BAREHUÄ 📍DÓNDE: C/ León, 23 🍽 RESEÑA: Barehuä es uno de nuestros favoritos en el Barrio de las Letras. Tienen su propio obrador en el local, todo se hace aquí. Llevan cinco años en el barrio y ofrecen desayunos, brunch, comidas… Sus raíces son venezolanas y apuestan por el producto de calidad y sostenible. El resultado es una carta muy buena, tanto si solo quieres tomarte un café con un dulcecito o si quieres comer. La atención es muy agradable y ella servicio es muy rápido. Se pide y se paga en caja, pero ellos te lo acercan a la mesa cuando está listo. Nosotros pedimos: -Huevos turcos (15€): Dos huevitos hechos a baja temperatura, salsa de yogurt griego, aceite chili picante y pan. Espectaculares. Subiditos de picante, con mucha salsa y una consistencia muy rica. -Patacón Barehua (13€): Plátano frito con mix de verdes, pulled pork y salsas de la casa. Nuestro favorito. Está en la sección de compartir, pero bien podría ser un principal para comer, porque es bastante contundente. -Tosta de pollo (12€): Base de guacamole, cebolla morada encurtida y salsa (cilantro o yogurt-menta). Si prefieres una tosta, esta es una maravilla. Pollo jugoso, salsa muy buena y un sabor fresco y delicioso. -Tiramisú (4,50€): Sabor suavecito, muy cremoso y con el punto justo de amargor. Nos gustó mucho y es bien contundente. -Tarta de queso llanero (3€): Si quieres un bocado más pequeño, pero muy original (no conocemos otro sitio en Madrid donde hagan la tarta de queso con el llanero), tiene que probarla. Muy buena y diferente. Además, para beber tienen mucha variedad de bebidas frías y calientes. Nosotros pedimos la limonada con papelón (4€) y de maracuyá (4€), muy refrescantes. ⚠️ A DESTACAR: Es petfriendly. 💳 PRECIO MEDIO: 💵💵 🏆 PUNTUACIÓN: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Excelente lugar para hacer un bruch. Muchas opciones a buen precio y todo riquísimo, tienen carta y opción de menú para brunch. El ambiente del local es muy tranquilo. Repetiremos sin duda, cuando volvamos por Madrid.

Es uno de mis sitios favoritos de Madrid. Sus cachitos y tortitas de queso llanero son un lujo. Buena música y la atencion super alegre y cariñosa.

Desayuno fantástico en el Barrio de las Letras: calidad y buen precio que invitan a repetir. Huevos con espinaca y queso feta, perfectamente cocinados, y un flat white hecho con auténtico cariño. Un lugar ideal para empezar el día.

I should have taken a picture before we inhaled the food. Probably the best lunch we had while in Spain at this cute cafe. Chicken sandwich and empanadas are highly recommended. Staff was very friendly as well.

Great place for a toasted sandwich and coffee. The cakes we had were the best we've had in Madrid (and we've tried a few). The gentlemen serving were friendly and polite (also not happening in too many places). Definitely recommended! 😃

I went for the matcha and pistachio croissant and it was really good. Best pistachio croissant ever but the matcha is ok . You cant really taste much of the matcha

A great place for brunch. We got advantage of the offer they have for breakfast and ordered the menu that included juice, tea(or coffee), yogurt, a small biscuit and the eggs. The food was delicious. The people working were very polite and helpful. Definetely recommended!

We absolutely loved everything we tried here. We got the three mini empanadas which were crispy and delicious. We also loved the green sauce it came with. We had the pulled pork toast and added mushrooms. The pork was so flavorful. Lastly, we had the pistachio croissant which was flaky and had an amazing filling. We would love to come back and try more.

Fantastic, quiet little breakfast spot in the Huertas neighborhood of Madrid. Service is friendly even if you speak very little Spanish. We ordered eggs & bacon and eggs, spinach and cheese both if which came with sourdough toast. Also enjoyed ham, cheese and egg in a croissant on another visit. Great coffee and tea and reasonable prices. Plus we had a bird visit us both times!!

What a wonderful spot...our eggs dishes were super tasty...bread so flavorful! The almond croissant was one of the best I've ever had!!! So wish we had more time so we could try all the other amazing things 😁

Incredible! Food, atmosphere and service were top notch! The coffee was incredible and we enjoyed the selection of breakfast items! From the ham and cheese croissant to the scrambled eggs, everything was worth a try. Though, the best on show was the mushroom cream toast. It was phenomenal. A little bit of chili oil, a healthy serving of greens and this most delectable mushroom spread. I would recommend this as your first try!

Excelente atención y ambiente. Nos gustó mucho el concepto y los precios nos parecieron muy atractivos para la zona en la que estamos. De los dos brunch que pedimos nos quedamos con la tosta de pernil, muy muy rica. La limonada con papelón esta ultra buena, para repetir. Lo que nos flipó fue su cinnamon roll, no hemos probado en Madrid ninguno como este. Para nada seco y con mucho sabor a canela. La tarta de zanahoria también muy muy buena, para nada empalagosa.

El te chai muy bueno. Además lo sirvieron a una temperatura perfecta. La bollería riquísima. Para una merienda va muuuu bien. Cambiaría algo del mobiliario para hacerlo más acorde a la estética y más bonito

This is a nice place to have brunch and/or breakfast. They do a varied menu where you can have pasteries, sandwiches yougharts and/or hot food. They also have nice coffee. It is quite expensive for Spain to eat here but the food is very nice.

Muy amable la atención. Pedimos una tarteleta de limón, croissant de jamón y queso y dos café con leche grandes. La opción de café grande no estaba en la carta y salieron 7,20 € los dos y eso me enteré cuando me cobró porque no me avisó que no era el que decía en la carta. La tarteleta estaba rica aunque podría haber estado mejor y el croissant estaba rico también. No volvería porque es caro para lo que ofrece, todo salió 17,70 €

El café estaba bueno. Algunos postres tenían mejor pinta de lo que luego sabían (muy postureable para mi gusto). Otras observaciones: Negativo. El baño estaba bastante sucio. Positivo. Dejan entrar perros y el servicio es bueno.

Had a nice slice of lemon pie here, but the coffee was rather bland and 1 of our 2 coffees contained milk despite ordering it black (& having it confirmed back to us at the till).

Came in for breakfast after checking for the best pistachio croissant in the area. Got disappointed with the texture , no filling of pistachio on the croissant , and the coffee as expected was not great compared to the other cheaper local resto. ( it has a bitter taste and doesn’t seems strong enough ) The atmosphere is good , and clean but food wise I would go somewhere else. They do have wifi except in weekends and holidays as their sign says. Service is good. The best pistachio croissant is in Segovia.

€5 for the horrible cheesecake. It was so dry and the top was literally jam/jelly from a jar or can. Never again. €3.50 each for hazelnut and vanilla lattes. Taste was good but not worth the cost. Cade con leche was good. €2.50 for it. Tres leche cake was good but a bit much at €4.50. The chubby waitress at the counter with a short high pony had abysmal customer service skills. Borderline rude. The other waitress was much more pleasant. Not wasting my money here again. No wonder they were empty at 2.30 in the afternoon.

Please go there, if you want a priviI3ged wh-it-ee hippie man, who's badIy appro-pria-ting bIa-ck ppI to tell you to leave for using your computer on a Saturday morning, even after you've replied that'd you'd put it away to have breakfast, but the man insists on a refund anyway, because how else is he supposed to feel like he's helping the world heal if he doesn't ban computers, and kick out customers, yet all his other customers are on the phone. Oh And also if you want to pay close to 5 euros for a badly made coffee. Thank you.
