Restaurant was very clean with plenty of parking space. Tables and atmosphere were very clean & presentable. Service was nice & attentive. Food came out fairly fast, though it wasn't very busy when we arrived. The ribeye was cooked correctly and surprisingly tasty that I didn't need any sauce. My wife enjoyed her salmon. The queso wasn't bad but wasn't much meat in it, maybe two strips of beef. Overall, we were very pleased with our dine-in experience.

Me and my boyfriend were just there and had an above and beyond experienced with Fernado. He was good at explaining everything we asked, and offered dessert without pushing it on us. Boxed our food up for us, loved it! Will be back for the good food and his specific service.

It was my Dad's 90th birthday and he wanted me to bring steak to his house. My *go to* place was closed at lunch so I chose the Salt Grass in Mesquite because they were open. Let me tell you. I was pleasantly surprised! Everything was SO good! The salads were fresh, perfect. Our filets were cooked perfectly, no *weird stuff* in there. I ate every last piece, as did my Dad. The baked potatoes were HUGE and fully cooked. No hard spots. YUM YUM YUM. I think I have my new *go to* steakhouse for Dad. Thanks for making his day special Salt Grass!! It is a little pricey right now but that will change I am sure. PS I ALWAYS forget pictures! Ugh!

She was also very accommodating with my dietary restrictions and offered thoughtful suggestions to make sure everything suited my needs. She truly made our dining experience enjoyable. He didn’t skip a beat and was incredibly attentive, professional, and friendly. I truly applaud his outstanding customer service — it made our dining experience exceptional. Literally 5 stars all around this Saltgrass location. Been here around 6 or 7 times and every time it’s always as amazing as the first time i came here. Servers amazing, food amazing and the vibe of this place is amazing. My only complaint is on why they changed the house salad, correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t it come with boiled eggs before? and also tomatoes? It was perfect like that I don’t know why they decided to change that all of a sudden. But overall, every single time i come here i get the chicken fried chicken with the baked potato and a side of fries and its literally amazing. The thing I love most about this place is how well its decorated because i love the style of a restaurant like this. I don't know what it is about me but i love paying attention to detail and the lighting is also amazing i love how well this place is built.. Overall though, my favorite thing from here is the BREAD its just so amazing everytime i come here before i even get my food i could eat like 4 breads by myself that’s how good it is. PLEASE SALT GRASS NEVER CHANGE UR BREAD I BEG YOU AND NEVER CHANGE YOUR RECIPES. Only thing i ask is for yall to bring back the OG house salad i loved how it was before please. This is my favorite restaurant.

100% better than Texas Roadhouse—none of the chaos, just a calm, beautiful interior that actually lets you enjoy your meal. My rare sirloin was cooked to perfection, the mac and cheese was rich and indulgent, and the soup of the day was unexpectedly fantastic. Everything came out hot and fast, and the service was smooth and attentive. If you’re after great food in a relaxing, polished setting, Saltgrass in Mesquite is the move.

Saturday the 14th of feb we had lunch are usual meal that we always get but this time I ordered two virgin drinks a strawberry daiquiri and a pina colada. First it took them a while to bring to us and when received they both looked like melted milk shakes they were awful and tasted bad. Me and my teen son ordered them so I was not going to waist money on not drinking them. Food was good. I was so.. disappointed because our waited looked at both and they were dripping and bothers to go get us another one or say "They don't look right". When it was time to get our money back from paying it took a while too. Thank goodness a manager (white young lady with long hair) was checking around and she said let me see what's taking so long. I came here the other day with a few friends and we had such a good time!! I had the country fried steak with potatoes and it was the best thing I've eaten in a minute. The servers were all very friendly and quick. Our server was named Leo he was very considerate and made sure everything was good for us. We stopped by today (Saturday) around 12:10 PM for lunch. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. Our server appeared to be new, as she repeatedly asked us to excuse her mid-order so she could run to the kitchen, seemingly to catch up with other tables. We ordered margaritas, but they never arrived. My husband’s sandwich was also served incorrectly. He ordered it the exact way the menu has it with no changes or substitutions and it was missing the proper condiment and vegetables that are supposed to come with it. When we brought this to our server’s attention, she mentioned that her manager had given her the sandwich that way. This response suggested a lack of familiarity with the menu or proper plating standards. She did acknowledge that she forgot to enter the margarita order. We understand that busy shifts and training periods happen, but the overall service and food accuracy did not meet expectations.

