This was my first visit to Bubba's 33 while I'm in town. I had the Bubba's 33 spicy chicken sandwich with spicy fries and it was delicious. Paired with a tall, ice cold Blue Moon, the total was only $20.. extremely reasonable. I'd be a regular if I lived here. The bartender and the atmosphere were great, not too loud, lots of screens if you're there to watch a few games or Chive TV. The guy at the bar next to me was a local regular who made for worthwhile conversation, too. This place just has that friendly local vibe you can appreciate. I'll def return next time I'm in town.

I had the guacamole burger with fire fries! It was cooked just as I wanted, medium. I'd been there once before & got the pizza & wings. The food is spot on.

Pretty good would normally be a 4 from me, but after sitting in the bar at Applebee's next door for 20 minutes with out being acknowledged I'll give that extra star for quick and speedy service here. Appreciate the good service I got here, seated immediately, my drink was full my entire visit, and over all the young lady with green hair as my waitress made sure I was taken care of during my time there. Pizza was pretty good and it's a Wednesday special for 11.99 which happened to be the night I visited. I'd return plenty of tvs with a variety of things on them and good service all around.

We've eaten here a few times and everything is delicious. I especially like the onion rings and mango margaritas! They have a HUGE variety on their menu and nice, friendly wait staff.

I've been eating at bubba's for a few years now, and I've thoroughly enjoyed each menu item I've ordered... From the grilled wings to the pizza, from lasagna to the Buffalo chicken sandwich. The other day I decided to go a little bit different and ordered the kale and quinoa salad with salmon fillet on top... incredible! Bottom line? This is a scratch kitchen where everything is made from fresh ingredients... You will not be disappointed!

Went there the first time last Sunday after church with a bunch of ladies. We had the best girl to serve us. She was very informative, friendly, and extremely nice. We all loved our food and plan on returning.

Their pizza was pretty good!! We had the “deluxe.” The kids pizza was pretty big, the wings weren’t bad either!! The atmosphere was awesome!!! The service was really great!!! The manager was very friendly.

Food and service was definitely a 5 star but I'm disappointed I can't go higher than a 5 star on the service I was sat near bar side with Martin as my server he was the best server I think I've ever received in all my times ever being out to eat I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich with loaded fire fries and my wife got the sunshine burger with regular loaded fries food was delicious I had customizations for my sandwich and before I could even notice my missing customizations were missing he came by and let me know he was already on top of it brought us extra seasoning extra ranch cracked jokes never even got low on drinks he was on top of everything while helping out his other tables on a Friday night when I come back I'll be making sure I sit in his section again

We went today for lunch and to visit bluey/bingo for my daughter’s third birthday and she had a blast! everyone was so friendly and the food was great!

There burgers are really good, there steaks could use some improvement and there drinks are pretty solid to overall a decent price and good food and the prices are pretty reasonable.

Bubba’s was definitely a treat. I really enjoyed the lively atmosphere. The food is really really good. I’m so glad me and my family decided to eat here, during our time in Mesquite, TX. I can’t wait to return, so I can try more of their delicious food.

11.07.22. Service with Sully was fab. To Go: California Chicken. Omg. 🥦 broccoli side and Mac n cheese with a side salad. Yummy. 03/28/2022: switched it up and stopped in on Monday - place was clean and all employees hustling! Tried something different, ordered the teriyaki wings for starters and they were excellent with perfect flavor and a side of celery and ranch. Had chicken tenders dinner salad and steamed broccoli. Fresh fresh fresh. The broccoli was perfect and the chicken tenders were just that. Tender! Perfect meal. 03/17/2022: Dropped by and ended up slightly disappointed service-wise. Juli and TJ got the evening back on track. Thanks for the experience.

Good night out with the family. My husband had a mushroom burger, I had the lasagna and our boys had pizza. The service was great and everything came out quick and hot. The cocktails were also very good. The family restroom was clean and the changing table works.

This is my first time here and already liked the atmosphere of the place as soon as I walked in, it’s not too bright which I absolutely love. Our server Fenet was absolutely amazing, she not only provided great service and hospitality, but what I loved most was her personality. She made our family feel right at home and I enjoyed the small chats with her. Thank you Fenet, you just gained a regular 🖤 as far as the food and prices go, I was pleasantly surprised at our total after drinks and food, which was also splendid!!

Great place to have a good drink and food. Love the laid back environment, specially when you don't want all that loud noise you'd get at other places. Would highly recommend it and their mixed drinks. Still same results. Nothing has changed quality wise only the price, but not my much.

