Their family meal is very inexpensive for the quantity of food. And the food is good. It's a fast food place so asking about "atmosphere" makes for a very nuanced reply.

I always order to pick-up and they usually make you wait a long time. I can't tell you how many times I've had to wave down an employee to hand me my food. This time I was lucky. I went in around 10:30 before the lunch crowd came in. Timing is everything. I ordered for myself and coworkers. They have something for everyone.

I'm very happy we stopped by this location; food was prepared perfectly. Service was very kind and patient. Would definitely come here again.

I don’t really eat at Panda Express but I craved this for some random reason. So I went to panda in Manteca and to be honest I had a great experience. The food was so very delicious and the employees are pretty cool. I like their patience and energy. Good food good vibes for sure! If you go to panda go to this one . The manager Juan has a great team.

This location always on point , had the chance to meet the manager Marisa she have a great sense of hospitality, awesome customer service. She is a truly leader for what I saw, store was clean and organized , they move the line fast. I will definitely continue coming to this location .

Today at lunch time around 12 I didn’t know where go to eat, I ate broccoli beef and stream beans and I ate was delighted because the vegetables were very fresh and cooked to a good point, the meat was tender and had a good quality, it was very tasty, it is the best food I have eaten in a long time, I love it 100% recommended panda, the quality of the food has improved a lot , very good for the cook 👏, I love the food today I will continue going to eat what I like.

Fast service and decent food. It's why we choose this Chinese fast food place. Definitely not the best Chinese food in town but easily the fastest! Clean and reliable.

Panda Express is consistent across the different locations. Currently indulging in the Teriyaki Chicken, a la carte (taking a brief break from my usual Orange Chicken).

I buy a small carton of mixed veggies, a med carton of green bean chicken, and a large carton of chow mein. I take it home. I get out a large sauce pan add 2 cans of chicken broth and some minced garlic. Bring that to a boil and dump in everything I bought from Panda. I also add in 8 packets of Panda pot sticker seasoning. There ya go, Chinese noodle soup. Great to eat on a rainy day!

They have improved so much over the years. There food quality is much better. Would consider going again

Never had a problem at this location. Occasionally have to wait for food, but no more than 10 minutes. Drive thru can be slow at times. All in all good service, good food!

I like food, but I always feel the portions are too small and some selections are $1-$2 more. The prices should be the same for all entrées. I didn't necessarily liked this location's parking, as it is limited and hard to go in and out, it's like a dead-end corner.

Always a good deal for the amount of food you get! Service is fast and the staff is very nice. The quality is generally consistent, but like any Panda Express, you might catch them at a bad time when the food isn’t fresh and a bit soggy.

Well, the damn chow mein wasn't like regular chow mein. It was back to the old type they had years back. The chow mein was like angel hair pasta noodles. A big no no.

Food is always as expected at Panda Express. Never had a bad experience at this location so it's a solid choice for a bite to test that many people might forget about as an option in Manteca. Especially on this part of town with In n Out and Chic Filet and so many other big name restaurants right by hogging the lime light. Panda recently released an app and you can get a discount on your next visit when you sign up or install the app and place your order through that channel. Pretty nice and easy app to use too.

Not 5 stars because it seems no matter what time I go in, they are out of something and we have to wait. Late afternoons plan on waiting a bit longer just because they get extremely busy. Food always tastes the way it should which is great. They just need to get better at planning employees schedules for busy times.

It was good. I've had better, but I've had worse Panda Express. The cashier was nice as was the one boxing my food. They seemed to be training a lot of new people so hopefully it stays good.

Convenient because it's open until 11. Also has a good rewards program through the app. The food also isn't bad for fast food.

Food is very greasy. Also, although the place is always clean and fast, parking is very difficult to find as they are basically the last store on a long and narrow streets where 2 cars can barely drive side by side.

The food was great, but I bought the teriyaki chicken, but they were out of teriyaki sauce, and had no sweet & sour sauce for my egg roll. I guess tonight wasn't my night.

Its excellent robust flavors that satisfy my cravings for something delicious. The one in Manteca off Yosemite was ok however I've been to the one by Orangeburg and Briggsmore in Modesto and they give larger portions and Staff is always friendly as well as helpful...

It's panda Express... No matter which location you visit it will not compare to authentic Asian food. My kid loves the food. They were very well staffed but that was for lunchtime I'm sure. This location is right next to a Starbucks and an in and out so parking is miserable.

Food came out good, but they didnt have half the menu and i all together waited 30 minutes. Going through the drive thru is so its fast and convinent & it was neither.

