Avaliações de Verve Coffee Roasters Manhattan Beach
Verve in Manhattan Beach is the perfect crossover between serious coffee and laid-back surf vibes. Excellent beans, consistently great espresso, and a space that makes you want to slow down — even if you absolutely didn’t plan to. It’s the kind of place where your coffee tastes better because you’re a few blocks from the ocean. The atmosphere is bright, casual, and effortlessly cool, with a steady mix of locals, laptop warriors, and post-beach caffeine seekers. Baristas know their craft and keep things friendly without the coffee-snob attitude. Pro tip: Grab your coffee to go and walk toward the beach — Verve + ocean air is an unbeatable combo, and suddenly your day feels very put together
Loved this place! The atmosphere is really nice and relaxing ~perfect for a coffee break or catching up with friends. The music was great and added to the cozy vibe. I tried the Cinnabon roll and it was absolutely delicious, soft and fresh, a perfect match with my coffee. Definitely a spot I’d come back to when in Manhattan Beach! ☕️✨
My favourite coffee place in Manhattan beach. It’s accessible with a couple of parking spaces near it. The beans are good and delicious and the coffee hits very well. They have variety of non-dairy options for the milk. They have delicious breakfast pastry and sandwich options as well. It’s very relax ambience that is modern but minimalist.
I ordered an Americano but it was the espresso that truly impressed me. Rich, smooth, and deeply satisfying. The avocado toast was equally memorable: the tanginess of the pickles matched well with the creamy sweetness of the avocado, and the generous amount of black pepper added a nice kick. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making the whole space feel relaxed and inviting. A lovely cafe experience overall.
A hip little coffee shop located in a community plaza. This shop has limited seating for both inside and outside seating, but that’s okay because most people take their orders to go. The baristas are welcoming and friendly, offering fast paced service. I ordered the caramel latte, which was smooth and blended well together. I loved the coffee foam art work.
First I discovered Verve Coffee on a previous visit to LA and didn't go there, but I found a Capital One Cafe in Houston that happened to serve it and had it a couple times. So this time in LA I made sure to visit Verve Coffee. Got iced latte and drip coffee. Drinks were very good. Atmosphere was pleasant and staff were friendly. Indoor seating is limited but there are also places to sit outside (there seems to be some green space and small shopping plazas behind Verve). Nice location in this area, which is close to the beach.
Go inside and check out the smaller matcha menu. They make legit whisked Uji matcha, highly recommend the One + One.
Love every single stuff here. First of all, they make an awesome milk foam which is very soft and rich. And they serve high quality coffee - I recommend you to have single origin coffee there to taste unique region-based flavor. Lastly, they also have good options for food. The avocado toast has a good balance. It is highly recommended!
I really liked this coffee shop. Upbeat and modern, and their drinks seem really good too. I hat a vanilla iced latte, and the taste was good. I would come back here to try another drink! The avocado toast was also really delicious.
Ordered an ice Colombian by the cup and really enjoyed it. There was wine note and was balanced with sweetness. The shop has ample sunlight. Restroom is also available. Great place to chill for a bit before and after visiting the beach!
Finally, good coffee has arrived in Manhattan Beach. Open from 7 am, but get ready to line. The bakery goods are scattered with lightning speed. The best coffee ever!

Surprised this coffee shop averages only 4.1 stars. My visit was wonderful - excellent americano with espresso shot. Service was polite and pleasant. Pastries looked incredible, however, I experienced a rare moment of discipline and abstained...this time!

