Great position overlooking Marina De la Duquesa this is something of a personal favourite. Whether watching sport or partaking of the Karaoke, whilst it is an Irish pub not charging Irish prices .

Lamb for two was excellent. Great views from the terrace. Good vfm too. Highly recommended for Sunday lunch

Cute bartenders, nice servers. Food is good and if you’re looking to get the best view, chill music, and some distance from the loud cigarette-smoking drunken Brits near the port this is the perfect place.

Fantastic place, even had small portoins of sunday roast for kids, staff very friendly helped us during heavy rain to get a comfy place for our daughter and her wheelchair. Food was brilliant, highly recommended definitely coming again

Lovely staff, great breakfast. Good selection of food served during the day and evening, struggled to get a seat on the Sunday with there being football and also they reserve tables for the Sunday dinner.

Great service, perfect food for the ocasión, the sharing platter of sticky ribs, chicken wings, onion rings, replaced sausage with more ribs & chicken wings, not a problem, chips & a bowl of coleslaw on the side only 5.95€, great wine and beer, and watched a great game of Rugby on the big screens, being a Kiwi a perfect score to ice the cake!😉

THE best bar/bistro in La Duquesa - We have been visiting this great bar for 3 years and it never fails to deliver on service and quality of food. The proprietors and staff are friendly and very welcoming. My husband plays golf in the Monday Club organised by Kinsales and the hospitality is exceptional. Went early doors on new years eve for a bite to eat, ordered two sirloin steaks both medium, we were told there was a wait on food of about 30 minutes when we ordered, could have guessed that really as the place was busy, but the service was great. Both steaks delivered within the time quoted, and cooked to perfection, just gutted that I didn't take a photo at the time, the presentation was amazing. Enjoyed with a pint of great draught Guinness. Full marks.

Living locally we come here all the time. Child friendly, dog friendly, great views over the marina. Super friendly staff. The place to come to watch sport and always willing to accommodate requests for different sports on different screens. Highly recommended.

Great bar for socialising and watching football. Barman with a great sense of humour (just don't mention anything bad about Liverpool). Will return on Wednesday to watch Arsenal. Hope to try their breakfast this week

We went here for breakfast. It was very tasty and there was a great selection. The view of the marina is fabulous. Service was really good. Very friendly. Would go back and would recommend for breakfast. Especially the orange juice!

This is a well run family friendly, bar, restaurant, pub. On Sunday's the Kinsale combine 2 of the greatest treats in life. Watching your team, sport live and a good Sunday roast, add in a couple of drinks and you feel your life is complete, unless you team loses and then there's always next weekend. Well done to the team on running a slick professional operation, especially when there's enough competition around to sink a yacht.

Long established bar/ restaurant in Duquesa Port on the upper level. Does good breakfast and even afternoon tea when you need it. Good range of beers and meal options including a kiddie's menu. Recommended for sporting occasions and family meals.

I have seen this bar transform over the years, now it's a fairly upmarket bar, all being said with the area it's in,, and there were some beautiful ladies whilst I was in on my last visit. Drinks are fairly weak for Spain though. Would recommend

Came here to watch F1. Staff are incredibly attentive. A well oiled machine in operation. Despite being very busy staff kept checking our table for drinks so we rarely had to go up to bar.

We've eaten here several times, good sports bar with plenty of tv's, good menu with lots of beers, spirits and wine's and hot drinks, very good service all at reasonable prices, our only disappointment was Sunday lunch,nice meat lovely vegetables, very busy out of season but warm food served on cold plates let it down ,maybe trying to get food out too fast, but all other meals have been superb ,free parking available outside the port, marina,on the 2nd floor so not sure about wheelchair access

Quite a popular venue. Even dogs and smokers are catered for. Probably best to book. We will return. Only criticism was that it was extremely hard to catch a waiter's eye firstly to get some ice and finally to get the bill. Other than that a very pleasant experience.

Not many Irish pubs worth talking about down here but the Kinsale is a very nice, honest, friendly place that isn't overloaded with that 'home from home' feel many of us hate. It does good basic pub grub, some tapas and things like paella, friendly staff and good value. What's not to like?