Hit or miss. Sometimes the food here is fresh, hot and tasty and other times it tastes old, is cold and gnarly. We use this location because of the drive thru.

Service is good. Thru the drive thru watched a clerk drop food box on the ground. And put back on the counter. Really hope it it wasn't used for another customer

Normally I love there services but my last visit was terrible forgot some of my food and i was charged to busy to go back and know i dont want to bother going back i think i will try different place to eat for a while and the portions seemed less than previous times

the employees that work in the front and the window stand around and chit chat! I was told my teriyaki chicken would be about 10 15 min. well the chicken came out and I just waited to see who was going to finish my order....yeap they kept talking and getting food for the drive through and yet only one person was on the inside at least 5 employees talking cooks are amazing they were working their butts off! finally after 10 min the young lady that took my order told another female employee to ginish my order! for the price you pay I got 3 pieces of broccoli and 3 pieces of beef lol...clean on the inside but too much chatting especially when your waiting for hot food.

This place is a Panda. I do enjoy the orange chicken, noodles, and broccoli beef. I would say that the pricing is usual now that everything else is expensive. You can't do much about that. When the drive-thru is packed, just go inside. When the inside is packed, go through the drive-thru. I'd eat here again. I'm not sure what portions are correct. They may need to start putting how much belongs on a bowl, plate, whatever to keep consistency. One time you get 3 pieces of chicken, the next you get 14. I'd like to know what I'm paying for just so I don't feel ripped. Thanks for the food!

What has happened to the portion sizes??? The take out container is much smaller as well as the portion sizes......prices are at least the same or more ( I really didn't pay attention until I got home and opened the containers......what the heck???

Quality seems to be decreasing regularly. The last two meals I've eaten here were pretty awful. The last was completely inedible (I ordered grilled chicken and fried rice, because how bad can it be?)...well, the fried rice was undercooked to the point of still being crunchy and the chicken was so fatty it was mush in my mouth. The time before was fried rice and double Shanghai Angus for with I paid a premium. Of the 2 smallish scoops of Angus I got, there was at least half a scoop of fat chunks with no meat at all attached. The rice was at least good that time though...

I was really looking forward to eating my free entree bowl from my T-Mobile Tuesdays App. I waited patiently for about 10 mins for someone to help me because it was busy. A couple walked in after me & walked up to the glass talking to each other trying to decide what to order. An employee stopped what she was doing behind the counter & told them she was ready to take their oder. I was furious, the couple must have noticed my reaction since they offered to let me go ahead of them. I was polite & insisted on them going ahead. When the employee finally acknowledged why I was furious she go told me she could help me, I said no I'll keep waiting since there is a line now. She shrugged it off as if she didn't care. I will never go to that location again! Maybe they should hire more people to work during busy hours or train employees on how to deal with frustrated customers better.

Beef and Broccoli has NO Beef!!!! Do they rip off the drive thru customers on purpose? Don't under serve us. We're hungry too!! And we order a LOT of food. Don't skimp on our meals please!! I'm gonna be back and check up on y'all! See ya soon!

I love panda but honestly I had a bad experience today. First of all, you can’t do more than one order on the drive through. I told the girl in the drive through that I would just go around another time and she tells me that wouldn’t be much of a difference like what? I seriously can’t go around two times? Lol rude! Also got ONE piece of beef for my broccoli beef. My teriyaki chicken is burnt. Also my brother asked for water and they gave him sparkling water! We had to throw that away. Wish I could get my money back. Sigh.

My dog and I took a car ride to get dinner and him used to the car. We were asked to wait 5 minutes for fresh food. Not a problem. Well 20 minutes later I had to drive back through the drive thru. Very annoyed with the service tonight, guess I remember why I'd rather drive to Ripon or Lathrop

So their food has gone downhill. We ordered on the website a catering order. We told them we would pick up at 12 but we got a text saying the rider was ready for pickup. It was about 1130 or so. When we get there they told us we had to wait because it wasn't ready. We told them we hit a notification that it was ready for pickup. They td us that they don't send out notifications or text messages. They got our order ready but they just seemed bothered that we showed up early. The food was not great either. The location was very clean though.

Long wait. Water dispenser is broken on fountain. Orange chicken doesn't taste right. Rice is mushy. Rest of the food was good. Tables were dirty. 9$ for a plate of okay good. This use to be one of my favorite places several years ago and every time I go back now I am reminded of how far its fallen.

Service was terrible in drive thru , had only two iteam and thats after wait for about 9 min at order mic . They came on and said to hold a 5 more mins . This one was a bad experience.

