HOLY COW!! This place was amazing. Expensive? Yes. I got 2 drinks for $28 BUT the customer service was amazing. We got an appetizer that was a fried rice cube- delicious. I got the kofta burger and I learned I’m not the biggest fan of lamb but it was still delicious. Their fries are great. The honeybee drink (alcoholic) we amazing. Our waitress was so friendly and patient!! And it was just a fun atmosphere. Will be going once a month for sure.

Traveling, and toward the end of a long day, my wife, our son, and I were looking for a relaxing and comfortable rest, a chance to sit, talk, and enjoy some good food. We found all of that and very friendly professional service as well. We shared a couple of apps, and had very good cheeseburgers and fries and a couple if drinks, while enjoying the evening breeze at an outdoor table. Everything we wanted for ending a great day together… and happy friendly girls - even at the end of their long shift - to see that we were satisfied. A very nice experience. Thank you!

I hesitate to write this review for fear that this hidden gem will become swamped. The food is absolutely amazing! My daughter and I stopped at 3 restaurants in Lexington on Sat. night that had 35 min. waits. We were starving and somehow stumbled upon East End and there was no wait. We ordered the hummus that came with chopped olives, whipped feta, fresh pita and veggies, it was delicous! My daughter ordered the Asian bowl and I had the burger and fries. The Asian bowl was full of flavor and was very satisfying. The burger was cooked to perfection on a buttered brioche bun and the fries were hot and crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. We will be back and only hope it doesn't become to crowded from all of the positive reviews!!

Great drink selection. Food is tasty. I need to try more on the menu but I've been happy with my orders. When I saw that the menu was inspired by classic Asian dishes, my interest was piqued. I haven't noticed a lot of that inspiration in the dishes I had, but I'm down to try more. It's a nice date spot and I've heard it's a great spot to take clients or employees.

Stopped by here for dinner and a beer before going to a Burl show. Had heard good things through a Lexington foodie group so we wanted to try it. We heard they had the best chicken sandwich in town and we were not disappointed! I tried the spicy chicken sandwich and it was phenomenal, my friends had the special hot brown version of the chicken sandwich, and they even offered happy hour chicken sandwiches that were a little bit smaller but still perfect. Everyone cleaned their plates - amazing fries, too - and I would have taken a picture of my burger but I was so excited to try it! Will definitely be back.

The food here was delicious. The watermelon margarita was perfect! Our waitress was very helpful with the menu. Although the best part of our meal was definitely the donut bread pudding. My husband isn't a huge fan of bread pudding but this one he absolutely loved!

Absolutely adored the place. Cute little restaurant and very affordable. My sandwich was among the better chicken sandwiches I’ve had. I accidentally ordered the wrong dressing with my salad because I wanted to sound cool to the waitress and I didn’t really like it but that was a me issue. Everything I’ve eaten here has been amazing. Great for a work lunch or date night but my favorite is their brunch food! Love the spicy Thai twist on their breakfast sandwiches. Plenty of parking and rarely a wait for a table, especially if the weather is nice outside.

Our group of 5 was pleasantly surprised by the amazing food and service. We were hoping to eat somewhere else and told it was a 2 hour wait. Walked up here and were immediately seated on the patio and greated with a smile. The waffles, biscuits, breakfast burrito and spicy chicken sandwich were all amazing. Seriously probably the best biscuits I have ever had and our most critical "foodie" said the spicy chicken sandwich may be enough for him to drive 5 hours for just to have it again. Highly recommend.

Everything 10/10. Fried fish platter was crispy and perfect. Peruvian chicken sandwich interesting and excellent with the sweet potato fries in the sandwich.

We went to this newer place for a Valentines Day dinner the day before. It was perfect! They had specials, but also still had their full menu. The drinks were outstanding. We enjoyed them and all the food we had. Their menu has an Asian flair, but still familiar. Service here was attentive and fun without being overbearing. I highly recommend it.

Loved the food here! Started off with a sour beer ceviche which was incredibly tasty. For the meal, I went with the lamb Kofta burger. Have never tried a Mediterranean style burger before, and it was excellent. I'm a big guy and it was a little small for me, but taste was on point. My girlfriend got the tuna bowl which was plated beautifully and the taste was equally as good! They have a very good selection of beers and specialty cocktails we ordered a mezcal margarita and a sour beer from pretentious barrel house in Columbus. Both were amazing! Will definitely visit again and try out some of their other menu items! My only criticism was the outdoor seating on main Street is very busy, but not much they can do about that! I will probably sit inside next time.

