We were pleasantly surprised by the outstanding quality of the food. The service was excellent, and notably, this was the only restaurant we visited in South Florida where the waitress clearly mentioned that a service fee (tip) was already included in the bill—a thoughtful and appreciated gesture.

Stuck in miami due to weather and have been searching for decent iced coffee and had given up until eating here. Best iced latte I've found! Not to overshadow the food, I had the breakfast burrito, really excellent. The service was friendly and quick and my only gripe would be the volume of the music, but the track selection was excellent and the volume seems par for the area. Thank you for the great meal!

Absolutely loved our visit to Café Americano on Miami Beach! We were at this cafe for a late breakfast. The avocado toast with burrata was delicious, but the omelette was a bit greasy, but that's just how food is in America. The service was quick and pleasant.

I came to Cafe Americano expecting a great meal, but I left with so much more gratitude than I could have imagined. The food was excellent, but what really made this visit unforgettable was my server, Pielle. During my meal, I unexpectedly began choking. Without hesitation, Pielle immediately recognized what was happening and performed the Heimlich maneuver. Thanks to his quick thinking and calm action, he quite literally saved my life. Not only was he attentive and professional throughout the meal, but he went above and beyond in a way that most of us never think we'll need from a server. I am forever grateful to him and to this restaurant for employing someone so capable, kind, and heroic. If you want great food paired with truly outstanding service, this is the place to go. Nice place. Pierre was our server. He didn’t check us very often. I would like if he came to our table couple more times just to see if we need anything. Nothing special, very basic service that we could get anywhere else. I definitely expected more. In the other hand, the hosts were very nice, so they made our experience a little bit better.

Upon arrival, I immediately sat on the patio. The service was great! My husband and I ordered lightly, a cheeseburger, wings, and a a couple of drinks. We decided to try this place because of its location on ocean drive but we were pleasantly surprised with the food quality. My fish fry was one of the best I've ever had, very well seasoned and large portion size. My husband tried the wings and was also more than satisfied. It is a bit pricier due to its location but we loved the people watching.

I loved my breakfast at Café Americano on South Beach. I was able to get seated outside right on the sidewalk, which is what I wanted. There was also outside seating on a porch. Also, there is inside seating available. I liked everything about this restaurant. The food was very good and the portions large. It is right across the street from the beach. It is also a great spot for people watching as there is foot, traffic up and down ocean Drive at all hours. I had the Denver omelette and it was as good as any I’ve ever had. It came with hash brown potatoes, which were also very good. Additionally, there was a slice of toast, which was average too good. Prices were very fair and reasonable considering I was right on South Beach. I would recommend this restaurant.

We shared the Tres Leches French Toast, which was incredibly decadent—soft, soaked in that creamy tres leches custard with sweet rum dulce de leche and topped with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. It felt like a luxurious treat with a perfect Latin twist on a classic. The Crispy Chicken Sandwich was spot-on: juicy, perfectly fried chicken with great crunch, fresh toppings, and just the right amount of sauce—super satisfying and flavorful. We also loved the Blueberry Granola Bowl—fresh blueberries blended with yogurt, topped with more berries, bananas, pomegranate, strawberries, and granola. It was refreshing, healthy, and bursting with flavor. The atmosphere is vibrant and quintessentially Miami Beach, with great people-watching on Ocean Drive and friendly service. After stopping to look at the menu on the sidewalk- we were greeted by very friendly staff. We did end up sitting down and enjoying our meal. The Chicken sandwich was well seasoned. It was crispy and juicy on the inside. The bun was soft and fluffy. The sauce they put in the sandwich added a blast of flavor. The Cuban Club was alright. It tasted like an ordinary Cuban sandwich- I would definitely choose the chicken sandwich instead. The Bloody Mary drink was great. A very good mix between alcohol and juice. The Bellini was sweet and smelled great.

Food and atmosphere was fantastic! We stumbled upon this place while visiting the boardwalk and were very pleased with what we ordered. Our waitress didn’t seem to be enjoying her job or maybe annoyed that we didn’t order drinks, so hard to get water refills. We will’s definitely go back and order what we did. Had the wedge salad, watermelon burrata salad and Burria tacos, so a good range.. all really delicious! Only giving 4 ⭐️ because of the waitress.

The lobster tail and steak getting more oily after a while, but because we are sitting outside(on the walk side), so the food getting cold more easily. My mom loves the French Toast with Cream and Honey, but I think it’s good oily. Overall, the food is okay, but I don’t think it’s valuable for 20% fixed tips.

