Village Luncheonette

Village lunch was burned out at least a year or more back. The family that owns it reopened just a short while ago. The food is spectacular. The service is wonderful. You got a good value for your money. Tell them William sent you.

This place is my favorite, Nancy is the best, most wholesome, and hardworking employee i think i have ever seen. She is often one of the only workers and always keeps the place vibrant and enjoyable.

Very homey feel here. Service was fast from the woman at the front who tended to multiple people. The value was excellent for breakfast, where I ordered from one of their deals. Ordered scrambled eggs with sausage and it came with toast (4 pieces), juice, and coffee. Very affordable and I'd recommend coming here. There's a parking garage and street parking on the hill to the right of this restaurant (free on Sundays).

Very nice little luncheonette. Food was served quickly. I had the Poahed eggs florentine. They were cooked well. Breakfast potatoes were nice and crispy on outside. I would go back

Food was good, but I never got a recipe, and I feel like she told me more than the original price. I guess I will never find out how much exactly it was supposed to be.

I went the cafe today to take out breakfast for my mother and I. I had the pancake breakfast special and my mom had the 2 eggs special. The waitress was friendly when I was in the cafe. However when I got home and started cutting into my food there was a huge fly cooked into the pancake. I called the cafe right away and explained the situation to them. The waitress offered to make me a new meal but after seeing that there was no way we wanted anything else. I told the waitress that I just wanted my money back and she agreed. My mother took the food back within the hour. But the waitress refused to give us a full refund because we forgot to bring back the coffee that came with the meal. The cafe was clearly in the wrong and they treated us like we were the bad people. I will never go back to the cafe and I will let everyone know of my experience with this cafe. I wish I could give zero stars!
