Yes it is a bit more expensive than other places but worth every single penny! We were a family of 15 with kids and they were soooo nice to seat and place us all!

We spent Christmas Eve at Yerba Santa and it was an amazing experience. As you arrive the architecture blows your mind and they did a superb job with all the decorations! The service is outstanding - Anuar took great care of us and provided great advice and recommendations. The food is world class - try the ceviche, the duck with mole and the salmon! We will absolutely come back any time we visit Merida!

Absolutely beautiful venue with amazing food. Definitely get the duck mole, tenderloin, and the maybe Caesar salad. It is in a very gorgeous setting. We sat in the Grand Room inside. The bar on the second floor also like a lot of fun.

Such an amazing place in Merida. We just finished the dinner and I couldn’t be more happy with the whole experience. Stuff is really friendly and professional, they took great care of my table and made sure nothing was missing. All the dishes we fantastic and look like art pieces. Can recommend octopus with avocado, great combination of structures and flavors, Cesar salad was maybe not polished but for sure surprising with the passion fruit hints and the star of the evening- ribs. That alone was something I would 100% come back for. The whole atmosphere of that place, real elegance, nice design and friendly waiters plus the food makes it one of the rare places not to miss when you are in Yucatan. Thanks for changing my opinion about Mexican food!

The place is beautiful and the hostesses are very polite. The interior takes you back in time. There is a speak easy area on the second floor. The restrooms also are hidden and you get to them through the back of a bookshelf. I was delighted with the dessert. This is the first time I try a scoop of Tortilla Ice Cream, another scoop of albahaca ice cream and the last one of chocolate that tasted like pinole. I highly recommend you to try those.

We recently celebrated our 10-year anniversary at Yerba Santa, and I cannot say enough about how incredible the experience was. From the moment we walked in, the staff went above and beyond to make our evening unforgettable. They coordinated with me, a surprise mariachi to serenade my wife, which truly made the night magical. The food was absolutely delicious, and every dish was presented like a work of art. The attention to detail in both the service and the presentation made it clear that this is an establishment that takes great pride in creating memorable experiences for their guests. Thank you to the entire team at Yerba Santa for making our 10 year anniversary celebration so special. This is a night we will remember forever, and we can’t wait to return.

The architecture and environment were exceptional, so this was a very pleasant experience as a start. I ordered some ceviche balam, which was visually very pretty but lacked something in taste (so very good but not exceptional) and vegetables mole, which was a true explosion of taste (apparently this mole is made by using a family recipe and is a signature dish, totally recommended!). I accompanied my meal with some nice Mexican wine. Overall I was satisfied with the experience and spot on service by Pablo C. However, the reservation procedure was a bit time consuming: information on allergies and special celebrations were asked twice by message and once in person. Also to me it felt that there was too much personnel with confusing roles.

Excellent dinner. The location is at a beautiful historic building. The food is amazing. We had the “maybe cesar salad” made of very fresh ingredients. Perfect Lots of different flavors that I had to ask the waiter where they were. Fresh croutons, Parmesan wafers and fresh croutons. Try it. For main course we had the duck with mole. It was cooked to perfection. Medium well. I have never tried a better mole than this. Try the passion fruit margarita. It is awesome. I also tried the Mexican red wine. Very good. The dining room table is made of labradorite. Thank you Carmen for showing us around. What a beautiful place. The terrace is so beautiful. Just perfect.

Phenomenal place set in a historical mansion. Visually stunning. Service was first class. The Mayan Ceviche and Salmon were fantastic. So much flavor in each plate. Loved our dinner here. The old building has so much character and very cool bathrooms entrances through a hidden bookcases.

One of the best meals I’ve ever eaten at a restaurant. And I’ve been to many all over the world. The quality of ingredients, flavors and presentation were all outstanding. The ambiance, in a renovated mansion, is breathtaking. We were a table of 7 and the service was also outstanding. Also had a chance to meet the chef, who came out to serve their desert platter. Wow!!!