I paid a visit to Bubba's 33 for a coworkers send-off party. It happened to be raining pretty hard that day, so it was pretty chill inside that evening. The food was good, but my only problem was that the old-fashioned was prepared a bit weird, so I ordered two just to make sure it wasn't me. The second drink was no different than the last. Long story short, no more old-fashioned for me. i'll stick to the draft moving forward.

Came in to watch the game and grab some food the atmosphere was awesome! The food tasted great. Our server, Fenet, was super kind and attentive the whole time, checking on us often and making sure we had everything we needed. Great service and a fun place to relax and watch the game!

I've been in TX since 1999. Texas is known for having good steaks. I tried many places over the years, and most of the restaurants had ok steaks, but nothing that would make me come back. Until I found Bubba's 33. Their steaks are perfectly cooked and true flavor. I always order the steak, and my son always orders chicken fried chicken because he said that Bubba's is one of the places with delicious cfc. Prices are very affordable. Staff is always courteous and attentive. I highly recommend this place.

I've gone here twice, the first time I got the fried chicken breast with mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. I loved it! Everything was freshly made. Our waitress was so sweet and attentive. Loved everything about it. Now the second time we went was just a couple of days ago.. it was very packed so I understand why things were coming out slow. Our waitress was great as usual, very attentive and professional. This time the food wasn't so great though, the chicken sandwich was extremely salty and hard to chew, and my daughter's pizza was kinda of cold when it came out. We were disappointed in the food but it was just that one time, 1 bad experience doesn't beat the good experience we had before. Everything else tasted great. I have recommended and will keep recommending people to eat here for sure.

I visited Bubba's 33 in Mesquite. I went on a Saturday after 4pm and it wasn't too crowded. Around 6pm it definitely started to pick up. When we arrived we were greeted by the host with a smile and seated right away. The atmosphere was really chill and we definitely enjoyed ourselves.Our server Selena was very nice and attentive. We started with the layered cheese fries and the honey chipotle boneless wings. Both were delicious. We ate the wings before I could get a picture. We had the burger with fries, pasta, and chicken tenders with fries. The chicken tenders were really tasty. All the food was good. We didn't have to wait long on our food because the service was really fast. With the 2 appetizers, 4 drinks, and five meals, I paid $100. I think it was worth it and the portion sizes were big. I will definitely visit Bubba's again.

Great place to take the family. There is ample seating options for any size party and age ranges. I got the spicy chicken sandwich and throughly enjoyed it. The breading was crispy and chicken cooked through perfectly. It's not as spicy as the description would have you believe but it has a little bit of a kick. Their triple crown margarita was one of the best I've had in a good long while.

Wow, I think I just had the best Fish and Chips ever! Pieces of fish were bigger than my hand. Brought out this yellow tartar sauce, didn't think I was gonna like but it was amazing with their fish. Had a sweetness to it that made it by far best fish and chips I've had in the state of Texas.

The weather was nice enough that they had the door open on the patio and bar area. We got the best of both worlds. A nice table with a breeze and a great view of the traffic and construction on nearby IH-635. 🙂

Service is very enjoyable and attentive. The menu has a variety of delicious entrées. I never order steaks, but I am so glad I did. My steak was tender, juicy,served hot. Another great adventure and worth it. The mash potatoes brought back memories of my mother's potatoes,just wonderful. This is going to be my go to for home cooking flavorful meals.

Wow! Visited the Tyler location two weeks ago and was blown away! We were driving down 635 and saw the Bubbas from the road and did some crazy GTA style driving in reverse wrong way on the service road cause if we miss the entrance it would have taken an hour to get back to the parking lot! Reverse James Rockford turn in the Suburban , we made it ! Y'all do whatever you have to do to get to Bubbas and get a burger STOP playing with those minor league B team burger places ! Bubbas 33 is the best! Don't forget the popper puck on top of your burger ! The best part of our meal was Caila! She is so cool and on it ! Had a ton on my mind and forgot to tell her how I wanted my burger cooked, but doesn't miss a thing ! She asked me how I wanted it cooked , I can't tell uu how important that is to me cause I hate well done anything. The kitchen served us two great medium- med rare burgers that were perfect! I mean perfect! Caila is the bomb! Drinks never low and we felt like we were here only customer even though she had a bunch of tables going. Note to manager: Y'all need her forever! She is going places probably right to upper management. Make a point to stop in and ask for Caila and a badass burger, you can thank me later . Nice job 10 out of 10

Been to this location a few times, and one in Arizona several times. There has been consistency through all the visits. Good food and great service. If you're looking for a quality American food restaurant, I haven't found better that has been this consistent each visit. We drive 45 minutes past several other chains, I don't know a better indicator than that. Happy hour drinks are reasonably priced and there are plenty of tvs around with good variety, usually good music as well, at least to my ears.

