Food is Amazing, fresh, and pretty quick too. Now I mean fresh as in the burgers didnt taste like they had sat in a freezer the last month. That's hard to come by nowadays when even outback tastes bland. My wife and I had probably 7 or 8 orders in front of us (just by car count) and recieved our food before our restless 5 month old daughter even started crying because the car was stopped. Now it's no hot n ready pizza, (wai tr was a mere 10 mins) but it doesn't taste like one either, and you could easily fit this spot into an hour lunch break from just about any part of Lubbock. This will probably be my new go to lunch break spot! Thank you to the staff for such a wonderful experience

No complaints. I like the menu options and the food looks good. I wanted a big greasy hamburger and tater tots and I got them. The outside waiting area is convenient to to second drive thru window where you pick up the order. Good loud speaker to hear them call your number. I love the whole thing. I hope it's there forever.

First of all, the gentleman that helped us has amazing customer service and attitude! The food was delish! We got jumbo burgers and mini corn dog meal for my daughter. The kids meal comes as an actual kids meal- we were impressed! The fried mushrooms were amazing! Thanks! This restaurant is on the top of our list for a classic burger!

My niece had shared this great restaurant with me. I'm on my 2nd trip 🤪 there now. The food and the people were genuinely friendly. We asked for a menu. They took the time to run us one. Most places will say they're out and that's it. If you have complaints let them know and they will gladly correct.

Went for the first time tonight. I’m not even finished with my Jumbo Burger with cheese, fries and Dr. Pepper while I’m writing this. Amazing food. Can take some time to get your order cooked but I can tell you it’s worth the wait for some genuine food. Gotta go try more of their menu again soon!

This is a classic hamburger place. The burgers are great, onion rings are perfect, and shakes are so good. Also there's real curly fries that are perfectly seasoned. The people are really nice and it feels like a home town diner.

Clean place to eat with daily specials. Chicken fried steak is good ANY day, but for a change the steak fingers are a great second. I think the vanilla cokes are awesome because they add the vanilla then the coke so you get a much much better drink than the machine mix!!

Finally had to see what the hype is all about on Miss Ann's Classic Diner. Super nice order taker and excellent service. Atmosphere brings you back to "better" days. Location was not busy which I thought was odd for a Friday at 1pm. Lol "Best hamburger in Lubbock!"? That's a tough debate but certainly top 5 and maybe top 3. Bun and all of the toppings were fresh but I'm pretty sure the beef is a frozen patty. It was very good though so no real complaints. Subbed out to the onion rings. Was slightly disappointed in the number of rings since it is an upcharge but I was not disappointed at all in the taste and quality! Thickly battered but very tasty and the onions were tender. Topped it off with a Diet Dr Pepper and enjoyed the meal. Will come back again!

Burgers and fries! Yes please! First time I have eaten their food. We went there by mistake and it was a great surprise! The burger could have had a little more lettuce, but who has ever complained about wanting more lettuce. Really good food! Will most definitely order from Miss Ann's Classic again. The person answering the phone could have been friendlier, but once I tasted the burger ... It's about the food.

It’s a good enough kinda restaurant. It’s cheap and the food is good. The steak fingers looked like they’re cooked from a frozen box but they do taste good and the gravy and okra was good too. They give you a lot of fries and okra and everything is affordable and decent. I had no complaints here!

I only experienced the drive-thru so I don't know anything about dining in. I ordered my food ahead of time and didn't have to wait. I did order ahead because my boyfriend picked up food a few days before and said it was confusing because after he ordered at the window he was told to park in a spot and give them 10 minutes. They don't bring it out to you, he just waited for the time and went back through the drive-thru line and luckily his food was ready. The food was good enough that we went back for more though. It was close to where we were staying, good diner food and reasonable prices.

The burgers were actually really good! And especially the spicy curly fries; amazing! But my favorite part is the great staff, always very nice and friendly towards me. Oh, and it definitely is a good sit down place!

I ate here for the first time today. I ordered the regular cheeseburger, fries and drink combo. The burger was very good as were the fries (you got a lot). I would have rated the cheeseburger a 5 but the bun was a little burnt around the edges and top. I could have said something but I’m not that picky. The person cooking should have tossed it and prepared a new bun. I will be back I’m sure. The best part was it was only $10 which is a great price for the quantity.

Another small business gem nestled aling 34th street that is convenient to the Covenant Hospital District. Retro themed Burger hop and diner. My burger was wonderfully traditional, lightly crusted meat with juicy inside. Fresh lettuce, onions and tomatoes with a toasted bun. Option of fries or tots. Fries very crispy and potatoey at tge same time. Daily specials and drink happy hour 2-6 pm. Good prices and friendly staff.

I love this place I've been coming here for 10 years. I always say. They have the best burgers in town but lately the last two times the meat doesn't taste the same it looks like it needs seasoning or something hope it get . Better.

