Anthonies Coal Fired Pizza is highly praised for its excellent pizza, wings, and meatballs. Customers consistently highlight the top-notch service and family-friendly ambiance. Some note potential inconsistencies in pizza preparation across locations.

Excelente food and quick service. Joel was our server. great Guy...
Nicole C. is a fantastic server, our little boy spilled our drink get our meal off on the right foot 😬 The pizza was amazing! We are definitely fans of Anthony's and will be coming back next week!
I love Anthony’s all around. Been to several locations on multiple occasions. One observation is the pizza is more burnt at some locations more so than others. I’m sure it’s the ovens at this point but to me im not picky, it’s the kids who prefer a crust that isn’t as scorched. Regardless I enjoy the pizza how it comes as the ingredients are always fresh.
My name is Anthony, and I have been living in Miami for 20 years but had never tried this pizza place before. What a waste of time that was, as this is the best pizza I have ever tried. The texture, the cheese, and the tomato sauce all seemed freshly made. But it's not just the pizza that's fabulous; the chicken wings are extraordinary, with the caramelized onions giving them a sweet taste. You must try this place.

Today Anthony's provided our teachers with the most delicious wings and salads for Teacher Appreciation Week! Everything was amazing and we are so appreciative of their support. Highly recommend. Thank you to Mr. Jean Guillaume, General Manager!
Love this place. Every location is amazing but Kendall is my fav 💪🏻 the ambient and service is top, clean tables, the nicest attentions, congrats to Mario and Paula for a well done job in every detail. I always go for the safe choice, garlic knots for entry with a glass of wine of coke, depending on the company 😅 pizzas come fast to the table and we always have ppl giving us an eye to make sure we are comfortable and happy. Hope this review help yo end in the right place ♥️✌🏻
Amazing food, great vibe, and super friendly staff. Mario, the manager greets us every single time we visit. Absolutely recommend stopping by for happy hour 3:30-6pm.
This is definitely the place to go for lunch. The lunch specials are amazing. We had the caprese salad, the broccolini and sausage app, and a pizza with pepperoni, arugula and, mikes hot honey. The food was superb. I spent my first half of the year in NYC and the pizza was definitely comparable. The broccolini and sausage were ok, they definitely add way more sausage than broccolini, I wouldn’t recommend it. The sausage is good but the dish was not balanced and it was not really hot. The caprese salad was very good. What really shines as in the name is the pizza, the crust was crisped perfect and the tomato sauce is excellent. Another thing that shines at this place is the service. Janyielis (I know I butchered the spelling of her name) was so attentive, nice, patient, and just provided phenomenal service. I was torn between a meatball app and broccolini and sausage, I picked the broccolini because I just can’t pass up a dish with broccolini, in her defense she told me how great the meatballs are (I should’ve trusted her, who doesn’t trust their server) anyways she brought me a meatball to try. I think that just goes above and beyond in the service industry. She didn’t have to do that but she did. They are lucky to have such an amazing server/bartender. The girl does it all. She made the experience.
Had an amazing experience at Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza in Kendall this past weekend! The food was 🔥 as always, but what really stood out was the service. Mario, the manager, was awesome and made sure everything was perfect, and Yainelys was such a great server—attentive, friendly, and on point. Definitely one of my favorite go-to spots. Can’t wait to go back!💜

I like that they have a variety of seating options (bar stools, benches, window seats, etc.) and i like that you can seat yourself. This was our first time, so my partner and i ordered their dry rub roasted wings and a 16” pizza with mushroom and pepperonis. Service was fast. Everything tasted fresh. Environment is laid back, an edge above a regular sports bar… i like how it’s decorated tho It feels very cozy and it’s clean. Dude on the grill who i assume is the manager sings throughout the kitchen which was fun for us. I went on Xmas eve and everyone was friendly despite working on a holiday so i think I’d visit again :)
Service was top notch. Wish a lot of places had the service these guys have. The pizza and wings were good but I think I just need to come again. We got a pizza with hot finger peppers and although it was not spicy it messed with our stomachs that night. But all in all texture, portion, well doneness of pizza all contributed to an all around good pizza. Coming back.
It was very loud inside but the pizza and salad our table shared was delicious. I would have given 5 stars if the restaurant had more staff. Our poor waitress had too many tables to cover so we had delays with the check and adding extra drinks etc.

Kendall location filthy. water all over floor in kitchen. When we went to pick up our take out order. Pizza was fair

This is one of my go-to spots. I usually order the same thing every time: the wings and the arugula and prosciutto pizza. The pizza was amazing as always, and we also tried the tiramisu this time, which was pretty decent. Unfortunately, the wings missed the mark. They used to be big, flavorful, and served with plenty of onions on top, but this time they were disappointing. I didn’t even take a photo, I think I was a bit in shock. I get that it was a busy Sunday afternoon, but that shouldn’t mean the quality of the food drops. The service was also not great this time, and I’ve started to notice that the place feels a little more run down each time we visit. The tables were a bit beat up, the space didn’t feel very clean, and the overall vibe just wasn’t what it used to be. Still love the pizza, but hoping things improve on our next visit.
You’re better off going to the one in Doral. I love Anthony’s but this one is just not as good as other locations. We ordered here last night and the wings were barely cooked, the pizza didn’t have much cheese and the food just didn’t look appetizing.