I always enjoy my time at Bubba’s 33! I ordered a pizza and the crooked cheese, and both were seriously delicious. The pizza had the perfect crispy crust, plenty of toppings, and just the right amount of cheese, it tasted super fresh and flavorful. The crooked cheese was also amazing, crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside, and a satisfying cheese pull. I also tried their blue lemonade. It was refreshing, sweet and had a unique flavor that I loved. The atmosphere at Bubba’s 33 is laid-back and similar to a sports bar, making it a great spot to hang out however, the music is played obnoxiously loud, so you’ll need to yell to talk with your fellow diners. The staff was friendly and attentive, and my food came out quickly.

This was an interesting experience. The parking lot was extremely packed, as it should be on a Friday Night, and we were lucky to find a spot. Inside, the wait was still pretty short and all the TV's and noise kept us distracted from our wait. This is not a place for anyone with sensory issues, it's easy to be overwhelmed. Now, the food and service were both stellar. Every single item they served was fantastic, well prepared, and seasoned to perfection. The dynamite hit that was delivered was the Garlic Knots. OMG, THEY WERE AMAZING. Our server was there frequently enough and his positive energy was more than welcome. It's just too bad it was so loud it was hard to hear him.

We choose this restaurant because we were able to being our puppy on the patio. Meal was delish. Service was friendly. Patio music is too loud. People at other tables had the same complaint... If you want to socialize, don't pick the patio, eat inside or go elsewhere.

I was disappointed. The taste was mediocre. The fish was scant and it was like having cut-up fish sticks on a taco shell. It just wasn't up to the Bubba's 33 standards. If they are to continue this on the menu, I would hope the would use batter fried white fish in the future.

Let me be really clear about this, Bubbas is not stingy about the portions they serve. I took food home and had dinner (Airfryer) to the rescue. I WILL be back. Now, being this was my birthday, the dessert was an insult. You can do much better. Okay, the drinks, do not sleep on their drinks. We had the Pink Lady and the Blue Ocean. I think I'm becoming a fan of Bubba's. I tried the grilled ribeye withmashed potatoes. Oh my gosh!!!! It was the best steak I'd had in a while. My husband order wings, they were good as well. Don't forget to try an alcoholic drink. I recommend the pink lady. It's mixed just right followed by the long islands.

Bubba's, today you get a 4. Ordered a cheese burger with tots. Added the cheese and bacon to my tots and that was my mistake. The tots were a little cold when they got to the table making the cheese hard too so when I attempted to pick up one tot I picked up all of them. The cheese also made the tots mushy. The burger on the other hand was really good. I also had a small shiner. Over all it was good but I will be skipping the cheese and bacon

surprisingly good pizza. some of the best "cornmeal style" crust in town. not the nest service, and often make mistakes in the order, but the generous manager compensates you when that happens. ive been back several times for the boarder line outstanding thin crust pizza.

Enjoyed a Tuesday night at Bubba's. No wait for seating and prompt attention from wait staff. Shrimp appetizer came out quickly and was tasty as expected, quickly followed by large burgers with french fries and tater tots. Tater tots were slightly overcooked and a little heavy on salt. Room temperature was a little cold so I would recommend bringing a light jacket with you.

Had some good pizza and fried pickles. My girls had hamburgers and shrimp po'boy that got mixed reviews. They loose a star on attention to detail. Several things didn't happen as ordered. Burger was order medium and it came out a very well done. Pizza was good but I ordered it well done and it was not. Our waitress was exceptional from the standpoint of personable, quick and efficient. The details that were missed were her responsibility, but she was a good waitress.

Took awhile to get acknowledged at the hostess area for a booth. Waiter was good, could’ve been a little more attentive to service but he was ok. We went on a Saturday afternoon, & it was busy but not packed. I’ll have the try them again bring it was my first time, to try other options of food.

I went there a couple weeks ago with my roommates. It was my first time there and it was a pretty normal experience. I got the Patriot Burger and tots with a blackberry lemonade. The burger was pretty good. It was above average far as taste, but nothing blew my mind. I will be back again though to try another type of burger and maybe a pizza.

Overrated food. Cool watch all the sports but my wife's cheese curds tasted like it was fried with fish and could be a huge problem if someone has a seafood allergy

First time here and it was okay. Service was great. Food was okay. The shrimp was really good.

Food was pretty good, but service was pretty bad. The server forgot about some of our drinks and had to be reminded about the side salad when our food was brought out and it was missing. Normally excusable if they were super busy, but they kept sitting down and talking to someone at another booth.

