El servicio es muy atento y rápido. El local es amplio y bonito. La comida esta riquísima y sabrosa. Recomiendo la musaka y la tarta de chocolate con crema de queso y lima. Los baños están limpios. Pagamos 25€ por persona incluyendo 1 plato por persona, 1 ensalada para compartir entre 4, dos tartas para 4 y 1 bebida por persona. A la hora de pedir fuera de carta recomiendo preguntar precio, los canalones valían 13,5€ y los que ofrecieron ese dia (canalones de boletus) 18€. Aún así, bastante bien de precio y buena calidad y servicio :)

Restaurante calidad precio bueno. La verdad que lo que hemos pedido estaba buenísimo. Lasaña espectacular y la ensalada muy contundente. Todo lo hemos compartido entre dos personas. Nos hemos fijado que en la mesa de al lado han pedido unos champiñones rellenos con muy buena pinta. Nos ha dado pena que lunes y martes estuviera cerrado y solo hayamos podido disfrutar de este lugar un día. Lo recomiendo sin duda. El postre delicioso. Atención al cliente de 10.

Pedimos una ración completa de ensalada de burrata (fuera de carta), media de tabuleg (ligero y fresco) y media de burrito de soja texturizada (de lo mejor que he comido en restaurantes vegetarianos). Además, bizcocho de plátano con chocolate negro y 4 copas de vino de la tierra, pagamos 47'30€

La comida está IMPRESIONANTE! Especial mención a los crepes de calabacín dorado (o calabacín dorado solo) y la musaka, ambos de otro nivel. Probamos los champis y gyozas y también estaba riquísimo, sin duda el mejor sitio en el que he cenado en Mérida. ¡Volveremos!

¡Una experiencia vegana que enamora en Shangri-la! Desde el momento en que entras a Shangri-la Mérida, te das cuenta de que no es un lugar más. El ambiente es increíblemente acogedor y relajado, y el servicio es de esos que te hacen sentir como en casa. Pero lo que realmente brilla aquí es la comida. Como vegano, a veces es difícil encontrar opciones que sean realmente creativas y sabrosas, pero este restaurante es un paraíso culinario. Si hay algo que tienes que probar sí o sí son los nachos. Olvídate de cualquier otro que hayas probado, estos son un festín para los sentidos. El "queso" cremoso y picante, la explosión de sabores y la generosidad de los ingredientes te dejarán sin palabras. Son la prueba perfecta de que la comida vegana puede ser la más deliciosa. Y para cerrar la noche con broche de oro, no puedes irte sin pedir el postre crujiente de chocolate. Es una obra de arte. La combinación de texturas, con ese crujido perfecto que se mezcla con un chocolate profundo y delicioso, es simplemente sublime. Es el final ideal para una comida memorable y la mejor manera de satisfacer cualquier antojo dulce. Shangri-la no es solo un restaurante, es una experiencia que demuestra que la comida vegana es vibrante, emocionante y absolutamente deliciosa. ¡No puedo esperar a volver!

Lovely relaxed atmosphere with jazz playing in the background. Staff fast & efficient. Fantastic range of vegetarian food (a fabulous find for a vegetarian visiting Spain). The salads were fresh and extremely tasty, and we had the zucchini crepe and moussaka which were delicious. The dessert cakes looked amazing, but we were too full.

Excellent Experience – Highly Recommended! We were absolutely thrilled with our dining experience! The food was outstanding – everything was freshly prepared, and the flavors were simply amazing. There was a wide variety of dishes to choose from, so everyone in our group found something they loved. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We were a larger group, but everything ran smoothly and efficiently. The value for money was also very good. As a special highlight, the banana bread for dessert was absolutely delicious.

Highly recommend this restaurant for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike. The food was delicious - I had the crepes and burritos - and the cake was sinfully good. At lunch on a weekday it was quiet and comfortable, with polite, attentive service. Only one star off 'atmosphere' for the Coldplay jazz covers ;)

We patronized this wonderful vegetarian/vegan restaurant in Merida, Spain on a recommendation and we're glad we did. We - 7 of us- reached at around 3 pm but we're told that they close at 4 pm (guess for the afternoon) and we could not dine in. So we placed an order for takeout. The staff was friendly and professional and the food was very nicely packed. We ordered Greek Salad, stuffed mushrooms (excellent), Tony (excellent), burritos and an assortment of pies/cakes. Very tasty and delectable food. We waited in the restaurant till the food was ready and it is very cozy and nicely appointed. Will definitely patronize them again the next time in Merida.

A really terrific restaurant with a wide range of vegan and vegetarian dishes, great service and a relaxing environment. We enjoyed everything we ate, but the cakes for dessert were the star of the show - totally delicious! Highly recommended. We'll be back next time we're in Merida, that's for sure.

This restaurant serves perfect vegan and vegetarian food! You can take meat eating friends without problems, the food is so tasty and and satisfying, everyone will love it. Plenty of choice. For us three half portions, eventually with desert, was perfect. Apart from the food, the service was very good, pleasant and quick. The wine very nice.

Just yummy! 🥑🙌 I mean, it’s very difficult to find a vegetarian restaurant in Extremadura or even just veg options, so when I went to this restaurant for the first time I was all like yummy!!🤤 It is a cozy restaurant and the staffs are friendly, which makes it a perfect Whenever I visit the city I must have lunch at Shangri La. Also, I like to make reservation to make sure I won’t have to wait too long in case it gets busy.

Language is not a barrier when you are hungry Very nice place, very friendly staff (English speaking person was absent on that day probably), still we managed to understand each other (with google translate app, of course) perfectly. My wife had stuffed mushrooms and I had a vegan burrito with veggies and beans. I even managed to order a spicy sauce on the side. The dessert we had was a vegan Apple pie with raspberry-mango ice-cream. The ice-cream texture and flavor were so rich and creamy - we triple checked it doesn't contain any dairy products and is really vegan. Prices are really reasonable. Bottom line: If you are in Merida - this place is a must. Pros: Great food, Very friendly service, Affordable prices Cons: Didn't know English (was not really a con for us)

A good vegetarian place with many options. The best part is there are half plates in most dishes, so you can try many dishes. I loved the noodles and the bean wrap.

The golden zucchini crepe (fried potatoes, egg, onion, grated zucchini inside a crepe - half €7, full €13.50) was delicious. The wrap (red beans, with pineapple, peppers and cheese with sides of guacamole and salsa) was fine but nothing special - €6.50/€12). Service was friendly and efficient. The decor and atmosphere was very “granola” and earthy like veg cafes from the 70s.

Lovely restaurant and probably the only really nice vegan/vegetarian option in Merida. We came for dinner one night and it was too cold inside with the AC on, we came for lunch the next day and everything was open and we sat right by the street, it was absolutely LOVELY and super nice to sit just by the window above the street. The food was good and the vegan options a plenty :) Would recommend!

We were greeted warmly upon arrival, which made for a pleasant start. However, once inside, the strong smell of incense was overpowering and detracted from the dining experience. The food arrived one dish at a time instead of all together, which made it difficult to enjoy the meal as a group. We tried the quesadillas with bell peppers, the burrito with beans, and the rice noodles with vegetables. The flavor was okay, but unfortunately, the ingredients did not seem fresh. The guacamole was clearly not homemade, and some components—like the pineapple and bell peppers—were straight from a can. Honestly, I can only explain the many positive reviews by assuming that vegetarians and vegans in Mérida are just relieved to find any options at all. If there were more choices in town, I doubt this place would stand out
