We stopped in this tiny place on our way back home from vacation. The parking lot is tiny and very tight. But that's probably the only draw-back to this place. The atmosphere inside is very welcoming, staff is friendly and helpful, and the food is excellent, even my little picky eater finished her meal. Portion sizes were generous. Dining area and bathrooms were clean. Service was prompt. Food was hot and flavorful. If we pass through Luling again, we will plan to stop and eat here.
Food and service was great. Prices are fair. Would recommend to anyone in the area.
Food was so good, like homemade. Service was impeccable and fast. And the price was amazing, my husband and I got enchiladas with rice and beans each and queso for under $20! Chips, salsa, queso, tortillas, rice , beans & enchiladas all delicious
Fantastic food. The servings were huge and everyone was extremely friendly. The queso was out of this world.
Pretty waitress best tacos enjoy seating wen i do
They let's in!!! Yaay...Service and Food is exceptionally Great & Delicious!!❤️
Excellent good home style mexican food reminded me of my grandmother cooking when she would make our breakfast a must try place.
The food was great! Service was great! The prices are awesome! Was our first time trying after seeing some posts on Facebook. They are very nice and the food is hot and fresh. Only down side is the parking lot.
It's a really great atmosphere with little corners decorated in different themes. They had a graduation corner set up with well-designed balloon towers to take pictures. Food was excellent, great cheese enchiladas with plenty of cheese and good gravy. If you like your salsas HOT this is the place for you.
My husband and I walked in one Sunday, we were Surprise, because they had special on a Sunday. We were very satisfied with the waitress and especially. The food I will come again when we can, because we live in Seguin.
Early morning I walk in and am immediately seated by I very welcoming young man who got my drink order and had my cup of coffee and a ice water on the table in less than 2 min after which he took our order the food was promptly delivered to us. Th presentation of the food was great I had a breakfast super taco. It was huge for $5 and it was so delicious. The atmosphere was relaxing. The tables were clean and neatly laid out. Even paying for our food was pleasant and it was easy on the wallet. I would recommend this place to anyone.
We were very shocked but this place was very good i had the breakfast bacon egg cheese quesadilla, along with the potatoes and egg tacos. The tortillas were good and I'm not sure what my husband had but he ask what was their popular dish with a steak dish. Very impressed with this little restaurant We good this place by accident but we will try to find you guys again
The chicken fried steak was really good. Service was kinda slow, but nice. The restrooms need work. Even something as little as having a good toilet paper holder would be great. There is no telling how many times it has fallen on the floor. Who wants to wipe with that.
I gave it three stars for having puffy tacos. Not always easy to find puffies. Men’s restroom very rough and stinky. Decor is quite gawdy. Ripped seat covers, tacky, zero ambiance. Needs a makeover. Waitress was very pleasant and attentive. So the waitress and puffy tacos lift it up from a two star review. Anyone who gives this five stars leads a very sheltered life.
Waitress was babysitting she couldn’t seem to make eye contact or even try to smile and enjoy her job. No hashbrowns And the eggs were over scrambled. They didn’t check back on me I had to get my own ketchup. This place could be a great breakfast spot with people who actually care about the restaurant business… as I am typing this the young lady did ask me if I needed anything else however I’m finished now.
The sevice is good the food is not to our liking. We received a chip basket and two squeeze bottles of salsa, puréed tomato sauce with very little to no jalapenos or cilantro, leaned sweet with no heat nor flavor and salsa verde. The salsa verde was bitter. We order a of side pico de gallo as we often do to escape salsa not to our liking. It was ok. We ordered 2 Samuels Specials. Beef Enchilada, Bean Chalupa and Beef crispy taco. Taste like they are using a beef flavored additive in the ground beef. Either this or the ranchero sauce was ill spiced and I couldn’t eat it. My wife and I came to the same conclusion and pushed the plate back, paid and left 90% of our meal uneaten. We were disappointed. However the bright spot was the homemade flour tortillas with whipped butter. Will make to the next meal now. Unsweetened tea is $3.50, yet the special was $8.50. May want to raise prices and buy better ingredients. Will pay more for higher quality.
Let me preface this by saying I have frequented this family owned restaurant for years without any issues and have enjoyed their food but as of today I will NEVER be back. I ordered a shrimp quesadilla, something I’ve eaten from here on at least more than a handful of occasions prior. My teen points out they left the tails on the shrimp, I open it up and sure enough there they are all with tails. I alert my server who takes it back to the kitchen, brings it back and says “They said that’s how it comes” I politely push back and reaffirm I’ve never gotten them like that from here before but I’ll order something else if they’d like. She takes it back to the kitchen where someone picks off the tails and brings it right back not even a full minute later, I send it back telling my server I’m not eating that. I’m 9month pregnant and this place literally wants me to choke and die on hard shrimp tails. I go to check out and they ring all of it up as if I ate that, I ask why and they said the owner said to charge me for it because I touched it. I paid and left but I hope it was worth it to them.
Arrived about 10am ordered breakfast and food wasn't fresh. Potatoes were dry and seemed to be reheated. Ordered over easy eggs and they were over cooked. My daughter ordered 1 Pancake and it was still raw in the center. Over priced and they automatically charge 15% gratuity for party of 5 or more onlynto tack on taxes 2 . They girl at the counter said it was a service tax and a local tax .... Well damn NEVER AGAIN !!!!!