Budda’s has your typical bar fair, but above average, a lot of people order the pizza, which is pretty decent. They are a little inconsistent on cooks for burgers and steaks and the chicken. My dad had and his sandwich. The other day was an edible. It was tough and chewy, and he basically gave it to the dog. Service can be a hit or miss there seems to be a delay a lot from when you’re set to win a server actually knows you’re there. They do have quite a few options on the menu and it’s definitely worth going to especially for a happy hour. I will say the cheese fries were really good. They have two different types of cheeses like a queso and shredded. Pretty tasty.

I've eaten at Bubba's several times, and the food is consistently good. However, the men's restroom is always dirty, which is a real problem. On my last visit, I saw employees playing with a beach ball in what looked like the kitchen area. This seemed unprofessional and makes me question the restaurant's standards for cleanliness and service. Good food, but the cleanliness and employee behavior need to be addressed.

I only had a couple of drinks and left. They tasted watered down. 06/09/2023-We enjoyed dinner and the atmosphere. Everyone was satisfied with their meal. Dessert was delicious 😋 The staff and our server Alec were awesome. They were very attentive to us. 👍

Service and atmosphere were good but the food was Avg. We had couple things off menu. The wings were soggy and flavor I could be better. Mash potatoes and broccoli were the highlight of our meal. Steak was good for a place like this. Pizza was not as good as I thought.

Came on 07/25/25 after 4:30 pm We were a big group of 10. Our server was Mr.Johnny he was very sweet and friendly and made sure we all were served well. We began ordering appetizers and we all placed our orders at the same time and We all had our own bill. Our appetizers came at different times. it’s a busy Friday and I don’t mind the wait but after a while I noticed everyone else had there appetizers and they were almost done eating them and my order which consisted of 1/2 order of onion rings were yet to arrive. I am very patient and understanding so I don’t get upset, I let Mr Johnny know and he apologized went to go check on the order. He came back to tell me they will be right out, another 15-20 minutes went by and nothing, my coworker noticed and stopped Mr Johnny to tell him I didn’t want them any more by this time every one was literally done with appetizers. And mine never arrived. He then went and got his supervisor or manager not sure who she was of the two, she came to address the fact that I no longer wanted them not once did she Start with an apology for the inconvenience of me feeling hungry as a customer and never got my food, she was more concerned that I wanted to cancel that order that I never got and was a bit confrontational in regard that a server brought the order that I placed but apparently was given to someone else, she said so you don’t want the onion rings, I said no because I never got them and by this point it’s been almost 30 minutes since I ordered them. Our group had already by this point ordered there food. It felt as if she were trying to say it in a way of accusation that I did get the order so why am I trying to cancel it, I was trying to explain to her yes I ordered that but it didn’t come to me I am not sure who they gave them to but they were not given to me, we were in a very long table she then continued to try to investigate and question me and then gave up when eventually my coworkers in a group began to explain to her the situation that someone else ordered onion rings as well but they only placed that order under my tab but was given to someone else, she then apologized and stated they will have them out for me. A very long time later I got the onion rings. (Greasy) so greasy my fingers were super wet by touching them.But anyway I had already placed my order for food way before my onion rings came out and AGAIN I ordered the BACON AVOCADO CHEESE BURGER WITH FRIES, AGAIN a little while later the food began to arrive for all the people on the table and my order once again delayed, we all ordered at the same time and in order, I am sitting watching everyone eat there food, they all once again noticed I didn’t get my food by then everyone had there food, while later Mr Johnny came to check on us and we told him my food had not arrived he apologized to me very politely and I just made a comment they do not like me today, he then went to check on my order, once again I waited over 15-20 minutes additionally to had placing my order so it was a long time most of my group were already almost done that’s how long that was there food on there plates were corners left. He came back again and checked and no food still, he told me don’t worry about it I got you, my burger then came out he brought it himself, I told him thank you so much, I began to eat my food and it was not good at all, All that waiting and that burger was one of the saltiest meals in my life! It was so salty I forced my self to eat half then combined with fries even worse! Did not finish my meal, I hate wasting my money and food. It was such a disappointment this was my 1st time here and had high hopes. Very disappointed with the whole situation. But Mr Johnny was so sweet and attentive tried to do the best he could and he gave me coupon for free pizza and did not charge for for my onion rings HE DID A HECK OF BETTER JOB THAN THE SUPERVISOR OR MANAGER ON THE FLOOR THAT DAY! He tried to accommodate me and help me and he was apologetic never being rude like the supervisor. He apologized for her as well so sweet.

