There are many sushi places, but this is my sushi place. The care and the atmosphere that is put into this place is just simply phenomenal. And the sushi is not overpriced.You get more than you pay for in my honest opinion, huge chunks of sushi. ( See video below) they have absolutely fresh tasting fish and the best part is I don't have to wait twenty to thirty minutes just to get a plate it's about 5 minutes for a regular or 10ish for a specialty. And the prices are so good me, and my family of 3-6 we'll gorge ourselves and spend 80-100. They don't skimp on the wasabi or ginger, as well, which I can really appreciate.The service is kind and friendly as well.They're always checking to see if we need a refill, or if we need another order. I truly do love this place and it is the only sushi place I will go to. I highly recommend giving this place a try. You will not be disappointed.

Yummy sushi, we’ll definitely be back! They are also small dog friendly, and didn’t mind me bringing in my Yorkie, which was awesome!

Outdoor dining available. Loved the Lion King Roll, pictured is Mexican roll. Gyoza and spicy garlic edamame were excellent. Free refills on sodas. Not expensive. Definitely worth a try.

Most efficient restraunt i have ever been to as far as service and how quick they grt the food out. It's a well oiled machine and the food is good! Great place if you are in a hurry and dont want to do fast food!

Tempura udon w/ o seafood + vege roll's are much appreciated vegan options. I noticed 2 other ones that seemed vg but I don't remember if they were both appetizers or not (at least 1 was.) Even tho imitation crab typically isn't vg, thought I'd ask in case of the off chance this is. I got mixed answers about whether or not the imitation crab is vg, so vg + vegetarian symbols would be great. That goes for an allergy menu too. That aside it's a decent option if ur nearby n want quick food that's not fast food.

If you want authentic Japanese food and love sushi, than this is the place to come!!! Great food & wonderful service.

Unbelievable!!! The food, atmosphere and price!! First time here today, will be coming back regularly! We ordered Manteca roll and 49ers roll with hot sake. Manteca roll is my new favorite here!! Highly recommended.

Delicious food. Good miso soup (my test for them) Fast service. Relaxed. Not old fashioned Japanese cultured service, but delicious all the same! Mochi icecream. A surprising New Year's treat.

Prompt and courteous take-away service. Sushi rolls: Triple S, Black Forest, and Black Dragon -- beautiful and well made, but not enough favor. Udon soup was rich and full of flavor. Note: They get busy quick. Be mindful. Three families were dining-in, two call-in orders were picked-up/being picked-up, and three others were waiting in line as I left!

Sat down to have a sushi dinner. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and seated right away. The server gave us some time to review the menu as it was our 1st time here. The rolls are pretty big, shareable portions. The prices are decent, and the sushi rolls were fresh and made to order. I will visit again soon.

The food is good. The customer service is really bad. The atmosphere is like they are in a rush when only two tables are occupied in the entire restaurant! They didn't answer any of our questions regarding the menu, and they literally took the menu out of our hands before we can finish our order. After placing the tab on our table, not even 20 seconds passed when she walked by asking if we were ready to pay. This was on a Sunday afternoon around 3:30 (the slowest time of the day), we just wanted to have a relaxing afternoon; instead, they made us feel like we had to be out of the restaurant as soon as possible cause we were not appreciated there.

I dropped in for lunch on a weekday and wanted a bento box soooo bad. It is super difficult to find decent food in Manteca, it's just a wasteland! The store is clean and well maintained, and I was greeted at the door quickly. Their menu is decent sized for sushi offerings, but I was here for the bento lunch. You do get a good amount of food for the price. My Cal roll was a little on the messy (not tight) side and basically would fall apart when attempting to eat each piece. The chicken teriyaki was not marinated, just cooked and then the sauce was drizzled over the top, so the chicken ends up dry. Tempura was good! Overall, I say the food (bento that is) is just ok. Again, Manteca is such a wasteland for good dining, that I can see where this restaurant is popular.

The sushi here is reasonable but not great. We ordered a salmon roll and a bento box for dinner. Our salmon roll was a bit lumpy and the rice didn't hold together very well. The beef teriyaki was a bit tough and the fried shrimp was more like from the frozen food freezer at Safeway then proper tempura shrimp. The service here though is great and it's a convenient location next to the neighboring Tesla, supercharger and Target.

Ordered on Uber eats, everything looked good upon arrival except I was missing an item. Never the less I was excited and ready to dig in. I ordered a 12 piece sashimi combo. When I opened it everything looked right and good, but there was an odd smell, I’ve eaten a lot of raw fish and it didn’t smell right. Against better judgment I decided to eat it instead. Most of the fish tasted alright until I got to the salmon. (Save the best for last. Or so I thought) the salmon had a film to it and did not taste fresh at all. Sadly $40 down the drain and my hopes of fresh sushi unsatisfied.

Got take out and was given the wrong order. Never got the scallop roll we ordered and was given a fried roll instead, which we didn't like/eat. The salmon avocado roll was the only correct roll we got and it was disappointing - so little fish and very little avocado too (some pieces were missing avocado altogether) but tons of rice on the roll. Reminded me of the $5 sushi you can buy at Safeway on Fridays. We did like the nigiri - was the only thing we'd buy again if we ever return.

Just had the worst experience at this Sushi spot. Placed an order to go.. from the start I was rushed to hurry up and give the order. I was told to arrive in 30 min. Because I’m New to Manteca I asked where they were located. The advised next to Target. Well they are not next to Target but in the Pet Smart shopping plaza. I arrive it was VERY busy. The older lady at the front assisting at the front was absolutely very rude.. pretty much the vibe to get out of her way. I proceed to pay for my food that pretty much had sat on a counter behind them. Then I realized they had forgotten a roll. So of course I was charged for their error. I get home and try my food.. it’s Absolutely TERRIBLE!!!! Cold. The salad looks terrible and old .. the rolls just awful!!! So pretty much $100 bucks waisted on dinner. I will not return.. buyer beware.. terrible service & food!!!!!!🤬

I normally really like this place but I ordered by phone today and was told 25 minutes. Got there waited forever to pay and still had to wait for my roll. Total time from order to food was an hour and 15 minutes. If they would have just been honest on the phone it wouldn't have been a problem. My roll was also missing 2 main ingredients: tempura shrimp and avocado. Made it very difficult to eat as the roll completely fell apart.

Food is good, but the staff must have suffered trauma in the past because they are very rude for no apparent reason despite being treated with respect. I asked for water as was told I could “do it yourself right there” as the server walked away from me. I accidentally dispensed carbonated water, and was rudely yelled at saying I need to pay for the water, even though I had just paid for a 45$ order, and it was a simple mistake. I wanted normal water anyways, which I found comical. I presented 6 rolls and was only given wasabi and ginger for one order. Food is good, but they are rude and seem to be highly concerned with every penny they can save.

I’ve been going here for a couple years now and I probably had the most uncomfortable experience yet with my sushi rolls being completely thinned out to where I could even pick it up with my chopsticks sushi is about presentation and the presentation today was poorly made. I won’t be going back here again.

I hate this place been coming for a couple months but the gym are so rude and mean they always rushing to eat and they’ll get mad if we don’t leave tips… I spent more then $100 for 3 people I hate it