Food was very good and overall reasonable prices. We used to he Josie's mainstays, but after prices for most breakfast items rose to $15-18/plate, it's just hard to justify for eggs, meat, and a biscuit so tried East End and we were not disappointed! Food portions were decent, and everything we tried was very good. We'll definitely be back

Love this place. Great lunch spot for friends, families, or date! Ordered the spicy chicken sandwich it was wonderful with a Milk Beer stout. The black tea is exceptional. My daughter was with us and we just ordered her Chicken Tenders. I would recommend adding a kids menu! Other than that, That's the only thing!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at East End Tap and Table in Lexington, and I can confidently say it was one of the best meals I've had in a long time! As someone who has lived in Lexington for 21 years, I’ve tried my fair share of chicken sandwiches, but their Spicy Chicken Sandwich takes the cake. The sandwich features Spicy Thai Pepper Breading, which gives it an incredible crunch and a kick that I absolutely loved. The Thai Pepper Hot Honey adds just the right touch of sweetness to balance the heat. Topped with creamy slaw, pickles, and fresh tomato slices, every bite was a flavor explosion. My friend ordered the Asian Bowl, and they absolutely loved it! The freshness of the ingredients and the bold flavors made it a standout dish. They couldn’t stop raving about how satisfying it was. The service at East End Tap and Table was fantastic, too. Our server was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. It really added to the overall experience. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and check this place out. I can't wait to go back for another round of that amazing chicken sandwich!

I went here for my birthday. Excellent food, service, and ambiance. The raspberry mimosa was extraordinary. And I don't drink, normally. Only on special occasions, like this, my 40th birthday. It had me feeling a little giddy about 4 sips in. No joke. 😂 I'm a definite lightweight these days though. Lovely experience. Parking was a breeze as well, considering the location. Enjoy! I did.

Went here for the first time for brunch on Saturday. My friend and I loved it. We arrived before the place was packed so we didn’t have to wait for a table. Our waitress was nice and provided great service. And the food was amazing! My friend had the Spicy Chicken Biscuit and I had the Little Chicken Honey butter biscuits. So good! We want to go back for the stuffed waffles and Breakfast Burrito soon!

So much more than a bar. This is somewhere you should be checking out even if you do not drink. Food was packed with flavor and fresh. The presentation of their food is classy. I was visiting Lexington for a concert a few weeks ago. Im still thinking about how delicious the asian bowl was. I now make something similar at least once a week! I got mine with rice and chicken, added avocado. Portions are generous price is reasonable. If I come back to Kentucky I will be returning. I remember my server was super friendly and was knowledgable about the menu and the ingredients, as someone with allergies I was confident in her recommendations. The owner was even present while we ate and was checking in on tables.

One of my first times dining there and the food was delicious! The waitress was wonderful and very helpful with some dishes that she felt would represent the restaurant best while also being very filling (I was starving!). The food was wonderful and the staff was helpful and nice. Also, I just recently moved within a mile of the restaurant so I will certainly be visiting many more times in the future. I can't wait for summer when I can enjoy the garage door bar outside!

Went to Lexington for an oil change and was looking for a Greek restaurant. Stumbled across this place while going through restaurants. When we first arrived the place was full and loud. The food smelled delicious and the decor was on target. The waitress cleaned off a table close to the bar and we sat looking everything over. Ordered delicious drinks and the Asian salad was prefect for fresh and filling. I will go back and I've told co workers about it.

One of the best spots in Lexington for brunch, lunch or dinner. We arrived after 1pm on a Sunday, expecting not to get to a packed place… but people kept coming in and out while we were there, and we totally understand why: their food is simply delicious! I ordered the curry of the day, which was yellow curry with chicken, and my husband had the breakfast burrito. Both dishes were full of flavor, and well presented. Service was great, the atmosphere is relaxed and cozy. Can’t wait to go back!

My new favorite brunch place. They had call ahead seating, not super busy at opening. 2 meals and 2 alcoholic drinks for $50 + tip. Food was delicious. Wait staff were attentive but not overbearing. Chicken and waffles: waffle was fluffy and light, chicken was excellently cooked. batter wasn't too heavy. Monsta biscuit sandwich very tasty, sausage gravy covered entire biscuit and able to switch scrambled egg out for eggs over easy. bloody mary was good nothing crazy

Their fall bourbon slush was amazing! Peruvian steak fries app wonderful! The Peruvian chicken sandwich, completely different flavor than the sauce on the appetizer fries, but totally unique and amazing as well! Sooo impressed!