Very bad experience at this Panda express. I have always liked the food from panda express but this restaurant, which is the nearest to my house has very bad service when talking about food. The rice doesnt even have a good flavor and every time I have been there they give me the wrong food or something is wrong, like today I ordered teriyaki chicken with sauce to go and they didnt give me the sauce plus the rice was verybad

My friend recently ordered rice from here.. They gave her chow mein noodles instead. And she had an allergic reaction to it. Would not recommend

The staff doesn't care, your order is small, and god forbid you ask for a different sauce than the one they throw in the bag. Waste of money to go to this location.

Overcooked food and bad customer service on top of being advertised as closing at 1030 they would not cook what I originally ordered at 930. Forced to order whatever they had left an hour before they close. Bad business!

Rude Chinese lady at the counter. She made us wait because she had to fill her orders first before us. I pulled a chair out to sit in. Then she said , those chairs are there for a purpose and no to sit on. Well if you didn’t have us wait soo long then I wouldn’t need a chair. My husband asked for one of the food items and she said no, why? Then she said she already gave it away on another order. She wasn’t even wearing her face mask. She had it on but she covered her chin with it. So she was still talking over the food. Her mouth not gonna reed. She was just plain rude. We weren’t even greeted at all. We left and went to the other Panda in Manteca. When we first walked in we were greeted and was given quick service and very nice workers. High give to the Panda at Daniels Ave !! Great service !!

Waited forever with only 2 cars in front of us. Forgot to order something at the mic, got up to the window and asked for it. I was told that they couldn't ring anything up at the window. What kind of BS is that? You're gonna make me drive all the way around and wait in the growing line again that you already can't handle for a single egg roll? Whatever. You're money lost. The food was not to the standard I've had at other Panda Expresses. The fried rice was white and flavorless, the veggies in the rice were hard and undercooked. Steak tastes funny, and was mostly asparagus. Not what I expect when I have to pay extra for it. The only palatable thing on the plate was the orange chicken. This place used to be the best in town. Looks like it's taken a turn for the worse. Won't be coming back.

Showed up in the Drive-Thru at 10 p.m. after grocery shopping first we looked online to see what time they closed the store said 1030 so we proceeded to go in the drive thru. We pulled up to the speakerbox asks a automated message said they were closed. Immediately after someone answered so i politely asked if they were still open. A extremely rude girl answered with "well I answered so I guess we are open." We just drove straight through without ordering and went to in and out instead. We won't be back.

Very very very rude! I called today about 3 mins ago and a guy answered the phone and he was so rude I won’t ever call or eat at this location again! I will also be informing my company about how rude the guy was over the phone And make sure they won’t order anymore food from there!

Nasty old food nothing fresh and would not make any due to closing in 50 mins. Went to the other panda bye home depot they were closing in a hour and were making food for me and other customers with no problems. Don't waste your time there go to the 1 bye home depot

The food isn't good anymore. The meat entrees hardly have any meat in them it's all breading. They've really gone down hill over the past year.

Be warned if you go there in the evening they'll say we're close to closing and only have two items on their menu available other than rice. Keep in mind this is 30 minutes before closing 45 minutes before closing you should still have your menu available

Horrible customer service. Came an hour and half before closeing and was told no they couldnt make anymore food. Food is burnt with very small portions and mostly vegetables very little noodles for chow mein. Server was very rude and unhelpful. There was no one else there inside or in drive thru but i still waited 10 minutes before they even took my order.

I was going through the drive through to get me and my 4 year old son some food. As I pulled up to the drive through speaker I sat there for about 2 minutes waiting for someone to take my order. I finally decided to say hello to the speaker a few times before someone answered me back and she said what do you want! Rather than how may I take your order. Then as I started placing my order she started (rudely) interrupting my order repeating to me (is that all)! In the middle of me clearly speaking. Over and over she kept saying (is that it) or (is that all) but very aggressively toned like she was frustrated. I started finishing my order with my sons meal. I asked what kind of drinks they have available for kids? She said with a (rude and unfriendly tone)...we only have sodas. I then asked what about lemonade do you all have lemonade? She didnt reply and just added it to the screen order. Then I told her that was all. She didnt give me my order total eather. I drove up to the window and asked the girl at the window if she was the one who took my order. She didnt respond to me. I read her name tag her name was (Lyzeth). I made sure she could here me by speaking clearly when she handed me my food I told her I would like to speak to a manager and she said we are to busy right now! I told her I didnt care at that point I was not getting customer service and wanted to make a complaint. She then went and got another co worker who claimed to be the person in charge there. I asked her were the manager or shift supervisor was and she said I could speak to her cause she was the person left in charge. Again feeling like I was getting horrible service. I started to make my complaint about my rude drive through experience to (the person left in charge) and she was also (rude) to me to. I dont even think the person I talked to was a supervisor or manager. I will make sure to make a bad review on google as well. Horrible rude experience is all I can say there is no costumer service anymore. Also I didnt get my vegie spring rolls I ordered and was charged for.

