Black Diamond Grill

Had the most amazing and delicious dinner at the Black Diamond Grill. We had calamari for an appetizer, husband ordered the cowboy rib eye and shrimp, and I had the filet mignon. Our steaks were cooked to perfection, the mashed potatoes and the grilled veggies were delicious. We shared the raspberry cheesecake for dessert and that was also delectable. We will definitely go back to this restaurant. The restaurant is not spacious - very cute and quaint. There's a serious shortage of good restaurants in the area. I highly recommend this one. The service is also outstanding.

Food was delicious, I got the chicken picatta. Larger portions than expected (I had leftovers for lunch the next day - reheated well too). The atmosphere was welcoming and kid friendly! AND Great quick service.

Awesome food and service! Today was our first time in and won’t be the last. My husband got the cowboys cut ribeye special. I was looking at a single pizza but the pizza oven was out, good change for me to have dessert. The tiramisu was heavenly and a perfect choice for dinner.

Stopped in because my Godson had bball practice real close. Man was I in for a treat. From the veggies, to the garlic mash to the well seasoned, perfectly cooked filet special. It’s this quaint little house where you feel like someone is cooking for their company. Even the veggies were perfect. I honestly hope my Godson has practice at that gym again. Well done. Server was great too!

Our first time visiting and we will definitely go back! I had the seafood fettuccine, the shrimp and scallops were cooked to perfection and the sauce was amazing. My husband had the carbanara and enjoyed it as well. The raspberry lemon drop was delicious and the creme brule for dessert was excellent.

Italian dining establishment with a small bar in Black Diamond‘s old town. Quite nice - bones of a fine dining establishment . Traditionally Black Diamond had a hard time supporting any dining establishments beyond the bakery. It’s been a decade since I tried - I liked this experience and it looked like good clientele to me. I went for lunch, which is new for the grill. The waitress was prompt and competent. I’m a good cook, so I’m fussy. I had a simple meatball sandwich with fries. First thing about meatballs - can’t be big, second thing, can’t be dry. These were small and juicy - could not tell if they were homemade because the size and coloring looked package, but good nevertheless. Sauce was good, just the right amount of cheese and it was stuffed in a artisan roll. French fries decent. Ice tea good. I’d go again, perhaps for diner.

Everything in this restaurant is excellent beginning with kindest people and finishing on food!👌 We went for date night and it was perfect. Place is very cozy and clean! Food was great. OH MY WORD!!! This was more than incredible and 10 Stars!! I love love love eating local wherever I am and on this trip, Black Diamond Grill is 100% my favorite. Staff is incredible, everyone of them. Helpful, kind and patient. 30% tip or higher for real. I had Pear and Gorgonzola Ravioli. I would not normally order Ravioli but the sweet creamy bosc pear sauce captured my attention. It did not disappoint...so full of flavor and perfectly cooked ravioli made this delightful, no take home container for me. My son had the Hickory Burger. 7 oz patty with hickory bacon, onion rings, tomato and green leaves with bulls eye bbq sauce served on a brioche bun. The bacon was 😀 thick and beautiful...he loved it and wants to go back before we leave again for another. Now, the piece-de-resistance...my friends who live here have of course been here before so they have a favorite. It's mine too 😁. The Prime Rib is .....in my entire life I've never had a steak quite like this😌 It was so tender, I mean it actually melts in your mouth for real. IT MELTS IN YOUR MOUTH. Minimal chewing effort required. The chef should be world renowned.

Service was excellant, manager came to our table. The cowboy steak(as you can see by the picture) shrimp was amazing. The pizza is the best I've had in awhile. Full bar, nice environment. We will deffinately be back.

The food and service was perfection. The warm bread drizzled in garlic and oil was so fresh. I got the Pear gorgonzola ravioli and it was so light and creamy. My husband got the sirloin and shrimp and was impressed. We also got the calamari- also highly recommended. We'll definitely be back!

I only wish the secret was better kept. I absolutely love this place. The setting in Black Diamond is laid back and charming. The staff and the ambience are warm and welcoming. I've had Salmon, Steak, Chicken and Pasta dishes and recommend them all. Presentation and preparation are well above expectations. I've not had anything that was not perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. My only regret is that they don't accept reservations. Black Diamond Grill is gaining notoriety and availability of tables is limited. I won't be deterred, they are worth a bit of a wait.

Took some friends’ advice and finally tried the Black Diamond Grill tonight, and wow. The food was fantastic, the ambiance, the melt‑in‑your‑mouth steak… everything was top‑notch. Great service by the way, and we even left with leftovers (plus dessert to go). Great for a special night out or anytime you want truly amazing food.

I can't forget to mention the buttery garlic toasted bread, I almost could have made an entire meal with that. We will be back!

Drinks were well-priced (beer, margarita, Riesling) and entrees like chicken Florentine, Alfredo, and primavera were flavorful and served hot. Desserts (raspberry cheesecake and crème brûlée) were outstanding. The restaurant is small and set in what feels like an old home, with about 15 tables inside plus a few on the porch. Inside was a bit noisy and cold, but staff happily moved us outside which was perfect. Service was pleasant, though our server sometimes forgot small requests like extra bread or to-go boxes until later. Prices were fair, portions generous, and the menu well-rounded. My only nitpicks: not much spinach in the Florentine and no Pinot Noir on the wine list. Parking is limited but we managed across the street. Bottom line: Definitely worth a visit for the food and atmosphere, even a short road trip.

Party of eight. Service was slowly paced but good. Appetizers and bread delicious. Most meals very good..but seafood fettuccini had mushrooms - very bad addition to seafood.!! Please don't do that.