My boyfriend and I went for lunch/dinner since we hadn’t ate since early morning. We arrived and it took a bit before being provided with a menu, and when ordering our food we requested for sauces to eat along with the wings (buffalo and ranch) we only got blue cheese ? And my boyfriend needed his lemonade changed because it didn’t taste fresh. As well as my beverage strawberry lemonade but I didn’t want to continue to bring to the girls attention creating a negative experience. Coworkers seemed distracted with each other and just created a negative experience as a customer simple request weren’t met. Pizza was alright, and my boyfriend liked the wings (I personally found them to taste alright). Just think there should be a bit more attention to the customers and their request/needs.
Unfortunately, my family and I had a horrible experience. We only walked in for take out— the pizza had charcoal pieces in the middle of the dough. We asked for extra cheese on the pizza and received a side of cheese (shown in the picture) besides the arugula that we also ordered. The atmosphere was clean and nice but the workers were all laughing and not working with care. Just writing this hoping for improvement in this location but definitely, my family and I are not going back.

I’m extremely disappointed with the inconsistency in quality at Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza. The Caprese pizza is actually quite good when you dine in — fresh, balanced, and properly made. However, ordering it for takeout is a completely different (and very frustrating) experience. I chose takeout specifically to save time, but instead, I ended up wasting it. The pizza I received barely resembled what you get in the restaurant — almost no cheese and mostly dry crust. It felt like I paid for dough with minimal toppings. Because of how poorly it was made, I had to go back and wait for them to remake it — which completely defeated the purpose of ordering takeout in the first place. It’s unacceptable for the quality to drop so drastically just because the order is to-go. A restaurant should deliver the same standard whether you're dining in or taking it home. Until this inconsistency is addressed, I would strongly recommend avoiding takeout — especially the Caprese pizza.

You can always count on Anthony's coal fired pizza to be late when you order delivery which means it is always cold. cold pizza sucks.

I came to Anthony’s in Kendall (88th Street) for the first time and was very disappointed. We ordered a 12” square Margherita pizza for $20.79, but when it came out, it was noticeably small. A regular 12” round cheese pizza is only $16.29, so how is it that the same size pizza costs significantly more just because it’s square? When I questioned it, the person in charge said things are more expensive — but if that’s the case, why hasn’t the price of the regular pizza gone up as well? So because it has basil, it suddenly costs that much more? That explanation makes no sense. On top of that, the manager provided poor customer service and didn’t even give us plates to eat with. Some people might think it’s a small detail, but it matters when customers are being overcharged. Labeling the square pizza as a “specialty” just to justify a higher price feels like a rip-off. Very disappointing experience and not the kind of treatment that makes customers want to return.
Our first visit to the place was at night, and the experience was very bad. At the door, we were greeted by a lady with a very bad attitude, speaking in short phrases and not friendly at all. I believe customer service is essential, and it clearly failed here. I ate the pizza without enjoying it because of the bad experience. I will not be coming back. Good luck.
My girlfriend and I were having the great pizza debate , and we always go with your normal go to national chain. Well tonight I pressed the order button for my online order in haste because I felt in my heart that the 40 dollars for a 1 topping pizza and wings would be worth it . I was absolutely wrong. The pizza had very little sauce . The dough was extremely salty and burnt ( they got the coal part right in the name at least .) The chicken ( dry rub ) had something overtly sweet in the rub and neither one of us ate more than one . I would literally eat gas station under the heat lamp for 3 hours pizza before ever ordering this again . I see this place gets traction and it’s a chain .. but for the life of me I can’t see why they are still open . Choose literally anywhere else and you will have made a better decision than I did .

Horribly burnt, I would have gone back and return it, but I live too far. I drove all the way here for this.
My family and I have always enjoyed Anthony’s Pizza — the food is great, and normally the service is just as good. We visit the Kendall location often, and we’ve even brought family when they’re in town. Unfortunately, today’s experience was one of the worst I’ve had dining out in a long time. Our waitress, whose name I didn’t catch, was inattentive and repeatedly forgot simple requests. I ordered a pizza with peppers and red onions. She asked if I preferred caramelized or red onions — I said red — but my pizza arrived with caramelized onions instead. Mistakes happen, but when we tried to get her attention to fix it, she was nowhere to be found for quite a while. Honestly, it’s pizza — it’s not that complicated. You listen to the toppings and get them right. My husband asked for ranch, which never came until the end of the meal. I had also asked to try one of the spicy peppers for next time — also never brought until we were basically done eating. When I finally mentioned that my order was wrong, she offered to have the kitchen make a new pizza to take home, but I declined and just asked for the ranch and pepper. Every time she came by our table, she seemed to be in a rush to leave. There was no attentiveness or care — just a sense of going through the motions. It wasn’t just forgetfulness; it was carelessness and a complete disregard for our table. When we were wrapping up, my husband asked for his military discount. She took his ID to show the manager — and then disappeared again for about 20 minutes. When she finally returned, she had his ID, the check, and a complimentary piece of cake. I appreciate the gesture, but by that point it just felt like adding insult to injury. We’d been sitting there long after we’d finished eating, just waiting to leave. Unfortunately, my husband tipped, which I asked him not to. It wasn’t busy enough to excuse this level of poor service. One bad experience like this can really change a customer’s loyalty, and unfortunately, it has for us. I’m only writing this so that management is aware — hopefully they can address the issue. We’ve always loved Anthony’s, but after tonight, I don’t see us returning to this location.
We used to love this place, but the last few times have been disappointing. The garlic knots came out cold, and the pizza — even though we asked for extra cheese — had what felt like three pounds on it. It used to be great, but something’s changed. Management really needs to look into the food quality, because if things keep going this way, I can see this place closing soon.