Decent diner style food. I had a jumbo burger and tots. It's around the $10 range for a good size meal. Service is average and the workers were friendly. Not bad but nothing amazing either.

Food was good. Prices were fair also. The employees was rude. The lady that took our order and the other lady that brought our food was both rude. Never once seen a smile from either one. Other then that, the place is nice. Due to unhappy employees I most likely won't go back though.

This is my first time eating here. It is 8:30 p.m., and the lobby was closed. I ordered my food and parked under the carport to eat. The food was fast and delicious. The staff, however, had an aggressive demeanor. If you can handle rudeness for a good meal, this is a nice spot.

Food is always great but employees are different sometimes rude when you call to place an order rude when you order through the drive thru they need to clean their tables every time we went in there nothing was cleaned or either hire more employees to help yall out, always give you different closing times never know if they are gonna close early.

New name, same place: Although Miss Ann's/Jumbo Joe's has the potential for good food, their consistency is horrendous. I quit eating there a couple of years ago because the buns were always so soggy as to be inedible. I complained once, only to have to argue with a butt-hurt employee when I asked for separate containers for my meat and bun. I gave up and went to Pete's which has essentially the same menu. With the name change to Ann's, I thought to give them another chance. And again, the bun was so soggy that I had to throw it away and eat my burger open-faced. Since the cheese was inextricably welded to the bun, I had to toss that too. This time, even the (usually good) fried zucchini was greasy. Given the sign that clearly states, "we'll make your order good if you bring it all back," and my lack of desire to drive all the way back over there for a bun, I have decided to just stick with Pete's. My caveat to those who dare: Make them put your meat and toppings in a box separate from your bun. Of course, unless you like mush.

Best burger I've had in recent memory. So why only 2 stars? The short Hispanic girl working the counter wearing her mask below her chin was not only rude, but hostile. I asked for my burger to be cooked well done. She didn't write it down and asked what else. I said no tomatoes, extra onions which she wrote on the ticket. I repeated "well done" since she didn't write it on the ticket. She said, "Calm down, I don't have to write it down". She asked if I wanted fries and I replied that I did. She then snidely said, "I don't have to write that down either". Half of the rating for any restaurant is the customer experience which is every bit important as the food. This young employee has a lot to learn and is liability to this business' success.

I got the fried mushrooms and an ice cream cone. The mushrooms had a bad taste. The breading was good but nothing else. The ice cream was good but they didn't fill the cone

The food was great. Which is a shame because the service was not. The teenager who took my order was sweet but seemed new, which I don't have a problem with. It was the older woman the kitchen who came out, and spoke rudely to the teen and to me when I was called in to get my food and make my payment. I can't imagine working with her, and I felt sorry for that kid who was doing her best. I am not going back.

The lady at the window on 12/30/23 at 815p. was rude as hell. Wouldn't let me order 2 jumbo burgers bc she said they were out of buns despite me hearing the person in the back say they still had 2. This could be the best food in the world but with poor customer service like I just received I won't be coming back until that rude lady is fired. Like seriously, get rid of her bc she's hurting your business.

Miss Ann’s needs to list their hours as “whenever they feel like it”. Last three times we’ve been there, they’re closed. They are NOT a reliable place to eat. If you’re in the neighborhood and happen to drive by and see them open, then it’s your lucky day. It’s a roll of the dice to see if they’re open. Good luck!

The customer service is terrible. we had never been there before and while looking at the menu the lady was being very disrespectful and rushing us to order then when we got to the window she gave us a super huge attitude and slamedbthe window in our face. to make things 10 times worse after my boyfriend got his food we came home to eat and he found a piece of hair in his bbq sandwich. NEVER AGAIN.

Very good food. We’ve eaten here before and it’s good food. But we called to try and call in a order. I’m asking my wife on what size of burger she wants. The guy responds with, “are you ready yet?” We told him he was being rude, he states he wasn’t being rude. That he had food cooking, that we could call back when ready. We did not go back and will take our business elsewhere. Whether you meant to be rude or not, you guys need to watch what y’all say. Someone will take it as rude and disrespectful. This place was ok. The I had the BBQ sandwich and my husband had a burger. Prices are reasonable and the food was hot and fresh. The lady taking care of us was sweet but I'm pretty sure she was the only one there when we ordered our food. There drink machine was not working when we ordered but by the time we left, it was fixed and we were offered a drink as we were leaving. While we were eating, a few more staff members showed up after I heard someone in the kitchen say, "I'm gonna fire her a$$." I had my 2 children with me and hoped my son didn't hear. Then about 5 minutes after, another employee came in and there was yelling and cussing. I assume whoever it was, was the one that was getting fired, then whoever did the firing continued to yell after the other employee had already left. I will not be returning and if we hadn't paid for our food up front I probably would have walked out, we got our food shortly after the yelling.