We started our excellent experience with a crispy rice and spicy tuna appetizer (HIGHLY recommend) at East End Tap & Table. The salmon was delicious, cooked perfectly and the fresh green beans were a nice surprise! The Brussel sprout and shrimp bowl was absolutely perfect! Great drinks, atmosphere and service.

Loved it! My first visit was fabulous! Easy and plenty of parking access in the parking lot or nearby garage. Seating was quick since it wasn’t too busy on a cold Friday after 12:30. The waiter was great, very patient, informative and attentive. Our glasses were always refilled with the tea we ordered and water was placed on our table in a pitcher if we needed refills. That’s always a plus so we wouldn’t have to wait for a refill if it was busier and the wait staff had less time. One beautiful note for me is that they did not bring straws for our drinks - hopefully it was to save from using unnecessary plastic waste. I didn’t ask for straws so I don’t know if they are available... I would assume they would be if you asked. I’ve started carrying my own metal straw to use if I need it. We could have ordered several lovely sounding cocktails or beers, of course, but I had to go back to work, so the drink menu will have to wait for another visit. The food menu is very interesting with options all across the board for different tastes. There are definitely vegetarian options and some can be adapted to vegan. They are also willing to help with other dietary restrictions, so that is very refreshing. I ordered the Kofta burger because it sounded so different. It was and it was delicious. My lunch partner is a Reuben sandwich connoisseur and he gave a thumbs up to their version - which I sampled and do agree that it was tasty! The owner came out to greet us and we chatted with her for quite a bit, she’s great! Other things to note, the interior is very nice. They did a great job with the remodel. It’s got a cool downtown vibe and will be a fun spot in the summer when they can put some seating outdoors and open the garage window. There are also very spacious and clean gender neutral restrooms. They have a super fun weekend brunch menu that I would love to come back and check out. There is an Irish heritage here so I asked about Saint Patrick’s day festivities and they will definitely have some recipes to cater toward the celebration. I’m planning to come back to try them!

This is one of my wife's and my favorite spots in Lexington. The service is really solid whether you're at the bar or at a table. I often see the owners (or people I think are the owners) hustling and helping keep the floor flowing. The food is always really good, and the drinks are excellent. It's also appropriately priced. The crispy rice and spicy tuna app is a favorite. I also really like the kofta burger. Messy but delicious. All the bowls are really good, too, and lots of lighter options. All in all, a nice place to stop in for dinner.

This spot is such a gem!! The happy hour is truly unbeatable — the deals on food and drinks are great. I tried the $6 chicken sandwich for happy hour and I was BLOWN AWAY. It was amazing, and I only paid $6! I also tried the Buffalo Chicken Samosas, which is found to be so unique and I ate them all very quickly! They are a must-try, in my opinion! The drink deals are also great! The service was absolutely WONDERFUL. My waiter was absolutely lovely and full of kind remarks, constant check-ins, fun banter, and sweet conversation. They truly cared so so much about my visit to the restaurant and kept checking for ways to make it even better. I loved getting to chat with them and I hope they are working when I (inevitably) stop back in! The atmosphere is good and simple, but nice! The atmosphere/decor/etc. is not what I took away as the primary draw, though. I would say that the draw is the delicious food (especially at the prices available during happy hour) and the considerate, caring service. I highly recommend!!

Went for late lunch early dinner-ish on Friday. Place was busy. We had a nice table by the corner. Our wait staff was friendly and attentive. We had empanadas (highly recommended). Then for entree we had crispy southern fried chicken sandwich and cod sandwich. We also added crispy brussel sprouts and cream soda. It was a pleasant experience. Very good cocktails and food. It is on the pricey side but a fun date spot. I also noticed the kid's menu looked good so I would love to bring my son next time. The empanadas were quite good. My husband enjoyed the spicy chicken sandwich, though we wished it was much spicier, and crispier. I absolutely loved the spicy tuna bowl, it was delicious. We sat at the bar and watched a cooking show which was perfect. Will definitely be back.

Chicken and waffles was amazing. Chicken biscuit was outstanding. We love this place. 2nd visit.. no longer taking reservations. Meal was as delicious as last time. Servers were very nice and attentive. Most other places on Friday at 6 were booked solid but this place happened to have a couple of seats. Place was very busy but accommodating and our server Creek was very attentive. The menu is very straightforward with a good fusion of Asian delights. Drinks were good and had a good beer selection. Our food was amazing and we loved everything we tried. Good evening spent downtown at East End Tap and Table.