I’ve been going to this location for quite sometime, I’ve NEVER been disappointed on anything. The last couple times I’ve been here the food has been way below its quality standard. The prices are higher now which I can understand based off tariffs, but the food quality should at least match for what you’re paying. I feel like I been low balled tonight and my experience was very poor. I at least tipped my server well because he had nothing to do with this. Saltgrass corporate needs to pay more attention to what they’re sending to there stores, because as of right now I could go to Denny's and get the same steak for a lesser price.

Dear Saltgrass Management Team, I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with my recent dining experiences at your location. I have been a loyal Landry’s customer for over ten years and have visited this restaurant many times. I have consistently chosen your establishment because of its quality, service, and reliability. Unfortunately, my recent visits have reflected a noticeable decline in all three areas. The Range Rattlers we ordered were significantly smaller than in the past, and the shrimp portions appeared reduced. The salads were also far smaller than expected. When our server offered fresh pepper and it barely dispensed, she walked away without addressing the issue when we asked about it. We ordered two Maureen plates with filet mignon, a dish we have always enjoyed. This time, the steaks were tough and lacked tenderness. I ordered mine medium rare, yet it was rubbery and poorly prepared. In addition to the food quality concerns, the hostess at the entrance consistently appeared unprofessional and unwelcoming. Making rude facial expressions toward guests creates a negative first impression and reflects poorly on your brand. I regularly spend over $120 per visit and dine at this location multiple times each month. I have remained loyal because of the high standards you previously maintained. However, based on these recent experiences, I am seriously reconsidering continuing to patronize this restaurant. I respectfully request that management review this location’s food quality, portion consistency, and customer service standards. I would appreciate hearing how these issues will be addressed. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.

Waitlist handling at this location was extremely unprofessional. We arrived around 6:32 p.m. and were placed on the waitlist for two with a quoted 30-minute wait. After waiting over 40 minutes, our name had been removed from the list without explanation. The hostess, Daisy, said a manager removed us, then told us we’d be next — but multiple parties were seated ahead of us with constantly changing explanations. I also saw another guest told he had been removed from the waitlist as well. I spoke with two managers, Erica and Tameron. Both denied removing us, offered no clear explanation, showed little concern, and did not provide a sincere apology. The lack of accountability and dismissive attitude from management made the experience very disappointing.

I didn’t know that there was a charge for to go orders I paid $15.99 for some dip that came out to $18 because of a surcharge of 80 cents check your receipts! Ok I ordered at 12:08 and didn’t get my food until 12:30 that’s ridiculous and then when my food came I was not satisfied with the serving of dip being that I’ve been ordering this dip before they discontinued it so I was excited . I was better off ordering the dip and putting it in a to go container my self the bread and dip ratio don’t add up and I asked to speak to a manager about the serving and she told me there’s no more room in the container for any thing else and she was rude about it rolling her eyes and as if she wanted me out of the restaurant I’ll never come back to this restaurant on her shift or Chelsea shift I can see why Chelsea is over whelmed it’s because of poor management they got her working the bar and phone and to go orders. But Chelsea I heard you and the customer after I asked you can I speak to a manager you could of kept your comment to yourself live with it people have complaints but for the manager she’s a poor manger and very nonchalant I took my previous review down just to put this one up! I’ll be contacting corporate and the general manger need to step in that restaurant asap!!!

I have been a Landry’s Member for over 13 years and have had many dinners over the years in Mesquite. Last night the filet mignon I ordered came out wrong was NOT medium well had to send back still was not cooked properly when I attempted to eat my filet mignon it was nothing but grizzle lots of fat and you needed a chainsaw to eat it! Also the loaded overcharged sweet potato had just a tiny bit of cinnamon butter NOT worth the up charge. My friend had a salad that had hardly any cheese and their baked potato no cheese or bacon on it! The manager only took off 16.00 for the horrible filet mignon. The food is horrible and the worst steak in my life last night! WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY!