My last visit was terrible!!!!! First we gave my wife's credit card to pay there was a young lady doing the transaction with the card and there was a young man looking over her shoulder at my wife's credit card mouthing the numbers of her card like he was trying to memorize the numbers. I told him to knock it off he gave me a dirty look and had a bad atitude.I think it made him angry he got caught doing it. Then when we got our order it was wrong and without forks, napkins or straws. I asked for the manager and told her what my wife and I had just witnessed and received. I/we will not go to this Panda Express ever again

This is hands down the worst Panda Express I have ever been to (actually, one of the worst restaurants period). Food was way sub par and the service was rude, dismissive, and downright awful. On top of that, 2 hours before closing, they shut down the bathrooms for the day after they cleaned them. We had to walk to another store for our children to use the restroom. So disgusted with this place.

My brother passed away due to covid and we had nothing prepared for Easter, so we order 11 plates and 2 appetizers from Panda Express on Hulsey. I did an online pickup and having the peace of mind that I would be able to feed my family with their desired plates. $140 worth of food & they were all I correct nothing but orange chicken and chow mein and I order bigger plates and was just all plates. I called to complain and their approach was to bring all the food back, so they can just re do and just keep the family at home starve. I have them an hour and half to prepare the 11 plates and it was just unfortunate experience.

This location is very miserable. We don't receive a proper portion of what we paid. I have bought in other 2 location close by and they serve reasonable amount of food.I won't never come back to this location and won't recommend it to anybody else.

Ordered two family feasts and the server barely filled up the boxes. When I said I was willing to wait for the new food to come out she proceeded to smile and gave me what was left anyway. My boxes were not full, never had this issue before at different Panda Expresses, so I was very disappointed for what I got and paid for. Bad service.

Always packed, line was very long. Service was terrible no greeting or acknowledgement when I drove up to window or when I asked for sauces. Order was incorrect, correct on receipt but got 2 incorrect items. Dont even get me started on the portion size. Fried rice was burnt. Service is simply terrible nowadays. Paid, got my food and left. No thank you or goodnight either. I was simply ignored.

most of the time this place okay. today I ordered their steak and shrimp with orange chicken. who ever cooked the orange chicken forgot to Add the sweet sauce to it and it tasted all sour on top of that I asked for soy sauce they gave me teriyaki sauce. I just ate what I could and threw rest in the garbage.

We ordered 2 teriyaki bowls and 1 teriyaki plate. This is our usual order. The orders were all approximately half the size as usual and we didnt get a drop of teriyaki sauce. Not on the food, not in a separate container. Just very small portions of very dry rice and chicken. Tried to call to see if we could speak to someone but they didnt answer the phone. Awful experience and definitely not worth the price.

I ordered 4 plates with different items drive through when I opened my order was something else and eggplant tofu was overlooked and was very old instead of fried rice i got steamed rice. I called restaurant # 1023 Manteca CA 20 times somebody answered and when I tried to complete my she hung up. After that I called 20 times they picked up and didnt respond. Extremely negligent and don't respect the customer.

We ordered 2 teriyaki bowls and 1 teriyaki plate. This is our usual order. The orders were all approximately half the size as usual and we didnt get a drop of teriyaki sauce. Not on the food, not in a separate container. Just very small portions of very dry rice and chicken. Tried to call to see if we could speak to someone but they didnt answer the phone. Awful experience and definitely not worth the price.

I ordered 4 plates with different items drive through when I opened my order was something else and eggplant tofu was overlooked and was very old instead of fried rice i got steamed rice. I called restaurant # 1023 Manteca CA 20 times somebody answered and when I tried to complete my she hung up. After that I called 20 times they picked up and didnt respond. Extremely negligent and don't respect the customer.

I verified fried rice with the window cashier. I got white rice. Also no soy sauce. I guess I have to except incomplete and inaccurate orders.

They get confused so easily and the order service is too slow and they barely have anything on the menu out of stock most of the time

This location is very miserable. We don't receive a proper portion of what we paid. I have bought in other 2 location close by and they serve reasonable amount of food.I won't never come back to this location and won't recommend it to anybody else.

Just order on the drive trough and realized there was no fork or straw had to drive back and not an apology or anything from them. Not coming back for sure.. oh yeah they took my 1 dollar donation all right.😬
