A pesar de ir sin reserva, nos han dado una mesa, donde hemos disfrutado de una muy buena comida y un trato del personal perfecto. Sin duda lo recomiendo. Entre semana tienes dos menús, uno del día y otro de temporada. Precio asequible y cantidades adecuadas para no quedarte con hambre.

Cada vez que vengo a Madrid, siendo de Málaga, tengo clarísimo dónde comer: Restaurante Public. La atención es excepcional, siempre amables y pendientes de todo. El servicio es rápido y súper profesional. Y qué decir de la comida… ¡deliciosa! Platos con muchísimo sabor, bien presentados y de calidad. Es un sitio al que siempre vuelvo porque nunca decepciona. Recomendadísimo. Siempre salgo encantada.

We found this elegant restaurant casually,on a rainy day. Since it was a bit earlier than the usual time spanish have lunch,we managed to find a table easily. We enjoyed the food,especially the lobster lasagna. The service was attentive and fast.

My wife and I went to Public for dinner on our last night in Madrid. Friendly greeting without a reservation. Restaurant was quiet and we had a nice table next to a window. Staff were attentive but did not rush us. My wife and I both chose the menu of the day option which in hindsight was a bit of an error for that time of night as the meal sizes were very generous in our opinion. Each course was delicious and the set price was very good value as it also included bread and a drink. We really enjoyed our night at Public and would highly recommend it.

Could not recommend Public enough. We visited Madrid during our holiday in Alicante and only had one night in the capital. We found Public and decided to head there based on what we had seen online. Incredibly surprised at the amazing atmosphere, impeccable service and absolutely fantastic value for money on the food. I would come back in a heartbeat and would recommend to anyone looking to enjoy a good Spanish meal with friends, family or a business associate.

I have been going to this restaurant every day for a week now for the menu del dia and it always exceeds expectations. The menu del dia is only €11.65, and the food is always delicious. They also don't salt the food as heavily as other spanish restaurants which makes the experience even better.

This place was great. Good service, great cozy atmosphere as it describes. Menu is Mediterranean with a flair of everything for anyone. My wife had the spinach cannolis that were rich in flavor but tasty. The appetizers are actually the way to go here. Plentiful and you can share them with one another very easily. Portions are good. Great value of a place. Ordered a Vodka very cold and straight up Martini. They nailed it. This place is awesome.

La comida está muy rica pero el servicio es bastante lento. La oreja con patatas lo mejor, el risoto un poco soso.

Céntrico y bien comunicado, el personal muy profesional y buena comida acorde a los precios. Si quieres pasar un rato agradable no dudes en ir, la única pega por decir algo es que tienes que ir con reserva.

Está bien por la gran variedad de comida y toda esta rica. Hay varios restaurantes parecidos en madrid de la misma cadena. Y hacen bien su trabajo. No es espectacular la comida pero cumple con las necesidades sobre todo para grupos grandes está genial.

The venue was nice and not loud. The customer service was good. As for the food, the bread that came with the olive oil was hard. I wouldn't get that again unless the bread was fresh. The salmon and veggies tasted good, but could've tasted better if it was not too greasy. So I had the wash the food down with red tea.

I would order "a la carte" instead, much better value. Dislikes: tables near to each other; all goes very fast, they work to reduce the time of table rotation

Comida escasa y poco abundante. La calidad de la comida es buena pero en cada plato poca cantidad para lo que se paga tanto en entrantes como en platos a la carta. Conocía este restaurante desde hace años pero ya no es igual. El servicio es lento estuvimos 15 minutos esperando hasta que vinieron a preguntarnos qué íbamos a comer y beber. No volveremos a repetir.

Restaurante muy bonito y acogedor, buena atención. Hemos venido porque nos lo habían recomendado pero realmente la comida no ha sido lo esperado. Una pena porque veníamos con muchas expectativas, no es que esté mala pero varios de los platos por el precio que tenían sí que esperábamos una mejor calidad, la ensalada de burrata no tenía sabor alguno, ponía que venía con tomates asados y no lo estaban, y el tataki de atún tampoco sabía a nada. Lo mejor fueron los entrantes pero aún así nada sorprendente

It was recommended by a family member. Hes a local resident. The place was great, food was well prices for portions however waiters and bar service was weak. Would go again, but wait around and study tp seat in a good waiter area if that is even available. They offer "free bread" which was great, but later saw $1€ charge a piece in the bill. The waitier didn't remove the charge as he was not the one that served it. Felt "nickel and dimed"

De todo lo que pedimos, solo me gustó el café. La berenjena fría. La crema de marisco sabía a fumé de paella. Si estaban buenas, pero nos encontramos un pelo en una de ellas. La lasaña de bogavante, dos láminas de pasta, nadando en un baño de caldo. El segundo lo trajeron muy tarde después de haber comido el primero. Yo pedí pato y estaba templado, además la ciruelas un poco pasadas. La hamburguesa estaba pasable. El postre de crema catalana con helado de turrón, no lo recomiendo. En definitiva, es un lugar que creo que no volveré, lo único salvable es el ambiente del restaurante es muy bonito
