Marie was so kind and showed us the menu! It was my first time eating here and the cheeseburger was super delicious. Lots of seafood selections as well - welcoming atmosphere

El Tablado is such a great hidden gem. We have been here several times since they opened and have enjoyed every meal. If you have not gone, you need to - highly recommend the El Tablado burger, the potato shrimp, the grilled octopus, the croquettes, the sangria…just try one of everything.

María was our server and she was awesome...well served all foid great and my cappucino was Grwat!! THANKS!!

What an experience! My girlfriend said it was the best ceviche she has had since we moved here 4 years ago. The waitress Maria was excellent and very fast to attend to us. I also want to add that the restaurant itself was very clean and put together nice. I do not write reviews and because of all of this I felt more people need to come immediately! I’m shocked it isn’t packed. We will be back, thank you!!!

What's an awesome spot. Friendly staff and they speak both Spanish and English. This place is relax and casual yet intimate and romantic. Food was delicious. I started with the pulpo (octopus) with malanga (root vegetable) puree, it was delicious and surprisingly a larger portion size than I expected. For my entree i had the ribeye steak with bacon wrapped asparagus and vegetable. The cook on the steak was perfect and accompanied by an oil/butter that was great. I finished it off with a café con leche. It's Saturday night and as I was eating they were setting up the outside patio for love music. Great place to break out and dance salsa, bachata, merengue! Definitely coming back to try so many more dishes. Come check them out as they just opened a week ago. I believe they will be a new spot to bring a date or enjoy with family.

This place is such a hidden gem, the restaurant is beautiful and the food shows that too. Truly delicious as well. The sangria here is the BEST!! It was so delicious, I think I could drink a whole pitcher next time 😋. And our server was the sweetest and very attentive. I highly recommend this place for a date night or a nice outing 🙌🌟

Very nice restaurant, good food and a nice ambiance. We had the ribeye with mashed and bacon wrapped asparagus. I love the outside area, and although I did not post it, the smoothies are really good. My wife had the pineapple/ginger smoothie. We enjoyed a good Sunday afternoon meal

We had such a great dinner we stopped in again for lunch! We didn’t stay for the music. I had the smoked and spicy sangria and they were excellent. I missed taking a photo of the grilled octopus but it was excellent too. Our server Angie was very sweet and attentive.

Sunday lunch at El Tablado. We were greated by Maria, our server. Super nice lady. She was very attentive when we requested to watch football. :) We ordered red & pink sangria, tostones relleno de pollo, and grilled snapper w malanga mash & steamed vegetable. The food was good but the malanga mash was a little dry for my taste. I told Maria that the food was good but my preference for the malanga mash was a bit smoother. To my surprise, she brought a small bowl w smooth malanga mash that was absolutely delicious. The texture was perfect. That was very nice of her. We will definitely return & I recommend that you visit this restaurant.

If I could give this place a 6 rating I would. Ribeye cooked excellent but The chimichurri was the star ! Not overly garlic with the right amount of apple cider vinegar so it gave the steak a good Tang. red snapper (and I know it was snapper bc there was the crispy skin To prove it) was flavorful, loaded baked potato is a must and will not disappoint. This place was too cute they made us a special anniversary flan♥️

Stumbled upon this gem trying to find a quick bite before the movies. The food was excellent. Fresh and fast. Maria made a lovely sangria. They only serve wine/sangria, no liquor. We ordered the croquettes, lobster bites with diabla sauce(10/10), sweet plantains, and flan. Everything was truly very good.