This is a nice upscale casual restaurant at the start of the East End of downtown (hence the name). It has a very eclectic menu. On this particular visit I tried the empanadas and the Asian Bowl with brown rice. Both were very well plated and delicious. The burger and fries are also very good. The service was pleasant, attentive, and on point. It is also quite reasonably priced. It is certainly worth the visit.

We were given the brunch menu but the regular lunch menu was also provided on asking. Food was really good and presentation was very appealing as well. Definitely will recommend.

Gluten Free Review: The place has an awesome ambience, vibe, food is great, and the service is great! I have celiac, and went a little under prepared. I should have researched the restaurant more fully before going. That being said, the server took my questions seriously about which food to order and the manager came out to verify information. I can’t tell you how much I appreciated the care and attention they took. If you’re looking for a place that has GF options; this isn’t the place. The only thing to order is salad (which was delicious). And they do not have any separate spaces/plates/etc to prepare food. Again, they were very attentive and helpful! But, I wouldn’t recommend coming if you have celiac. As a restaurant, I would just encourage you to have more information on your menu and website. You absolutely do not have to accommodate any dietary restrictions. But having the information clearly on your menu and on your website would help customers and your servers too. My husband has the spicy tuna bowl and loved it. The spicy Paloma drink for him was also delicious. Thank you for a great time with our friends and being so helpful.

Food Fun Adventure Saturday took Fat Man Reviews to East End Tap and Table in Lexington, KY. East End is a casual spot serving scratch classic American fare with an international twist. I started with a Dirty Old Fashioned made with Buffalo Trace, orange bitters, brown sugar simple syrup and boozy cherry. This was sweet and really well-made, the bourbon was the star We tried the Buffalo Chicken Wontons and the Empanadas. The wontons were fried great but maybe a bit short on filling, one didn't have any filling at all. The homemade bleu cheese was awesome. The empanadas were cooked well, but the filling was a little bland. The Peru sauce was tasty kinda like a wasabi mustard, the pickles were crunchy and vinegary, mixing all 3 together it made for a pretty nice bite. I also tried the KY Spring Sour, made with Four Roses, fresh lemon and lavender simple syrup. The drink had a froth on top, and it made for a creamy lemonade taste. It was light and delightful. For my dinner I had the East End Spicy Chicken Sandwich with spicy Thai pepper in the breading, Thai pepper hot honey, creamy slaw, pickles and tomatoes. The chicken was fried perfectly, the slaw was crunchy and sweet the honey was slightly spicy as was the breading. I thought it might have been a little spicier, but the sandwich was perfect. I also sampled the loaded Mac and cheese and the garlic green beans. The beans were blanched, and the garlic added good flavor and the mac was good but the bacon topping I found a little chewy. My fiancé tried the Corned Beef Reuben on rye bread. The corned beef was shredded, it was tasty but a little salty. The bread and kraut were nice, but the dressing was a little thin and the sandwich need more of it. For dessert, we tried the Glazed Doughnut Bread Pudding with Coffee Ice Cream. This. Was. Amazing. Yeast doughnuts made into bread pudding with an awesome glaze sauce, the homemade ice cream was the star and I don't even like coffee. East End Tap and Table makes pretty much everything in house and has vegan options. The service was great. The Fat Man says that East End Tap and Table is Fat Man Approved and Recommended.

Customer service was great to me!! it's like a quiet little Pub not big at all they do have outside seating and a bar also two TVs above the bar so you can just walk in and have a drink and watch a game or something I personally got a PB&J I seen off a TikTok it was good but too much bread for me and to add on top of the bread I already ordered I got the chicken littles which those are amazing!!! I would have been fine just ordering that also had a beverage something maple??Kentucky's known for bourbon it's not what I prefer but it was decent...

We celebrated a birthday on our first visit to East End Tap and Table. I tried the raspberry mimosa, peach bellini and a French 75. All drinks were delicious. We really enjoyed the Bloody Maria. We had never had a miso burger and it was perfectly seasoned and delicious. The strawberry waffle was beautiful and perfectly crispy. Great brunch menu, make sure to plan ahead as it gets busy!

