot chocolate poured down the drain rather than let him have it. More argument over extra cheese that was on top of the thinly filled bean burrito that had no cheese in it as advertised in the translated as owner sees fit menu. And I ordered that and ate it at the table. Well it still cost me $9,00! So the food was not good I've had way better hot chocolate in my life, but the coffee was really delicious. So needless to say I won't be back for the food or hot chocolate. Coffee Maybe

Got some bread and it was so hard it seemed to be very old when I went back they told me they couldn’t refund me my money never will I come here again!!
They clearly don't know what Carne guisada is And their ground beef and potato burrito was super dry! They are over priced as well.
I paid 11.43 for two breakfast burritos 1 bottled water & 1 power are and it was 3:00pm so sad never go there again don't recommend to no-one.
Got anise bread and they were sour and inedible. Other breads were not very fresh. I will not return. Did not eat from menu. Just breads from bakery. Highly NOT recommend.
Order a lunch plate and did not get chips or salsa, got avocado dip and again no chips! The Nachos appetizer was warmed up in yhe microwave chips where soft
First i want to say i do not have anything personal against this restaurant. It is an honest review of my experience here. The restaurant has a light airy, inviting feel. The prices are very reasonable. The service is excellent. But the food is disappointing with its lack of flavor. An avacado salad arrived with a tablespoon of avacado on a bed of lettuce and tomato. A LOT of lettuce and tomato. A PLATTER of lettuce and tomato, and no FLAVOR. No dressing of any type, just raw lettuce and tomato. Cold food was cold and hot food was hot, but everything was bland and no amount of salt changed that. A moderate amount of grease is the key to great tasting tacos. The tacos were completely missing any moisture of any kind. The rice was seasoned differently from what you normally taste. It wasnt bad, but it wouldn't bother me to never have it again. The enchiladas were hot and cheesy and great tasting, but the beef inside was just filler with no taste at all by itself. The beans were outstanding! The restaurant is also a Mexican bakery with some nice baked goods. Overall, come here for your bread, donuts, and Mexican treats at the bakery, but sadly, i cannot recommend coming here to eat. The food will be properly hot and filling, but everything is too bland to enjoy.
The service was nice but the food was terrible they use processed tortillas, the carne guisada had more fatty unchewable parts than meat itself, I thought our burritos would 've been made fresh, but they were sitting prewrapped in a warmer making the "tortilla" mush to itself.... NOW as for the baked goods the conchas are over baked and the cookies were hard enough to be compared to stale..... over all once again the experience was horrible and definitely the last time we will be coming to visit. I RECOMMEND this place to NO ONE!!
Jimenez Bakery was not a good place to eat. Prices are little too high for what they serve. I asked for a potato and bacon burrito. My burrito hardly had any potatoes and they only gave me one small artificial strip of bacon. I felt like I was eating a tortilla by itself. my partner had a plate of food and didn't receive his tortillas that came with the meal after he was done eating. the service was slow. Was not happy with the service in the restaurant.