We drove all the way over here from Levelland, I wanted to try somewhere we've never been to before, this place looked neat. They have their hours from 10am to 10pm, well the inside was closed. It was 7pm when we got here, and nowhere does it mention that the inside is closed, and there was still customers eating inside the diner. Well y'all just lost some business. Maybe put up a sign, and update Google information that y'all close the inside at a certain time!!!!!!

Called yesterday to place an order for pick up. When I called the phone was answered but no one said anything. When I asked "hello?" The person on the other line responded with "what?!". I asked to place a pick up order (it was an hour before closing) and she informed me that the grill had been cleaned and I could only order food prepared in the fryer...I found it strange they were closing down the grill an hour before closing, but could be understandable I it's a slow night. But the customer service left much to be desired. Hopefully I'll be able to change my review after trying out the food, but customer service alone gets one star.

I ordered the Big ann Burger with mayo cheese and bacon. They sent me out a burger that more than likely waid The proper amount but what they did was put two burger patties together and didn’t even try to make it into one burger Patty so the whole time you’re eating it the burger is falling apart in your hands. On a positive note their fries were definitely hot crispy but not burnt. I also got a large soda the total was $14.28. As far as I’m concerned for that price and the quality of the burger I would much rather go to a high-end restaurant and pay five dollars more for a burger and get it the way that I want it done . Everything said and done I would not eat at this place again.

Not a mask in sight in the middle of our pandemic. Won't be returning anytime soon. There are plenty of places to get a good burger, they are just close to us. From now on I will drive a little further and be safer.

My Burger I ordered didn't taste very good at all. The bacon was awful tasted like they cooked it in the morning and left it under a heat lamp all day. I dont recommend. I hope they make this right. But probably wont be going back. If you want a Buger don't get it here.

Went today and ordered 3 burgers and a steak burger and I realized they gave me what they wanted to and not what I paid for. Seems like employees hate their jobs but I don’t care get my food right.

Absolutely terrible service. My husband and i wanted something new, decided to try this place out for dinner. As soon as we walked in i believe this middle aged black male was a cook but was rushing to lock the door after me and my husband walked in, but he was saying something we couldn’t understand or hear what was said, but he looked very upset, when he walked past us again and glared at me and my husband and said “im talking and yall act like yall cant hear” and walked straight to the back to cook. I was absolutely appalled about the way he spoke to us!

Now I love this place. Best burgers in town! But when I place an order and just me by myself its 18$ I don't expect the person at the window to roll her eyes because I did not mean to be difficult with my order. I apologized. Customer service is a biggie for me as I am in that too and I guarantee if I did that to any of my patients I would be gone. I hope that if anyone goes here they get a better experience. I know times are tough.

I just left this place. Service was horrible. Also I went in at 7:00pm on a Friday ate inside. There were people seated eating. I get my Club sandwich, which isn’t a club it’s just a ham sandwich with bacon and Kraft cheese. Then I notice a family of 4 walk up. The lobby is now closed apparently. The family of 4 leaves. They begin sweeping the floor and putting up chairs right next to me as I’m eating. I see another guy walk up and leave because the door is locked. Then I have to ask to be let out. She has to go get the keys. I leave at 7:30. There are no signs saying the lobby closes early, not even something that just came up. There was still 2 families eating when I left. If you are gonna spend money, spend it somewhere that appreciates your money a little more. I won’t be back.

Fries were cold and soggy like they have been under the warmer for awhile. Hamburger patty was burnt I ask for them to make it right and they refused said they were fixing to close. Yet the website says they closen at 10pm. They started ignoring us like we weren't even to there. Worst of it all the owner was there and didn't even try to make things better. After years of dining in and out at Miss Anns Classic diner today was the most unpleasant experience I have ever had with J the owner and his drive through waitress. Multiple times this waitress goes out of her way to be rude and abrasive and very argumentive. So today when I pulled up to drive through she had an unwelcoming look on her face so I simply asked if she was the only one working and she replied "No, do you want someone else to help you?" I did not get a chance to reply before she slide the glass slide shut and I heard her say "She doesn't want me to wait on her". Long story short when J finally came to see what I wanted he was very angry at me and said I was being rude and that I did not have the right to ask for someone else to wait on me. He asked me if I had ever asked for someone else to wait on me at any other place and I said, yes. He proceeded to chew me out and didn't want to take the time to listen to what I had to say. His waitress got away with being hateful and rude and he backed her behavior up 100% and will continue to enable her to treat his customers however she wants because of his response to this issue. Oh well, I'm just 1 customer that won't be back. What goes around comes around. Right is right and wrong is wrong. Once faithful customers like me are how your place became so successful and turn about is fair play. I don't recommend this place at all if you value courteousy and service with a smile. BTW. Owner and family members drive very expensive cars like Mercedes Benz, Lexus ....business in hamburger sales must be 🤔🤔🤔"Interesting, huh".

Food is nothing special at all. The employees look high and act funny. Its supposed to be an old timey style restaurant.But all you hear is rap music blasting from the kitchen area. The ceilings floors and tables are disgusting. Not a very good experience! will never return!
