Absolutely amazing Indian spot in Didsbury! Every dish was bursting with flavour — rich, vibrant spices without being overpowering, and everything tasted incredibly fresh. You can really tell a lot of care goes into the cooking. From the first bite to the last, the flavours were unreal. The drinks service was also super efficient, which made the whole experience even better. Easily one of the best Indian meals I’ve had — can’t wait to go back!
Lovely food. The service was a bit slow tonight, but it didn't spoil the experience. I'd come again, most likely in the summer, just to see if the light quality through all the windows added to the ambience.
Absolutely incredible food! Unbelievable flavours and the vegan seitan is divine. The best in Manchester by far. Wonderful warm service. An absolute pleasure to visit, we will be back.
Exemplary food always consistently delivering Indian cuisine of the highest levels.
This place has to be one of the best Indian restaurants we have been to. The main courses were very nice but the starters & desserts were absolutely sensational. Everything is made fresh in house and you can tell. The service was absolutely amazing and lively for a Monday night. Elegant decor and atmosphere. Very polite and knowledgeable staff who we had great conversation with. We will be back again. First time we have ever tipped on top of service charge already added to a bill but it was definitely well deserved. Thank you for a fantastic night.
Beautiful food and presentation, each course is a work of art! Lovely staff and cosy but chic atmosphere. A local favourite!
Fantastic Indian restaurant,.on the main didsbury straight. Relaxing, luxurious and welcoming. The food was amazing and we ordered plenty so we have some to take home. Thoroughly recommend it, also have plenty of vegan options.
I’ve tried so many Indian restaurants in the UK and I must say Indique is certainly one of the best I’ve tried. Now that I’m moving to NZ long term, one of the things I will miss in Manchester will actually be the food and hospitality I’ve received (especially from Sundeep the owner) from Indique. Thank you Indique and we will meet again (not just hope!) I’m sure of it!
An authentic Indian restaurant, where all details are looked after by knowledgeable staff. The chicken tikka masala is definitely something to try. The staff is very friendly and the location is very comfortable.
Amazing gaff. Food is brilliant with a really unique menu. Portions are class. Staff are really friendly. Would recommend to anyone :)
We had a brilliant experience we came as a group of four and everything from the customer service to the presentation Of the food was wonderful. Our favorites were the fish curry, the grilled prawns, the duck curry and the vegan options for naan! Thanks for having us!
5 star experience! Indique is a stylish and elegant restaurant. The menu is interesting and has a good range of tasty options catering for all tastes, vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters. The staff are very friendly, professional and knowledgeable about the meals they provide. I highly rate and recommend Indique , you won't be disappointed! Tonight we enjoyed a free 2 course meal for 2 tonight, as winners of this weeks weekly prize draw for posting our review. Wonderful place, lovely staff, delicious food. What more do you want 😊
Such a great restaurant. A dedicated vegan menu, knowledgeable wait staff, pleasant service and simply delicious food - truly authentic Indian food. Highly recommended.
Delicious meal had at this busy, bustling eatery. A varied and interesting menu. Service was attentive and friendly. Portion sizes were not too large.
We found the restaurant to be very comfortable, with attractive, modern decor and very clean. The service was excellent. The waiter was extremely helpful and ensured that we received our preferred level of spicing for each dish that we ordered. The presentation and standard of the food was outstanding. There was a good choice of delicious desserts. We shared a couple of different desserts, as we were so spoiled for choice - and we were not disappointed! We will be returning to this wonderful restaurant and highly recommend it.
Little hidden gem! The service was great and they made some excellent recommendations. The presentation was exquisite and food was tasty. Would definitely recommend and return again!
Excellent, very well priced food. Whole page of the menu dedicated to vegan options, and lovely location!
Incredible food with rich flavors and perfect spice. The ambience is cozy yet elegant, and the customer service is outstanding—attentive and friendly. A top choice for anyone craving authentic Indian cuisine!
A Memorable Dining Experience at Indique Restaurant. Impeccable service and delightful culinary offerings. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted warmly by the staff, setting the tone for a fantastic evening ahead. The starters were not only well-presented but also bursting with flavor, showcasing the chef's mastery of Indian cuisine. Each dish was a culinary work of art, perfectly balanced in taste and texture, leaving us craving for more. The drink selection was equally impressive, with a variety of options to complement every palate. Whether it was a refreshing cocktail or a classic lassi, each sip was a symphony of flavors, expertly crafted by the talented bartenders. What truly stood out was the exceptional customer service. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure that every need was met. Their genuine passion for hospitality truly enhanced our dining experience, making us feel valued and appreciated.