Stopped for breakfast, it was quiet but took some time to get served. We found breakfast to be very expensive.

The Sunday lunch Slight! It very much appeared to us that, as we were speaking in Spanish, we did not warrant the attention of the manager/owner who's attention we could not gain no matter how much we waved and coughed in her direction. But then she was busy a couple of times, clearly gossiping about other diners with one of the waitresses. The same waitress served the tables either side of us, but totally ignored us. The waitress who did serve us was a delight. The food, however, not so much so. The soup, with soggy supermarket croutons and split cream floating on top, was more like coloured dishwater. The beef, whilst perfectly cooked, was left lonesome by the over boiled broccoli and soft/soggy (microwaved) roast potatoes. The carrots on the other hand had a great crunch, and I mean crunch! The Bisto gravy didn't quite cut it either. Really not what you'd expect given the competition in the area. I highly recommend the little drive out to Benahavis and The Thirsty Goat.

All I say is it's ok. Food is not bad but lacks the atmosphere of other bars at the port.

Says it is an Irish bar but it isn’t, Guinness is good for La Duquesa, location and view is lovely when quiet. Wish they had IPAs on the menu.

A modern bar with reasonable prices. Gets a bit busy during the summer but has a large balcony which gives extra space. Karaoke some nights

Felt like I was intruding. Terrible place and service . Many bars in the port are far better.

Came in with family of 9 adults just wanted to sit down for some tapas and a few drinks.. were told no food at this time 8.30pm(no problem). Ordered first round of drinks for refreshments, receiced them quick enough.. 5min into having our pints waitress just came up with card machine requesting payments(I guess were not going to be ordering more?🫡) Would be nice to see a smile and be able to enjoy a drink without being interrupted for a payment after being here 5min(going to different bar to enjoy more) Lovely view over marina thou:)

Food was terrible and the French fries tasted of old oil. The fish was so soaked in oil it was inedible. The sausage was such poor quality and tasted as if it was half bread filler. The cappuccino was great along with the view, but would never recommend eating here.

Absolutely appalling service, waited 45 minutes for 3 steak sandwiches and chicken with sweet chilli. I knew we had been waiting too long and was concerned they might have mislaid our order etc, this was then compounded when I saw another 2 tables (Who had ordered after us) receive their food before us. I enquired where our food was and was told there were lots of other tables before us (This I now know to be a blatant lie). One of the Kitchen staff then came out and argued that we hadn't been waiting that long as the steak is cooked fresh (An absolute fob off answer), when I asked exactly when the food would arrive I was told its already plated up and will be out in 1 minutes! 10 minutes later it finally came out. The steak was half meat and half gristle, chips were less than a handful of scrag ends, the quality of the bread was awful (not fresh and clearly a long life part baked product). €75 for very poor quality food and service. With so many lovely places to choose from to eat in Duquesa, you would think Kinsales would try harder. After expressing my views, all I was told by the waitress was how it wasn't her fault and she was new. The issue lies in the fact the place lacked any form of leadership within that particular shift. I would reccomend to anyone to think twice before eating there.

The nigjt time service is atrocious. I waited nearly 5 mins at the bar just to be noticed and another 5 mins just to get a pint.. bloody awful. I will be going elsewhere in future ..... the staff (not all) need to sort themselves out...

We have been waiting twenty minutes, nobody came to take order or anything. We just left. They just thought that we were spanish. This "bar" is just open for british people. Thanks, so sad.

Hemos visitado el lugar un par de veces,siempre el trato de los camareros pésimo servicio,(no se si es que por ser latinos) nos atienden de último y cuando les apetece, hasta el día de hoy que he ido con mi familia y ni nos han mirado. Hemos estado cuarenta minutos sentados esperando a que nos atendieran y nada,hemos ido a la barra y han pasado de nosotros. Me parece una falta de respeto el comportamiento del personal. Porque el sitio es agradable pero si el personal es como es,no dan ganas de volver allí. Un saludo!