Un lugar hermoso! Todo impecable, el olor muy característico y la comida deliciosa. Tuvimos tema con un corte de carne, lo comentamos y lo hicieron de nuevo sin tema. El único detalle son las hostess que te mandan al rincón aunque el lugar esté prácticamente vacío.

Toco festejar aniversario de bodas, y mi primer duda.. para que te preguntan que festejas ? Si no te van a mandar nada de cortesía... un detallito al menos que diga feliz aniversario.. pero en fin, hay dejo la sugerencia, y pasando a otro punto, lugar muy bonito, limpio, atención de 10, me gustó mucho que el mesero nos dio la interpretación de cada plato y sugerencias para comerlo, yo pedi un pulpo, y unos camarones, mi esposa el menú de degustacion, que es muy recomendado si quieres probar mas de un platillo, es de 7 tiempos , y la mayoría fue de nuestro agrado, el último es el de los postres y casi dejamos limpio el plato, en cuanto al pulpo, muy bueno en todos los aspectos y los camarones...una delicia!!!! Las 4 estrellas de la comida fue por algunos platillos, digamos que están buenos, si regresaría por esos camarones, pero a la terraza ahora..relación calidad, precio y experiencia.. lo vale , la cuenta con propina por dos personas , 3700 , no es barato, pero vale la pena pasar si andas en Merida.

Un lugar espectacular, con buena atención que puede dar más para estar a la altura del lugar, en cuanto a lo sustantivo, la comida, con una presentación impecable, en mi visita se notaba la falta de supervisión cercana de la cheff, sabores dispersos y con falta intensidad fueron la característica tanto en la entrada como en la comida, afortunadamente el desencanto mejoró con el postre. Si no lo conoces ve por internet café y postre, el lugar es muy lindo. La nota chusca es la ubicación de los baños ocultos tras una puerta con apariencia de librero son como de un lugar diferente.

Quise llevar aquí a mi papá por su cumpleaños, es un lugar nuevo que del que no había escuchado, si es un poquito más lujoso de lo que esperaba. En general bien tuvimos que hacer reservación. Yo pedí el menú degustación muy bueno si no sabes qué pedir y estás abierto a diferentes sabores y texturas. Todo estaba muy bien enlatado la atención de la señorita que nos atendió más o menos, pero también nos estuvo atendiendo Jimmy muy amable muy considerado, le explicarnos los platos y muy atento al ofrecerse acompañarnos al sanitario por la experiencia. Me parece que estuvo muy bien

El lugar está divino y la atención es excelente. En lo personal tenía mil ganas de cenar en el restaurante pero corrí con mala suerte porque soy vegana y alérgica a los cacahuates y champiñones y las únicas opciones veganas tenían estos ingredientes. Los precios son bastante altos por lo que mejor decidí no arriesgarme a pedir algo simple que pudiera comer. Pedimos unos tragos que estaban muy buenos y mejor nos fuimos a cenar a otro lugar. Comparto carta para precios y referencias futuras porque yo vi una carta en línea de hace dos años por eso me confié en ir.

La casa es espectacular,antiguamente un museo, los alimentos son de diseñador, es comida gourmet. Tiene un sampler que abarca los mejores platillos, los cuales me parecieron demasiado intetesantes pero minúsculos. Se agregó un maridaje que me pareció que era una pobrísima porción de vino por cada sampler y que en total no se hacia una copa de vino si se juntaran todas las porciones. El costo del sampler era 1600 x persona y 1300 el maridaje por persona. Al final aunque el.sitio es realmente hermoso, la relación precio- calidad no me dejó satisfecho. La atención fue muy buena si duda.