I was very disappointed with the quality of the food. Everything was horrendously oily and pretty much inedible. Tots were soggy. Cheesesteak fell apart. Poblano spinach dip clumpy and greasy beyond reason. Maybe it's not this bad if you order in. I have ordered the chicken and shrimp pasta before and it was good, so I was even more disappointed when I received this today. Especially with the prices you pay

It's basically a sports bar. The service was great - the food, not so much. I had the bacon grind burger with Bubba sauce. There was no difference in taste. It was rather dry. The bubba sauce had absolutely no taste, none, nothing. I will not be a repeat customer. Chili's burger is better.

We came here as a party of seven, and while the service was friendly, the food took quite a while to come out. The steak was definitely the highlightwell-cooked and flavorful. The lasagna, on the other hand, tasted more like something you'd find in the frozen section (think Stouffer's), and the chicken pasta was just okay—lacking in flavor. There were also some hiccups with getting the drinks right, which didn’t help the overall experience. For the price, I expected a bit more. Still, if you’re hungry and in the area, it’s an okay spot to try at least once.

Didn’t get to the try the food because the first ten minutes wasn’t even greeted by a server so we left. Only two tables seated in the dining area with gues at the bar but almost 6 servers and the manager walked passed without even any acknowledgment.

Resturaunt was nice sports bar plenty of tvs on different channels with games and other things going on resturaunt wasnt packed we were a bigger party however my table got our food in 15 minutes the other 3 tables didn't get theyre food until we were waiting for a check my buddy never got the ranch he asked for 5 or 6 times the guy just kept disappearing and everytime he showed up still no ranch ....the burger I ordered was not very good really hard to go down for whatever reason while waiting for check I felt sick to my stomach which went away on the ride home but was def unpleasant the next morning the other tables in our party when food did arrive almost every plate was wrong ...but long story short ill never be trying this again

I ordered the Meaty Meaty 12" pizza for $15.99 before tax and it was just bland with no real delicious flavor or kick to it. The crust was hard and not appetizing to eat. They have a promotion on Tuesdays where they sell their 12" pizzas for $9.99. If you want an ok but not delightful pizza experience then go buy a 12" pizza from this establishment on Tuesdays. Other than that, you're wasting your hard earned money.

Found hair in my pizza on 02/08/26… The manager on duty did apologize and refund my money so there was no issue there but they have officially lost me as a customer. Never eating there again just disgusting 🤮

I can’t believe it. I was served raw chicken! Completely pink… I ordered the bacon chicken mac’n cheese and I didn’t notice the chicken was pink since it was covered in cheese. I ate my plate without knowing it was contaminated with salmonella the whole time! I’ve had dinner here a few times and I’m so disappointed that this happened. I came home and started feeling sick and I’ve been puking since. Imagine if my child ate that plate. I’d never recommend this place to anyone, I told the manager and she said there’s nothing they can do on their part…they probably need to fire all the cooks cause that is ridiculous and manager handled it poorly

I hate to leave a bad review because the food is normally great! The experience was completely unacceptable though. My husband had old food fall out of his menu onto the table when he opened it. The waitress when approached agreed that was nasty and cleaned up the food off the table, but left it he nasty menu on the table. When the waitress came back for our food order she left us a lovely surprise. A used glove. On our table. Next to my drink. At this point my husband is wanting to leave. We had eaten here before though and at this point I was chalking it up to our waitress. Then our pizza came out with sausage all over it even though I ordered half without. When we told our waitress, she took it back to the kitchen. When she came back she straight up LIED to us. No, that’s not sausage, that’s hamburger meat. (Even though there is none one to pizza we ordered) I just picked it all off because sending it back for what I asked for was just asking for more backlash.

Came in tonight to try this place for the first time. Wasn’t even seated or able to order. With my group we came in and the servers looked upset that we walked in we assume since most of them were standing around in a mostly empty space waiting to be cut for the night. The host went to three different servers to ask if their sections were able to fit our group of 4 and were told no even though half of the restaurant was more than empty. We didn’t even come close to close. Crazy experience overall.

Came in tonight 11/16/2025 at 6:00PM with my family of seven people to eat, we were told we had to sit at a booth that could only sit six people. We asked if we could have a chair brought to our table the lady who greeted us told us if we wanted we would have to take it ourselves from the bar. We asked if one of the stronger workers could bring it to the table, she got more upset and said no they don’t do that and if we need a chair you need to grab it yourself. We’ve eaten here consistently for the last few years, but if that’s how you’re going to treat people on their birthdays we will dine else where from now on.

Sunflower Time

A very young Latino lady waited on us. No personality at all. Did not get her name. Though I'm sure they will figure it out who I'm referring too. Food great and atmosphere great however. I would recommend this place to eat though.