Very close to the mark here. I liked it, I did, it just missed the mark by a hair. The food was good, it was exactly what we asked for and it was plenty. I asked for medium well, I got medium well. I asked for chips, I got that too. The design of the place was very downtown, I loved it. The homemade soda was great! I really liked it. The server may have been having a rough day, but the hospitality part of the hospitality and food management part was a little lost. Not sure what the situation was. We were just passing through on our way to NC and I was pleased when we left. The floor where I was sitting was TAPED down, that was a bit of a turn off considering my shoe was sticky for the next day and a half because of it. The food was good, but I didn't leave bragging about my meal. I just left full, content, mildly amused at the bathroom wallpaper and.... sticky.

Just visited for Brunch. The service was great, and the Bloody Mary was very well balanced- more so than the food. Sorry to say the Bahn Mi is not actually a real Bahn Mi. The flavors were okay but the execution was way off. Would be less soggy if they used a traditional hollowed out toasted French baguette. The choice of radish was interesting, though I think daikon is better. I only got a teaspoon of slaw initially on my sandwich and had to ask for more. If the veggies were uniformly julienned a little larger than the size of the current carrots, then it would be easier to eat. I only got 2 little cilantro leafs and 1 slice of jalapeño. Eggs were cooked nicely, but no pâté on the bread! I’ll stick to Pho Saigon for Bahn Mi.

First of all, the server was very attentive! The food was good but not great. I had the sandwich with the lamb on it, and my wife had a hot honey chicken biscuit. It wasn’t bad, but I personally wouldn’t go back.

The server is super kind and sweet. We ordered appetizers, but they came out after our dinner because something happened to them they said. My daughter ordered noodles and they were just macaroni and some of it was old and hard you could tell I guess it was warmed up we had a salmon and tuna bowl, and they were actually really good.

We went because the birthday girl liked that place, the server Emma frown unhappy when we arrived, it was Sunday 6:30 and they close at 8 on Sundays, food was good and came out fast, by 7:20 Emma asked if we wanted to cash out, we said not yet, we wanted more drinks, she came out a few minutes later with the same question, by the third time we paid and went across the street for dessert and more drinks (Highly recommend Carson's). Customers next to us were also unhappy with her attitude.

The flavor of my spicy chicken sandwich was good but it was sooo messy. The flavors really revolves around the sauce which is all over the sandwich by the time it comes out, rather than the chicken being seasoned really well. My girlfriend got an Asian bowl and she did not care for it at all. Overall, I think some simple tweaks could make this place really good because the restaurant itself and the staff are lovely.

Well, kind of an eclectic place. Unique. Progressively Hipster. We got in there, and waited about 10 minutes before a server came to us, she happened to be really nice, and did a great job but the place wasn’t that big and they kind of forgot about us. It’s a different crowd, not a normal sit down restaurant kind of small all wide open. We asked for a martini, and it came out half full, looking like well water, and a glass with an olive. So our server was really nice enough, so we sent it back and we got another one that was now full, but still tasted like well water with an olive in it? Not so sure they know how to make specialty drinks. The food was really good though, I had the grilled chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries, and it was really good. We also had the lettuce wraps, they were very good as well! We also had the Asian bowl, it was very fresh and good! Since it’s a wide open restaurant, it’s also kind of quite loud. Give it a try!

Had such high expectations but the food was not good at all. The pita bread was dry the hummus was basic. The first thing I got told was their online menu is completely different when i mentioned an item I saw online. Overall, really cool atmosphere but the food I would not order again.

We stopped in on a Friday afternoon during happy hour; the service was friendly enough, drinks were standard, food was okay. The kofta burger tasted good, but was so greasy, I was sick shortly after eating part of it. My boyfriend’s fried cod plate wasn’t worth the price of the meal and was a very small piece of fish overly bartered. While none of that was the server’s fault, we wouldn’t go back or recommend dining here.

Disappointing Brunch Heard great things about EETT, but I was severely disappointed and the rest of my party was also disappointed. Burrito bowls were ordered, they tasted great but VERY SMALL portions, especially for a "Burrito Bowl" for $12. Not worth the $12. Smashed burger of the Miso Loco Moco was gross, overcooked, and tough, possibly cooked from frozen. Overall my party did not rate the food highly. The spicy bloody Mary was AMAZING though. Freaking fantastic! I had two! Disappointed in brunch, but I'll be back for lunch or dinner to give them a second chance.

My husband ordered steak which tasted old and explained to server that it did actually taste bad. Me and my daughter ordered two asian bowls which was good. Drinks were also pretty good. Disappointed in the steak and they did not accommodate and it was clearly noticeable that the steak remained on the plate. We paid the full bill but definitely wont return due to the steak.