Lovely family run restaurant, food was amazing, well presented and the flavours flooding through, wonderful atmosphere, no detail to small. Excellent..travelled from Cornwall to visit friends, met a lovely lady on the tram who recommended indique, full of praise for this wonderful restaurant....thank you. Dominic and Jacqui
Food is absolutely delicious, probably one the best authentic Indian restaurant in Manchester. The starters and curry’s are presented in lovely way. I visited this place a number times never been disappointed due to amazing service and incredible tasting food. The restaurant owner and the staffs are down to earth always trying to make sure the best service is provided through out. They use the finest ingredients not like typical dumbed down Indian curries filled with onion paste! and some cheap spices. All I can say try it to appreciate it.
A beautiful, wonderful & memorable experience. That’s all I can say for the quality of food and service at this Indian restaurant. Hospitality at its finest with the manager constantly checking up on us and offering us suggestions for various foods and drinks. The food was immaculate and tasted even better (images below). Definitely worthy the fine-dining money value, as you also paid for the ambiance which was calming and clean. The location was very accessible for persons using a wheelchair or those who need assistance for movement. Lights were perfectly dimmed (lowered) for those who are sensitive to bright light and everyone was very accommodating at the restaurant. High praise for the staff - especially the General Manager. My partner and I will definitely visit Indique again in the future when we visit the UK again. PS. The restaurant has won various competitions and holds various awards.
Genuinely superb food in a lovely restaurant. Interesting range of dishes. Excellent choices for vegans and vegetarians. The lamb shank was spectacular. Highly recommended.
Food is amazing (nice and spicy), plated beautifully, and the service was very pleasant! They even let us take the rest of our food home that we didn't manage to finish, which was extra nice! Also very reasonably priced, which is always a bonus! I would come here again, and recommend to my friends.
Had an amazing experience. Tried Chilly Paneer and Dahi Poori Starter, both were amazing specially Chilly Paneer. Liked Paneer Lawabdar and Dal Makhni as Main Course. Overall it was a good dine out for us, would definitely recommend.
Really excellent, especially the starters which were stunning. Great vegetarian options and lovely service.
It’s where we always go for a special occasion. We went again last night, our kids chose it as they like it so much and it was for their exam success that we were out. The food is stunning, everything is perfect. The service is friendly and attentive and there’s a relaxed ambiance even though it’s busy; it deserves to be. We have been here so many times over the years, it’s consistently good. There has never a been a time when we weren’t delighted with our night out. Many thanks.
Being of Indian heritage, Indian restaurants never really excite me much. But, wow! This was an experience. The food was absolutely fantastic. Very unique menu, and exceptional presentation. Definitely not the usual run of the mill curry houses. Staff were excellent. I think I can honestly say that this was probably the best Indian I have EVER had! Get yourselves over there, you won't regret it!
Absolutely delicious, fresh, home cooked food. Service very efficient and staff really friendly and helpful. Would 100% return!! Loads of vegan/ vegetarian options if that’s what you prefer. Reasonably priced
Delicious food and drinks and excellent service. First visit but will definitely return! Orange punch mocktail complemented the food really well. Bhel Puri, Paneer Biryani and Ratan Manjosa all highly recommended 👌 Naan tasty and light!
First time in this restaurant and wow I am so glad we came here. All staff are friendly, welcoming and very polite. Constantly checking up to see how our experience is. Definitely recommend this place again. My birthday was well spent
Lovely meal, great staff and a modern restaurant, reasonably priced and well presented food and drinks. Would definitely recommend.
Great Indian food Dine in The atmosphere is lively. This is the best South Asian food I have had for many years. And I am of asian origin. First of all, the tastes are uniquely amazing. Fresh considered and bursting with flavour. The artistic appreciation of the presentation of the is second to none.I have never even seen this in a 5 star indian restaurant: not even in London in Saint James' Place, where there is a restaurant called 'Chutney Mary's' So talk about all angles covered: 5 star ☆☆☆☆☆ The most marvellously fresh, delicious and soul- satiating dishes, but the awe-inspiring artistry in its presentation, makes one think there is a secret Banksy Chef sending out these abstract collages from the kitchens. In all of Didsbury 》》》》》 This is the one!!《《《《
Found this gem based on google reviews, for our anniversary. Full justice to it's popularity and ratings. Ordered variety of starters, drinks and mains. Simply delicious. Nice presentation to all it's dishes. Good portions and reasonable prices. AUTHENTIC Indian. Adjust your spice on mains and get the most scrumptious meals. Easily top 3 of my list in UK (if not 1st). Staff polite, friendly and splendid service. Liked the interiors. Good place for a fine dine / occasion or just to get good food.