We visited Yerba Santa Mérida as a family, with our two kids, and overall it was a very enjoyable experience. I’d rate it 4/5. The ambiance is excellent and truly one of the restaurant’s strongest points. The setting feels elegant and almost magical—beautifully restored architecture, warm lighting, classic details, and a refined atmosphere both outdoors and indoors. From the grand entrance to the tastefully set tables, it’s the kind of place that immediately feels special and memorable, without being unwelcoming for families. From a culinary perspective, the restaurant clearly has all the right ingredients to be a 5/5. The flavors are complex, layered, and ambitious, showing a lot of creativity and intention. However, the execution didn’t fully match the vision on this visit. For example, the risotto was just slightly undercooked, which affected the final impression. Dishes like these rely heavily on precision, and with such nuanced flavor profiles, they really demand a very experienced palate and flawless technique to shine. That said, the potential here is undeniable. The cuisine is thoughtful and bold, and with a bit more consistency in execution, this could easily become one of Mérida’s standout dining experiences. Final thoughts: A beautiful restaurant with excellent ambiance, creative and complex flavors, and huge potential. Definitely a must-try in Mérida, especially if you appreciate refined settings and adventurous cuisine.

El lugar es hermoso en historia y arquitectura, pero el servicio tiene que mejorar cuanto antes, no se si solo me toco mala suerte, pero el mesero que nos atendió parecía que tuvo un mal día ya que nos trató super mal, déspota como si no fuéramos a pagar por la comida, nos presionó para pedir los alimentos casi como si fuera obligatorio y no por elección de lo que queríamos ordenar y nos percatamos de que eso solo pasó en nuestra mesa, la comida tampoco me parecio sorprendente ya que en sabor es bastante regular comparando calidad - precio, en general solamente regresaría por la belleza del sitio, porque de ahi en fuera si hubiera querido que me tratarán así, hubiera ido a comprar telas a hacho martín 🤣, con decir que en el bar de al lado nos trataron muchísimo mejor que ahí, lo cual nos arreglo un poco la noche. En resumen: Belleza del lugar 10/10 Servicio 3/10 Comida 5/10

Place is beautiful !!! As an experience it great option bought food is not great. Place is overrated. We were a big party couple meals were discussing unable to eat. Couple of them ok, and just 2 out off 15 plates were really good. It is a shame because restaurants is awesome and dishes presentation were impeccable. We are Mexican we are used to all Type of food. It was not that we’re new flavor or food for. Service was excellent too. I can recommend their cocktails!!!

However, when I ordered the Rib Eye steak expecting 400 grams (about 14 oz), what I got was nowhere near that—closer to 8 oz at best. On top of that, the steak was thin and supposed to be blackened, but it was far from it. For almost $1,000 pesos, it simply isn’t worth it. ⸻ El lugar es precioso y la atmósfera no tiene comparación. Sin embargo, pedí el Rib Eye de 400 gramos (aprox. 14 onzas) y lo que me sirvieron no llegaba ni cerca… con suerte serían 8 onzas. La experiencia inicial destaca por lo imponente de la arquitectura y fachada del restaurante. En principio, es muy agradable la armonía que se percibe al entrar, no obstante; la experiencia comienza a mermarse al primer momento en el que el servicio entra a quite. Los meseros, específicamente David, transitan con una inexplicable prepotencia y falta de gesto hacia un trato esperado en un lugar de dicho calibre. La comida, lamentablemente por muy vistosa que sea, carece completamente de carisma, sabor y encanto, aunado a un inesperado desagrado por un pelo en la comida. En general, no recomiendo este lugar en lo absoluto. Si bien, la apariencia es inmaculada, la expectativa que se genera se queda en lo mismo: expectativa.

Tienen una excelente presentación en sus platillos... si fuera fotógrafa, servirían para fotos de revista de gastronomía. Sin embargo, sus sabores, consistencias combinaciones... no encantaron a mi ni a mi grupo. Conclusión: no hay relación entre calidad y precio. Subo las fotos ya que la apariencia, es muy buena.