The coffee here is excellent and the staff is very attentive. My son accidentally spilled oat milk all over the café, and I truly appreciate how quickly and kindly the team cleaned it up without any fuss. Thank you for the great service and hospitality — we’ll definitely be back!
In Short, It’s a good coffee shop in a good location. With a few more details, Coffee is good. Matcha Latte was good did not need to be sweetened. They seemed to have a good amount of pastries in glass box which protects it and looks good too. Only problem was it had a tiny bug flying around in it. Wasn’t a deterrent honestly. It happens. I tried the almond croissant. The paste inside was amazing and very delicious, but the croissant was a bit too crunchy and hard in some bites which made me think that it was a bit old. It was still good but the coffee and other factors it keeps this place at 4 stars. Decor looked clean and bright and fresh. Staff was helpful and friendly. I like the standing room area. Maybe add another standing bench like that outside too. Just an idea. Location was great for people watching or doing some work (if you find a seat) while being close to the pier and the beach or just meeting someone and hanging out. Also pretty central to grab coffee and continue walking alongside the green belt or boardwalk. Anyway I enjoyed this spot.
My girlfriend hates when I react to the price of things, but $8.25 for a Dirty Chai Latte is cccccrrrrraaaazzzyyyyyyyy work lol. Wifey rolled her eyes at me in the middle of this beautifully curated coffee shop as my neck shrugged back and my eyes blinked quickly a few times in disbelief. I couldn't help it. I feel like I'm taking a left hook to the liver if I pay over $4 for a cold brew as I know how cheap it is to make, but $8.25 for a dirty chai latte is wild. I don't know. Maybe I'm trippin. $8.25 is after tax to be fair. And the Latte was damn good. And it's Manhattan Beach so people don't really care about the price of things anymore. If customers are paying these prices, why lower them? Rent gotta be expensive too. Nobody forced my gf to buy it either. They not hurting anybody in here. As a consumer, I guess the only thing I can do is write this review and take my business elsewhere. Or I could get my bread up. Yeah I think I’ll do that. I may come here to just get a black coffee and a croissant in the near future, I bet these croissants SLAP. After $8.25-gate though I couldn't get anything. How could I support that? Apologies. This review was all over the place but I can only give you the real me on here and the real me is fighting demons. IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov_reviews
First time trying out Verve! I ordered a cold brew. Staff was friendly. Inside feels comfortable, although not much indoor seating. More outdoor seating available. Bathrooms available to customers. Street parking can definitely be tough in the area.

My experience at Verve Coffee Roasters in Manhattan Beach was unfortunately less than satisfactory. The café was bustling with customers, which seemed like a positive sign at first, indicating its popularity. However, this led to a crowded and noisy environment, making it challenging to find a comfortable spot to enjoy my coffee. One of the main drawbacks was the service provided by the staff. They appeared to be quite slow and, regrettably, rather obnoxious in their demeanor. It felt as though they were not attentive to the needs of customers, which detracted from the overall experience. Moreover, I found the prices of the drinks to be rather steep, especially considering that the quality did not match the cost. The drinks were underwhelming and failed to justify the high price tag. While Verve Coffee Roasters may have a vibrant atmosphere and a loyal customer base, my visit left me disappointed. The combination of slow and inattentive service, along with overpriced and mediocre drinks, didn't make for a memorable coffee experience. As much as I wanted to love it, I'm afraid I won't be returning anytime soon.
The media hype over the environmental friendly Terra cotta cup was what brought me here. Hmm draft latte float? Oatmilk soft serve? NAW I will pass for now I’ll stick to my regular favorite ICED LATTE. I chose 3/4 ounce of simple syrup. Great quality coffee, patio and inside dining area to enjoy my beverage. Seating is more comfortable inside than hard chairs in the patio although the beautiful ocean breeze might be a good trade off in the patio. With soo many quality coffee options in the great LA area not sure 🤔 I’ll be back to fight parking, BIG HASSEL to get a good ice latte. Incident STREET LEVEL BLEND was my blend 19 bucks a bag.

Unfortunately I'm having to change my review from 5 star to 3 since my past few experiences have been disappointing. We've been a regular and their coffee and avo toast is great but they always run out of their food during the time they are serving it per their menu which is until 2 or 3 I believe. This time they ran out at 12 on a Sunday! I understand their food is fresh since they run out, but 12 on a Sunday is more of a managing and ordering issue. Sad that I have to lower stars but hope this can be fixed so I can change my review again.
RACIST. I don’t recommend coming here if you’re a person of color or our ally, read their other reviews about racist experiences. I come to this location quite often, a few times a week because it’s so close to the pier, I usually get a matcha. Today, I was there for about 15 minutes working on my laptop. I hadn’t made a purchase yet as they were out of what I wanted and I was thinking about what to get instead. Again, I’ve been here several times. Someone then came out to tell me I had to order something or leave, in front of everyone. I’m Latina, and I’m never coming here again. I ended up buying this stale scone as I felt like I had to buy something immediately. Scone experience was a 0/10 just like their racism

Good coffee and nice staff - but seriously - trying to pass off health care for your staff on your customer?!?! You should be ashamed of charging your customers 50cents on top of their 6+ dollar cup of coffee plus then a default tip or 1.5$!??? What are we paying 6.60 for a cup of coffee for?!? Pay your staff well and healthcare and stop trying to pass it off to your customers it’s disgraceful.
