My family and I celebrated a birthday here a week ago. It was absolutely wonderful. The atmosphere is relaxing and peaceful. The hospitality and service is like no other. They were kind, attentive and friendly. The food was flavorful and prepared with lots of love. Thank you for a great experience. We will be back.

There’s a reason this restaurant has been in business for the 30 years we have lived here. The odd entrance to this restaurant from the street may make you hesitant to try this place. Be assured, this is one of the best Indian restaurants in the area. I have never been disappointed by a meal here. The ingredients are fresh, and the dishes are full of flavor. The owners and staff could not be more accommodating. The restaurant is softly lit, walls in a pleasing rose color. The tables are set far enough apart so you don’t have to shout over your neighbors’ conversations. Good wine selection. Prices are reasonable.

I had an outstanding Sunday lunch at Rani Mahal in Mamaroneck with my family. This restaurant deserves 5 stars! The Mango Lassi was incredibly refreshing, and the Lamb Madras, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Veg Biryani were all bursting with delicious flavors. The service was top-notch, and the desserts were the perfect sweet ending to our meal. Rani Mahal truly offers an authentic Indian dining experience in a traditional setting. Highly recommended!

My wife took me here for my birthday. We were greeted by the owner Mr. Abdul, he was very cordial. He made you feel appreciated. And the food was delicious too. Definitely recommend this restaurant. 👌.

First time coming here with my boyfriend to try Indian food. The food was amazing 😍. The flavors of the sauces and meat are so delicious. I order the lamb Rogan Josh which is like this lamb chunks in this non spicy red sauce! It was delicious! My boyfriend ordered the chicken do Paiza which is chicken in a non spicy onion and peppers sauce. If its your first time eating Indian food try those two options. We also order this onion bread which comes with different sauces. I loved it a lot! The service was amazing. The workers are kind and sweet. They have conversations with you and are super polite/friendly. The location is in a good area. The restaurant is very clean and neat. I would definitely come back again!

Some of the best Indian food in the area, Every dish that I’ve had there has been fantastic. The service is always top-notch and the quality of the food has not changed in the many years that they’ve been around. I highly recommend Rani Mahal! If you’re trying to decide on where to go for your next Indian meal, give them a try.

This was my first time eating here and the food was other worldly! Not only is the staff is extremely friendly and kind, but the restaurant is beautifully decorated. This is my new favorite Indian restaurant, I wish I could give it 1000 stars. Flavor was so intense in the best way, I definitely recommend everyone come here and try its so good!!!

My Girlfriend and I finally decided to try Rani Mahal after hearing so many great things about it from friends and family. And we must say, Rani Mahal hands down serves the best Indian food in the Westchester area. And trust me, we have tried almost all of them. There was great food, a cultured atmosphere, and an amazing, helpful, and above all kind staff, especially Abdul & Tahera. From start to finish, we were met with smiles and great service. We will 100% be back again. If you are ever in the Mamaroneck/Westchester area, please give them a try, I PROMISE you will not regret it. Thank you again!

I absolutely love this Westchester County gem. I used to visit for the buffet, that’s no longer happening (wise move) so we ordered from the menu. Everything was simply divine: freshly made, beautifully seasoned and ample servings. From the appetizer (had pakora) to the entree and my friend’s mango juice, the best. Their poori filled me with joy. Do yourself a favor….at the very least order to go although you don’t want to miss out on the lovely music, rich decor and attentive customer care.

One of my favorite Indian restaurants in the area. Everything tastes very fresh and clean. The restaurant is clean and the staff are friendly and attentive. I love the tandoori shrimp as well as the tandoori chicken. All of the breads are fresh and tasty. Well worth a visit.

Tasty food. Very friendly staff. Food is pretty close to authentic Indian. Vegetarian options are tasty and freshly prepared. Paneer used are of good quality. Garlic Naan breads are tasty and crisp. Also they are quite large. 2 Naan breads can easily feed 4 adults. Over all it was a great dinning experience.

Ordered like 4 items for delivery. It cost me over $100. One of which I added on the mango lassi as recommended and never got the mango lassi. I tried to contact the delivery service but apparently this restaurant does not do refunds at all. So, if you don't get some of the items that you paid for, too bad. Aside from that, the food was very disappointing. Lacking flavor, authenticity and is not worth the price tag at all. The vindaloo especially was way too tomatoey, tasted like a lightly spiced tomato soup. I don't often write reviews, but this entire experience has been highly disappointing and a rip off. Definitely will not be ordering or dining here again. There are way better indian restaurants around. This is not it friends.

I just ordered through uber. After eating a few bites, i realized there was a roach or some sort of a bug in the food. I called the restaurant and they told me that it’s “impossible” like i put it in there on purpose. This arises a big food safety issue.