Me and my friend stopped by today around 10pm after a show. As we entered the staff was very friendly and professional. The outside and inside seating very nice but mostly where we were seated as you enter to the right a back Area loved the wine decor on the wall and seating arrangement!! Maria our server was very friendly and prompt. The grilled octopus with chimichuri sauce was great. My party had the breaded fish - very good, crunchy with a citrus splash, white wine pasta with lobster - they commented it was the best they’d ever had, and the squid ink pasta with shrimp - this dish they did not enjoy. Felt the sauce did not complement the pasta. They offer canned Pepsi products for soda. Did not try dessert but I plan on coming back to try the ceviche. Lots of good food options to pick from on the menu. It is on the pricier side compared to other nearby locations but it was fresh and well made. If you sit outside, be aware you will get traffic noise from Linebaugh Ave. It appears they have a live band outside as well late at night. The bathrooms were small, a little awkwardly laid out but fine and clean. It feels like a hidden gem.

The space is amazing, and the customer service is top-notch. The food is good, but I would suggest paying attention to the seasonings on certain dishes. It was a bit bland specifically the pasta I asked. Maria was incredibly helpful and provided us with an amazing experience, ALL OF THE TEAM was amazing they are doing a great job.

Little to pricey for the area(They took a deposit for table prior to our Resv.), food took a long time to come out, menu was sort of difficult to read but the food was pretty good

I realy wanted to like this place. It has been open for about a year. Pictures and words on the web site are not accurate. No martini for example and the supposide famous fish chiccuron looks nothing like the site versus real life. The ceviche was good. The pork chop was grilled ham and the octopus undercooked and not spicy at all. It was cold in the dining room due to the slow closing doors and back door to the restroom not closing fully. Also no music at all. Whomp. Would have tried a steak but based on the pork choo not sure. Going to a restaurant where english is not spoken is never an issue so dont let that stop you gringos please. Support local restaurants.

We encountered several issues during our visit. We made a reservation for a party of 10 for Valentine’s Day, yet we were seated in a cramped room that felt very uncomfortable. The restaurant had run out of several items, including black beans, and did not have enough meat to prepare the tablones, which is one of their specialties. Additionally, the quality of the food was disappointing. My fish was dry, and the tostones were hard. The service was equally unsatisfactory, which made the overall experience even more frustrating. It was very disappointing to have such a poor experience on what was meant to be a special evening. Fortunately, we enjoyed each other’s company, but as a group we agreed that we would not return.

After watching several online advertising videos, I decided to give it a try. The place is beautiful, and the service was excellent; however, the food was the worst I've had in a long time. My fish fillet was not properly cooked; it was chewy and had no flavor, as if it had been cooked very early in the morning and then reheated upon ordering. Same with the pulp, not sure if it was just a bad day for the shef but I won't be coming back ever again. Best of luck.

Was really excited to try this place. Beautiful space. Well dressed staff. 2 large projectors playing celebrity basketball kind of ruins the vibe though. Eclectic menu, but the food was really bad. The fish tasted sour and I couldn't eat it. Shrimp was ok. Pasta disappointing. Insult to injury we were told 2 sides were included with each entree, but some were charged. When asked about it I was told that's the price. I inquired if the menu showed the extra charges. No, it does not. ok. Will definitely not be back.

I've never written a bad review or many reviews in general, this is the first time I have ever disliked a restaurant. We went for Mother's Day and it was a complete disappointment. I felt so bad for my mom. The service was kinda bad, we barely saw our server in our time there, and I guess it makes sense since at the end we saw that the service fee was included (18%) . It took more than two hours for us two when the restaurant was almost empty. Also, the server did not mention they don't do free refills and we ended up paying $16 dollars because one glass of lemonade was 8 dollars. We ordered the Caribbean Ceviche to start. It took forever and when it did arrive it looked like the plantain chips that came with it were store bought so no idea why we had to wait so long. It tasted okay, nothing great but we ate it all because at that point we were super hungry. The worst part though was my mom's lobster pasta. Even in Applebees' fettuccini Alfredo has some flavor. This one was just completely bland. How does one manage to mess up pasta so much to the point it has no flavor? Anyway, the server did offer to have them remake it but we didn't want to wait another thirty minutes so my mom took it home to make it better but I don't think there's anyway to save it. The only good part was the love music. But either way, would not recommend. Stay away!