We had a wonderful family dinner at Indique in burton road Didsbury / withington .The place is absolutely beautiful — elegant décor, calm ambience, and a true feeling of Indian warmth. The food was exceptional — we ordered Ratan Mojosa and Dal Tadka, and both dishes were perfectly balanced, flavourful, and authentic. What truly stood out was the hospitality. The owner is one of the most humble and genuinely kind people we’ve met. He personally spoke with us, made sure everything was perfect, and was incredibly empathetic toward our autistic child — something that made us feel deeply comfortable and respected. He even offered a few small touches like chopped onions to help pacify him, which meant a lot to us. As an Indian doctor who recently moved to Manchester, it was heart-warming to find such authentic Indian food and such genuine human connection here. Indique isn’t just a restaurant — it’s an experience filled with warmth, compassion, and great taste. Highly recommended for families and anyone looking for real Indian hospitality in the heart of didsbury / withington
Exceptional food, from the presentation to exquisite flavours delighting the palette with every mouthfull. Staff were really attentive and demonstrated a real passion for delivering excellent customer satisfaction. Well worth a visit if your in the Manchester area.
Excellent service, excellent food, fantastic service and the restaurant makeover is very pretty indeed. The food was artisanal, so fresh and artistically presented on the plate: I thought we were being served 5 star Michelin- inspired dishes; so refreshing individually and combined on one's palate. The presentation on our plates was aesthetically delightful: such care and consideration over and above the marvellous- tasting food. The whole dining experience 10/10. Thanks A hidden gem 💎 ✨️
Stylish modern Indian cuisine, all dishes are beautiful presented with delicious flavour, especially the carrots cake with cashew nuts and pistachio, was the best carrot cake we had so far, not too sweet with very nice texture.
Love it here! Amazing food and service. Would definitely recommend! Great options for vegetarians and vegans too!
I was reluctant to try this place as I preferred to go to my regular but my daughter persuaded me to try it due to the great reviews. It past the taste test providing quality food. Life is about an element of risk and new experience. The portion did two people for two meals each. ✨️
A lovely restaurant that is a keeper. The staff are friendly and the food is excellent. Service wise we had to wait approximately ten to fifteen minutes to get the bill paid even though we asked three times, oh well maybe they were busy due to it being Valentine's Day. All in all the meal was filling, hot and tasty.
Food was nice, service was great and will definitely will be back again
Most of the food was delicious. The service was great too. I loved the biryani with raitha. Chilli potato was one of their best. Panipuri wasn’t up to the mark but overall we had a good experience
We had dinner. Ordered naan, hydrabadi Briyani and chicken tikka masala. Plus kulfi with tricolour. Food was good, fresh and good quality. Hydrabadi biriyani not original hydrabadi style but taste ok. Cash and card payment available. Parking facilities also there.
Great food with amazing presentation! Came here for a birthday celebration & everyone loves their meals apart from starter scallops being very small. Not 5 stars due to the high pricing & being understaffed which meant we waited a bit longer than normal. We found the more tasty meals to be the more expensive ones.
Indique offers a great Indian experience with a uniquely thought out dine that revolves around creativity and superb presentation. It was obvious that a lot of thought had been put into all the dishes we had, with each one being served to its utmost potential. The service was outstanding with friendly, attentive staff who appeared to be going beyond the call of duty in attending to the needs of the guests. This is the best Indian dine we’ve had in Manchester, and would therefore recommend Indique all the way. We know we’ll definitely be back here very soon! Menu Recommendation Drink - Indian Summer Starter - Bhelpuri Main - Masala Roast Lamb Shank/ Hyderabadi (Chicken) Biryanis Dessert - Chocolate Mousse
Lamb shank was good but the chicken korma left a lot to be desired. Poppadoms were fab and they had one of the best chutney tray sauces. I do love that they give an after eight after. Not many Indian restaurants do this anymore.
Have had a few takeaways from here but it was our first time sitting in. We loved the Karahi, Sag Paneer and garlic naan. Service was lovely. Definitely worth a visit!
Average food, not the cheapest, lack of parking, cold restaurant that matches up with the staff who are somewhat unfriendly, robotic and useless! If you rate this place you clearly don’t know your food or what to expect in terms of good service and good value.
Don’t usually write reviews but unfortunately I’ve got to for this one. Love a curry and go out to eat one every weekend pretty much. Quality of produce was very good but I really don’t know how you can make a lamb chop taste like basically nothing. Had lamb chops and prawns to starts both probably rated a 4/10. Got the karahi and jalfrezi with naan as a main and I really want to know how you end up with white chicken at an Indian place. The meat had no colour… how’s this possible. On top of this, the place is so expensive. So disappointing :(
