Primer café de especialidad abierto en Madrid, llevo viniendo años y solo mejora. Los batch son siempre excelentes algo no muy comun. Los huevos turcos y la tostada de jamon rivalizan en calidad con cualquier desayuno de la capital. Es una de las cafeterias top 5 de Madrid, sin duda - el resto son Hola Coffee de Lagasca, La Deseada de José Abascal, Acid de Barquillo, Mision Cafe de Calle Reyes. El servicio, algo frío y distante pero correcto. La atmosfera muy tranquila, ideal para leer o charlar con tranquilidad. Me gusta especialmente la iluminacion, elegante, calida.

Comfort food in a unique and comfortable place. I had a cheeseburger and a beer, two of my favorite things. What can I say? I know, go to La Pasa Gin Bar even if you are not a gin drinker. Have something else where the staff makes sure you are happy. Bathrooms were very clean.

La Pasa Gin Bar's atmosphere is magical. The decor is enchanting. From the moment we stepped in the staff was very welcoming and attentive. Our server Johan was wonderful. His recommendations were excellent, from the gin all the way thru to the cheesecake. And he was happy to practice his English with us☺️ I'm only sorry we discovered La Pasa on our last night in Madrid. I highly recommend it and look forward to returning one day.

Excellent! The shrimp in garlic butter is as good as everyone says. So good! The fried chicken and patacones are excellent. We're not in Madrid for long but we're already planning to have another meal here. Expansive gin selection with a good gin cocktail. The servers were friendly, helpful, and patient.

Absolutely loved everything about La Pasa Gin Bar! The place is beautifully decorated with a warm and inviting ambiance—something I wish we had more of back home in New York. The food was outstanding and very reasonably priced for the quality and experience. We had the Garlic Prawns in a clay pot, and they were hands down the best I’ve ever had—even better than what I’ve had at traditional Spanish restaurants. The spices and garlic were perfectly balanced, making each bite unforgettable. We also ordered the Pan-Fried Picanha Loin with pepper sauce, and it was cooked to perfection—juicy, tender, and full of flavor. The Ham and Boletus Croquettes were delicious as well, and the Margarita we ordered was well-crafted. Our server, Lorenzo, who also happens to be the owner, made the experience even more memorable. He’s been living in Madrid for over 25 years and clearly takes pride in his restaurant. Before we left, he even treated us to free shots of Mama Juana, which was such a kind and personal touch. Can’t recommend this spot enough. Great food, great people, and great vibes!

Visiting from Austin, TX. The space is beautiful and cozy. Wall colors and lighting is soft in the eyes. Service is superb! The menu has a bit of everything; mostly, Whole Foods and made fresh (meaning it does not come from a box). I am a native of the Dominican Republic and was happy to find a restaurant that offers Dominican Cuisine staples, but with a twist! Yes, this is fusion made to perfection elevating Dominican dishes without losing the dish authenticity. BRAVO!, to the chef and administrator of this restaurant. The drinks menu is extensive and with high quality spirits. If you don’t drink alcohol, there are options. We tried the cheesecake and it was PERFECT! We dropped in last night for a glass of wine. We were warmly greeted by the staff. The bar is so very interesting. The chairs in front were very comfortable. The red wine (Ribera) was absolutely fabulous, full bodied and delicious complex flavours. We will be back again and again.

Lo mejor de este lugar, sin duda, es la comida y el café. Pedimos tanto tostadas como bizcochos, estos últimos están impresionantes. Una esponjosidad y sabor inigualables, solo por eso merece la pena ir. El café es de especialidad y bien preparado por la barista. Atienden rápido y eficaces, lo que resulta en poco tiempo de espera y buena calidad de productos. El espacio es agradable y muy bonito y tiene un buen hilo musical. Lo único que no fue del todo de nuestro agrado fue la persona que nos atendió, que fue un poco seca, quizás tuvo un mal día. El café lo sirven en vaso por defecto, recomiendo tenerlo en cuenta y pedir que lo sirvan en taza, para mí es muy importante que un café tan bueno como el que sirven, se beba en taza, no en vaso de cristal. Y también humos de algunos vehículos que pasaban por la puerta, pero eso se arregla con no sentarse cerca de la ventana. Por lo demás todo genial, realmente nos gustó todo, y repetiríamos gustosamente teniendo en cuenta los puntos anteriores.

Cafe de especialidad correcto. Iba con la idea de un pour over con algun origen de proceso anaerobico pero solo tenian variedades en lavado. Finalmente tome un batch-brew de Colombia, que me pareció muy correcto. El local, aunque la decoración es bonita no me resultó un ambiente especialmente acogedor.

El café muy rico, el lugar muy lindo, chiquito pero con mucha onda, la carrot cake muy rica, la porción es enorme, difícil terminárselo solo. Le faltan opciones de pastelería y salado pero en sí está muy bien.

Rico cafe. El lugar tiene una onda muy copada, la atencion es buena pero se formo un poco de fila cuando habia poca gente… Destaco el grano que usan.

Un lugar pequeño pero con buen ambiente. El café y el té son muy ricos, y la comida igual. El personal es amable. Aunque estaría bueno que las cosas dulces de bollería que ofrecen durante el día (que no están en la carta) les pusieran precio..

Cafetería en el barrio de Malasaña, en la ilustre calle de La Palma. Siempre llena de gente con inquietudes y muy buena atmósfera. El café que ponen está bastante bueno y no es excesivamente caro ( tampoco barato ). Los camareros son muy agradables y te aconsejan y ayudan sin problema. Muy buen sitio para quedar y tomar un café por la mañana o a media tarde. La relación calidad precio es aceptable.

El café esta muy bueno pero la tapa del café para llevar es de esas planas que a mi personalmente no me gustan. Me pedí un bagel full equipo y la verdad que no me gustó mucho, para mi gusto un sabor demasiado fuerte que llega a parecer artificial. El lugar es acogedor pero excesivamente oscuro.

Fuimos hoy y el servicio podría mejorar. Pedimos cafés con budines, solo nos trajeron el café, pasados 25 minutos (sin haber tomado el café porque esperábamos la otra parte del pedido) le pedí al barista si podía recalentarlo un poco (porque, repito, los trajeron 25 minutos antes que el budín, que por cierto si no íbamos a preguntar por ellos nunca nos los traían). El barista se lo tomó un poco mal, y me trajo el mismo café en una taza más pequeña (repito, estaba sin tomar el café, me devaluó media taza). Cómo su respuesta no había sido buena desde el principio decidí no decirle más nada, pero creo que podrían ponerle un poco más de onda a la atención al cliente. La música un poco fuerte al entrar a la mañana, la comida y los cafés bien, a buena temperatura si no tenés que esperar media hora tu pedido.
