Best Chinese food for the $. Their best combo is lunch special with honey chicken.(period) Eat it fresh and you will never regret coming in. The customer service sucks but the food is worth it.

This place is by no means the best chinese food you are gonna get, the concept of the restaurant as I see it is fast food. Food is fast, warm, tasteful and cheap, so cheap I could afford to eat there almost all my meals every day ($170ish/week), except Monday (because they are closed ^^) I loved the vegetable soup from there. They are part of the community and even though I moved away I still remember that restaurant. Bringing Cantonese cuisine to Hialeah in a fast food setup.

I never write reviews on Google, but I just needed to for this business. Canton Village is a staple in my family. I have been going there all my life. My parents, too, used to even go prior to their marriage, so that's 30-something years total of visiting and they've never failed us. Every single person I have ever introduced to Canton Village has loved it. The most recent convert is my boyfriend. We absolutely love this place. The portions are massive, the food is delicious, and I've been such a regular at this restaurant that they know me by name. Honestly, no complaints - I've lived elsewhere and traveled the world, and well, I've yet to find somewhere that makes their egg rolls how they do. I could seriously eat those all day.

BEST. CHINESE. FOOD. PERIOD. This place is amazing! There are a lot of Chinese restaurants in Hialeah but this one seems to get it right every time. It's a staple for the locals. My family and I have been coming for YEARS. Try their honey garlic or sweet and sour chicken(their sauce tastes better from everyone else's), egg rolls, and special fried rice. They're the most popular and you won't be disappointed. Their BBQ ribs and fried chicken also deserve a mention! The place seems a bit outdated but the foods makes up for it. The owner are also the best! They memorize my order when I just give them my name! The only thing I don't like about the place is the phone call waiting time. ADVICE: If you're trying to order food from the phone during their dinner rush (5pm-9pm), expect to wait awhile for someone to answer or don't bother calling. It takes forever for them to get through because it gets so busy. Instead, place your order inside so they get it right! It still takes about 30-45 mins but their food is made to order! Ask for Patty or Jimmy, they're the best!

Best egg drop soup I've ever had, and huge portions. Super quiet in the middle of the day, no music or anything which makes for an interesting atmosphere.

My family has been going to Canton Village for a long time. Very friendly owners. And my husband loves their shrimp with lobster sauce.

i have been going to the place for more than 10 years and i am a very loyal costumer but i dont know what happen but those last 2 times i order the same food was really bad the rise was hard and full of big cut pieces of onions , the chiken was cold and old fried, i am just sad cause i live in the corner and that place is one of my favorite

The food really is not that good. I got general tso’s and the sauce is watery causing the chicken to be soggy. No cutlery either provided either luckily the hotel had some. This place has had the same tables , chairs and decor for at least 40 + years. That being said the food is greasy and the lady that served us tonight for dinner couldn’t care less if we were there or not.

The fried rice wasn’t good, but I felt like I was eating arroz amarillo. The pieces of ham and onions were HUGE. It had one shrimp for the whole thing of fried rice. The honey chicken wasn’t bad but I couldn’t eat the sauce because it had stuff in it, I think it was rice from another order or something. Honestly not worth it. But at least it was cheapish.

The food is good but it's not the same as when I was younger. I have been buying food from here for 16 years. But over all pretty great. I like the new online system and the restaurant update. Since the owners changed the quality of the food has declined.

I found staples in my fried rice and I called to make it right. Since this was an order through Uber Eats, they stated it was the driver who would have done it. Ummm, the food was sealed from Uber upon arrival. It’s true, that this place used to rock but the lady was basically calling me a liar. If you have any cognition of what’s good food, please avoid this place.

Place used to be good but with new owners the food has lost it’s quality. They used to be the best in Hialeah but like all good things it came to an end. Chinese jumbo rice was more like Cuban Chinese rice. Sad to say I won’t be coming back here.

The food was horrible. I asked for eggs in my shrimp fried rice and there was none I also asked for green onions and they put white onions and barely green onions. The worst part is the large honey garlic chicken I ordered was. pieces of chicken breast chopped in little pieces in a small box. DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT.

This place should be called “Cuban Canton” instead of Canton Village. I ordered a jumbo special fried rice yesterday and the rice was not even close to fried rice. It was yellow in color, over cooked, big pieces of ham, few shrimps, no meats, no egg, no onions, etc. It seems that they changed owners and everyone there now is Hispanic including the chef, must be Cuban. For crying out loud, my mother makes a better fried rice than what I got there yesterday. If the restaurant is Chinese, have the appropriate staff. The fried rice did not even smell like fried rice because it was not done right as a Chinese chef knows how to do it will all Chinese condiments, sauces, meats, etc. I will definitely not be going back there because at home I get a better Chinese rice. With our left over rice, we will attempt to save it and make it a fried rice, what a shame. It seems that Hialeah, Fl. does not have that many good places to eat anymore, have to venture out to other neighborhoods in Miami.

This restaurant has lost a lot of quality, the only good thing about it was the waitresses. When you place your order to go, make sure you do not change your mind and want to eat it at the restaurant, because if you do they won’t let you eat at the restaurant “restaurant policy”, we had to order a second identical order so we could eat there.

You can tell this is a business, but the lady at the counter is so stingy she charged me a 1$ on my credit card for 3 duck sauce packets. The issue was waiting 30 minutes when she said it will be ready in 5. Horrible place and horrible service.

So first I want to say that these are new owners. Don't know exactly when the place was sold. The place is old and disgusting. The lady answering the phone was very flat and rude with a bad attitude. The quality of the food now has changed and its pretty bad. I got a bone in my chicken egg-fu -yung. The special fired rice was hard and tasted weird as if it was old. It also had very little amounts of meat with no egg, onions, scallions, nor been sprouts. Large order, expensive, and only got I fortune cookie! How cheap is that. Spoke to the manager and refused to give me a refund. Never again will I go to this dump.

Placed an order over the phone and they told me it would take 20 minutes. When I got to the location I had to wait an additional 20 minutes to get my food. I clearly stated over the phone multiple times for my special fried rice to not have shrimp because im allergic. When I get my rice and check it and ofcourse It had shrimp. I had to wait another 20 minutes for them to make another rice and they didn't even offer me anything for the inconvenience.Terrible experience as a customer will never eat here again.

Ordered online. Picked up my good and asked the lady for some extra soy sauce. With a attitude since the beginning she says she put plenty. Something told me to open my bag and check. She put 4 little packets. 4. I had a fairly large order. Then when I asked her for more she gave me 4 more with a nasty attitude. It’s soy sauce. What’s the big deal? SMH. I have been going to this Canton Village for about 25 years. The food has been Excellent. But.... Within the last 3 months something has happened.. The last 4 times the food has been horrible. The Rice is Dry and yellow, The Honey Chicken is different and soggy, the Wonton soup taste Horrible. Its not the original taste me and my family have enjoyed for many years. There are new personal working there. The two young sisters no longer work there. SUNBIZ does not show a change in ownership. I called Canton to ask and they state they still have the same people working there but that's not true. I have stopped ordering from this Chinese restaurant.

I asked if Jimmy was still the owner, and they told me that yes, he was still the owner, but now his nephew was in charge. To my surprise, the food was terrible. The fried rice was very yellow. I ordered beef and broccoli; it was terribly cold, and the meat was hard. I also ordered breaded shrimp; it was different and tasted terrible. Well, I will not be eating there again.

Not to mention the low quality that has been provided by such an establishment in my community.