Like a diner on Ocean Drive… The venue is comfortable, airy, and spacious, all of which is agreeably welcomed considering the place is right at Ocean Drive, where space is a luxury. We were there for breakfast and neither the variety of the dishes nor the food itself disappointed. I wish we could have tried more food, but the portions were considerable. We ended up having the French toast (vast for two and probably could do with a bit less sugar), and the pancakes (perfect in size, taste, and fluffiness); coffee was great!!! The service is friendly and expedite, probably a bit more casual than desired (think more of a diner than a restaurant), but for breakfast you can turn a blind eye and still enjoy your meal. Finally, although we were there on a Monday morning and the place felt deserted, I heard reservations are a must on weekends, so be mindful of that. Overall, Café Americano is probably one of the best breakfast options on Ocean Drive: it is unpretentious, comfortable, has a nice view (though not the ocean), and although a 20% service surcharge is added to your check (as probably everywhere in touristy Miami nowadays), it is still reasonably priced.

The buttermilk pancake was excellent - I would give it 5 stars if the toppings were not individually priced. I mistakenly read that only Nutella cost +4, but it turned out that each topping did so the pancake turned out to be $33. 😂 The breakfast sandwich was a decant portion for the price. We enjoyed the coffees in the sun and watching birds cleaning out tables.

Decided to hit up Ocean Drive in South Beach for breakfast. Stopped in at Café Americano. Like many of the restaurants on Ocean Drive, it was very touristy, very lively, very crowded even for a Sunday. Great breakfast menu, great selection of even breakfast cocktails and coffees and the best part was sitting outside. People everywhere, and from everywhere. Amazing cars riding up and down Ocean Drive with their music blasting. Beautiful weather, beautiful music beautiful and attentive staff. Overall great spot.

Probably the best food for the price and location I had in South Beach. The bowls were healthy, tastey, and full of good stuff. Atmosphere was pleasant. Although we sat off the main fairway, we could see the park and enjoy the wonderful weather (March). Service was worth the 18 percent grat (normal in Miami). I'd eat here again.

Breakfast on vacation at a nice café. Of course Miami has a lot of "breezy" restaurants and this was no exception. However wind chill was 32° this day so food got cold quick. Flavor was good, poached eggs were under cooked. Bloody Mary was good but not fancy in any way. Plus I shivered through the entire meal.

The restaurant is cute, clean, and beautiful! The staff is great, attentive and friendly I was expecting my breakfast to be more flavorful. The egg had no salt, and the sausage that came with it was drier than the Vegas desert. But my husband spoke to the waitress, and she immediately replaced my sausage. She was very attentive the entire time! My husband’s sandwich was great! Our coffee was just ok. It’s not a restaurant I would come back to, and I found it expensive for the type of menu they offer The Tres Leches French toast is good!!!! No disrespect or offense intended, just my honest opinion

French toast is absolutely delicious, melts in your mouth, eggs are made to order, potatoes are the horrible frozen version that they didn't even attempt to make edible, and cappuccino is good. Outdoor seating. On the strip. Plenty of food options nice music. All food came out hot! Which is always good. Apps Crispy calamari with vegetables fried and mixed in as well. The sauce that comes with it is good as well. Like a tarter aioli? Good size portion. Spice brined chicken wings (6) couldve been a bit crisper. Flavor is great though. Mild heat. Not the worst wings I’ve had. But not the best. Entrees Salmon. A bland little to no seasoning on the salmon. Theres sauce underneath the vegetables and salmon. It’s definitely better with the sauce. Should probably top the salmon. And shrimp scampi. This comes with olive oil bread. Smaller portion for the price. Shrimp are a good size so I think that helps the smaller portion. Scampi has a nice small kick and creamy sauce which I guess is leaning against traditional. But it was good either way. If you’re not from the area or unaware, there is a 20% added gratuity not including any tips. For me, i guess things were okay. Nothing special.

We only got two entrees, but with the 20% gratuity they added, we spent nearly $100. They do not offer any sort of bread for an appetizer here, you’re mostly paying to eat on Ocean Drive, but you can get the same quality food for much cheaper elsewhere.

This food was terrible! I ordered the chicken parmesan and even after adding salt and pepper, there was nothing that did it for me with the taste. I could've gone to the Olive Garden and eaten a better meal which isn't supposed to be a better option. The noodles were dry and didn't taste too well. I eventually just pulled the cheese off of the chicken and only ate that because the chicken tasted over cooked. The bruschetta was much better after adding a lot of salt to the tomatoes on top. And the wings were hit or miss based on which one you picked up to eat. And to top it off, there was an automatic 20% gratuity added for 2 people. I didn't know about it until after I received the bill. Considering the service was average and nothing over the top, I guess the waitress didn't feel it was necessary to work hard for a tip. But she was friendly although that's a basic requirement for her job. Overall, I won't be going back mainly because of the food. Everything else was tolerable.

Claudia was very good. Looked after us well. Good service and tasty food. However, when it came to pay the bill we were told it was 20% off when we approached + 10% for staying at hotel but because they gave us "happy hour" by offering a free drink that we did not ask for, they negated any discount on the food (we got the happy hour) (unhappy hour for us). Funny thing is they pushed for a review by leaving a card on the table, so here it is. Also, service charge does not go to the staff, they want a tip on top of that. Happy dining 😀.
